• Maciej (10/5): mazing place to chill and - This place is just awesome if you are looking for a traquil hotel away from the main routes where you can just chill, relax, meditate, read a book etc. It's a good spot for daily excursions to most sites in this part of Bali, e.g. Ubud or Mount Batur. The staff is super friendly, they help you with pretty much everything you need, from organizing a day trip to ironing board to a massage on site. The villas are surrounded by a wall of natural forest, it's simply amazing.

They have a free shuttle service to Ubud city, three times a day. Sound travelled through the connecting rooms, so when the man 4 rooms down had his TV on we could easily hear it. The photos on the booking.com website are not really accurate, they need updating.

Tucked away neatly , this hotel has beautifully appointed poolside apartments - top notch decor and appointments . Everything is here - they even had a UK plug converter. The restaurant has an extensive menu and everything was beautifully made. Eggs Benedict for breakfast was lovely and their healthy fruit drinks were amazing. Staff were very attentive , kind and friendly.

• Y4060LZjillp (10/5): Fantastic place to stay - We had a fantastic relaxing holiday at Senetan. We had 2 bedroom villa with private pool....it was lovely, clean, large and very private. The staff were amazing and tried their hardest at all times. It was very reasonably priced and included breakfast. They also brought afternoon tea with warm banana fritters every day free of charge to our villa. Exceptional place.
• Bojana (7/5): Great villa, not the best location - Breakfast was included, nice pool area, cosy villa, and helpful and friendly staff. The standard deluxe room was lovely - spacious, comfy, with all toiletries and necessities. Free shuttle 3x a day to Ubud is helpful, takes around 30mins. From there, it's easier to get a taxi, scooter, or car. I was happy to be upgraded after a night in a standard room. Deluxe rooms are right in front of the pool and dinning area-so would recommend those. Had a deep tissue massage that felt good, it's double the price, however, compared to some other places in Bali (it depends on the location). The kitchen is taking orders till 10 pm, which is handy; room service is available, food is delicious. The location is good if you're looking for a relaxing, not active holiday, full of sightseeing. I had trouble ordering a taxi there; they often quoted a higher price than the app so I had to book a private driver to explore the nearby mountain area and waterfalls. To get to Ulun Danu temple, you have to go via Ubud, which adds 30 minutes to your ride, even though on maps it looks nearby. Decide what you want to see before coming because it's in a village, and except for shuttle or private ride/car hire, it's challenging to navigate around, especially for a solo traveller, which adds to the costs. The standard room bathroom is outdoors, and I didn't like the insects getting in and having to keep doors closed so they don't crawl into the bedroom. Small lizards are regular visitors in Bali accommodation, but we hadn't had this issue in Deluxe rooms, so recommend that one. No nearby shops, so it doesn't have that convenience; you need to plan in advance. I wish the pool were open longer than 6 pm, at least until 8 or 9, because there is nothing around to do, and it would feel relaxing, especially in the evening, after a long day of sightseeing. It'd be good to include chicken salami on the breakfast menu, instead of sausages only.

Ingen musikk, ikke trafikkstøy, bare ro. Vi kunne ønsket oss et par restauranter og kanskje én cafe eller to i nærområdet. Veldig bra mat på hotellet, men gøy med alternativer. Villaen trenger litt overflate oppussing.
• Aegis3 (10/5): Bali Bliss in Ubud - My wife and I stayed at Senetan for 4 days in January 2026. The experience was magnificent! There were other guests, but we felt like we had the resort to ourselves, and the service was incredible. The staff are so friendly and super eager to please. everything was in great shape - clean pool, fantastic food, lovely rooms - we stayed in the Residence rooms, which we actually liked better than the pool-front rooms because they had more privacy and "Bali" character. This place is made for relaxation and romance. It is surrounded by lush jungle, but only a two minute walk away is a tiny village with friendly locals, and 15 minutes away is a "hidden" waterfall that is worth the hike. We stayed at 4 different resorts in four different areas of Bali, and for peace, relaxation, and a real authentic "Bali" vibe, this was the best. Tarima kasih Senetan!

The drawback with the location being so remote was the long trip to Ubud centre. And we experienced some issues with the warm water. After filling out bath tub the warm water run out, a couple of times the shower did not have warm water after using so much warm water to the bath tub.
• Hacene (4/5): Hôtel passable mais ne vaut pas 5 étoiles - Notre séjour a mal commencé mais le personnel a été à l’écoute de notre demande et nous avons eu un logement qui était mieux niveau propreté Service de navette pour Ubud Ce logement ne correspond pas à un 5 étoiles mais plutôt 3 étoiles. Les chambres sont assez vielles et l’humidité est un vrai problème. Les piscines sont mal exposé donc très froide. Malheureusement nous avons été déçu de notre séjour. Le petit déjeuner est certes variés mais pas très bon. La restauration est passable mais ne correspond en rien à un 5 étoiles. Niveau rapport qualité prix il y’a mieux. Il faudrait songer à faire des travaux et réaménager les villas. Le logement est éloigné de tout. C’est la première fois qu’on a été pressé de s’en aller d’un séjour.

Al inicio de nuestra estancia, el personal del hotel fue amable y acogedor, y el alojamiento en sí cumple con un alto nivel. Sin embargo, la experiencia general se vio afectada por dos problemas graves. En primer lugar, es muy decepcionante que un hotel que se anuncia como de 5 estrellas trabaje con agencias de turismo externas que fueron maleducadas, inflaron los precios y presionaron constantemente para que pagáramos más. Este comportamiento es totalmente incompatible con un hotel de esta categoría. En segundo lugar, hubo una falta de transparencia respecto a una promoción ofrecida a nuestra llegada. Se nos dijo que recibiríamos masajes y una cena gratuitos, pero en el check-out no se descontó ninguna cena. Posteriormente se nos dijo que esto se debía a que las bebidas estaban incluidas y no entraban en la promoción, algo que nunca se nos explicó con antelación. Los descuentos parciales aplicados no se correspondían con la cena prometida. Aunque la villa fue excelente, estos problemas minaron seriamente nuestra confianza y la experiencia global. No es lo que uno espera de un resort de 5 estrellas.

