Tomek (8/5): Relaxing and a perfect place for a short get away within the city. - Amazing staff. I've never had people in Mexico be so helpful, and I've lived here many years. The bed was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel: lots of pillows, very comfortable mattress, variety of harder and softer pillows, clean sheets and towels. Great toiletries that smell lovely. Air conditioning works great and lots of privacy between the rooms. The floor in the upstairs bedroom was dirty. Thankfully they gave slippers. The bathrooms don't have much ventilation and not much space for luggage and minimal closet space in some rooms. The spiral staircase is a bit dangerous.

Anne (10/5): I would happily stay here again. - The breakfast was great. Excellent strong coffee, friendly service, and a nice selection of eggs. And they didn't mind that I showed up shortly before the end of breakfast service each morning. I also found having dinner in the courtyard next to the fountain was very pleasant, and the food was delicious. I loved having a water dispenser in my room, so I didn't have to use multiple plastic bottles. And the toilet! Very fancy! The price of my room was a little high.

They were having a great time reminiscing about the past. We had a blast with him and his wonderful hospitality and pleasant personality. All the staff were wonderful and eager to help in every way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. This location is within walking distance to everything. We will definitely return to this wonderful location pretty soon. We felt like we were with family especially with Charlie. If you are thinking about booking at this location don't think about just do it. You won't regret it! 😄❤️😄❤️ We loved everything!

The restaurant is very good for our dinner. When we visit again we will stay at Hotel Don Jose.

Not in the nice main building., where our car was parked. Shower dirty, AC was not possible yo turn down during the night. Bad for my cold. When I complained I was told, that it was Booking's fault. That they couldn't move us.

L’emplacement était au top pour vadrouiller aux alentours, très intéressants dans la vie mexicaine. La chambre vétuste étroite, ayant besoin d’une sérieuse rénovation.

Luka (9/5): Great location, beautiful hotel - It's a beautiful and quite large boutique hotel, with nice staff and excellent location. My room had a door to a rooftop terrace which is shared with another room. In my opinion it would be nice to make a wall so that each room has their own private terrace. And sound isolation isn't the best as doors are not thick and modern.

Great location. - Excellent location and nice to have a bar and restaurant on site that included a welcome drink! the grounds/courtyard with pool and lounge chairs was very nice. great location and easy to get to the main walking streets. I would recommend they update their linens...the bed was comfortable, but would recommend having nicer sheets (always mention the great quality and price of sheets at Costco....680 sheet count for $70-80 is a deal) and would make the experience even better. having said that, it is a great place, that is safe, clean and comfortable for an outstanding price.

No me gustó tener que tocar cada vez que queria entrar al hotel pero se entiende por la seguridad.

Morgan (10/5): Delightful Hotel in all the BEST ways! 1000000% HAPPY here! - We felt so blessed to be able to stay here! Juan picked us up (and waited while we were delayed.) The food was delicious, the bartender, Charlie, was fantastic, the women cleaners, front staff, and breakfast were amazing! Our room was OFF the charts, unexpectedly gorgeous. My favorite part was the huge tropical plant in the shower, and my spouse's best feature was the arched brick ceiling. We rate this as the best hidden gem.

Anthony (10/5): - Quinta Don Jose was even more wonderful than I remembered from the last time! The room was clean and roomy and the breakfast in the morning was to die for. The grounds are beautiful and green, there's a pond where several turtles call home and are not afraid of people.The Tlaquepaque area has many options for shopping and dining. I highly recommend another relaxing stay at the QDJ!

Margarita (8/5): Buena experiencia - El desayuno estuvo bien, el patio donde se ubica el comedor es muy hermoso, me encantó la naturaleza que rodea el patio. También está muy cerca de la zona céntrica de Tlaquepaque, lo que permite que puedas tener rápido acceso a restaurantes, tiendas, templos y museos. Creo que a la habitación donde estuvimos le falta mantenimiento, pintura y un poco de remodelación se veía como instalación antigua, por otro lado las camas están bien, si descansamos.

Jiea (10/5): - I love this hotel! This was my third stay. The staff is bilingual and the location is just around the corner from the main plaza of Tlaquepaque. The breakfast in the morning is fantastic. I stayed in the two bedroom suite with a bathroom in between both rooms. It was perfect for my travel partner and me- we each had own own spaces, Just Book It!!
Maria (10/5): Excellent stay! - We loved our stay at the hotel, the staff were really friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable with a drinking water dispenser which was a lovely touch . Excellent water pressure in the bathrooms!!! There is a bar and restaurant on the property which were both wonderful. The breakfast was great and the ladies were really lovely and accommodating with my 5 year old daughter. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and well taken care of. Lots of beautiful plants and areas to sit by the pool. We felt really happy and comfortable here and would definitely stay again in the future!

Kate (9/5): Beautiful oasis - Wonderful property, a little oasis in the bustling streets of Tlaquepaque. Great check in time, easy parking. Clean, funky, fabulous food, what more could you want. A little noisy from room 1 in the morning as it's closest to reception so if you are a light sleeper and want a lie in book a different room.
Josef (10/5): Very nice boutique hotel - Only stayed for a night but hotel was super helpful with airport shuttle service and very friendly and welcoming upon arrival. Booked a two room sweet and was impressed with cleanliness and comfort of the room. Would have extended stay if possible.

Staff was great and very helpful. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, a/c worked perfectly. Definitely would stay here again.
