- Dmitriy (10/5): - Excellent accommodations and communication from the hosts. Great nature around the lodge. N/A
- Aldridge (9/5): -
- edith (10/5): - L acceuil des proprietaires
Les petits dejeuners, un delice. Bravo Mickaela .
Les proprietaires parlent l Allemand, ce qui etait un + pour nous, vu que notre Anglais est plutot moyen. Rien
- Brad (9/5): Very nice place to stay enjoyed the two nights we were there and the breakfast was wonderful - Location was beautiful room was very nice very clean. Breakfast was good. Somewhat cluttered around the house, their home on the outside, very politically opinionated
- Michael (10/5): Very nice hosts, would recommend 👍🏻 - Cleanliness, location.
- Richard (9/5): Great hosts, great breakfast and clean/comfortable rooms - The rooms were clean and comfortable. It’s a bit outside of town but that didn’t really matter all that much to us.
- Lorraine (10/5): - Breakfast was great!
- Fabio (9/5): -
Ruhige Lage in wunderschöner Landschaft. Keine Beanstandungen.
- Michael (10/5): Perfect B&B 😎👍 -
- Bob (10/5): - Wonderful view.
- tom (10/5): - place was perfect great hosts comfy rooms and excellent views and quiet a great stay
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nathaniel (6/5): - Friendly hosts. Amazing and filling breakfast!!
Cute reading room.
The walls are very thin. Could hear the conversations that all other people in the house were having very clearly.
My first time staying at a B & B. Didn't have much expectations. The room and property feels like you're staying in the basement room of a friend's house. It's not bad but for the price, I'd stay at one of the hotels in town next time.
- Gerald (10/5): - Michela was such a wonderful host, and the breakfasts were amazing! Happy to recommend this stay!
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Brian (8/5): If we are in the area again, we would stay here. - The room and bed were very comfortable. The night was quiet and serene. Breakfast was simply amazing. We liked the downstairs sitting room. The hosts were very approachable. We really appreciated the mountain view. It is quite a drive into town.
- Thabea (10/5): - Beautiful B&B in stunning location with very friendly and accommodating host and delicious hand cooked breakfast. And he hot tub was an extra treat!
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic breakfast, charming hosts, beautiful view! Quiet and peaceful 10 or 15 minutes to restaurants
- Ralph (9/5): Beautiful views, comfy garden, delicious home cooked breakfast - Very clean and comfortable. Guest comfy room and fridge, tea /coffee facilities and cookies. Spacious beautifully decorated room(wildlife Room) very spacious bathroom. Use of BBQ and beautiful garden, views of glacier. Fabulous breakfast cooked by Michaela. Very friendly hosts Some photographs on Booking.com show people in a hot tub, although this is not mentioned in the information! There was a hot tub but this is for private use not guests.
- Lynda (8/5): Gorgeous view - Being able to sit outside and enjoy The view of Hudson Bay mt was unbelievable
- Sebastian (10/5): Exceptional - I could not ask more of a B&B. Everything you can reasonably expect is provided in the roon and (shared) lounge/kitchen. Although not all rooms have a direct view of the glacier, you can pop outside and sit on the patio to enjoy the breathtaking mountain panorama. Helmut and Michaela are amazing hosts. They have plenty of useful tips in store, plus many an entertaining story. We felt quite at home at Silvern Lake B&B and hope we can come back one day!
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional! - Exceptional stay. Beautiful appointed. Great Breakfast. Kind hosts.
- Rachelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Garry (8/5): Very good -

- Ricci (10/5): Wonderful retreat! - The bed and breakfast was very comfortable, clean, and accommodating. Rioters provided a scrumptious breakfast, following request and preferences of the guests. With great conversation and anecdotes of the area. Definitely recommend!
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Spacious and comfortable accommodation. Very attentive host. Lovely breakfast. The accommodation is in the countryside outside the town - great views of the mountains and forest. We were only staying overnight but it looked like there were some great walks nearby. The accommodation is a little way from the town. You definitely need a car to get into town
- Douwette (10/5): Definitely coming back! - Breathtaking views, friendly and engaging host, delicious breakfast. N/A
- Eytan (6/5): Ok - The house surroundings of glacier view, forest and wildlife is really wonderful however our room was very small, the private bethroom was very close but not in the room and the breakfast was ok but in very strict timeframe 8:00 sharp. The overall experience was ok but not amazing as expected from the high rating and cost
- Robert (7/5): A good place to stay if you want peace and quiet. - Quiet location out of town. Very neat and clean. Nice mountain room, Good breakfast. Shared bathroom. Relatively expensive.
