• Eva (7/5): Freundlichkeit super. Außenanlage traumhaft. Suiten ausbaufähig. - Die Lage ist traumhaft. Das Objekt ist sehr schön angelegt. Die Ruhe ist himmlisch. Das Personal ist absolut zuvorkommend. Der Komfort der Juniorsuite hat uns unangenehm überrascht. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist sehr spartanisch. Große Räume und kaum Abstellmöglichkeiten. Viel freie Fläche. Kein Schrank nur eine kleine Kleiderstange im IKEA Style. Ablagen und Möglichkeiten sich auszubreiten eher nicht vorhanden. man lebt aus dem Koffer. Kein Kühlschrank, auf Nachfrage hat man uns dann schnell und unkompliziert einen besorgt. Positiv. Wundert mich das dies vorher noch keiner angemerkt hat.

• Kirsten (9/5): Tolles Anwesen und schöner Blick, einmaliges Erlebnis aber gibt noch andere schönes Unterkünfte ;-) - Das Anwesen und der Blick auf den See, die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter (insbesondere die junge Dame morgens beim Frühstück) Schön angelegter Garten und Pool (konnten wir leider noch nicht nutzen) Für den Preis wäre ein bisschen mehr Ausstattung auf dem Zimmer (Kosmetiktücher, Bodylotion, etc. angemessen - man darf nichts vergessen) Zur Begrüßung wurde ein Glas Wein oder ähnliches angeboten, hätte etwas mehr sein können (genau abgemessen) Anreise etwas beschwerlich da unbefestigete Straße, wenn Autos entgegen kommen geht das rangieren los

• Antonia (8/5): Comfortable Stay - Prati Palai has lots of character and heritage. The views over Lake Garda are beautiful as are the gardens with vines and olive trees and the pool. We enjoyed their gorgeous rose wine and delicious olive oil. The bed was comfortable and the towels and linens good quality. There was a good selection of local produce for breakfast. The staff were friendly and attentive too. The location meant that without a car it was a long hilly walk to town which included having to walk along quite a busy road - a bit scary in the dark! They do warn you about this. We had heavy rain on a couple of days and got soaked. A shuttle to town would have been great. We had a kettle in the room but no cups or tea and coffee or water. This would have been nice to have as we had to buy water from the honesty bar. Some robes would have added a nice touch and fridge for the room.
• waeder (10/5): Unser neuer Geheimtipp am Gardasee - Die Lage von Prati Palai ist wunderschön, man hat den Gardasee vor sich, ist zwar etwas vom Zentrum entfernt, aber dafür himmlisch ruhig. Die Anlage gepflegt und traumhaft, das Zimmer in dem wir waren groß, hell, es war alles da was man braucht der Ausblick auf See und Garten. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und der Service wie der Empfang sehr freundlich und nett. Wir kommen sicher wieder.
• Myrtha (10/5): Eine tolle Überraschung in Bardolino - Überaus sympathischer Empfang durch den Besitzer mit wertvollen Informationen, Adressen und einem Espresso. Traumhafte Panoramalage mit Seesicht und riesigem Umschwung inmitten von Olivenbäumen und Reben. Wir haben sogar Rebhühner gesehen. Grosszügige, komfortabel eingerichtete Suite. Bequemes Bett mit luftiger, blütenweisser Bettwäsche. Leckeres Frühstück, das am Sitzplatz unter Olivenbäumen oder drinnen eingenommen werden kann. Unser Hund durfte sich überall frei bewegen. Die erste Eindruck und die Lage im Grünen war dermassen beeindruckend, dass wir unseren Aufenthalt spontan verlängerten. Der Vino Rosato aus eigener Kelterung schmeckte köstlich. Olivenöl aus eigener Produktion kann an der Reception erworben werden. Zur Kühlung des Hundefutters wurde uns im Zimmer extra ein Frigo zur Verfügung Es gibt keine Kritikpunktr

• Matthijs (9/5): Fantastisch verblijf, mooi uitzicht, zeer ruime hotelkamers en erg vriendelijk personeel. - Personeel was heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Je kunt ze goed vragen over tips en tours in de omgeving. Het ontbijt was heel erg lekker. Ook hebben wij 1x geluncht op locatie, wat onze verwachting overtrof, verse pasta, echt super! De hotelkamer was zeer ruim, heerlijk bed en grote badkamer. Wij miste een mini koelkastje op de hotelkamer. Gelukkig hadden wij een koelbox waar wij onze drankjes koud konden houden. Je kon wel 24/7 gekoelde dranken bij de receptie kopen, daar stond wel een koelkast.

