• Andrea (8/5): Schönes Ski-Wochenende und dafür ist das Hotel wirklich gut. - Preis-Leistung war wirklich gut, Zimmer sehr geräumig und alles in allem ein schönes Hotel in super zentraler Lage zum Lift Besser geht nicht. Sehr freundliches Personal. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wellness - Bereich wirklich grosse Auswahl an diversen Saunen, diversen Pools, Schwimmbad, etc etc. und im römischen Stil gestaltet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist wirklich verbesserungswürdig. Sehr sehr lieblos gestaltet und man kommt sich schon bisschen wie in einer Massenabfertigungshalle vor. Die Einrichtungen in Lobby und Bar inkl. Frühstücksraum kann man wirklich etwas moderner und zum Wohlfühlen gestalten. Da braucht es keine grosse Investition. Auswahl beim Frühstück ausreichend, aber wie erwähnt, das geht besser und netter gestaltet. Die Liegenbereiche und Ruhezonen im Spa könnten auch etwas schöner und moderner gestaltet sein. Hat alles sehr grossen Schwimmbad-Charakter. Die Liegen unten sehr unbequem.
• Martin (3/5): Ein Hotel, das seine beste Zeit hinter sich hat – alles auf Masse ausgelegt. - Unser Zimmer 1407 war sehr schön und groß. Das Hotel ist sehr groß und es wurden augenscheinlich immer wieder angebaut, so dass man sich leicht verirren kann. Es gibt min. 3 Speisesäle. Wir waren in der Zwischensaison dort und in jeden Saal saßen vielleicht 20 Leute. Das Personal waren ausschließlich osteuropäische Mitarbeiter mit sehr schwachen Sprachkenntnissen. Die Qualität der Speisen war sehr durchschnittlich. Frühstück hatte Supermarkt Qualität und das Abendessen war auf Volumen ausgelegt. Abends war in dem Hotel nichts los. Der Barmann daddelte die ganze Zeit auf seinem Handy rum, da nichts zu tun war. Wir hatten für eine Woche gebucht und mussten wegen einen Unfall vorab abreisen. Ich bat die Rezeptionschefin uns eine angemessene Rückvergütung für die nicht beanspruchten Speisen zu gewähren. Sie erwiderte unwirsch, dass dies nicht möglich sei, da ich bei Booking gebucht habe. Ich akzeptierte dies nicht und bat um mehr Einsicht, da sie ja nun effektiv eine Einsparung habe. Sie entgegnete barsch, dass sie nichts machen werde und ich ja eine Versicherung habe sollte. Eine gute Heimreise wurde nicht gewünscht. Die Rezeptionschefin ist ein Totalausfall. Meine Versicherung ist sicherlich nicht dafür da, die Gewinne des Hotels zu maximieren.

• Maximilian (9/5): Wir waren alles in allem sehr mega zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder - Lage zum Lift/ Apres Ski/ Gastro war mega Personal war sehr freundlich Großer Spa Bereich (nur bis 20:30 geöffnet, nicht wie angegeben 21:00) Top Restaurants direkt im Hotel Billiard/Squash Bereich war etwas lieblos und in die Jahre gekommen

• Frank (8/5): Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt - Sehr schönes, sauberes Zimmer, sehr engagiertes Personal im Restaurant, 4-Gang Menü am Abend, kompetente, nette und engagierte Rezeptionsmitarbeiter Frühstücksbufett war i. O., hätte aber für 4**** abwechslungsreicher und besser sein können. Das Angebot war jeden Tag identisch so wie das Salatbuffet am Abend.

