Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - a clean place to stay and exceptional close to Roger Center
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great stay in Toronto - We were very happy with our apartment. I liked the fact that there were two bedrooms and a Timhortons was a one minute walk from our apartment enterance. Perfect location we could walk everywhere. We were also able to take the train from the airport to Union Station then walk to the apartment. (10 min walk) saved us a lot of money. The apartment was nice and had everything we would need for our stay. It was clean although if you looked very closely you could see a few things were a little warn out. Don’t let this worry you all the perks of this place outweighs the cons by quite a bit. We will stay here again without hesitation.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Close to rogers center and the core of Toronto - Needs some TLC. Needs a deep clean, Room was not ready foe our 3pm check in. Sat in hallway for till 4 until finally I was able to talk to the maid cleaning it.
- Cindy (8/5): Comfortable, Convenient Downtown Apartment - Perfect downtown location. Comfortable and clean.
- Steve (10/5): Condo apartment in residential building - Very comfortable two bedroom apartment with all facilities. Walking distance to all Downton areas. CN Tower and Rogers Centre on next corner. Highly recommended.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Location...Location....Location - Location is Excellent. Clean and roomy. Great Security
- Renae (8/5): Convenient location - There was a manky smell as soon as you walk in. We were advised we had been "upgraded" but the door was missing off the part that the broom ans mop were kept in. No electricity worked in the main bedroom. The other room had no window but had glass panels which meant kids were awake with the light shining in from the lounge area. Would've been good to have a tv in main room.
- Becky Jo (8/5): Great Apartment near Convention Center - This is not a hotel! It is a residential building. As long as you know that going in it is a GREAT place when you have a convention!!! The one thing I found weird was one of the bedroom door's was made of glass and therefore offered no privacy.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Could not check in had to find an alternative. - Security guard DID NOT HAVE KEY as advised. Charged for stay despite inability to gain access.
- Martin (10/5): Helpful staff - They couldn't have been more helpful, a refreshing experience force weary traveller to have people who go the extra mile to help
- CAISSIE (8/5): Amazing size and layout BUT FIX the blinds - I was so impressed when i walked into the condo The size and the layout were spectacular. I was blown away and am definitely going to stay there on my next trip to Toronto. The heat and air conditioning worked fast and you didn't need to wait long for it to heat up is the size of the bathroom counter space. It really needs to be bigger. My one MAJOR complaint is that some of the blinds were missing in both the living room and the bedroom. And since we are directly across from a building that is alot higher than us, the privacy wasn't as private as it could be. You couldn't do anything at night, change ect because it was clear you could see the other apartments and they could see you if any type of light was on. I didn't like that at all
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent locatio! - Excellent location, very nice condo perfect for a few days in the city or a long term stay!
- peter (6/5): Dirty.... - The suite was quite dirty with smearing on the bathroom walls- gross. The Wifi was basically so slow that pages timed out before they could load. Only one key/card. Burnt out lights, no dish soap. The furance closet was totally disgusting.
- Mohammad (10/5): Mohammad - It was pleasure, location was great, the hall carpet needs to be cleaned.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Best location, good size, a little unconventional - This is in the best location for the price. You are staying in an apartment, and not a hotel, so if those are your expectations, you'll be fine. If you're expecting a perfect hotel, you may be disappointed. But can't beat the location!
- Joann (8/5): Excellent location - This was the perfect place to stay while on a trip to see a Jay's Game. We were walking distance to all of the sites we wanted to see and a car rental right there also for our day trip to Niagara.
The rooms do need a bit of maintenance (the blinds didn't close, lamps didn't work, etc.) but nothing too serious.
We had requested two rooms close together, but ended up with one on the 8th and one on the 11th floors. It wasn't a big deal though, but the rooms were different and differently equipped also. The 8th floor room was quite a bit larger, so room for 8 of us to sit around together but the 11th was too small for that. The 1102 room also had a very small second room.
Overall, it was okay room but the location made up for any inadequicies
- Fan (10/5): A nice place for family vacation - We had a family vacation in Toronto and are very happy to stay at Whitehall Suite. In fact, this is not a typical hotel, but an apartment for short term rent. You spent a room price for a two bedroom apt with a living room with dinning area, a kitchen and a full bath. On the dinning table, there are full set of dishes and wine glass. This is a very new and modern apt with floor to ceiling window in living room.
Not like a typical hotel room, you cannot see a long hall way and maid pushing cleaning carts. It is very quite and hard to see one single person. A concierge was in the lobby most of time. The location is superb, five minute walk to CN Tower and a street full of restaurants. I will definitely go back next time.
- The Doc (4/5): Building is central to Toronto - poor quality - The building is in a great location in central Toronto so that you can walk to most things in the downtown. The condition of the suite was poor - no towel rails, no toilet roll holder, fast dripping shower when switched off, water damaged floor in the master bedroom.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good condo in the heart of Toronto - good value - This was a two bedroom condo, one bathroom, full kitchen and living room. It is a secure building, has an elevator. It is very close to everything fun in Toronto, the location is excellent. The price is great for what you get. There are several repairs needed to the condo, but it was clean and spacious. It has a small outside patio as well. Perfect for two to four people. You can't beat the location.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Will search harder for a true hotel next time - First time staying in an apartment type setting without any service at all. Was surprised that I was expected to do towel laundry before I "checked out".
