Guest Reviews
- Knight 111 (10/5): -
- Jewelz (1/5): - Nothing was good management was rude, and couldn't have visitors. Room had bugs, walls were paper thin, and manger tried to enter the room when I said that I was just fine and didn't need anything.
- Kasie (7/5): It was alrght. - Loved the breakfast. Could have been a little cleaner.
- Leigh (8/5): - Front desk clerk
- Kelli (6/5): - I don’t want too
- Paternina (1/5): Awful, we stayed for 5 minutes - Nothing Everything
- Wilson (5/5): Passable -
- Stacy (1/5): Disgusting! Didn’t even stay. Blood everywhere on bedding, didn’t even stay, left after 30-45 minutes of being on proper - Absolutely nothing. They had us laying on bloody sheets, would not even discuss the issues with us, the lady slammed the window closure down in my husbands face and wouldn’t discuss a refund with us. We were there approximately 30-45 minutes and had to leave due to the disgusting state of the motel. Definitely will never make that mistake ever again! Nasty, disgusting, rude, hateful. Bloody sheets, staff poor interaction. Will NEVER STAY HERE EVER AGAIN. Checked out 30-35 minutes after arriving.
- John (4/5): - Dirty towels in the floor hair on the bed and bathroom sink
- TylerandDeanna (6/5): - Got a good night rest and on a budget
- Karen (5/5): Don't stay at this hotel. - I didn't like the hotel at all. The owner charged us $5 extra dollars and was very rude. The rooms where not clean like they should be. We found all kinds of stuff people left in drawers and refrigerator. The refrigerator and microwave looked like they haven't been clean in months or years. It was like they didn't even look in the drawers to clean the drawers out or the refrigerator.
- Gravitt (7/5): Good -
- William (4/5): Was okay - No breakfast. Location was fine. Did not get a refund when we had to leave early. Bed had three mattresses and was too tall.
- Brown (6/5): Pleasant - Location was good Roaches in the rooms trains passing all hours of day and night made sleeping difficult
- Charmin (6/5): - Staff was awesome, room & bathroom was clean, and price for one night was reasonable. Only complaint we have is; whomever was in the room next to us fought & fussed all night and kept my boyfriend up all night. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Thank you
- Rhonda (7/5): Good - It was exactly what I expected for the price.
- Ikard (1/5): Bad -
- Miller (1/5): Bad - Nothing The owners were rude and hateful
- Tasha (3/5): Poor -
- Samantha (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jennifer (10/5): - Great place to stay!! Highly recommend staying here!!
- Creations (6/5): Cheap and Clean - It was cheap and clean. We love older hotel/motels, so the OG tiny bathroom was cute. We appreciated the mini fridge and microwave, not something you expect at this size or price range. Laundry on site was nice too. The train tracks are very active. The room had a smell we couldn't get rid of, like old cigarettes and stale air (supposedly non smoking room). Ice is an additional fee. The owners wife tried to charge a $5 cash deposit (I didn't ask what for) but I don't carry cash, eventually she gave up, she had already run my card.
- Summers (1/5): Not happy - I liked the parking The room was small and had a funny smell also there was dirty rags hanging in the bathroom and the owners stood outside my window yelling at each other in the middle of the night
- Jenny (5/5): Passable -
- Michell (8/5): Very good -
- Christy (5/5): Passable - clean rooms updated rooms
- Michell (8/5): Very good -
- Michell (8/5): Very good -
- Michell (9/5): Superb - People are very nice put new flooring in makes it nice They need to put new refrigerators in and up date bathrooms
- Michell (9/5): Superb - I liked the people and room They could get new refrigerator in rooms to make them better
- Michell (8/5): Very good -
- Kyle (2/5): Very poor - Train tracks next to room - 50'.
- Michell (8/5): Very good -
- Michell (8/5): Very good - Good location The refrigerator in room needs replaced so it keeps food cold
- Michell (8/5): Very good - Warn place to stay in cold weather in a pinch

- Myra (8/5): Very good -
- Berry (1/5): Bad - It was a quiet area The woman who checked me in was rude. She demanded I give her $5 even after she ran my card for the room charge and didn't tell me why and then when I went to park she told me I had to move as if patrons staying there had assigned parking spots and would be mad if I parked there.