Man konnte Getränke und Essen bestellen und es wurde direkt aufs Zimmer gebracht das war gut, auch bei dem Ausflug mit der ATV Tour wurden wir bei der Buchung unterstützt. Der kostenlose Ubudtransfer war auch super 👍 Wir hatten direkt am Anfang eine Wanze oder sowas im Pool die hat gebissen, daher haben wir den Pool nicht so gerne genutzt. Der Rest war super.

I really recommend staying here if you want to escape the chaos and stay somewhere calm and beautiful. Its possible to hire motorbikes on site too if you want to explore or go check out the rice fields. I recommend bringing snacks with you as the location is far from any supermarket. However the restaurant on site is very delicious.

Everything was perfect. The service was wonderful very personal, very welcoming, everyone couldn't do enough for us. We loved the open restaurant in the tropical forest setting, food and drinks were delish. We loved our healthy breakfasts. Our Massages were amazing and Yoga teacher was very great too. • Evgenia (9/5): A wonderful place for a quiet and relaxing holiday - The hotel is located away from Ubud, in a quiet place with a lot of forest and nature around it. The place is perfect for a vacation and is generally well maintained. Beautiful garden, quiet and peaceful, away from the noise of the city. The staff is polite and does their job silently. The villa was large and well-arranged. The bathroom was a bit strange because there was almost no indoor part. When the weather is cool, it will probably be cold to take a shower. The bed was large and comfortable. What we liked most was that we spent a lot of time outside and the greenery around was calming. The hotel has a shuttle to Ubud 3 times a day for free and even if you don't have a car, you can get there. We recommend this place to people who need a quiet and pleasant vacation. The food and breakfast could really be better. There are quite a few options, we tried them all, but overall this is the weak point of the hotel. There is a restaurant that offers almost no international cuisine. Ubud is about 1 and a half hours away, the traffic is terrible there and we only went once because the road is 3 hours in both directions due to heavy traffic. The pool in the villa has no steps and not everyone can use them.The hotel is in a local village and there is nowhere to walk around, there is not much traffic, but there are many dogs and the smell of farm animals.

We had a 2-bedroom villa, which exceeded all expectations. The rooms were beautifully designed and well equipped, and the bathrooms offered that special Bali touch with an indoor–outdoor feel. Our villa also had a kitchen area and a private pool, making it feel extra special and private. The breakfast options were excellent — with the choice to enjoy it in the villa or at the restaurant. The place was truly delightful, surrounded by lush tropical trees and a refreshing atmosphere. They had already prepared the birthday decorations when we arrived. We checked in at 5 PM and were pleased not to miss the afternoon tea, which was promptly offered to us upon entering the room. The villa itself was spacious and comfortable, with warm wooden accents dominating the interior design. The bathroom was also large and semi-outdoor, allowing for plenty of natural light during the day. The pool was wide and inviting, though some tiles could be fixed more securely. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. They also made sure our child was well taken care of, especially when we ordered breakfast in the room. We truly hope to return again soon.

• Rebeka (2/5): One bedroom bungalow with garden view - Surrounding was nice it looked like jungle. The bungalow room had several issues that made the stay uncomfortable. The room was full of bugs and flies, and there was a loud bird outside that made it difficult to sleep through the night. The door didn’t close properly and had a noticeable gap, as did the windows, which likely contributed to the insect problem. While the shower had a nice design, it was located outside and attracted ants and other bugs, making it unpleasant to use. Additionally, the next morning, we discovered that the toilet was dirty with what appeared to be debris or dirt falling from the ceiling.

El personal molt amable, l'habitacio tambe era molt maca, confortable... Tot esta impecable i ben cuidat. Tant de bo haguessim pogut quedar-nos mes dies. Ens va encantar el cocktail de benvinguda i el servei gratuït de shuttle a Ubud va genial. Millor no refiar-se de grab o gojek, no vam trobar disponibilitat desde l'hotel, es millor anar a Ubud i agafar un taxi alla o tenir-ho reservat amb antelacio. Vam estar molt temps intentant-ho i vam perdre gairebe el dia, una llastima. El restaurant molt bo pero per sopar vam haver d'esperar molt. Una mica car respecte als restaurants de la zona. Pero val la pena quan ja ets alla no haver-te de moure.

Ils vous aident pour réserver tout ce dont on a besoin (Trip Mont Batur, taxi, etc). La literie est confortable et les chambres sont immenses et propres, salle de bain un peu dans son jus, mais j’imagine qu’avec l’ouverture sur la jungle, on ne peut pas faire mieux… La carte du restaurant est assez variée et la cuisine est bonne. Navette gratuite pour se rendre à Ubud, 3 départs et 3 retours par jour. Nous n’avons pas pu profiter de la piscine privée, malheureusement l’eau était très froide.

The only thing I didn’t like is it was a long drive to get to places we want to go. But the hotel had a shuttle into Ubud and it was still easy to book transportation.
• kelseighcoombs (10/5): Paradise in the jungle - We had the dreamiest stay here. The resort was secluded and quiet in the heart of the jungle. The villa was romantic and private. We were greeted with a foot massage on arrival and also got a free one hour massage for staying 3 nights. Wonderful hospitality. It is a little far from Ubud and other destinations but I think well worth it - your days just take a little more planning and I would recommend extra time in the area. Might be my favorite place I stayed in Indonesia, would return.
