• Ralf (8/5): - Schönes kleines Hotel, familiengeführt, in einer ruhigen und sehr schönen Lage. Zimmer sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Frühstück war klein aber fein und völlig ausreichend. Abendessen sehr schmackhaft. Betreiberfamilie sehr freundlich und nett. Hôtel verfügt über genügend Unterstellmöglichkeiten für Motorräder und Parkplätze für PKW. Alles gut.

• Robert (8/5): Kurztrip (2 Nächte) mit angenehmem Aufenthalt und schönen Ausflügen in die Natur. - Trotzdem das wir nur 3 Gäste waren, war alles was es braucht beim Frühstück in Buffetform vorhanden, sehr gute Brötchen. Die Zimmer sind gross und sauber. Die Wirtin und ihre Mutter sind mit Herzblut bei der Arbeit. Leider war die Küche bei unserem Aufenthalt geschlossen (Wirtesonntage), so dass wir die Kulinarik nicht beurteilen können. Da das Hotel etwas ausserhalb liegt, waren wir gezwungen, mit dem Auto in andere Restaurants zum Essen zu fahren. Allerdings erhielten wir Tips zu guten Alternativen von der Wirtin.

• Marcel (10/5): Een overnachting waard. - Zeer aardig en meedenkend en een mooie omgeving. Ik had heel graag een kamer met balkon maar na een upgrade bleek ik geen balkon te hebben. Ik kreeg gelijk een balkon met balkon en ook de daarbij horende prijs. De upgrade room was een stukje duurder, ik was blij verrast. De jongedame die ons serveerde was heel vriendelijk en geduldig met mijn steenkolen Duits. Ook vond ik de spiegeleieren die als hartjes op mijn bord lagen, helemaal geweldig. Eigenlijk helemaal niets. Vriendelijke mensen, schone en nette kamers. Ook de omgeving is helemaal top, zelfs met regen. En, het eten was goed!

• Andreea (10/5): Excellent stop. We wanted to stay another night but it was fully booked. - Location was great, on a favourite bikers' road. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Room was spacious and comfortable. Great to park the bikes in free parking under cover. Fab to have a terrace off our room. Would benefit from air-conditioning and better toiletries.

• Shabtay (10/5): Absolutely charming little guest house! very much recommended! - Unfortunately, we arrived to the guest house after dark so we missed out on the perfectly beautiful surroundings and the scenery on the way, unfortunately we only stayed for one night but the place itself was just perfect!! although I personally found the place's design a bit outdated, if we put that a side and focus on the important stuff all was just great! The family room was huge and comfy, beds were really nice and general atmosphere was warm and cozy. Breakfast was just perfect I would have loved to get some more veggies at breakfast, there were just a few slices of cucumber and tomato's so most of us had non left but other than that all was perfect and our only dislike is for our plan! we should have planned more nights at this place - we really enjoyed staying with you!!

• Yuhan (5/5): Passable - All clean. There is a big living room for people to hangout No hot water in the night. When I complained to reception next day, they just said I didn't let the water run long enough, even though I let it run for one minute. They don't even feel a bit sorry for that.
• Wei (7/5): Good - The house or appartment is very nice and the room is large and clean. Breakfast is also fine. The location is almost among the mountains or forest, no mobile signal. If you arrive close to the check-in deadline and don't have time for dinner, you will need to drive a few kilometers away after check-in to find a restaurant or supermarket because the hotel kitchen is already closed before you arrive.

• Randy (9/5): Great location to stay for hiking to Allerheiligen Wasserfälle and Klosterruine - Excellent breakfast buffet with cappuccino, coffee, espresso, etc. included with the room. Supper menu was great with many options. Room was very clean with bathroom plus shower and included a balcony with chairs and table. Reception was a little confusing as the restaurant is the main reception desk, but we quickly got it sorted out.

• Gabriela (10/5): Wonderful stay - This hotel is wonderful, located in a beautiful area with a little river nearby. It is quiet and rooms are comfortable, everything is spotless clean and decorated in warm and calm colors. The team here was very welcoming and warm, nice and responsive to our requests. There is also a restaurant with a wide variety of dishes - our choice was absolutely delicious and the service was very good. The breakfast next day had a lot of options suitable for different diets and very tasty. I was impressed by the details like the classical coffee kettle. All in all, our stay here exceeded my expectations and I definitely recommend the hotel and the restaurant.

• Fabio (7/5): Good - The room, the breakfast, the quiet place between a nearby village and the waterfalls, the restaurant in the village (Badischer Hof). Communication for entering the building was difficult. The instructions told us we would find the keys in the box but it did not specify we had to look for the box in the building facing the Hotel entrance. Once we found the keys we could not find the right key for the main entrance and only after several attempt and frustration we simply entered by pulling the door that was open. Of course the message did not say that. Note that there is no 4G signal in the area and the owner did not tell us that the Hotel wifi is open.

That said our stay was great and the food in the restaurant fabulous. Michael was excellent and service superb. Loved our stay and the lovely walks into the Black Forest.
• Keith (10/5): Visit to Black Forest - We stayed three nights in Gasthof Blume. It is located just outside Oppenau, a lovely setting with walks up to the falls starting just outside and a stream running nearby. Good free parking, reception is in the bar/restaurant and staff do speak English. Our room was excellent, quite large, very comfortable, well furnished with plenty of cupboard space. The en-suite is roomy and seemed to have been recently updated. We also had a small balcony. Breakfast was typically continental buffet and had a good range including fruit. We ate in for two nights, the food was good quality and wholesome, helpings were too large for us so we only had mains and coffee. Overall very good quality in a lovely setting.

• Michelle (10/5): A wonderful hotel! - We arrived in the pouring rain, and were made to feel extremely welcome in this beautifully cosy traditional hotel. The hosts were lovely, and the room was really clean and comfortable. A great hotel for families - they have thought of little touches like games and toys for children, and the rooms are well equipped, and have individual balcony areas. The food was outstanding. Our evening meal was by far the best of our entire road trip, and breakfast was excellent. Loved this hotel and we decided on the spot to make it part of next years trip too.

• Norm (10/5): Absolutely loved this hotel! - The location, the staff, the food , the scenery, the walking trails, the room size, the room cleanliness and everything else were wonderful and made this one of my favorite places to stay. The only down side is that the entire nearby town of Oppenau seems to shut down at 5:00 PM (17:00). Fortunately the hotel has a very nice restaurant. Loved the breakfast. The hiking trails which go directly through the hotel property provided a beautiful Black Forest experience.