- Tiffany (1/5): Bad -
- John (1/5): Bad - Nothing That hotel was run by unprofessional people. The room was dirty and had bad smell. Treated customers like an enemy. I let all of my friends know not to go that place.
- Kames (2/5): Very poor - Overall the room was fairly clean. Plumbing problems; the shower drain was clogged and the water line to the toilet broke. I didn't mind that the building is old, I had a nostalgic moment. There is a BBQ place across the street that has good prices and the food is alright. The motel is not far from a large shopping mall.
- Anthony (1/5): Bad -
- Candace (10/5): Satisfied family - The price was good the location was great and the staff were amazing Had to leave so soon
- Nate (1/5): Bad - Tv and shower Being broke into and begged for more money
- Seong (10/5): - Excellent
- Rosalie (1/5): Absolutely horrible, disgusting, rude. - Nothing. It was absolutely horrible, bed bugs everywhere my children were bitten from head to toe. Owners are absolutely horrible people kicked me and my children out when I told them about the bugs refused to give me my money back and called the police on me after intimidating me and trying to force me to leave without my belongings on a busy road with children under the age of 4 the youngest being 9 months old.
- Bryan (4/5): Disappointing - The clerk was friendly for it to have been a late check in. Place desperately needs an upgrade. Bathroom sink and shower had hair in it. Windows didn’t seem secure. Railroad tracks right by the motel.
- Gregory (8/5): - Wish the mattress had been a little more comfortable.
- Mike (10/5): - Nice stay
- Austin L (6/5): - Train behind room
- Jamey (7/5): Good -

- Verified traveler (6/5): Manager - Is little old place is good location for my work
Clean is good no excellent
Price is just for this property
- David (10/5): - Economically friendly place to stay while you explore Walls of Jericho, Unclaimed Baggage, Stephen's Gap, and other area attractions. Also, recommend the Liberty Diner for Breakfast
- Prevatt (2/5): Very poor -
- Sainsmy (1/5): Probably staying somewhere else for a little extra but better experience next time - Bathroom was missing the shower fixtures so couldn't take a shower. Trash wasn't changed in one of the bens from a previous person stay. Found trash behind the night stands.
- Thomas (7/5): Good -
- Peter (4/5): - The first room was not good - carpet was wet, dirty towel in bathroom, no tissue. The room we were moved to was nice.
- Sevierre (8/5): - Good
- Jeremye1981 (9/5): Great rates and great comfort. - The bed slept as good as anything I've ever slept on. Amazing comfort. Everyone was friendly from check in to check out. Prices very reasonable, friendly folks, I will surely be back. I really don't have anything bad to say. I have no complaints of my time there.
- Loke (7/5): If you need some place cheap to sleep while on the road this is your place. - Good value for money. Was clean enough. Excellent wifi. Train passes by so woke up every hour when it passed during the night.
- Lane (8/5): - The ice machine was broken. The room was clean. It is an older hotel with a reasonable price.
- Pedro (3/5): Poor -
- Charles Nelson (6/5): - No tube shower only very load train
- Terry (6/5): I got what I paid for. Very economical. - Unit was clean. Shower was laughable! Service at checkin was good. I got what I paid for. I’m not unhappy. Was a 1 night stay passing through.
- Colton (10/5): - The owner is very nice and they stop by every morning to get laundry and make the extra effort to make sure we are happy and comfortable.would definitely recommend to travelers and construction crews
- Michael (2/5): - Dirty and smelly
- Jason (6/5): - Staff was friendly. If a cheaper place to stay for a night is what your looking for it his is the place. Train right next to the hotel, runs a couple times through the night. Had cigarette burns in everything from my bed sheets to the shower curtains. Cleaners came in while I was out, made the bed but did not bother with the trash or new linen.
- Candy (10/5): - It was a quite and Wonder night here
- Suzan (2/5): Bad Budget Inn - This place gave me the heebie-jeebies. First of all i asked for a non-smoking room and got a stinky smoking room. Second, some of the suppoedly white towels were a dark, dirty gray. The bathroom looked disgusting, so neither my son nor I would take a shower there. Then checkout was 11am, and someone came to clean the room at 10:30 - that in itself wasnt bad, but he asked us to get him the trash cans - there's no way I was touching those skeevy things.Thank goodness we were there only 1 night.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I like all the amenities that they have.
