- Janet (7/5): Nice folks Very basic - Breakfast??? Drinking glasses and products lacking
- Jaime (1/5): Won’t stay here again - Nothing Nothing WiFi or tv
- Warren (7/5): OK for me, I am not sure that, not sure my wife would have liked it - it was Quiet and in a decent location info about the room was not uo to date
- Roger (8/5): Friendly and accommodating people. - No breakfast, no coffee. Just a coffee/creamer office setup would be great
- Tammi (6/5): -
- Francisco (1/5): -
- Anthony (10/5): - Location cleanliness staffing affordable
- Rafal (9/5): I recommend to stay in this motel. - The town for short stay. However very friendly manager. He advised to get a stroll for the plaza where you can find the relic of one of the forst atomic bomb. Good design of rooms. There was a coffee maker in the room.
- docco (4/5): Questionable accommodation for the price. - Room appearance.
Good beds. 2 dead roaches in walk-in shower.
1 live roach was able to crawl in under door.
No deadbolt.
Shower did not heat up.
- Kitty (8/5): - Everything I need for an overnight stay, at a great price.
- Paul (7/5): - This motel continues to be our go-to in Socorro. The room itself is fresh and spacious and the price is good. Unlike in previous stays here, the bathroom in this room, while fully functional, needed some attention. The tub was clean but badly stained, the light switch outlet was pulling off the wall and some plaster was cracking.

- Miguel (10/5): - El estacionamiento Todo bien
- Berry (3/5): - Ok to sleep. Needs updates bad
- Verna L (1/5): The price you gave me was NOT what we paid, they put us in a corner with NO parking,$15 dollar dog - A place to park
- Robert (1/5): Uncomfortable situation with family living as part of the office. - No ice machine. Get ice from the residence of staff that lived there with their kids as part of the office. Not open in the morning to get coffee and no coffee in room.
- Jonathan (10/5): Great value for visiting the area birding sites. - Don’t let the outside fool you. Room was updated, clean and comfortable. Lots of space. Room had cooking area but no dishes, pans or silverware. Seems like this should be included since they went the expense to install a kitchen area it should have a few furnishings. I wasn’t expecting this so it didn’t impact my experience.
- Sherrlyn (8/5): Will definitely consider staying there next time we travel west. - Clean and convenient No grab bars in the bathroom or shower. No place to hang robe in bathroom. No smoke detector and there was no cover where a ceiling light fixture had been. We went over these concerns with the young lady running the motel. The facility is going thru a management change and up grading the rooms. Sweet people and they will get there.
- John (6/5): OK for the price - Their sign out front was not illuminated. Made it hard to see when arriving in evening. Had to go up and down street a few times to find it. Remode4led room
- Cynthia (9/5): Comfortable bed and great space. - Very nice room and not what I expected compared to the outside of the building No telephone, desk with no chair, no closet, stovetop, but no cookware.
- Kevin (8/5): Everything was fine - No breakfast
- Frances (8/5): -
- George (8/5): - Clean, kept well, quiet off highway location, nice staff It's dated, but frankly it was clean and perfectly fine so I can't really say anything was unlikable
- evalyn (7/5): Would stay again - Good value; quiet Old towels and torn shower curtain but no big deal.
- Sarah (7/5): Simple accommodations for the right price. - Across the street there was a local coffee shop that made me happy. My visit was colored by a "check engine " light that came on 30 miles outside of Socorro after 6pm. I found a great garage the next morning on the south end of town but I didn't sleep well that night. When I had trouble with the TV, the office immediately came over and fixed the problem. Nice people. It is a very basic room but what I expected for the price.
- Guillermo (8/5): -
- Paul (9/5): - I thought this motel was pretty darn good last time I came through Socorro....and I still do! Clean, spacious, comfortable, good lighting, fresh. I'll be back again. No problems.
- Mary (10/5): - Very nice upon check-in. Got in late. Got in late, the room was huge, has a kitchenette but plates were still wrapped from packing...but for the price, abd the fact we just wanted a clean bed and bathroom...it delivered and we have nothing bad to say about the place.
