• Michael (10/5): A big exciting slice of la dolce vita! - This property was exactly what we were looking for! We wanted a vacation that felt like we were living in Florence and Palazzo Gamba delivered! Antonio, Sarah and the rest of the staff were so friendly and accommodating! We left feeling like we had made new friends! If you want to stay in the heart of Florence, you simply cannot find a better spot! We looked out our window onto the piazza constantly and the opera singing and classical guitar music wafted into our room until late in the night! I liked the room so much I got a tattoo of the window!!! It was like two weeks of living in an Italian dream! While it didn’t bother us in the least, it can be quite noise with revelers outside the window. I looked out onto the piazza at 2:30 in the morning one evening and saw about 20 foreigner exchange students celebrating the end of their semester while racing electric bikes in laps around the baptistery! Again, for us it just added to the ambience, but for some, the din could be a challenge.

• Saltrams (8/5): Enjoyable short break - Our apartment was a dichotomy of bedrooms; one grand, beautiful space with a balcony and the best aspect of St Maria Fiori, a bedroom to luxuriate in and live the tourist dream of la dolce vita. The other was a comfy bed in a smallish room overlooking a plain street. The specific apartment Raffaello would better serve one couple alone or with 1-2 children. It’s a lovely place for foreign tourists to experience Firenze because it is truly reflective of Italian style. The staff were all delightful and couldn’t be more helpful. The kitchenette is tired. Guests are unlikely to eat proper meals in the apartment because of the location and plentiful restaurants but the microwave could be nicer and the crockery more plentiful.

• Jinyoung (5/5): 너무 시끄러워요. - 위치가 피렌체대성당 바로 옆이라 위치는 좋지만 특히 밤에 엄청 시끄러워요. 새벽까지 시끄러워 3일내내 잠을 잘못잤습니다. 밤11시까지 바로옆 성당에서 끊임없이 버스킹을 하고 그 이후에도 취객들이 노래부르고 싸우고 새벽까지 매일 시끄러웠습니다. 우리는 시차때문에 일찍자고 일찍일어나는데 3일내내 여행의 컨디션이 엉망이었습니다. 저는 시끄럽거나 밝아도 잠을 잘자고 예민하지 않은데도 소음은 참을수가 없는 정도였어요. 호텔1 층에 소음은 호텔측에서 해결할수 없으니 경찰에 신고하라고 적혀있고 밤 12시쯤 경찰에 전화했더니 인력이 없어 도와줄수 없다고 하네요. 비엔나와 로마를 거쳐 왔는데 처음겪는 소음에 고통스러웠습니다. 저는 리뷰를 귀찮아서 쓰지않는데 보통은 큰맘먹고 먼 여행을 계확할때 이런일은 생각못할것아 적어봅니다.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Very firm bed in bedroom closest to door (Leonardo room) and thin pillows. Decor was a bit dated but apt was clean and super location with secure entrance

Las instalaciones también nos gustaron mucho, el hecho que tenga cocina, nos permitió hacernos varios desayunos. En lo personal la ducha estaba un poco estrecha, para mi que mido un poco más de 1.80m, siendo el baño amplio se lo pudo haber aprovechado un poco mejor.

• Jean (10/5): Amazing location and fantastic staff - Everything about this stay was fantastic. The location can't be beat, the apartment is well appointed and comfortable, and the view of the Duomo is incomparable. The staff was very accommodating and communicative. I broke my foot the day before. They were instrumental in helping us find a mobility scooter and helped coordinate delivery so I wasn't stuck in the apartment for 3 straight days. Not that it would have been terrible because the apartment was very comfortable. They also helped arrange getting a taxi to the door (the apt is in a pedestrian only area) because of my injury and was kind enough to give us a little extra time to check out because I was not able to move quickly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ... and will definitely stay again when I have my do-over trip after my foot heals. I was very sad not to be able to use the huge bathtub because I was in a cast - but that's not their fault. Otherwise, this stay was perfect.

Near to the Duomo Cathedral, restaurants, shops and just a short walk to the Ponte Vecchia. The staff were incredibly helpful. The property is fantastic, however as the location is in a bustling area, some noise at night is expected.

• Inman (10/5): - Only 10 min walk from train station! Soooo close to everything you wanted to do! Air conditioned, plenty of room for everyone. The staff even held our bags for us the last day after check out and made themselves available for us to pick up our luggage before heading to the train.
• Michael (9/5): Great value luxury in the middle of Florence - Excellent location and beautiful high ceilinged rooms. Antonio the reception guy was great - especially when the electricity cut out. He was very helpful in dealing with the Restricted Traffic Zone tax and finding a parking place. Nice touches in the room - bottle of chianti, water in the fridge, Olive oil, nice toiletries, good air conditioning. A bit more like a nice hotel than a rental As its in the centre, its pretty noisy at night,. Even though we were on the 5th floor, (there is an elevator!!), the windows were single glazed so don't cut out the noise. Also the electric sockets are all the old 3 pin Italian type so you need adaptors for normal European plugs. Only one socket in the kitchen area

• Pamela (7/5): Fun location and clean apartment but noisy - You are right in the action, just across from the Duomo, overlooking it and its square. So the view from the apartment is beautiful and exciting, as the Duomo facade is gorgeous and the activity of constant people can be fun to watch. You can walk everywhere from this location and you’re quite close to must sees like L’Accademie, Uffizi and the Medici crypts, etc. Decent grocery store nearby where you can buy food and water at a good price. The rooms are large and furniture fairly comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean but quite small. It is very, very noisy in this area and that noise (people talking, singing, yelling and music from restaurants and buskers) can make it difficult to sleep in the front bedroom. The windows are old and don’t offer much in terms of soundproofing. Even with earplugs, it can be a challenge to fall asleep and stay asleep in that room. The bedroom in the back however, is quiet. Florence historic center is extremely busy all day and well into the later night, so I suspect many of the apartments on the busier streets are loud.