• Kjell (8/5): Central and tidy, but food needs improvment - Stayed for a week in a single deluxe room with a balcony towards the main street(in the "new" building). A lot of noise through out the night from returning party people, so bring earplugs! The room was tidy and clean. The bed was not so comfortable, there was some sort of waterproof layer between the sheet, made you sweat like crazy. But all in all, it was a nice room. The hotel personnel and restaurant staff was very nice and friendly. The spa is also quite good, nothing spectacular, some steam saunas didn't work but the Finnish sauna was good and there was a nice pool to cool down in. Breakfast and dinner, I don't understand at all how so many people praise the food? Are you not used to normal or quality restaurants at all? The food was eatable but nothing more. This needs improvement! I can recommend going with the ski guide Stocky, he has a nice sense of humor and knows the valley inside and out and you get to visit better areas than Penken with door to door transport! Important to note, they leave at 9:00 from the hotel and return 15:45.

• Stephen (9/5): Overall an excellent place to stay and I have been many times over the years. - Hotel Strass is right next to the main Penkenbahn access gondola and hence all the free ski buses. Also close to all the support activities, including the ski shops, bars, cafes and restaurants etc. Hotel itself is a long established large multi-building 4 star with all the "extra" facilities. Food overall is pretty good but other 4 star hotels in Mayrhofen are competitive in this respect. Alternative meal menus offer good choice but the quality needs improving here especially as one does not always want the main set menu options. The hotel has a lot of teenage guests who neither want the child menu or the "fancy" main menu - but they do want a decent burger and / or spaghetti! Meanwhile the main menu starters show evidence of cost cutting.

• Tal_is_traveling (8/5): Excellent hotel with AMAZING spa and very good food in a nice location. - The staff is really nice and the restaurant is a real luxury with 4 dishes at night and an awesome breakfast and excellent waiters. The spa is one of the BEST I have ever been (you have more than you need there) and fully equipped! The location is the best if you are a beginner and take lessons in the Penken. For night lives is for sure the best location to be. The balcony has an amazing view! The bed is not comfortable, and they didn't replace our towels. Location is the best if you are a beginner and take lessons in the Penken but the other sites are better(not crowded and the snow is better) and you need to walk to the train. Small pieces of stuff are missing(hair dryer, shampoo, also the towel dryer was not working) and the room is really hot(the controller was not working well).
• Michael (6/5): Great location, loveley staff, food and communal areas need improving - Location was superb, the newly refurbed room was great. Staff were really friendly and knowledgeable. Shower in the room was brilliant. Good discount on the rental shop next door. Food within the half board was not great. The price is a little high but I’m guessing that’s mostly for the location. The lockers were on a daily charge but were not heated. The bed wasn’t very comfortable as there was a strange plastic layer under the sheets. The bed sheets were folded each day but never changed. Parts of the hotel are a bit dated.
• Lars (8/5): Short ski weekend - Pleasant, polite and nice staff At booking. Com it says 24/7 reception which is definitely not true. Rang door bell and called phone no at 4 am (we arrived early and wanted to book an additional night) but got a quite rude reply of coming back at 7am.

• Rebecca (8/5): An excellent place to stay for those visiting Mayrhofen - highly recommended. - The location of the Strass Sport & Spa Hotel is excellent - in the middle of Mayrhofen and very close to the Penkenbahn lift, which made the start and end of the ski day very easy (particularly with children). We enjoyed the spa facilities and the swimming pool is a good size. We had a half-board package, and the breakfast and evening meals were both very good with a range of choices (including child-friendly options). The staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend this hotel to those looking to visit Mayrhofen. We thought that our room was very comfortable, renovated recently, and the bathroom was very good with nice facilities. My only comment is that it didn’t feel particularly ‘cozy’ in the room, but that is a very minor point and as we were skiing during the day it certainly didn’t detract from our stay.
• Peter (7/5): All good - location excellent. - Good choice. Room well kept and very comfortable. Breakfast Staff a bit keen to clear plates & cutlery away if you went to the buffet. Cleanliness very high. Overall a good start and end to the day. Room price a bit steep, but understandable. Ice Bar, attached to the Hotel, to be avoided unless you enjoy excessive and clumsy behaviour - every night.