- Jessica (10/5): - Michaela is a great host and very accommodating. Recommend staying here.
- Hermann Fernandes (10/5): - In the woods with an amazing view of Hudson Bay Mountain and it’s glacier. 10 minutes from downtown
- Charles (10/5): - Beautiful home and location with lovely mountain views. Guest rooms and common area were in the basement which was clean and cozy. Breakfast was delicious! Worthwhile to note the private bathroom with the mountain view room was upstairs away from the bedroom. Slippers and housecoats were provided. Great stay!
- Mark (10/5): Through our travels we have stayed at many locations, but this by far was the best. - The breakfast was wonderful-fresh waffles with fresh fruit. Although the location was outside of the town you were rewarded with a beautiful view of the glacier. The owners were very gracious and we enjoyed visiting with them as well as the other guests. Have no complaints.
- Florence (10/5): - Absolutely amazing view of the mountains from the front yard. Impeccably clean and neat. Owners helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was amazing.
- Hill (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeremiah (8/5): Very good - Room was very clean. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in on a trip, and amazing views.
- Lance (10/5): - We LOVED staying at this B & B. We stayed on our way to our destination & on our way home. Quite simply, it was comforting returning to our hosts cozy offerings after our adventures. We were greeted by our hosts Michaela & Helmut, with welcoming smiles & good information re: our stay. They were the perfect blend of friendliness and privacy; whatever it is you prefer during your stay. They offer an impeccably kept property & also there's a nice road to go for walks & fresh air under the glacier in the distance. Breathtaking. Twin Falls is nearby which is beautiful. Our room, with a view of the glacier, was cozy & clean as a whistle...as well as our appointed bathroom. We had room to stretch out & contemplate our day in a common tv room. Our breakfasts were beyond: Michaela makes the BEST Eggs Benedict we have EVER tasted & served it with color and intrigue. We ended up having lovely chats, finishing up with the notion it is fascinating how people end up meeting one another & enjoying as new friends. The value of this experience is there folks; this is a B & B that treats you with value, respect & care - as evidenced by the spotlessly clean environment & carefully prepared food. We hope to return one day & enjoy all the gifts Michaela & Helmut offer their guests.
- Marlene (10/5): - A great experience! Awesome job.
- Onno (9/5): very friendly people and an excellent location - excellent breakfast , very nice wafels with a lot of fresh fruit and good coffee.
- Vince (8/5): Very good -
- Joel (10/5): - Thanks for the great stay! The morning views of Hudson Bay mountain were spectacular, the breakfast and accommodations were very good and the hosts were very friendly.
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maureen (8/5): Very good - Wonderful location of the property overlooking mountains and glacier. Close to twin falls walk. Breakfast was lovely. Owners were very friendly. We were the only ones staying for the night. Sharing a bathroom but as we were the only ones staying for the night, this was no problem.
- Sandra (9/5): It was a great experience - This property is in a beautiful setting and the owner is so nice.
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Rainer (7/5): In some ways a pleasant surprise. Hospitality was professional but not particularly warm. - The breakfast was attractively presented and ready for us at 7:30 AM.
The view of the mountain and glacier were beautiful For breakfast no options were offered. Eg: a protein rich choice rather than a high carbohydrate choice (waffles) would have served us better on a long road trip ahead. There was an unusual odour in the bathroom, and no fan was surprising. At least we couldn't locate one.
The B&B location was difficult to find.
- Matheus (10/5): - She realy helped us. We booked two rooms. One for us and one for our brother inlaw. She had only got the papers for the one room. She was so good to give us her own spare room. THANK YOU.
- Carrie (10/5): Exceptional - All of it! Wish we could have arrived earlier in the day and stayed longer the next morning. Lovely glacier view and property. The hosts are lovely people, too!
- Ai-ning (10/5): Super relaxing! - The bedroom is very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious! I love the view from the yard!
