Stanley (2/5): - No working internet; no TV service; non working electrical outlets; torn or rusted chairs on porch; rusted bathroom tub and faucet; dirty porch glass doors; rusted electrical wires ( held by wire nuts)on porch floor, in the rain; even the A/C unit at 62degrees felt like hell. 2 windows covered by drapes/curtains could easily be accessed by any prowler. The attendant on duty even after the situation was brought to her attention offered no assistance. Room 105 was a virtual DUMP. You send someone to check it out for yourself. NO one should have to pay for this kind of service. Now, am I entitled to a refund?

Ray (10/5): Awesome Customer Service - Everything was great. Loved the customer service from all the front desk representatives; all 3 of them were really helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The room was so spacious and the balcony with the view was amazing. Great location near downtown. The only downfall was the WiFi; was unpredictable; didn’t work on my balcony or by the pool and streaming was inconsistent. I think though that this might be an “island thing;” I don’t know.
Kristina (8/5): walkable - We just stayed the night to catch an early ferry. Easy walk to the terminal with backpacks. There was a small market across from the ferry terminal with great coffee & grab and go items.

They made my experience in the bvi unforgettable and i am truly happy i got to experience it. The hotel is truly a scenic get away and is so close to a lot of tourist attractions. Their staff called me cabs, looked out for me and made me feel safe at all times. The room had an exceptional view and the privacy was second to none. A truly warm and comfortable place to be
Donald (4/5): Basic bare room and 2 beds. - Bare bones room. No TV Reception. Meager shower pressure in a slippery tub with a curtain not walk in. Minimal power outlets. Breakfast only 7:00 to 9:00 am.

Verified traveler (4/5): Okay for a night - We needed a room for just one night before our charter trip. It served it's purpose. The hotel has seen better days and is pretty run down. It was a convenient location for us and we did have a place to lay our heads.

However, I have a video that I can send where you can see this pool has not been operable for a long time. Also, they had told me I was going to receive $100 credit because of the issue and during my check in the lady wanted to ripped me off and charge me the full balance I wouldn’t like for anyone else to go through the same horrible experience we went and this hotel should remove the false advertisement they are publishing in Expedia

I don’t mind staying in budget hotels for short periods, as long as they come with budget prices — but we paid ~$200/night for this hotel and I would describe it as the kind of place that should be available for $50/night. At that price I would have thought “OK, it’s dumpy but we’re saving some money.” But this was dumpy and not cheap.

Overpriced breakfast 11$ for 2 English muffins and sliced fruit and coffee, long wait to initiate service, but it’s that kind of island grove. Unique property- Amazing and calming view, Convenient location, and the people, priceless, so Kind and compassionate, well travelled and educated with interesting chat. Black Food truck with BBQ was excellent- located between hotel and hospital. I would stay again-

Helen (4/5): - The room I was given on arrival had a beautiful view of the sea, but it was poorly maintained. It had mould which got me sick. I complained to the front desk about the poor condition of the room. The woman at the front desk was very rude to me. I had to nsist that I wouldn't remain in the room and that I should be given another room. After some hard talks they gave me another room which was cleaner. Because of unclenliness and poor customer service I would not stay at Fort Burt again.

GREGORY (2/5): BE WARNED!! DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!!! - Stayed here and I just want to warn others DONT!!!!! The pics are misleading. The hotel is old and falling apart. Cracks in the wall. Scarce, dirty, mismatched and leaning furniture, water pressure non existent, mirrors dirty, tv doesn't work, no internet, nothing!!! I wont even bother to go to the pool area or inquire about food because I'm legitimately afraid. The audacity of this establishment to charge $250/night with false pictures needs to be reported!!! I repeat do not come here!!!
Robert (6/5): - I thought that the welcome was poor. Only rudimentary information given on chech in. Our room was shabby and badly in need of refitting and decoration. Staff appeared uninterested and poorly motivated. Meals seemed to be provided but there was no menu or timings evident. We thought also that the rates were expensive relative to comparable hotels we had stayed in on our trip to the Virgin Islands. Not great value for money, sadly

PROS -convenient location to town (walkable) -close to delicious eateries -amazing views -quaint, quiet environment -very clean -budget friendly -breakfast onsite is tasty and fresh -Ms Tabitha (staff) is an asset as she worked along with me to create a memorable stay for myself and my partner. Additionally she was very knowledgeable about the island and provided great tips and service. CONS -limited front desk hours -steep, dim or non well-lit paths on property -some fixtures and furnitures are dated - no ice machine - onsite bar area inoperable
Dennis (8/5): - This is actually a bit of a historical site. The staff are lovely and friendly. The breakfast is basic but adequate ( not included). The location is on the edge of Toad Town which was perfect for me as I enjoyed the walk.