- Verified traveler (2/5): very dirty - We arrived and right away the desk lady/owner added a deposit of $100 we went to the room and it had dirty sheets and she then moved us to an even worse room.We ended up staying in the car i would not stay here again
- Nancy (8/5): Budget - Decent enough for a no frills
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This hotel is older hotel but in good condition. The staff there try hard to make stay a good one. My room had a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator in it. The bed wss comfortable and the tv was a 32 inch. I was here on business and it was perfect for my needs. A clean room at a lower cost... only thing there is a train track close by but the hotel cant control the train system. A plus for what i was looking for on this trip.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Well for starters called for 2 rms appox.10hrs. Prior to arrival and upon arrival only one rm was supposely ready, not i helped make bed and rm was Not Clean.three day old coffee grinds in machine,Awlful check in clerk did all paper work and rushed me to sign.after traveling 12 hrs. All you want is a charged phone and a shower, nope at appox.7:30 no charge on phone so hubby and i took phones to our car sat outside to wait for charge, wall outlets did not work and No recieption in rm.we were told we could Not be sitting outside because others guest say "people outside call office to tell?? "Confused what im out here as i need my phone and its cold.. Really as i was informed later that its a drug infested area and addicts frequent this place. The Owner was very rude and made it look like we were bad people! As my husband is a B.T.K. below the knee amputee there was no accomadations for his needs llike a shower chair ,(requested when booked second rm. Was open at 11:30 and it was also very dirty, We all felt very uncomfortable including 13yr.grandson which wanted to leave or sleep in car, he wouldnt even take a shower as he. Was worried about hidden cameras ?? WE WILL NEVER EVER STAY HERE AGAIN NOR WILL HUNDREDS OF family ,or friends that we talk to about all our travels. This place needs to demoed" We will sleep in car first,or pitch a tent NEVER EVER AGAIN.. BUDGET YOU SUCK and your non AMERICAN.. Not one flag in miles of this place. Ashamed
- Jessica (8/5): - Nearby everything
- Shelley (8/5): - It was decent stay for the price. Will probably stay again
- John (6/5): - Lady at office was nice, facilities are old but clean.
- Jessica (10/5): - Room was clean, staff was nice, it was quiet and nice. Would definitely book again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Nothing. crack heads knocked on the door all night I checked in at 9 pm and just had to leave after the 5 person beat on the door wanting to come in
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I booked for a week but had to leave early. He refunded my unused days.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was very clean and nice and quiet the staff was great and the price was even greater
- Paresh (8/5): - Nice clean room and friendly service.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - These rooms are extremely outdated and musty smelling. No interior decorations on the walls. Fridge was unplugged upon arrival and ac was missing some parts but did work. I couldn’t bring myself to stay there over night so I rented a room at the Quality Inn down the street. I knew the room was non refundable but was worth the extra $74.00 to stay elsewhere. I will investigate more thoroughly on my next reservation.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The rooms were very clean they change sheets on my bed every day come in and vacuum the staff was super nice room could use updating but I would stay again parking lot was clean everybody was super nice helpful knowledgeable about the area
- Verified traveler (10/5): It’s great when you’re Inn a Budget! - Friendly host, nice rooms. No troubles. This hotel is conveniently located right in the center of town.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The staff was excellent, the place was was terible, they even charge for ice.
- Tonya (2/5): Don't stay here - Nothing in ad is true and place was filthy. Bed sheets so dirty we went and bought sheets.charged for ice. Pets not allowed but advertised as ok. Breakfast hot or cold advertised on sign..no breakfast not even coffee.
- mark (6/5): Cheap and passable - This motel is older, and in need of a facelift and upgraded wiring, but cheap, and comfortable enough, with coffee makers, mini fridges and microwaves, The real downside is the nearby rail crossing. expect the trains to wake you several times each night.
- Roberto (4/5): Higher price and noisy train. - Clean and good size room.
There is a train very close to the room’s back window, horning and very noising in a very often schedule.
They ask me, and I paid, a price higher than the one at the reservation at Hotels.com
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I had to pay a higher price at check in bc they did not have my reservation from expida which means I paid twice . And can't reach anyone to solve the promblem