- Mike (10/5): Stay here if you can, it’s terrific! - This is a top notch B&B. Michaela came out to greet us as we arrived and showed us around, introducing us to
her family en-route. the room was clean and well equipped. the garden had furniture where we relaxed and
chatted to other guests whilst checking out the view of the glacier. Breakfast was an amazing mix of fruit
atop a giant waffle with endless fresh coffee. a truly memorable stay. There was nothing to dislike. The property was a little difficult to find at first but there were plenty of signs to
guide us. We went into town for an evening meal. Smithers is lovely.
- Olaf (2/5): - We booked and a day later the B&B cancelled on us. Offering to arrive two days later. Ridiculous! I told Expedia to forget about it, the whole thing turned into a mess. At the end we were even charged. One night at the B&B without being there for about 230 Can$. Thanks a lot.
- Paolo (10/5): perfect stay in Smithers, far away from city noise, a special experience for us - kindness, hospitality, friendship everything’s was perfect
- Jan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aileen (10/5): - The breakfast was delicious. The glacier view was spectacular!
- Benny (10/5): - Great owners and stay
- Jodie (10/5): - Nice and comfortable, beautiful area, nice drive to the property from the highway - easy to find. Delicious breakfast, a very lovely stay. Excellent host. Highly recommend staying there.
- Emily (10/5): - Wonderful environment, the hostess is so kind and friendly. Amazing breakfast.
- Colleen (10/5): - Amazing view & delicious waffles for breakfast, along with great conversation with the other couple that was there & the owners. This was my favourite stay on our 11 day trip!
- Tyrus (10/5): - Friendly
- Dominic (10/5): - Outstanding all around, been twice within few weeks and will go back to this beautiful place any time
- johanna (10/5): - Hosts are fabulous
View is breath taking
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very quite place
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic! Would give these guys 6 stars out of 5. Definitely worth a visit and a lot nicer then a hotel!
- Howard (8/5): Pleasant Surprise - A short drive from downtown Smithers, but a very pleasant surprise! Wonderful view of the local mountains. Great location for a peaceful walk / hike. Terrific breakfast in the morning with plenty of fresh, hot coffee!
- JimC (10/5): - As I said in their guest book, we checked in as guests and left as friends. Michaela and Helmut were gracious hosts and we enjoyed a very long and delightful conversation at breakfast. Our comfrtable room had a fabulous view.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had a very nice stay. Our room was very cozy and comfortable the staff and breakfast was really good I would for sure stay here again thank you
- Jim (10/5): - Very nice property with a great view. Definitely a better option than hotels.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice folk and is great place to stay through Canada.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very quiet, good bed, tasty breakfast. It’s a few minutes from Smithers, but that adds to the charm. Watching a glacier while relaxing on the patio was a plus.
- Tracey (10/5): Clean with a beautiful view. - Such a peaceful setting and very clean accommodations. Michaela went above and beyond making us a yummy breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Rustic location, gorgeous views - Friendly owners and a very nice location is you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy nature.
- Robert (10/5): Great place to stay!!! - Everything was fantastic from the moment we arrived until we left after staying an unplanned extra second night. Definitely worth it!!! Thank you Mikaela for a lovely breakfast and peaceful visit. Bob and D'Arcy
- Stef (10/5): Amazing B&B in a small town - I got a very warm welcome. the rooms are very clean and artfully decorated. Each room has its own theme. The breakfast was extremely delicious. It was very good money. The best accommodation in Smithers.
- Catherine (10/5): Perfect! - Room was adorable! I was lucky for the time of year I was there because I got to have a bathroom to myself. The view of the mountains was incredible! I only got to meet one host but he was very kind, nice to talk to and very accomodating. The breakfasts were wonderful also! Home cooked breakfasts served right to the table. A beautiful home surrounded by beautiful nature. I'd come back to Smithers just to stay here again.
- Ed (10/5): - Extremely pleasant 2 night stay we were treated like family and told of things to see and places to see and places to eat recommend this as a great place to stay . Will try to stay here again if we return to area
- Edward (10/5): Where to stay in Smithers. - Great people, great place. I'd certainly stay there again.
- Dwain (10/5): - This B & B was wonderful. Beautiful location, wonderful hosts.
- Anna-Lena (8/5): Mycket bra B&B - Mycket god frukost.
