Ashok (10/5): What a gem of a Hotel - This hotel is a gem in every sense. Our room was comfortable, clean and we woke to the most wonderful view every morning. Room service was prompt on any request. There was so much choice for Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian for both breakfast and evening meals, served by attentive staff. Abong our regular waiter in the evening was both charming and delightful. All in all we both had a wonderful stay at The Panoramic Getaway and would recommend to our family and friends.

Aparna (10/5): - My husband and I stayed at The Panoramic Getaway from 22 to 24th August 2023. We chose to stay at the Pavilion Suite. The experience was phenomenal. There are 2 restaurants and a cafe, a spa, there are two heated swimming pools for everyone who stay there. With the Pavilion Suite you will have a private pool, a sauna, a jacuzzi and a bathtub. The staff were professional and welcoming. They always had a smile and accommodated all the requests we had. I will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends.

The rooms were nice and spacious, with balconies over looking the hills. The pool area was so nice, wish we had time to use the pool as it was heated
Ajith (10/5): Amazing resort - We stayed in the property for one night, the location is easily accessible and it’s on Munnar bypass , it is also very close to the Anachal town. It has 2 swimming pools , both of them are heated ones which is highly essential. The room was spacious and the view from the balcony was incredible. We opted for buffet dinner and breakfast which was good. The infinity pool was awesome and the sunset view from the pool was mind blowing.

I'm awed by the cleanliness, hi-tech amenities and attention to detail of this property. One can just stay at the resort and not go out and still have a great time. A well maintained heated swimming pool, great food, beautiful spa , hygienic property with great aesthetics and attention to detail, overall a great experienced. Megan (6/5): Lovely hotel but needs work & not value for money - We booked this hotel as a 1st of 4 for traveling Kerala. After visiting India previously with varying hotel experiences, I was particular about which hotels we chose & opted for 5 star only. I was concerned on visiting the panoramic getaway that my recollection of fantastic Indian hotels was either affected by ‘rose-tinted glasses’ or that the Keralan hotels did not match their Rajasthan counterparts because I was a tad disappointed with our stay: Positives - Beautiful rooms with a fantastic view. Lovely bathrooms, amazing shower. - Stunning infinity pool & surrounding area - Attentive, friendly staff Negatives -the ‘at one with nature’ vibe is blemished by birds in tiny cages and fish in a small pool with just enough water to swim positioned next to the restaurant. I actually found this quite upsetting to be honest. - the breakfast was ok - my boyfriend liked the ‘buffet style breakfast’ but for me I struggled to find anything I wanted to eat (despite loving curry for breakfast¬ a fussy eater) - everything lacked finess. It all looked quite sloppy or unappealing. Anaemic sausages, curry with little in them other than sauce and only fried accompaniments, sickly sweet juices or pasta salad?! The eggs to order were OK and baked beans but these were only available 1 day. - Children’s play area next to the outdoor dining area affected the ‘couples retreat’ holiday we were after - restaurant overpriced -better food 800m down the road (and 10th of the price!)

Really enjoyed both the family pool and the infinity pool, and the ayurvedic spa treatment. The food in the restaurants was also excellent. Nothing bad to say about Panoramic Getaway! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Verified traveler (2/5): Unprofessional Experience from the Managing Staff - We checked into the hotel last week and from all my previous experiences, only the person who booked the hotel had to provide ID in order to check in for all the rooms that have been booked. However, the hotel staff at Panoramic Gateway informed me that I have to provide passports for all the guests which only half had passports at that time and the other half had their passports at home. I know this was due to the hotel policy they had but the managing staff especially the manager, Galvin, was pretty poor at handling the situation. Usually managers do their role to keep the situation under control but instead he made it worse by saying the following "if you don't provide your passports for all guests then there is no room for you guys". I thought this was such a disrespect and unprofessional considering this is coming from a manager. Ironically, the reception desk acted more professionally but Galvin just made that statement and he walked away. We were able to sort out identification issue even though we checked in so late in the day. Anyways, I am going to stay away from this hotel for my future visits at Munnar. I am a seasoned tourist and I will do my best not to recommend this place to my friends and family. Horrible experience experience from the management staff.
Freelander56 (8/5): Pleasant hotel, spacious rooms, good views. - Good looking hotel, rooms large and well furnished, modern well equipped bathrooms. The main restaurant is good for breakfast only. The brightness of the lighting stops it from being an overly relaxing evening dining experience we preferred the more relaxed low lighting and music in the grill restaurant. They both have extensive menus and a varied selection to suit all tastes. The breakfast buffet was extensive and some items were prepared to order. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The infinity pool was very good and a great idea to keep it for adults only. We had an issue with our first Room 216, the extract from the grill kitchen makes the whole of that corridor very noisy and in particular the en-suite of Room 216 as the sound comes through the vent very loudly. We complained and they assured us it would go off at 10pm, this was not acceptable as even with the bathroom door shut the bedroom was noisy. We moved to a room on the other side of the hotel the next day after penning a letter to the owner. The rest of our stay was very enjoyable. Unless you are prepared to drive a reasonable distance to other restaurants or hotels you are obliged to eat in, there is not much else close by to this hotel. Having said that all the meals we had were very enjoyable but be prepared for a reasonably long wait, or pre-order!
Verified traveler (10/5): Absolutely great, albeit expensive, hotel - Great hotel in Munnar!!! I am always skeptical about the quality of hotels in India - that too in a small town like Munnar. I was extremely (positively) surprised by this hotel. The hotel furnishing and quality is top class - like you would expect anywhere in Europe. The breakfast buffet was awesome. The service was fabulous. The view of mountains from the room was very serene and relaxing. The pools are nice - the Infinity pool is very good, although I found the Family pool to be the better one. The hotel is quite pricey though. So if you can afford a bit pricey hotel, go for this - the property quality, ambience and the service is absolutely top class
Ranjana Sharma (10/5): Lovely hiils resort - Lovely place to stay, good and helpful staff, fast internet, good breakfast and dinner with good choices, rooms very clean, very modern set up, bed comfortable, with soft pillows. Good view of the hills and mountains. Try to avoid rooms 101 and 102 as the noise of the extractor fans in the morning and evenings will drive you crazy.
JT (10/5): Hotel w infinity pool in the Munnar hills - Lovely, clean hotel with a heated infinity pool on the roof overlooking the valleys between the hills. Staff were excellent, the food in the restaurants was great and the views fantastic. Would definitely stay again if heading back to the area.
Verified traveler (6/5): Nice infrastructure devoid of local culture - Very modern rooms and amenities that are well maintained, but do not expect to get a feel of Kerala's culture in this hotel. We stayed there during Onam and did not find any special food or celebrations. It clearly lacks the Kerala culture or local experience that we experienced at other hotels in Kerala.
Ameer (8/5): Bit improvement needed - hotel staffs specially the staff at family swimming pool area was very helpful by taking care of my kids so that we have enjoyed swimming without hassle.. few steps which hotel management has to look after is 1/ need to renovate the main entrance of hotel so that everyone can exit and entrance easily.. 2/ need to fix USB charging option since majority of mobile phones are USB enabled charging .. as temporary option hotel can keep extra adaptor which you don't have when I asked to receptionist 3/ on 4 th floor near to activity room ,spot light on garden has to either removed from postion or covered with cushion material .. my leg fingers has blooded due to strip at hard metal..already shown to your staff on duty .. Apart from this it was a pleasant stay at panoramic

Tiny balconies nit worth even standing there. Uncouth and untrained staff. Lobby level Restaurant had a stinking smell on two occasions we visited. Reserved based on ratings which are completely misleading. Checked out in one night though we were to stay three nights.