Koska sijainti on keskeinen, niin ulkoa kuuluu ajoittain meteliä. Tämä oli huomioitu makuuhuoneista löytyvillä korvatulpilla. Mukavaa oli koko päivän avoinna oleva respa, päivittäinen siistiminen ja roskien poisvienti ja muutenkin yleinen siisteys. Olohuoneen katto maalauksineen muistutti kiekon kattoa. Easily accessible to top floors via elevator. Very dated and the beds weren’t really comfortable. It was also very warm the week we were there and no apparent AC.

• Hasini (8/5): Great staff, central location; but very noisy - The location couldn't be more central! We were able to go everywhere on foot. The best part is having your own bathroom accessible any time of day because your accommodation is always just round the corner. And we loved the staff! Every single member on duty over our 3-day stay was very warm and relaxed. Highly recommended. This is not on the property, but the trade off of a location so central is that you don't have a moment of quiet. We were spared the brunt of it as we were on the 6th floor, but travelers with fragile sleep might not want to book any property around the main square in Florence.

• zyc_340 (10/5): 完美 - 地理位置超级优越，就在百花大教堂旁边，推开窗便是百花大教堂，一个房间是两张床，一个房间一张大床，恰好满足了我们的需求，两个卫生间也非常方便。虽然地处中心地段，晚上也不会觉得很吵闹。我们入住的时候还有暖气，非常温暖。前台工作人员也介绍的非常详细，态度很好。

• Saliba (9/5): Wonderful time in Florence and would stay at the Palazzo Gamba Apts again. - We liked the location, separate bedrooms and baths to accommodate our group, and the staff is special. Their quick and attentive responses were so helpful and they are the kindest people. Since it’s in the hub of action it was slightly noisy for those sleeping on the street side.
• Shantel (10/5): Amazing location - The location was incredible! Very central to all activities in Florence. We had a car and were able to park about 2 blocks away, which was easy. We had the Michelangelo room. Two bedrooms on opposite ends of the apartment. One with a queen bed, the other with two single twin beds. That room overlooked the Duomo on 2 sides. Having 2 bathrooms was so nice since we had 2 teenagers with us. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to be on the center of the action! Front desk staff were super nice. There is a small elevator which was nice to take luggage up to our room and we could fit 3-4 people in it at the end of a long walking day. Nothing.

L’appartement, spacieux et parfaitement agencé, offre une vue exceptionnelle sur la Cathédrale Santa Maria dei Fiori, le Baptistère San Giovanni et le Campanile de Giotto — un cadre tout simplement unique. La propreté est impeccable et rien ne manque : café, thé, vin, huile d’olive, produits du quotidien, eau fraîche à l’arrivée… jusqu’aux petites attentions comme les bouchons d’oreilles, qui témoignent d’un vrai sens du détail. La décoration est soignée, et l’ensemble du mobilier comme des équipements est en excellent état. Florence est une ville splendide que nous avons eu grand plaisir à découvrir, et où nous reviendrons sans hésiter — dans cet appartement, sans aucun doute. Un grand merci à Antonio et Sarah pour leur accueil. Leur présence, à la fois discrète et efficace, ainsi que leur gentillesse, ont largement contribué à la réussite de ce séjour. Rien à redire. Rien à signaler — l’appartement était parfait. Florence est une ville magnifique, vivante et particulièrement accueillante. Seule petite interrogation amusée : nous nous sommes demandé à quel moment Florentins et visiteurs trouvent le temps de dormir… tant la ville semble animée du matin jusqu’au bout de la nuit !

L'appartement est propre, superbe et confortable. Le réceptionniste très aimable, parle français et anglais. La place peut être bruyante la nuit. C'est gênant si vous dormez la fenêtre ouverte.

• Claire (7/5): We enjoyed opening the shutters and looking directly on the famous Duomo. We felt like we were right in the middle of al - I loved the central location next the the Duomo. Ironically, the location that I liked so well could also be a negative feature. We were there in February and it was not overly busy but in higher tourism I think it would be very noisy.

• Silvia (10/5): - We had a wonderful experience staying at the property. The location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the heart of everything, making it so easy to explore the city on foot. What really made the stay stand out, however, was the staff. Antonio was exceptional going above and beyond to assist us into a late night check in. Both him and the lady at the reception were incredibly welcoming and professional. They truly made us feel at home. The flat itself was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting.

• hyohyung (10/5): - 위치가 너무 좋았고 시내 중심부지만 전혀 시끄럽지 않다. 숙소창문을 열면 대성당 앞 광장이 다 보여서 밖에 나가지 않고도 광장에서 일어나는 모든걸 느낄수 있었다. (크리스마스 시즌이라 행사나 버스킹을 숙소에서 다 감상할수 있었다) 오래된 건물이지만 굉장히 관리가 잘 되어있었고 깨끗했다. 광장쪽 방이 크고 천고가 높아서 난방이 잘 되었음에도 추웠지만 다른 방과 주방, 거실은 충분히 따뜻했다. 주방시설도 만족스럽고 화장실 수압이나 물도 충분히 온수가 공급된다. 데스크에 직원이 있어서 도움을 받을수 있어 좋았다. 그리고 3명 모두 친절했다. 엘레베이터의 장점도 빼 놓을 수 없다. 피렌체에 다시 온다면 모든것이 갖춰진 이곳을 다시 예약할 것이다. 없다.
