- adisaktya (10/5): Room Suite is very good and cozy - A cool hotel in Bandung - I really enjoyed staying at Indies Bandung on Jan 18th 2025 ago. The location of the hotel is not far from the city center and very close to Bandung Railway Station. Very strategic and easy to buy food, and close to groceries.
The hotel General Manager, Mr. Adit, I was allowed to check in early and I got a free room upgrade to Suite class. The room atmosphere is comfortable, clean, the mattress is soft and very spacious. Next time if you stay here if it fits your budget, choose a Suite room, because the room has a large family room.
The hotel staff is very friendly, helpful and responsive in greeting every guest who comes. The fast check-in process, fairly fast wifi and good room cleanliness are added value for guests who stay here.
Next I will stay at the Indies Bandung hotel. Thank you.

- 258arryw (10/5): clean and comfort - I was there with my family, when I want to go back to my city by train. I choose this hotel due to the location that close enough to the train station and clean. The price is also fair enough and the staff is friendly.
- Tyo78 (10/5): Suitable for Leisure and Business - This hotel is nice, clean and staffs are friendly.
Huge room, Location is strategic at central of Bandung, near to commercial and business district such as Pasar Baru , Paskal and Train Station.
Recommended hotel for leisure or business stays purpose and the price is make sense.

- JKPerdana (8/5): Pleasant stay experience - I enjoyed my stay at Fabu Hotel Kebonjati Bandung, everything was great, staff was responsive, and I love the location and space given. However, no coffee and tea available at the room despite they provided water kettle, plus the hot shower wasn't always available (only running it for short time), other than that, everything was fine.

