Wasn’t aware when booking it had a hot tub, so we didn’t have bathing suits with us. The only thing we didn’t like was the toilet in bathroom was very low.

• Brian (5/5): If you need a place to crash for a night and don't like motels, this will do. - Not much, really. The window by the heater allows LOTS of air through, which was very likely the main cause of the heater coming on, running for 5 or 10 minutes, shutting off for literally like 1 minute, turning on again. It's a propane heater and not quiet, so it was VERY annoying. I don't understand a king size bed in a couples cabin, especially given the size of the cabin. There was just about enough room to walk around the bed. A queen bed would be much more logical in my opinion. I was a Facilities Manager of a private high school with 30 buildings for 20 years, so I know my shit about this stuff, and I can tell you the facility is not overly well maintained. It's adquate, but nothing special.

I have been staying here since the late nineties and I have to say I was very disappointed this time. They have really let the place go down hill. Cabin floor was very slanted. Two bugs crawling by kitchenette. Felt dirty. The porch windows were very sloppily painted. Brought my mom for her 79th bday, as we stay here every year. This was definitely my last time.

We stayed in one of the family cabins which was cozy and rustic in all the best ways. We were especially impressed by the service throughout our stay, from the shoveling of snow to all our needs being quickly received and met by the staff. Everyone was friendly, kind, and super helpful! Loved the included breakfast and the amenities. We will absolutely be back!

Phone in the room is not functional. Light over the sink in bathroom was not working. Booking.com price was ~15% higher than Expedia. • Voyager259343 (10/5): Hidden Grm - I was dreading this trip. We waited till the last minute to decide to ski over Feb break. This was one of the only places that was reasonably priced and close to skiing. We were so surprised. The decor is dated, but it is so clean and quaint and the staff was totally amazing. The office has hot cocoa and they did cookie time during the day. They had made to order breakfast and you made were able to make reservations for the hot tub. Definitely a hidden gem.

Breakfast made to order and fresh. Have been coming here for years with my children and now with my spouse for skiing hiking and shopping.
• Guest (10/5): Wonderful Stay - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Merrill Farm Inn this past weekend. Our room was exceptionally clean, quaint, cozy and inviting, such as you would expect to find in a historic inn, with the added ambiance of an electric fireplace. The common rooms were beautifully appointed with period furnishings and they even had a movie room set up with theater seats and a popcorn machine. We enjoyed a delicious dinner as well as breakfast in the picturesque Barn restaurant. The first inn we have ever stayed in that included a fully cooked breakfast from a list of about 12 items. That was above and beyond expectations. From the front desk staff to the restaurant servers, everyone could not have been more gracious and accommodating. A place we will definitely return to and heartily recommend.

Was like stent warren and every time I left my room I got dreadfully lost trying to find my way back! Room was dingy and has seen far better days. Was pressured to book for dinner in advance of arrival which I duly did. I have never in my life walked out and refused to eat what was put down in front of me and shockingly this was the first time - I can’t describe how disgraceful the stake dinner was or the waiters inability to deal with how dreadful it was. I walked out and went to Applebee’s in town which was phenomenally better. Do not dine in at the hotel. It is cheap, so I suppose you get what you pay for.

The staff is wonderful, friendly and always there to help. The restaurant is warm and inviting with great food. Close enough to all that North Conway offers yet far enough to escape and relax.

• simon (8/5): Ok for 1 night - Location, the guy who checked us in was friendly and arranged our evening meal in the attached restaurant. Room size was good. Room was cleaned to an adequate standard but some deep cleaning is needed for the carpets or consider replacement. Bathroom was really old fashioned and requires immediate update. It suited our needs for1 night of our roadtrip but if we were staying longer we would of been disapointed. On site restaurant needs more staff 3 out of 4 dinners purchased were good the forth wasnt (haddock) Breakfast was quicker service and tbf good.. Hot tub only had 1 jet working

My husband appreciated the coffee and cookies available at check in, too. We look forward to another stay soon, maybe in one of the cottages on the river. We’ve never stayed in one of those. We enjoyed a quiet stay!

• Rene (8/5): - De gastvrijheid staat hoog in het vaandel. Een authentieke locatie. Mooi uitzicht vanuit onze kamer op de Sacco rivier. Het ontbijt wordt voor je klaargemaakt en dus erg vers met ruime keuze uit gerechten. Het is allemaal wat verouderd en onze kamer zat vol lieveheersbeestjes. Volgens de manager was het de tijd van het jaar en hadden alle kamers daar last van.
• LukaDima (9/5): Caratteristica btw accomodation - Posizione ideale per visitare la Kanc. L'hotel offre veramente un'enorme selezione di attività tra cui la merenda per i bambini. Bellissima sala ristorante in pieno stile del New Hampshire. L'hotel è caratteristico in tutto e per tutto. Mi chiedo come sia possibile che una camera King size, quindi pagata piú di una camera base, sia posizionata esattamente sul lato che affaccia alla statale, dove passano veicoli di ogni peso e portata tutta la notte. Ancora piú incomprensibile è stata l'assegnazione della suddetta camera con vista su strada quando in struttura eravamo solo pochi ospiti. Avremmo preferito alloggiare nella residenza rivolta verso il bosco.