- Suzanne (3/5): Will not stay again. - Run down. Coffee maker in room didn’t work.
- Murray (9/5): - Fully equipped room. Small cook top, refrigerator, microwave, excellent lighting. Even had a kitchen sink along with the usual bathroom sink. No place to hang up clothing.
- Boynton (9/5): -
- Suzanne (10/5): - Clean, great value, friendly staff
- Matthew (1/5): I would not stay again - Nice bed Had no bathing towels
- Constanze (9/5): Gutes Hotel für einen guten Preis. - Die Zimmer waren sauber und normal geräumig.
Die Betten waren groß und bequem. Personal war freundlich. Preis-Leistung stimmte.
Frühstück gab es auch. Es gab nichts auszusetzen.
Wir waren rundum zufrieden.
- Denise (2/5): - Our stay here was not great.
- Susan (8/5): -
- Grace (9/5): Adequate for the price and location. -
- Heredia (7/5): -
- Virginia (7/5): Perfectly nice, rather more expensive than other similar, or indeed better motels we stayed in. Possibly because there - Very friendly proprietor. Nice large room. Convenient location. Curtains didn’t close easily - had to climb up on chair and hook them up to block out the light.
- Ladyko (8/5): -
- Sandra (7/5): -
- Rose (10/5): -
- Maggie (7/5): - Location was good. Needs blackout curtains for the windows.
- James (3/5): We were obligated so we stayed not a comfortable night - No Continental Breakfast Mold in bathroom. Microwave did not work.
- MARIAORTIZ9369 (1/5): - Las almohadas estaban aceptables Mucho ruido y la persona que nos resivio muy mal educada
- Horn (1/5): - Not mush The bugs drity bath tùb small towels and thin
- Maria (10/5): - Enjoyed my stay!
- Carla (8/5): Very good -
- Brenda (9/5): Superb -
- Neal (8/5): Nice enough motel - The beds were great, the water pressure in the shower was good. The A/C worked well, and was easy to use. The toilet-paper was high-quality, better than I've seen in rooms I've paid over three times as much for. The room was comfortable, and the price was right. There were a couple of roaches in the sink and the bathroom, however... If that's not a deal-breaker for you, then San Miguel Inn is a great option!
- Argo (1/5): Bad -
- Charlotte (1/5): Bad - Would never stay there again. Beds looked slept in. Bathroom felt dirty. Photos on line were NOTHING like what we got!
- Marco (10/5): - Stay was fine. Lower cost hotel if you want to save money. Nothing but the basics.
- Jonathan (2/5): - Do yourself a favor and keep going...
Front desk nice. Relatively quiet. Conveniet. Very good water pressure in shower.
Filthy. Very outdated. Very worn. Black mold in several area , Multiple cigarette burns worn out linen and blankets, Sained wash clothes. Old. Nasty(in and out).
Honestly, It should be reported, condemned and shut down. It's a health hazard.
Simply put, it shouldn't even be offered on Expedia or anywhere else... It's a hard NO! Keep going!
We have visited to many places around including 3rd world countries as missionaries and this is at the very bottom....
- Gretchen (7/5): Good - The staff that checked me in was wonderful. The room had peeling wallpaper.
The door didn't feel secure.
- Eduardo (9/5): Superb -
- Katherine Anne (2/5): - Absolutely horrible, the smell of urine was so strong and hen we first got there I almost threw up. It is a residential motel. Only gave it one star because it was the lowest option. Please read all reviews. Some must be from family or friends. No way anyone would truly rate this place a 10
- Kevin (6/5): Disappointing stay. The room needed some improvement and outside areas not inviting. - Comfortable bed. No ice machine. Bath surround disgusting. Stairwell dirty. Room decoration shabby and poor.
- Thompson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zachary (1/5): Bad -
- Istvan (10/5): - Very large rooms.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Everything about the room is fine except the toilet is very very short and hard to get up from.
