- Efstratia (10/5): - It was a modern 2 bedroom house.We had 3 adults staying.The place had all the utensils and cook ware and crockery ,everything you need to make dinner if you didnt want to walk to a restaurant. There is a supermarket about 400 to 500 meters away ,which had everything.There is a bus stop both down the street and up the street.Plaka is about a mile away ,a little up hill walk ,but it has cafés and restaurants.We found the location convenient. The host Mr Aris is very kind and helpful.He always asked us if there is anything else he can do for us. We all loved our stay and highly recommend it.

- Caitlin (10/5): Quaint Stay at Vivere a Plakes - Wonderful stay at Vivere A Plakes - Aras was our host and made sure we felt welcomed. He greeted us, gave us the lowdown on the town and things to do around. You can tell that he loves the island and wants his guests to experience every part of it! The rooms were nice and we had a cute little pool to ourselves. It was relaxing and a nice break from the crowds of Santorini and Athens. This is a laid back town but one with so much magic.

Parking for our small car was easy and the location is great. The host, Aris, provided us excellent recommendations and went out of his way to assist us. I can’t wait to return!

The accommodation is clean, well equipped and we loved returning from exploring the island to our private terrace and mini pool. Aris is a wonderful host and made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

The manager Aris is knowledgeable and so helpful with whatever you need, the true Greek host. I will absolutely come back and stay here again. The location is perfect to the main Plaka areas but far enough away to have some peace. Highly recommend

- Ladelyn (10/5): Amazing place to stay! - Aris and his staff were absolutely incredible and they made our stay so comfortable and nice. We got locked out of our room one night and even though the office was closed, someone still came by quickly to let us in. They cleaned the apartment every day and if you wanted, you could also have your sheets and everything changed. The kitchen was equipped with everything you needed to make a nice meal and the grocery store was a short walk away. I will be back to Milos again one day and I will definitely stay here when I come.

- yann (10/5): Parfait et confortable appartement - Accueil très sympathique de Harris qui parle aussi bien anglais que français. Il a été d’une aide précieuse tout au long de notre séjour. L’appartement était très soigné et bien confortable. La literie était top. Manquait peut être quelques ustensiles de cuisine mais il suffisait d’aller lui demander. Au final, nous sommes enchanté par notre séjour. Il ne manque que la piscine pour être au top...
- Caitlin (8/5): great hospitality and service! - I had 2 rainy days in Milos so it’s hard to really say how I felt. Location wise, I needed a car, but I think that’s most the island. The service at the hotel was amazing though and made me feel at home. Aris couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful! The staff even texted me right away when I left something at hotel. Traveling alone as a woman I also felt very safe. I hope to come back one day to see it with nicer weather :)

- Elisabeth (10/5): Superrent med fantastisk service - Vi bodde i en liten tvårumslägenhet, mycket praktisk planerad. Det lilla personliga hotellet Vivere ligger med gångavstånd in till restaurangerna i Plaka. Hotellet är mycket väl underhållet och rummen är som sagt superrena. Ägaren Aris var mycket serviceinriktad och berättade allt vi behövde veta om Milos. Om vi åker tillbaka till Milos någon gång återkommer vi definitivt hit!

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Aris, the property overseer was WONDERFUL ....he GENUINELY cares for his guests and found the PERFECT excursions for us that were soooo affordable and the BEST time and value for the cost. During the time we were there it was quite warm and the AC was nice and COLD. The property was immaculate and well maintained. Nothing real close for food and restaurants was the only downside.
- riva (10/5): wonderful - i can not say enough good things about this place and the manager/owner. he was kind enough to drive us to the beach since he was free . the breakfast was good especially the laconia (spelling) . the area is walkable to plaka and easy enough to navigate. i would definitely return . the rooms are no frills not fancy but definitely cosy.

He served us coffee and his mom’s incredible pastries while visiting and telling us all about his homeland. My only complaint was drinking water costs but that in Europe that is not unusual. Milos has always been my dream and Aris’ “Dream Life” place is one place I would return to and highly recommend.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Helpful owner, well organised. - We had the one bed apartment whose entrance was very closeto the road. However it didn't mar the stay. It is a large apartment for two, very clean and decently equipped. The owner gave us a very good welcome chat and was helpful at all times. The area is a good one to stay, close to the old town, walks to ancient Klima and bus connections.
- Stace (10/5): - Absolutely loved the island of Milos! Vivere a Plakes was a little tricky for us to find at first...but once we got there it felt like home. Amazing hospitality! Great shower! Really clean! Hope to return someday and without a doubt would book with Vivere a Plakes again.
- Bella (10/5): Perfect base for exposing Plaka & Milos - "Vivere a Plakes" proved to be a very convenient base for exploring both the old town of Plaka on Milos as well as the beaches that the island has in abundance. One needs a car to really do justice to the latter and if you are willing to scramble over slightly rough terrain you'll be rewarded with beaches like Kastanas or Tsigrado which are an absolute delight!

- sopheap (10/5): Great ambassadors of the lovely island of Milos - The hotel is located in a quiet area near Plaka, a nice village not too far from the port of Milos.By walk, you can reach the beautiful little village and have access to a lot of restaurants and original shops. The hotel is operated by a lovely family. They are great ambassadors of the island and all its beauties. The hotel is being modernized now that the children are taking over the management of the hotel. Breakfast was nice, great fresh pastries. We had a very nice stay.

We had every we needed, walk to restaurants, stores and archeological tourist attractions. A cab ride away from beautiful beaches and fishermen villages. Bedrooms small but we had the living room and yard to hang out.
- Marie (10/5): Très joli studio à quelques minutes de Plaka. - Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à Vivere. Le studio est grand, joliment décoré et très propre. L'air climatisé de la chambre est efficace et très silencieux. Aris, notre hôte, est très accueillant et a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour agréable. Nous étions bien situés pour aller souper à Plaka en marchant en soirée. La route se fait très bien, une dizaine de minutes dans un décor magnifique. Les habitants sont sur leur terasse ou devant leur maison à profiter de l'air rafraîchi de fin de journée et cela nous accorde des échanges intéressants avec eux. La plage Firopotamos est à quelques minutes et Adamas (le port) à moins de dix.Une voiture rend le séjour bien plus agréable. Milos a de trop belles plages pour ne pas tenter d'au moins faire les plus belles et les autobus rendent la chose plus lourde. Nous retournerons à Vivere avec plaisir si nous retournons à Milos.
- Daniel (10/5): Great! - Our stay at Vivere a Plakes was great. We stayed 3 days in Milos and Aris advised us on what we should do/see. Our room was great, the breakfast was fantastic and inexpensive, and we were within walking distance to the towns of Plaka and Tripiti. We were a bus ride away to many places on the island. Upon our departure, he extended a gift to me and my wife since we had just gotten married! Aris was very nice, personable, helpful, and I would recommend this place to anyone who plans on visiting Milos.