• Ann-Kathrine (6/5): Pricy for what you get - The place is situated in driving distance of Mt. Washington og close distance of two covered bridges. The breakfast menu is lovely but you only get to choose one serving. They serve afternoon coffee/tea and biscuits We were placed on the first floor of the main building. The room and facilities are worn and outdated, the bed was small and uncomfortable. We are not large people, but when one turned over the other one almost fell on the floor.
• Corinna (9/5): Tolle, idyllische Lage! - Tolle Lage direkt am Fluss! Gemütliche Räumlichkeiten, ausreichend große Zimmer mit komfortablen Betten! Sauber! Schöne Atmosphäre beim Frühstück (mit Kamin). Leckere Frühstückskarte, allerdings etwas schade, dass man pro Person nur ein Gericht wählen (ein Bagel mit Frischkäse ist für eine erwachsene Person dann doch etwas wenig) Die Portionen der anderen Angebote wie Pancakes etc. sind größer und lecker! Personal nett, allerdings seeehr zurückhaltend. Anders als gewohnt in den USA. Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt.

• Danielle (5/5): Watch price when you book - The room itself was very cozy and clean. It was fairly quiet and in a great location. Parking was free but very limited. The bathroom was very outdated with only one roll of toilet paper being given for an entire weekend stay. Upon check-in the price was not the same as quoted in previous messages and when tried to be explained the person checking in would not let us get a word in. Then still did not give the full quoted amount but a discounted amount higher than quoted. Breakfast was free but not very good with us choosing to go pay elsewhere.

Drink vending machine was completely out of product which took our money and did not refund. Morning staff at front desk was very rude and not friendly at all.

• Guest (8/5): Cute place to stay in North Conway - Very nice Inn in North Conway. The room and bathroom were clean. Nice dining room but short staffed. Dinner and Breakfast were good. Very good service. Air conditioner in room a bit loud.
• ianhX3578UW (2/5): Horrible room and unapologetic manager - We were given a room with stained carpets , the room stank and the tiny bathroom was out of the 1970’s. The Manager was confrontational and refused to give us a refund Worst hotel I’ve ever visited in the USA

• Guest (9/5): Beau séjour dans un bel endroit en bonne compagnie. - Localisation près de tous les services et en plus la beauté de la rivière derrière notre chalet. La propreté, le confort et le matériel, Déjeuner compris. Nous avons eu les serviettes propres seulement à 17h00. Sinon rien à dire.
• John (6/5): - The toilets in the rooms and common areas are to small. They need to be raised another ft off the floor. This place is not for people who have to use devices for walking. No handicap ramps to speak of. Need more help in the dining room slow service and both our orders were wrong.Sorry to say I cannot recommend this place to others.

• FADEC (6/5): Confusing old world charm? - I’m confused as to whether the owners are maintaining a shabby chic, old world charm or aren’t investing in the property. It has many attractive features and it is certainly quaint. Overall, the property is impressive, with a variety of different accommodations, sandwiched between a busy highway and a pretty river. Our room in the main building was spacious, with a comfortable bed, large tv and was relatively quiet. No coffee facilities in the room, but there was coffee and hot cider in the reception area. As mentioned by others, there was an odour, which we initially felt may have been caused by a dog in the room, however, the odour also existed in other areas of the hotel. The bathroom was the main area in need of improvement, the flooring, mastic sealing, door, etc were crudely finished, very much a DIY effort. The restaurant served good food, although the solitary member of staff on duty was clearly stretched single-handedly running the bar, taking food orders, clearing tables and serving. Consequently, service was slow at dinner, and a little better at breakfast as he didn’t have to run the bar. We made use of the laundry, but the single, aging washing machine was stuck on a cold cycle and the powder failed to dissolve and stayed on our clothes.
• llutes1 (6/5): Disappointing Stay - To start with the good! Staff was friendly and helpful upon arrival. Our room was upstairs in the front of the inn and they offered to carry our luggage upstairs. Grounds are clean and enjoyed sitting outside. Unfortunately, the room was small and cramped. The attempt to make the room seem quaint just cluttered the room making it small. Room had a slight musty smell. The biggest issue was noise! Being in the front and on the main road, the traffic noise was horrible and loud. We were told coffee would be available at all times, but in the morning coffee was out and there were no employees around. There were several people looking for coffee. Breakfast was an additional cost, which we paid to be able to eat before traveling again. Breakfast was barely warm and just ok! We really wanted to like this Inn based on reviews and pictures, but for the price we paid and the accommodations we had, we were very disappointed!

• Kathy (8/5): Pleasant stay in North Conway - The staff seems super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Also, our room was supplied with fresh towels. That was really nice. We had made a reservation at their restaurant for Sunday night and we thought that it would be open. When we gather it wasn’t, we would’ve changed our plans if we had known that in advance so it was kind of irritating.