- Ernest (6/5): An old motel in upgrade process - some crucial details sadly lacking -
- Heidi (10/5): Wonderful stay - Great stay. Outside isn’t much to look at, but our room appeared to be recently renovated. It was very nice. Customer service was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
- Nancy (8/5): - The price was very good so it was simple. Nothing fancy, not even a coffee maker. Apparently they have been renovating. The owners are very nice. It's close to many things in a small town. They didn't give me all the correct info for getting on the internet so I had to go to the office but they were very nice.
- Robert (8/5): Nice place to stay - Nice room. recently updated. Good quality soap and shampoo. The mattress was a little hard. Overall a nice room.
- Julia (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Rob (6/5): - It is well used and older but my room was clean, my bed was comfortable and the location is great for a highway stopover
- Paul (9/5): Superb - This place is an economical gem. The parking lot is just 'ordinary motel', but inside the rooms are clean, spacious, nicely decorated and nicely furnished. Very comfortable.
- Rick (8/5): Very good - Good value. Big room. Pretty comfortable bed. Fairly quiet. Parking by room. Good strong hot shower.
- Empire (10/5): Amazing for the money - Wonderful and easy. Slept well.
- Freddy (7/5): Good -
- Ralph (8/5): It’s a place to spend the night. 🤷🏻♂️ -
- Rosanne (9/5): Superb - Very convenient location. Friendly check in. Everything was fine.
- Stanislaw (2/5): - We arrived at the motel around 11 at night, a group of 12 people. The lady gave us the keys through a small window in the reception wall. All the rooms were very worn and their cleanliness left much to be desired. In one of the rooms there was a large mustachioed cockroach running around the bathroom tub...The motel is very worn and should be renovated immediately or closed down. No breakfast served at all.I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
- Rodney (10/5): Exceptional -
- Edward (3/5): Poor -
- Ruthe (8/5): Very good -
- Jeffrey (4/5): - You get what you pay for. I could not tell if the property was falling apart, or simply in the midst of repair. It seemed safe enough. But it simply seemed to be falling apart. No ice. No breakfast. But, thankfully, hot water.
- Michael (8/5): - Good for the price and convenience.
- Armando (7/5): Good -
- Margarita (1/5): Bad -
- Joseph (2/5): - Pictures not an accurate. Many people permanently living there. Carpets stained mold in bathroom. Not a nice place.
- Fred (10/5): - They are in the process of remodeling rooms. The one we had was remodeled and was excellent. Don’t let the outside conditions scare you off. Would stay again.
- Gayle (6/5): Pleasant - The beds were comfortable and the room was adequate. It was clean but dated. The shower was good (except for when the water was off). The remodeling that was occurring was a bit inconvenient. There was a lot of old furnishings laying around the parking lot. We came back from hiking and found that the water was off. It was off for about an hour.
- D (10/5): - Front desk staff was great, very responsive & helpful even as I checked in the evening. Room was comfortable & accomodating. Decently priced.
- Eric (10/5): - Probably the best value I’ve seen in a long time. Bed was comfortable, room was comfortable. If you need a one night inn and out run I’d recommend this spot
- Lily (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dennis (4/5): Disappointing -
- James (8/5): good motel - no continental b-fast. but coffee maker in room with ceramic cups. motel room is like your grandmother's house. old but clean and comfortable, with a large flat screen TV. they are trying to keep it up, to upgrade and maintain without having to tear down and build a new facility. price is reasonable in post pandemic age where all prices retail jumped 50-100% and won't come down again. maintenance man was on the job when I was there indicating active attempts at maintenance and repair. parking lot is tight and concrete pillars have to be carefully avoided in driving in and backing out.
- John (6/5): It was only one night on a trip to look at property's for sale, we chose another motel on return - Did not eat breakfast, had the in room coffee. Had no place to walk my dog, saw it was still being updated, perhaps they will add a place for pets in the future. Had to walk back to the office and then behind it which was truck parking just to walk my dog. They were told when I booked that I was traveling with 2 dogs, why were we not placed closer to the front so we could walk those dogs much more easily. We arrived early and there were many vacant rooms.
- Eme (3/5): Poor -
- Roger (8/5): - Everything in the room was in good shape. Maybe a little hot water for the shower would be in order.