The staff were so friendly and helpful and would do anything for you. Very interesting to learn about the surrounding area and wine production. Couldn’t fault it at all, we can’t wait to stay again. Nothing, we loved everything.

• Peter -Christel (9/5): Prachtige omgeving met een hele mooie accommodatie en super vriendelijk personeel. - Prachtige omgeving met uitzicht op het meer, heel vriendelijke en behulpzaam personeel. Goed en lekker ontbijt voor elke wat wils. Mooie kamer met uitzicht over het meer ook heel goede airco en zalig bed. rustig kunnen vertoeven aan het zwembad met een boek en ook weer prachtig uitzicht over het meer. Wij hadden onze hond teckel bij en deze was ook heel welkom. Ik raad deze accommodatie zeker aan als je rustig en ontspannen vakantie wilt. Ook het mooie stadje Bardolino is goed bereikbaar. Wij hebben een super fijne vakantie gehad in Prati Palei. Een klein ijskastje op de kamer.

• Helen (10/5): A relaxing stay in a deluxe property. We never wanted to leave - This is an amazing place. A retreat away from the busyness of Bardolino but close enough to walk down. Everything was perfect. The room, the breakfast, the grounds and especially the staff who were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. They booked restaurants, arranged taxis, accommodated my intolerances, even made a chocolate cake for my daughter’s 18th. This is such a special place.

The rooms are very comfortable and spacious with beautiful views over Lake Garda. With only eight rooms it feels intimate and the owner and staff were fantastic at making our stay memorable! Nothing it was all lovely!

Liked it all, what could have made it better is having a mini fridge in the room to keep food as limited food available after breakfast at the hotel.

• Roxan (10/5): Exceptional - A truly hidden gem nestled in the hills above Bardolino. Very friendly staff, spectacular views, and really good breakfast. The Pool is amazing. We felt very welcome and enjoyed some calm relaxing days - we will definitely come back! Nothing!

• Lewis (10/5): Serene stay atop Garda - Amazing views, friendly & helpful staff, quiet romantic location. Even our taxi driver from Verona stood and took in the views before leaving. Breakfast simple yet delicious. The pool was sublime and the lunches from their garden were lovely. Located on a steep hill so taxis or driving are a must - but the views it provides are worth it.

Discovered that it was near to several really nice restaurants within flat walking distance.Huge bed, comfortable and good quality linen. Amazing roll top bath in room, but water was cold on occasion tried to fill it. Couldn’t see point of kettle in room as no cup, tea /coffee was supplied.Small fridge in the room would have been great. We had to check out before breakfast at 8 am and it might be an idea for anyone who has to do this to be given something for the journey. Lack of signage when we arrived, where to park, reception etc.

Cannot recommend highly enough on all areas. Fantastic honesty bar with wonderful rose, lovely areas to chill out and wonderful grounds with great walks from right outside the drive. Stunning area and views. Would definitely visit again as great location for the area and Lake Garda. Nothing. We loved everything about this place.

Owner is very nice and attentive, booked us a boat which was a very fun experience and was able to accommodate lunch on our first day which was really nice Breakfast could be improved with more regional products and fresh bread and juices. Also after 20h the common areas of the hotel are closed.

• Caroline (10/5): - We stayed at Prati Palai as part of our honeymoon, and it was everything! You can feel the attention to detail, the guests, and Bardolino culture. Our Jr. Suite was a massive size, which was perfect as we experienced some rain. We preferred to walk down to Bardolino and to other towns as well, but with plenty of parking, I know many guests drove and came and went. It truly was a relaxing and bucket list experience.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Wunderschönes großzügiges Grundstück (18 Hektar!) oberhalb von Bardolino mit Blick auf den Gardasee. Das Haus wurde mit sicherer Hand restauriert und zum kleinen Hotel umgebaut. Ein sehr leckeres Frühstück mit Obst und gutem Aufschnitt erwartet einen jeden Morgen. Das Personal ist sehr umsichtig und unaufdringlich freundlich. Es gibt nichts zu kritteln, was erwähnenswert wäre.

Das Frühstuck war sehr gut und die schöne Lage mit den Olivenbäumen mit Blick auf den See haben es perfekt gemacht. • David (10/5): tranquil, farmhouse style retreat. - Lovely relaxed atmosphere with very friendly hosts. Extensive continental breakfast and fresh fruit available throughout the day. There are minimal rooms so it's an exceedingly tranquil place to stay overlooking Lake Garda. Plenty of sun loungers and a pool to cool off in. There is an excellent honesty bar with a good selection at really reasonable prices (€14 bottle of prosecco) Lots of parking if you drive. The walk to Bardolino is about 35mins downhill but probably warrants a taxi back. A few really authentic restaurants within 15mins walk as well. Wouldn't hesitate to return!

