C’est certain que pour les canadiens c’est un peu cher, vue l’échange d’argent. Il manquait peut-être un fauteuil confortable dans la chambre , mais vue la dimension de la chambre il est peu possible d’y ajouter un fauteuil.
Van Malleghem (10/5): Great stay! Great people! - The people at the property were very friendly. Check in is normally at 3pm but they will text you when your room is ready earlier. They have a lot of information in the office which comes in very handy. The room is not that big but it has a kitchen with all necessary equipment, and a nice little patio where you can have breakfast. You can buy coffee and muffins/bagels across the street. They also have chairs and bikes at your disposal. Easy if you want to go to the beach! Checkout is at 10am, but you can use chairs and bikes even after checkout, which is great!

Amy (10/5): Relaxing cottage style Inn within 5 minute walk to the beach close to everything. - The owners were incredible, making sure we had everything for a wonderful stay. Our room included a little outdoor patio which had 2 chairs and a table. They also had beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a beach cart for us to use during our stay. They had beach towels available, an outdoor shower and a shell cleaning station! Right across the street was a great little restaurant where we had really good pancakes and Connor recommended The Shack for ice cream and it did jut disappoint! 10/10 and my daughter and I will definitely be back next time we are in Sanibel!

The room is extremely clean, quiet, and organized. The location is great, minutes of walk to beach and there are three nice restaurants right next door or cross the street. The extra beach gears, chairs, bikes, shelling tools etc. made it fun and easy to enjoy Sanibel Island.

INGA (10/5): - Everything was great! Cosy, stylish bungalow with private tiny patio. Perfect location: restaurant, local shop and ice cream place right across the street, 5 minutes to the beach. Very welcoming and friendly host Joe and his son. They have thought of everything one could need. All the beach stuff is prepared, it can be used even after check-out, also towels and shower which is very convenient. Me and my family enjoyed this stay and the island of Sanibel. The only bad thing was that our stay was too short, one day is definitely not enough.

Der Standard entspricht einem 4*Sterne Hotel im Europa, einem Niveau, was man hier leider häufig sucht. Ich empfehle jedem hier einzuchecken, wenn man auf Sanibel eine schöne Zeit haben möchte!

Brinna (10/5): Best Place To Stay On Sanibel! - Tarpon Tale Inn is a fabulous stay! My boyfriend and I spent a short weekend here, and it was above and beyond our expectations. The room was so clean and quaint, and the location could not be in a more perfect spot! It was literally a 5 minute walk to the beach! They had sweet little amenities such as a small fire pit area, a hammock for lounging, each room has a small outdoor patio perfect for breakfast or dinner! Not to mention they provided us with beach towels, shelling gear, even beach chairs! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else on Sanibel now, especially for the value!! You simply cannot beat Tarpon Tale Inn!

If you want a quiet getaway on Sanibel Island with quick access to the beach, a private patio and grill, access to bicycles, an outdoor hot/cold shower, a shell washing station, and beach chairs/umbrella/wagon - this is it! The owner, Joe, has an eye for detail and it shows throughout your stay. I wanted a beach experience and that’s exactly what I got at Tarpon Tale Inn. Other than to explore (Blind Pass, Bowman Beach, Turner Beach and Captiva) the island and pick up a few things at Jerry’s, I had no need to drive. Wickie’s and Tuttle’s are directly across the street, and a deli place is next door - the Sanibel lighthouse is a .6 mile bike ride and beach access is just around the corner is across the street. The king room with full kitchen was nicely equipped and the bed was incredibly comfy. So clean! The “no-seeums” were present and accounted for, mostly at dusk and dawn, not a Tarpon Tale Inn issue because they were everywhere on the island. Guests are offered use of bug spray in the office as a shared option. The Tarpon Tale has a quaint beach vibe I know you will love!

Wendy (10/5): - As with most places on Sanibel, this is a family-run small business and they are eager to please. This was the perfect location for our family to call home for a week, was right next door to a family-run convenience store, across the street from ice cream, dining & shopping, and on the main thoroughfare to get to everything else on the island via car. I didn't take pics of it because honestly, that's why you go to Sanibel, to do nothing other than go to the beach, collect cool sea shells, and shop. The kitchen had everything you could need and a full-size fridge was handy for the grocery store items on the non-restaurant nights. It was a truly memorable, enjoyable and comfortable home for a week and we hope to be able to go again next year!

They really have everything you need for a fantastic leisurely beach experience. It is evident how much they care about making sure guests are taken care of. The extra details that they put into making your stay over the top made us feel special. Already booked again. They cared so much about our stay and we were so appreciative!!!! They provided beach equipment an umbrella, beach wagon, towels, chairs. The beach was a quick 5 min walk away. They have a grill and different seating areas around the property to enjoy. There is a restaurant and coffee shop across the street and a deli next door. The property has free bikes you can use during your stay. We stayed in the Birdhouse room. Which was perfect for our stay. It was a nice, quiet, clean place. We would happily stay again!

Jerrilyn (10/5): Exceptional - Although it was not oceanfront it had a very quaint courtyard to sit in that was extremely relaxing. Right across the street was an awesome restaurant, yogurt shop, shopping. Definitely worth the trip. It wasn't ocean front.

Heather (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic stay! Could not ask for more. Bikes, chairs, umbrella, even a wagon to take to the beach. Owner showed us around, answered our questions, and was very responsive when we needed anything. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Nothing. It was perfect
Kimberly (10/5): - This place was beautiful and very accommodating. It was a short walk or bike ride to the beach. The room had everything we needed and beach chairs, beach cart and bicycles were provided. It was right across from a coffee and ice cream shop and a nice restaurant and a gift shop. I will definitely be back to visit.

Denise (10/5): Lovely setting for a quick stay across from restaurants and ice cream and beach on Sanibel - The location was great. Owner is wonderful. The caretaker is nice and helpful. Had bikes available to use. Lovely gardens to sit out front or on our little deck. Quick walk to beach with chairs and towels available. It was very buggy in the back garden. We got eaten alive.
Lisa (8/5): Enjoy Sanibel Beach! - Tarpon Tale Inn is conveniently located on east end of Sanibel Island. The Inn is right across the street from a really good restaurant (loved the coffee) and Magic Bus Ice Cream shop. The bed was very comfortable. Just need to be cautious of the step up into the bathroom! The hosts were very flexible! Proximity to beach - excellent (2 blocks) Property provides bikes, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella!!

Doretta (10/5): - A gem! Quaint property that makes your stay enjoyable. They have everything that you need for a day at the beach/shell seeking. The chairs, umbrella, shovels, buckets, towels, and wagon are there to use. Loved it!

Joseph (10/5): - The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. There's a patio with table outside front door. The area is nice and quiet. The owner of the property was super nice and very helpful. The beach is a 5 minute walk. Definitely will consider staying for a whole week the next time

Zachary (10/5): Extraordinary stay! - Absolutely everything. Me and my wife decided to change up an old tradition and start a new one for our anniversary. 19 years together. We thought we were going to spend a couple of years trying to find a new one. Nope, Tarpon Tale Inn delivered exceptionally well. If you are looking for a quiet get away with amenities that will blow your mind look no further. Parking right beside the beach, bikes for your leisure, beach wagon and other beach goodies to take on your journey,outdoor showers so you can rinse off before going in your room, a sea shell washing bench to go through all your shells and clean them before sticking them back in your car for a long trip home. I honestly feel blessed I ran across this gem. It is ran by Father and Son, Joe and Connor. It did my heart well to support such an establishment! Thank you Joe and Connor. See you next Sept 1st!
