- Angela (10/5): Romantic Getaway - Loved the resort, especially the peace and quiet being an adult only hotel. The walk up to Oia is a bit of a workout, but we didn’t mind. We walked it up and back at least twice a day to get to restaurants, shopping and to see the beautiful sunsets.

I read in other reviews room size was an issue for my wife and I the room size was great. Ask, the staff if the jacuzzi is cold because ours was hot. The views from the hotel are beautiful. Overall a pleasant stay ***rent a car in Santorini and if you stay here they have parking. It can be a challenge the first time seeing the road so drive slow and when you see the small cannon it’s the next road to the right***

- Lucia (8/5): - I didn't have a hot tub, but I had a heated pool, that was the perfect wnding to my evenings. The room was spacious and very clean, a powerful shower and I appreciated the safe too. I could watch the sunset from my terrace, which was amazing. Staff was friendly and at disposal. I would probably have liked a bit more privacy, as half of the people going to their room would have passed outside mine, but I would definitely stay again in the same room or in a couple of others I have seen.

- Kemilyn (2/5): - My Gucci sneakers and my friends sneakers got stolen from the room 17 where I was staying in Elea, their stuff got in the room to clean the it which wasn’t even clean by the time we came back, they literally came in to just changed the towels and take our belongings… Their excuse was that they thought the shopping bag was garbage. As we talk with the from desks, they were been rude, mean, avoidant, disrespectful and they didn’t provide any solution to the issue eventho they accepted the bag was taken by their stuff, they still didn’t let us know their names, they didn’t let us use their phones, they refuse to give us a report of the incident.

The staff were helpful in arranging transfers and contacting our tour operators. It was far enough away from town to be quiet, but easily walkable for dinner and shopping. - dominic (8/5): - 1/5 – Completely Misled by Ella Resorts and Let Down by Expedia We are extremely disappointed with our stay at Ella Resorts, specifically the Plunge Pool or Plunge Home accommodation. The booking was completely misleading. The photos on the listing clearly showed a modern, usable kitchen — which was one of the main reasons we booked this particular room. So we came fully prepared with food and supplies, expecting to cook and enjoy meals during our stay. To our shock and frustration, none of the kitchen facilities worked. The oven, stove, and microwave were all non-functional, and there were no kitchen utensils or appliances available to use. It was essentially a decorative kitchen — and completely useless. This was never made clear in the listing, and we believe we were misled by the marketing and imagery used. When we raised the issue with Expedia, all they offered was a £50 refund — which honestly felt like a slap in the face considering how much this impacted our trip. Between the false advertising from Ella Resorts and the inadequate response from Expedia, we felt completely let down. This experience ruined a significant part of our holiday. Future guests should be warned: do not trust the photos alone. If you’re expecting a usable kitchen, double and triple check in writing because the listing is not clear and the resort takes no accountability. This was our first time booking with Ella Resorts — and it will absolutely be our last.

It is a quite a hike up to the Blue Domes. I would recommend to get a taxi to drive you up. Great location to see the sunset.

The included breakfast is excellent and delivered at whatever time you want. We had a small issue with our AC which took a day to fix but the staff were kind and helpful throughout

Don’t let the size of this resort stop you from ordering food. We were not sure what we were going to get as we didn’t see anyone eating but we ordered and it was outstanding! Over the top delicious! Only noted things would be breakfast is not made to order like it says in Expedia. But it was a fantastic spread of fresh continental breakfast. Hotel was also advertised as non smoking but that was not the case as people were smoking cigarettes and cigars around pool deck. YUK! Our stay was still spectacular! Highly recommend this resort for a relaxing stay. With restaurants and nightlife just a hike away up in town of Oia.

They stored our bags and allowed us to use the pool and shower facilities. They were extremely communicative and gave us many great tips and recommendations. It was extremely serene and the rooms are beautiful. I can’t recommend it highly enough. We will most definitely be going back in the future. Thank you Elea, we had the most amazing time.

- lara (10/5): - A beautiful property and very well kept. It’s a serene place to stay despite being centrally located in Oia. The reception team are very engaging and can arrange anything you require, taxi transfers, trips, best restaurants for sunset views in town and so on. You get the best of both worlds here. You could happily spend the day by the two pools (or your own of course) and eat from the limited but extremely good hotel menu and end the day watching the sunset from the infinity pool sun Loungers with a cocktail in hand having not left the property at all!

Swimming pool and the resort has the beautiful scenery with amazing sunset. You don't need to go to the crowded area to view sunset. Staffs were very kind and they delivered the breakfast to the room. The quality and quantity of the breakfast was also great. Definitely recommend this place to have a great stay in Oia, Santorini.

Eva and Margarita both very helpful, booked ATV and coordinated pickup and dropoff and suggested several restaurant.

The staff are extremely helpful, suitcases delivered to the room, complimentary bottle of wine with fruit as welcome gift and breakfast brought to your room! Walkable distance to the shopping and restaurants. The reception staff arranged reservations at a wonderful restaurant for dinner and transportation to the airport.