- elizabethcI8763GF (6/5): Comfortable room but could improve the facilities - Booked 2 rooms here for a night but the other room had no TV. There was connecting door in between 2 of our rooms. Rooms were clean and comfortable but the toilet didn’t work well. Security guar was helpful as he helped guest parking the cars just like valet service. Location was perfect because it was surrounded by convenience stores and eating places (restaurants and street food)
- muhammadharland (10/5): Good Staying Experience - I stayed at Fabu Hotel for one night and it was a pleasant stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the location was also at the heart of the city (near train station, Pasar Baru, Alun Alun and the Grand Mosque. The price was fair. The only feedback was the room was a bit humid when we first enter however it can be solved by letting the sunlight in. I would give an overall of 5/5 if the breakfast was also great. Since we leave early, at 3 in the morning, we did not get the chance to try the food so we gave an overall 4/5.
- Nadia21114 (8/5): Great hotel! - Staff were very helpful. Extremely close to Bandung Station although you have to walk around to use the front entrance if you are travelling long distance. Rooms are very spacious if you have lots of luggage and the bed was comfortable. Alfamart close by also for refreshments or necessities. Walking distance to Pasar Baru & other shopping place. Worth staying here for the amount you paid for.
- pindr91_hotelsoul (4/5): FABU Hotel, unfortunately NOT FABULOUS service yet - I stayed at Fabu Hotel for 1 night on early of november. I encountered multiple inconvenience issues during my stay. I have addressed my issues to Hotel Management directly, however I feel that it is still important to share my feedbacks in Trip Advisor, to emphasize to Hotel Management how important the issues that need their immediate resolutive action for better service in the future.
Here are the details:
1. I arrived at 2.40 PM to do check in and my room was not ready. I need to wait for 20 minutes till my room ready. Whilst the hotel’s policy for check in time is 2 PM. However, I still can understand this, since the hotel is on busy situation during the weekend.
2. I requested 1 bed but got 2 beds. That’s fine for me and I specifically mentioned in my reservation that if I got 2 beds, I need the beds to be combined. I also addressed this to Front Desk. However, the bed is not combined yet once I entered the room, I then was informed that Housekeeping will help me to combine the beds. So the beds are combined whilst I was in the room, which was kind of frustrating especially when I waited for my room to be ready already. Whilst seeing the housekeeping attendant made up the bed, I accidentally saw big spot on the bed which is according to my oppinion, it shouldn’t be set up for the guest, it needs to be cleaned up. I also found spot on the bed sheet.
3. The most dissatisfaction part is the availability of towels. I didn’t get my towels which I was informed by the staff that hotel has limited towels and having issue with laundry vendor caused of the delay of towels delivery to the hotel and the staff informed me that towels were only available at 6 PM which is unacceptable! The towels and bathmat were not set up in the room. I only got my 1 towel by insisting to the staff to have towel since I really need to take shower. I asked front desk associate, does towels issue happen quite often, she said yes and the front desk need to deal with guest with this kind of silly issue. If this story true, I feel sorry to the front desk staff, because it wasn’t their fault. Beside it is very unsafety with the bathroom floor, if they didn’t set up the bathmat in the room, once guest finish taking shower, it was very slippery.
4. When I entered the bathroom, I found the bathroom floor on the corner is wet. I asked the housekeeping staff to check whether there was leaking, he then checked that it was fine unless the housekeeping staff before didn’t clean the area properly. I also found the shower area was smelly (smells like urine), the housekeeping staff then helped me to spray with air refresher. I also found moldy on the edges of shower area.
5. I tried to finish my paper work then I decided to go down to the restaurant at around 4 PM. I found the restaurant was empty, till I went to Front Desk and asked whether the restaurant open or not, front desk then made a call, then the waiter came out from back office. I then sat down and I was offered a menu, then the waiter is gone again. Wait for several minutes for the waiter to go back to the restaurant till I can placed my order. There were 3 or 4 staff at restaurant but they were busy at back office and were preparing for their BBQ event on that evening, but still at least 1 person need to stand by to take care the customer.
6. I ordered 1 prost beer since I saw it on the bar table.!Here is the funny story, the waiter served me a hot beer, with a glass of ice cube and straw! I then complained to the waiter this is the wrong way to serve a beer. The waiter apologized to me and excuse himself that the beer just arrived, hence the beer is still hot. He then took out my beer and informed that he will put it in freezer first then will bring it back to me. I was speechless on that time.
7. I saw the menu and there was no french fries on the menu, I then asked the waiter should it available and he said yes then I ordered it. Later on, it came and it served with sausages. I then asked the waiter that I only ordered French fries not sausages. He said that it is included already, I said ok. Then later on when I paid, I saw the bill with names: Sausages and Fries. I spoke again to the waiter this is improper way to sell item to the customer, he then said – you just can’t only ordered a French fries. What an answer.
8. I then paid my bill, willing to pay by debit card since I saw EDC Machine there. Waiter informed me that they only accept cash. I then asked him, Why do you have EDC Machine if you only accept cash? He said that there was a problem with system so they can only accept cash. I then saw the bill and asked him – why the beer is hand written not put in system not like the French fries one, he said that the beer is not available in system yet. I just can’t accept the story. I have raised up this to the management and has been informed that they will investigate further and hopefully the management will update me the result of what is the real story.
After all the inconveniences happened, I went to Front Desk and was ready to blow up. I was handled by Vira; her hospitality, smile and calm reaction, able to calm me down. So I then just asked the manager email address in order to share my complaints in details and make it formal complaints.
My email then responded by Pak Affan - Manager on Duty in charge who then offered me to join complimentary BBQ dinner which I refused since I had bad experience on their restaurant already and I don’t need any compensation, but I only need proper follow up and clarification. However Pak Affan showed good gesture to approach me in regards of my complaints. Even though I told him that I prefer my complaints are responded by senior management due to multiple issues that I faced and matter of fact that only senior management that can make a corrective decision to prevent my experience happen again in the future, example towel problem. And seems he delivered the message to his Hotel Manager, which then Hotel Manager responded my email.
I also highlighted to the Hotel Manager, that my intention in writing the complaints is NOT to get or have any compensation or complimentary things but pure as customer who really upset and expect proper explanation and follow up from the hotel management. And I believe that the feedbacks are good as reflector for hotel’s services that can be used for hotel future improvements. So the other guest in the future will not experience the same problem like I had.
I really hope that they listen to my feedbacks and really take action to resolve those errors. As I see the hotel is really promising and located in very strategic location which is a very good option to the guest who travels to Bandung.

