• robert (10/5): Best Motel 6 ever - My experience is motel 6 is always friendly. The free pets always welcome policy makes this the only place I will consider while traveling with my dog. But this one in particular was fantastic. Great service, very clean, no strange smells. Completely fantastic!

• Jaime (4/5): - The room was neatly kept but there were alot of flies. The pull out couch had stained sheets and the couch itself had stains. The couch cover had holes in it. There seemed to be long term people staying there as well. Up all hours of the night. We were only supposed to be there 6 hours but didnt get too mich sleep. There was a dog barking all night as well that kept us up. The lady at check in was nice. So check in was the nicest part.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Don’t stay here - The one star reviews are from people traveling down the highway who need a place to crash for the night. The 5 star reviews are for people who seem to live here for a spell. The rooms smell like smoke and are pretty gross and dated. That said, the bed was clean, the ac worked well enough and there was hot water in the shower.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Oh My!!! - It was frightening. I made the reservation trusting that Hotels.com would have checked the place out. I discovered it was transient housing with very poor up keep. The staff was very friendly but the facility was very run down and scarey. I didn’t stay once I saw the property and room. The had blue bulbs in the lights and smelled off. I left and found other accommodations where I felt safe.

Our room was filthy, the lamp didn’t have a lamp shade, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned, the ceiling had brown clumps of something on it. There were crayon marks on the walls. The sink didn’t have hot water. The floors were disgusting. I will NEVER stay there again.

• Jessica (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE - DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE OTHER REVIEWS! After reading the reviews, I thought this place looked clean and safe for a weekend spent with my two teenage daughters. I checked in for a 3 night stay on Thursday evening. While entering our second story, exterior door room, we noticed groups of men sitting outside of their rooms on old couches and chairs drinking beer. (I was told later that a construction company rents out the rooms in that building for their workers to stay for months at a time) Upon entering the room, we noticed that it was very dirty. There were hairs left in the sink and bathroom along with trash that was not thrown away, and the mirrors were not even cleaned. The entire room was extremely run down. The extra locks on the exterior door were also broken. We stayed for 10 minutes and left, because it did not feel safe in any way to stay here!! I called and emailed the following morning to request a partial refund since we only used the room for 10 minutes. I called back Monday morning because I did not receive a response, and I was told that no refunds would be given for game weekend.
• Jessica (2/5): - We came in late and had to stay the night, but upon arrival and battling the flies and trying to adapt to the smoke smells, we cancelled the rest of our stay. We initially couldn’t find anything open in Manhattan and knew we needed something! And knew we’d be in very late— but this was completely unacceptable.
• john (2/5): - Maybe close to worst room conditions I have ever seen and I am 81 years old.. I was moderately pressured to pay before seeing room. The carpet had been removed and a coating was on the floor. The sink had fly's and was not cleaned. The tub was unfit to step in. The toilet lid when I opened fly's flew out. My wife would not enter room. Manager tried to show us another room after she said they were sold out. We booked a room at Hampden Inn close by with no problem. I expect a full refund from Grand View Plaza Inn.
• philip (2/5): - The pictures on the website/app aren’t current. I would guess they are 20+ years old. The first mistake by us was opening the door, which didn’t work with the key, and it was mostly broken. Once we opened the door, the stench of the room was horrendous. It was completely dirty and looked as if our room had been part of a crime scene multiple times. Terrible!!! Don’t stay here.
• Verified traveler (2/5): - Cannot believe hotels.com has the motel listed as an option on its site. It was tilthy. We checked into our room and left immediately causing us to have to purchase another hotel room somewhere else. There were bugs crawling on the floor and mold in the shower. It felt very unsafe.

• Max (4/5): Total Rip Off - It was a rip off. They jacked up prices due to a local event and a scarcity of rooms in the area, but it was not well kept. There were stains on multiple places, everything was rundown, and the deadbolt didn’t work. This room should be $35 a night max. They were charging considerably more. 0/10 recommend it to anyone.

I would stay there again because of the friendly service and attitude she provided. Wish I remembered her name but she worked on Friday June 9th and 10th when I left.
• Kelly (6/5): - We stayed there because of all the recent positive reviews. Yes the rooms were big and freshly painted. However, the beds were hard, the pillows uncomfortable, the door did not shut properly, we had cable for 20 minutes then nothing for the rest of the night and all morning. The front office had cable when we went to check out. It was old, ok for one night. BUT we had a lot of equipment and there were only a few plugins on one side of the room. This was in our room keep in mind. The shower was newly installed so it was clean. It was ok for the super cheap price, but we probably won't stay there again. The office guy was super nice and even handed out a snack bag, one for each of us, which was a nice thing to offer the guest.
• Jozlynn (2/5): - Place was disgusting. Door didnt have a dead bolt and its a very run down motel. There was a used condom on the side of the building when i took my dogs to the bathroom. If you like feeling like your car is going to get broken in to then stay here and if not, find somewhere else in Junction City. My wife did not feel safe walking into the room by herself.

• david (6/5): Bed crash - The most bothersome was that the electric plugs were set up so that shutting off the main switch by the door shut off ALL plugs in the room so that I could not charge my computer overnight. Also, the bathroom sink had only a trickle of hot water. The shower was OK. The headboard of the bed fell off during the night, as well.

• April (2/5): - Old motel, which is typically fine, but the room was very dirty. Smelled musty. Sagging ceiling tiles in bathroom. We just left and went to another hotel.

• Rachel (8/5): Comfy bed, friendly staff, just older buildings - The front desk staff were the friendliest of any hotel I've ever stayed at, across the country. The rooms are definitely dated and need a new coat of paint but the beds were actually pretty comfy. The bathroom was not that pretty, we brought issues to their attention. I would totally stay here again though if ever in the area.

They had a bag of goodies too which was quite nice. The place was clean and decent for a nights stay. The place is old and it has an old smell to it, but other than that, perfect for a one night stay.
• VIKASH (4/5): - Very helpful and polite care takers but the facility really needs work. The mattress and pillows were terrible and the sheets were clean but work out. I could have stayed in motel 6 and it would have been cheaper with better facilities.

• Lisa (10/5): - This is an older property that has been renovated and it had what I needed: clean, safe, parked outside my door (motel-style), comfortable bed, quiet, hot shower - a good night's sleep. If you're looking for upscale, this isn't for you. But the lady who checked me in had a terrific dining recommendation (local Italian), and there's a diner right next door ("home grown, old school"). A chance to support the local economy!
