• Nicholas (6/5): - My room had a one-off kitchenette that was nice. Some rooms are right on 3rd St., which is 3 lanes one-way. Parking was on an alley around the corner from my room.
• Alex (10/5): - Samanta at reception was very helpful. Even though I couldn’t go on the scheduled day, they gave me the opportunity to postpone it to the next day at no extra cost. I’ll be back for sure.

• Desiree (2/5): - WARNING! Do Not Stay Here! They will charge your card SEVERAL unauthorized charges without your permission. The front desk will not be able to help you because they say only the Manager can run card charges, the manager will tell you she doesn’t know who did it but to call your bank and they should drop off. Fraud! fraud! Fraud! Had to call the police and file a report, report fraud to my bank. Do Not Stay here unless you are ok with over $1600.00 of extra credit card charges done is several dollar amounts.

• Amanda (2/5): - Pros: Reasonable walk to the ferry. Cheap for the island though still over-priced. Recently renovated bathroom. Assigned parking. Comfortable beds. Cons: The walls/ceiling are paper thin. There were really no staff to help with anything. The reception staff unwrapped packages delivered to us at the hotel and looked at the contents on more than one occasion. When we complained about the night club levels of noise happening at midnight above us they said there was nothing they could do about it. The rooms were tiny and cramped so much so that one of the double beds in our room had to be rotated 90 degrees from the other to fit in the room. The ac was more like a weak fan and the room was not cleaned well. It wasn’t filthy but not as clean as I expect at a hotel. The rooms face the major street. In addition to traffic noise, the street lights are bright and the rooms do not have blackout curtains. The regular blinds did not suffice. It felt like day light all night. It was difficult to sleep. Note: to check into this place you have to cross a couple of roads to get to a different hotel reception where you check in.

• Dawn (10/5): Convenient, clean and comfortable. - We arrived very late and there was a lock box ready to do upon arrival. Very easy. Walking distance to all the restaurants on Orange Ave. Fridge and mircrowave for your leftovers. Comfortable beds. Very accomodating. This is my 3rd stay.

The last time we were here was during the height of Covid, and we took a lot of these things w - The only thing that really has going for it is it’s located on Coronado Island. It’s old it’s rundown, we’ve been there before four years ago and it’s gotten worse. Old Shower and plumbing, rooms are not clean. They’re dirty. Found insects, spiders on the bed lots of cobwebs outside. Maintenance knocked on our door and said there was a leak coming from our room down below and they needed to get immediately. Problem must’ve been in the wall. Shower temperature inconsistent. It’s hot. It’s cold.

Smelled like moth balls or some weird smell. I reserved a room at Coronado Inn and was assigned room at their other property across the street. Overall won’t stay there again.
• David (8/5): Coronado Island Inn - This is a decent hotel. My only complaint is the traffic is very loud. The price was great and the hotel is very convenient to resturants and other activities.

• James (6/5): Value for price and location. - Good location as far as getting to shopping and restaurants etc. certainly a good price for the location. Was dated, bedding was lacking as far as fluffy duvet and some pillows were lumpy.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Stay away. Not worth the money - Very old. Split air unit did not work at all. Window unit heat worked (some). Room smelled. Furniture extremly cheap. Only hard chairs to sit in. Everything 30 yeara old. Took 5 mins for the hot water to get to the tap. Room right next to heavy traffic all day and night.
• George (4/5): Noisy hotel - Very BAD experience. We booked the hotel for a the first night of a honeymoon get way. Traffic was loud we hardly slept, it sounded like car were driving through our room, bed was very uncomfortable and super squeaky. And to make things even worse no hot water for showers in the morning. Ask to speak with the GM but they couldn’t troubled to call us back. Definitely will not go back

• Diaz (6/5): As my trip was for relaxing, it worked out for me not to have internet connection. The neighborhood is absolutely the be - The internet does not work correctly across the street and the parking is not correctly organized. People would park on my parking lot and I’d get charged for it
• Guy (4/5): - Loud area. The bed was about the most uncomfortable mattress I’ve ever experienced. Must have been a shared water heater for the building because it wouldn’t get above warm for two days. We asked to change rooms due to the bed issue and noise and the staff moved us without issue- but it was still terrible and we wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless it’s the last option.
• Judy (6/5): - Good location and parking but immediately next to a very busy street and windows were NOT double paned as far as I could tell. Coffee maker great, however no regular coffee in room, only decaf, and office was across 2 major streets. Nice bathroom, heater worked for cold-blooded me, 2 blankets available. TV worked but channel choices was limited. Bikes available and a great area to walk with a beautiful view of downtown San Diego and a great area to walk- beautiful neighborhoods nearby.

Water takes a bit to get warm for the shower but they are still remodeling a room or two on the property so that could be why. • Ernie (10/5): Great stay - Check in was super smooth, Cheryl was great. Only a couple blocks from the ferry landing with lots of places to get food and drinks there and along the way. Just a hop, skip and a jump from the Hotel Del and everything in that direction. Would definitely book again.

So we tried getting a refund which they stated that"they can't offer refunds or partial refunds for cancellation due to hotel policy" I was okay with a partial refund but they refused. So they can keep my money and rent it out the room to make more money. Not good business. Don't use a 3rd party hotel service, the hotel gets paid before you show up.

At check-in we were not given a phone number to call the office. This property was owned by another property which was across the intersection.

Basic amenities like toilet paper was not available. I had to go to the main desk which is across a busy street to get anything that I needed. I had guest come knock on my door at around midnight to quiet down. I understood we may have been a little loud. But I wished it came from someone that was from the hotel. Not a random person. The checkout on phone feature was good along with staff at check in was positive. Just some issues. All and all, I got what I paid for but in the future may stay somewhere else on Coronado, if at all. I was attending TwitchCon so it was a bit out of the way. May look at booking downtown next year and just visit Coronado.