The A/C was covered in mold, shower curtains were old, dirty and broken, hairs in the shower and bed, not good water pressure, dirty grout on the floor and shower walls, no amenities, no security, no privacy (balconies without divisions) and super noisy street!

denalda (4/5): - Our room was supposed to be a junior suite. The bedding was old worn, but clean. Wifi was slow. We had a kitchen (?) and had to walk through it to,and a sliding glass door access the bathroom.Roosters start around 4 am There was ZERO water pressure for the shower. It dripped. But the staff was nice and the one choice breakfast was fairly good. It’s a great location if you are renting a charter from Conch charters.

Marc (8/5): Comfortable place! - Very nice room with beautiful view of the bay. Clean and comfortable! Only issue is the Very Low water pressure in the sink and shower. Pretty much a dribble but gets the job done with enough time. Must be a common problem with all the rooms because this was our second stay and had the same issue in the other room as well. The Pub restaurant/bar across the street is good and handy!

Matthew (2/5): Awful customer service. - The hotel is a little run down, but the location is convenient and it has charm. We awoke in the middle of the night to bats in our room. Having worked in medicine for years, this is a serious health concern secondary to rabies. Things happen, I get it. We attempted to call the front desk. Nobody answers any of the phone numbers. An hour of walking around and banging on doors led us to a security guard, who also couldn’t reach anyone. Hours later we finally were able to get a bat free room…. Now this am, we are told nobody can make our stay right or compensate us for being up all night because the manager cannot be called on a Sunday. Awful customer service.

Marjorie and Rufus (8/5): - It was across street from CONCH Charters which we used for our sailing trip. The driveway and steps were not appealing due to our physical limitations. Taxi service had to be employed. No dining service available nor was there an open bar to enjoy drink on balcony. Working WIFI was welcomed. Ice was provided late at night by wonderful women from kitchen? The shower in our room 204 did not have any hot water..both at night or in morning… I am sure more improvements will occur as island recovers from hurricanes and covid impact. The BVI people are welcoming and friendly under these stresses….continued success to BVI in the future.

And no one cares. I think they serve a breakfast but was afraid to eat there. If you need a place for an overnight before a sailing trip and don't mind a rundown dump. Only paid 113$ a night,. If you pay more than that you'll feel cheated.

Dinelle (8/5): - Located in Road Reef - near a small Riteway food market. With local staples Crandalls and The Pub serving food and drinks near by. The property is an affordable getaway. AC is cold, awesome view with dedicated service staff. Time well spent.

Manuel (2/5): Worst hotel I’ve stayed in a long time. - The worst hotel I’ve stayed in a long time. The rooms I booked is not the one I received for a starter. The service of the receptionist was as if I was begging for food, with this awful face and making us feel unwelcome. We asked to split the bill in two cards and she took it like if we had no money to pay and we were making her work so hard. The rooms are of a 1 str hotel and the sheets smell bad. There was trash in the floor. I asked for a cab to go have dinner and they couldn’t ask for one. We had to walk 15 min to get one, I now have the phone that they unbelievably don’t. I’m really not exagerating, this was really a bad experience.

Verified traveler (4/5): Dirty, understaffed, and difficult to get around - Arrived at 9:30pm, met by a security guard who let us in. They didn’t answer the phone ever. The room was dirty—in some ways what you’d expect of an average tropical motel, but also in other ways that made us question whether it had really been cleaned much at all. The bathtub and shower curtain were moldy, dust was everywhere in the room, most light switches were confusing and the light unpleasant. Wire nuts were visible in the bathroom outside of junction boxes (albeit in a safe-ish location). We were worried about bedbugs just because of the overall poor cleanliness of the room and lack of staff, haven’t found any yet though and didn’t see any evidence of any in the room. A/C was adequate and the tv and WiFi worked. The front desk couldn’t hail us a taxi in the morning in time for our ferry. Overall, I’d pay more next time to avoid the hassle.