- Melissa (2/5): - Our stay here was terrible and ruined our experience in Santorini as the air conditioning to our unit was broken. These buildings get incredibly hot - we were given a fan and told that’s all they could do after working with the hotel to fix it until nearly 1am. We weren’t able to get any quality rest. The hotel did nothing to reimburse us or compensate for this issue. In addition the bathrooms are incredibly small and leave a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness. The miniature hygiene product bottles were clearly used and only halfway full that were left for us.

The bed was very comfy however, the bathroom was small and humidity was a bit of an issue. Having our own hot tub was a absolute plus. If you want peace and quiet with the option of a 7 minute walk to town (shopping, dinning and the scenic blue domes) this is the place to be. If you’re coming from the US remember to bring a converter as various ones the hotel lent us did not work for our devices.

- James (8/5): - Customer service was amazing. Pool had dirt in it because Santorini is a dusty area. Hotel overall was amazing. Downside had no wifi or reception in our room. And there appears to be some form of a rubbish dumb behind the neighbours hotel(not sure if its illegal dumping).

He served our breakfast outside of our room each morning with a smile and everyone was just lovely. The Breakfast was similar each day but plentiful and filling to start our day. Highly recommend
- Anita (10/5): - A beautiful small hotel with an amazing view of the sea and Santorini’s stunning sunsets. Just on the outskirts of Oia it’s an oasis of peace from the crowds of town. There is quite a steep hill walk into town that might need to be taken into account. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the pools, sun loungers and spacious grounds are lovely. I would highly recommend.

The staff members were so accommodating and the hotel food was good also! Best fresh squeezed orange juice served every morning with breakfast

- Rukmal (10/5): - The best staff from any where I have been. Like family. Will go the extra mile to make you comfortable. Ran out of cigarettes and the barman Nicko sent someone to bring my brand from the supermarket. Cannot recommend enough. Have to stay and see.

- Loriane (8/5): - Had a minor problem checking in as we booked the room through a 3rd party website after their office was closed so the reservation didnt come through on their end. The hotel staff was really nice and welcoming and ensured we were able to get checked in to our room that night. The hotel is very clean and is walking distance to the castle of Oia, nice caldera views and museum etc. Breakfast was great and on time. Would defi be recommend.

- Luis (6/5): Terrible customer service - I didn’t get a chance to stay. I had a problem with my ferry and the hotel staff showed complete inflexibility to try to accommodate my situation. They had plenty of capacity to shift my night stay by 1 day. As a frequent traveler, I was shocked at the lack of flexibility from the management. If I was the hotel owner I would fire the manager. For the cost of 1 night they lost a loyal customer who would have visited again and again. I was not asking for my money back. All I wanted was a shift of dates when they had empty rooms.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - A slice of heaven in the middle of heaven. Elea Resort was such an amazing find. It’s away from the overcrowded, overpriced cliff side where paying 4 grand a night isn’t uncommon but you’re in a highly congested area. Elea provides a more serene side of Oia where you can watch the sunrise in peace and tranquility. The rooms are super nice and spacious. They offer a complimentary breakfast and meals all day as well as a full bar. The staff is just amazing: the lovely Constantine and Stella as well as the handsome Ahmed and amazingly cute George from Georgia( the country). The entire experience of Elea and Oia was life changing. Leaving was actually sad but gives me motivation to return. Thanks to the team for making my first visit to the Greek Isles a memory of a lifetime. σας ευχαριστώ

- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful, Amazing Hotel - My wife and I loved this hotel, only regret was we couldn't stay longer. Everything is beautiful and the staff is very welcoming. When we came in they told us they upgraded our room and then they sent a bottle of wine to our room. My wife is newly pregnant and we told them she wasn't drinking and they brought her a fruit juice. Very kind of them to keep that in mind. Room was wonderful and everything you would want out of a vacation. The best of all though was an amazing breakfast was brought to your room. We were in Heaven. Great place and you won't regret your stay.

Christine, at the reception desk, is very friendly and always smiling. Also, the resort is very close to the best area called Oai. If I return to Santorini, I would definitely stay at the Elea Resort again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing hotel. 10 minute walk from the centre of Oia. Service from the staff was excellent in both the reception and at the pool bar. Towels provided on sun loungers was great and the staff were always quick to change old towels. Also provided gluten free breakfast for my partner as she is celiac which was great and a rarity! View from the pools and around the resort was astonishing. One of the nicest places I have stayed, couldn’t recommend any more!

- Eduardo (10/5): Very nice hotel with great service - Extremely helpful staff they went out of their way to help with any requests you can have. The hotel is new and the rooms are adequate in size. The bathroom is also a good size. Breakfast is very good (fresh squeezed orange juice) and you can have it in your room at no extra charge. There is a jacuzzi outside of every room. You can also see the sunset from the hotel and avoid the crowd in Oia. The town is a 10-15 min walk (uphill).
- Eric (8/5): - The hotel is very good and in a great location for a peaceful stay and easy access to Oia centre. The only issues we had were with the staff, who were not very engaging and failed to follow up on some of the issues we raised. On the whole, it was a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was really goo.