Very friendly and helpful owners/staff, they help with recommendations, booking taxis etc. Although they only run bed and breakfast, they will put together a delicious lunch for you upon request for you to enjoy on the terrace with the view of Bardolino! Bardolino is full of wonderful restaurants. I would only recommend walking to town if you’re able, the hills can be quite challenging. Very relaxed accommodation, you are left to your own devices. I would definitely go here again!
• Michael (10/5): Absolutely Perfect! - Prati Palai was absolutely incredible and truly a standout from our trip to Italy. The rooms are simple in decor, but elegant and comfortable. We stayed in a suite and had more than enough room for two. Plus, the view from our room was amazing! The grounds of Prati are stunning, and we were in awe the whole time. On the property, there are lots of olive trees, as well as lemon trees and pomegranate trees, which create a really unique ambiance. They even have a hammock nestled in the olive trees which was wonderful to relax in. The pool is fantastic, with a great view. Breakfast was delicious, with meats, cheeses, breads, fruits, eggs, coffee, tea and juice. If you like, the staff will make you a light lunch of salads or sandwiches. We had this a couple times and it was great, and we ate by the small tables overlooking the lake. Prati Palai is very peaceful, and tucked away. It's perfect for a couples vacation. The staff at Prati are so friendly and helpful, and felt like friends by the end of our stay. We are already planning on how we can get back to Prati in the future. This place is 10 stars!

• carol (8/5): A home/not a hotel - This is a 'country home' in Italy with a fantastic view of Lake Guarda and the hills terraced with grape vines. We enjoyed the peace of the setting while being close to Bardolino village. The owner treated us like guests in his home.

The only suggestion for improvement would be to offer cooked breakfast upon request, we would be even happy to pay extra for it. We will most definitely come back soon.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Would go back in a minute - This hotel/guesthouse is up there with the best places I have ever stayed. Nothing is too much for the staff there who were extremely friendly and helpful for our first visit to the area. They have plenty of recommendations for things to do around the lake. The hotel has only been open for a couple of years following a renovation. From the communal areas to our room it looked amazing. The pictures don't do it justice! There is not a restaurant as such, but staff are very accomodating in providing salads, antipasti etc for light lunch options. Given the view from the pool, it is a bit of a walk to get to Bardlino town. Hotel staff provide details of a taxi company who can provide transfers to/from Bardolino, or parking at the main street if you hire a car. Overall, this hotel is amazing. The views are incredible, and everything this hotel does, it does very well. Its a very relaxing environment and I couldn't recommend it enough.
• Amy (10/5): Wonderful stay in a stunning location - Wonderful stay in a stunning location. Very relaxing. About a 20 min walk to the town but much more difficult going back as its uphill! Be mindful that taxis Into Bardolino are approx €15 each way if you don't want to walk. Worth staying up in the hills for the beautiful views. Would definitely return.
• Imo (10/5): Our favourite stay, incredible views of the lake - Greeted by the lovely owner Dominico and his porter. Prati Palai lies on the top of a hill which gives you spectacular views of lake Garda and the surrounding area. Such a peaceful and relaxing location, the room was very spacious and comfortable, loved the shower! We rented bicycles from the hotel and explored the nearby towns. Looking forward to coming back, thank you for such a wonderful stay :)

• Katy (10/5): A slice of heaven on Lake Garda - My new husband and I enjoyed a perfect three days at Prati Palai this week at the end of our honeymoon. From the moment we were welcomed in, to the moment we left, we were cared for so well - both in terms of the suite and facilities, and also by Domenico and the other staff. After sumptuous breakfasts on the terrace overlooking the countryside and Lake Garda, we mostly hit the pool - despite having plans to visit Verona and go out on a boat on the lake, we were so hooked with Prati Palai that we hardly left during the day (apart from moving to swim by the lido one afternoon!). Each evening we took a cab into the centre of Bardolino, to Lazise, or to San Vigilio (based on very good recommendations from our host) for dinner. We have already recommended Prati Palai to friends, and we can't wait to go back ourselves. I lost count of the times we gleefully laughed to ourselves in the pool 'this is heaven!'
• Allison (10/5): Tranquil setting amongst the olive trees. - Fantastic and yet simple design surrounds you in scrumptious suites. Linen fabulous. Beds wonderfully comfortable. The setting of this state of the art farmhouse is stunning. The track leading upto the hotel is bumpy in places, so be prepared! Breakfast, albeit fine, lacked a little of the thought and content of the rest of the package. All in all, a super place to be ......