• Wojciech (10/5): Well located and comfortable hotel with SPA and easy access to a gondol lift. - A very well located hotel in the city center of Mayrhofen, close to a gondol lift. This makes the location very advantages for guests willing to get easily up to the skiing or hiking areas. Good breakfasts and dinners, a more than satisfying SAP area with a number of saunas and swimming pools. The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel is worth recommending.

The food every evening was amazing and we all really enjoyed the spa after a long day on the slopes. The rooms and views were fantastic, would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Lovely pool and spa area. rooms were really nice and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Hotel is central for everything so would definitely stay again. As we went during Snowbombing, some of the food and drink services were limited, but not just in the hotel, also in bars and restaurants all around the town, so we wouldn't go at the same time as that again.

• KAZUMASA (10/5): マイヤーホーフェンのホテルは2食付きのここ！ - このホテルは7回目の宿泊で今回は3連泊しました。なかなか凝った夕食付きで1人一泊10,000円（2人で20,000円）前後と言う破格の値段と、各種のサウナがとても良いのです。そしてこのマイヤーホーフェンは数多くのハイキング・コースも魅力です。また宿の荷物を預けての山小屋に泊まってのトレッキングができます。 まあ難点と言えば多少駅から遠いことと部屋に冷房が無いこと。ただし涼しいので、寝るときに窓を開けて寝ればそれほど支障はありません。 マイヤーホーフェンのお薦めのホテルです。

Unfortunately, I was very sick and could not get to the hotel so I cannot provide more information about the hotel. My friends said it was great.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Nice hotel, majestic surroundings - The location is superb - in the middle of the walking area of the village, 3 min walk to the famous gondola. The room was clean and looked like recently renovated. The hotel features very nice amenities: pools, saunas, spa, all in excellent order. Little details like a dedicated parking lot elevator give an idea of a well thought through place, and surely add comfort in winter. There was really nothing to complain about, nothing to distract us from enjoying the majestic surroundings of this Alpine village.

Hot Tub is in the nude only section of the spa. They do have a bathing suit friendly pool area though. Everyone spoke great english. Feels more like a 3* Hotel than 4*

• Peter (8/5): Etwas in die Jahre gekommen. - Wir waren 3 Nächte dort und hatten uns vom Hotel etwas mehr versprochen. Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Im Frühstücksraum war es viel zu warm, das Büffet allerdings reichhaltig und lecker. Frühstück gibt es erst ab Punkt 7:30 Uhr, um 20:30 Uhr ist dort Feierabend. Zimmerkarten funktionierten schlecht. Parkplätze etwas eng. Das Haus hat allerdings eine sehr zentrale Lage.

Außerdem ziemlich abgewohnt alles.

The food is a gourmet .the hotel have good sport and spa facilities. The room was ok but very old furniture. The safe wasnt working but the next Day they fixed it. We really recomended this hotel we enjoyed our stay very much.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Unzufriedenheit mit Service - Trotz 8 stundiger Verspätung des Flugzeugs,die dem Hotel nachgewiesen wurde,gab es als Ersatz für das Abendessen nur eine lieblos hergerichtete kalte Platte und das, in der Bar gekaufte Bier war warm. Das dritte Bett im Zimmer war ein super hartes Sofa,das mit dem vollen Preis berechnet wurde. Im Bad waren Haare in der Wanne.
• Beverley (10/5): Great facilities, Great sevice, Fabulous food - I stayed as a single traveller in August. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, greeting me by name at breakfast and dinner. The half board option is a bargain. The 4/5 course meal was exceptional every day. Fixed menu with a choice of 3 mains. No a la carte. Everything was very good. The facilities of the hotel are brilliant: beautiful gardens, pools, tennis, naked and non- naked spas, massages, indoor games ( pool, table tennis, video games, table hockey ), squash etc etc. Also a bars and night club, but mostly I think for wintertime. UK TV and free wi-fi in the room which was a bonus. Great location on the main street, next to the Penken lift, but rooms well insulated, so no noise. Great value. Great hotel