- darfanw (6/5): great location and wifi but.... - excellent staff with a spacious room, large window ( i requested the room in the east row so the sunshine could get into the room in the morning) and fast wi-fi but dusty... the bed sheet has some dirty spots. be careful of big mineral bottle they provide in the room which are paid items..
- 358zakir (8/5): Worth the money - Simplistic room, rather nice services, strategic location, friendly people, not much to say.. if actually looking for budget stay with complete services and quite easy to reach area fabu hotel is just right with formidable price, and delicious meal.
- rachman_key (8/5): Spacious Room, Excellent Location - Our room was on the second floor with our window facing east which, unfortunately, was a three-floor dilapidated building nearby the hotel. However, our room was quite spacious for a standard/superior class. The bed was big and comfortable. We had a wide array of TV channel selection. Due to the hotel's eco-friendly policy, hot water only runs for 5 minutes, after which we had to wait for about 10-15 minutes before using it again. This policy itself is both a blessing and a curse I would say; we are able to contribute to save the earth while at the same time, get frozen by the cold water when showering at night. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
- ajengayutitah (10/5): great hotel near rail station! - it's a great hotel near pasar baru (market), rail station and 'angkot' station. you can easily walk to grocery shop. they have a good restaurant too! nice room and large room with wi-fi in room. they also have musholla!
- ArindraD2 (8/5): Clean Hotel - The hotel is clean, and the staff is helpful enough. But.. the environment around hotel is terrible. If i have to go to Bandung again, maybe will try another hotel. But, if you go to Bandung by train, maybe this hotel will be a good choice for you because it's location close to Bandung Railway Station.

- sophieyyy (8/5): Easy to get grab car. - The hotel is located in a busy road, about 300meter from bandung angkot station. You can easily walk there, if wanna give a try to angkot. Alfomart is near to angkot station but you need to cross the road.
Pascal 23 mall is walking distance but still you need to cross a busy road. Be careful. If you wanna shopping to Pasar Baru, just grab a car. Only 10k rupiah if I'm not mistaken, because the location is near. And this hotel or even any bandung city is easy to get a grab car. Buy a kartu sim(simcard) XL Rp40k for 8gb. (The price may change)
I have no problem with their room. Have kettle, tea, coffee, safety box, a chair, a sofa, tv, a mirror, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and for Malaysian, they have Malaysian plug here, only one, others is local plug. Water heater, everything is okay. But the toilet is lacking.
They provide iron, lift, simple breakfast. Come early because they didn't refill. Have fun!
- teflon3916690 (6/5): Hot water in room # 207 was working ONLY for 5 minutes,after that COLD Water....Shower - I don't remember my room number on the 2nd floor, Room # 207 and it's located on the 2nd floor, if I am NOT Mistaken, HOT water for taking shower was working temporarily for 5-10 minutes period,......and after that COLD Water Shower for Bandung city is a way too COLD.....and Hotel Staff said that its being programmed to be running hot water only during that that period of time 5-10 minutes ONLY.....for green saving energy.............anyway, Wifi was working fine and Okay for my I Phone cell phone in the room....Room was a double bed and BIG size.....the electronic key was NOT working when I tried to open the door in my room, and a Hotel staff had to help me to come over to open the door, and the hotel staff said the whole room had problem with the key electronically....so closed to Santosa Hospital in Bandung.......and Air Conditioning was Okay and Cold during my staying there.....thanks a lot......

- Liz (8/5): Great place to stay - Fabu hotel had a great location. We had a room on the top floor with a nice view. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The only downside was breakfast. There was not much to choose from and the options weren't very good. Some of the hotel staff spoke limited English, weren't able to really help. Wanted to book an extra night, ended up booking online. Had a great time, would definitely come back to fabu again.
- Renaldo (10/5): Strategic hotel that worth it :) - This is hotel with very strategic location, we can reach it easily especially from train station. Access also very easy since a lot of "Angkot" pass by this location. The only disadvantage is very limited parking area, so you need to park on the street in front of the hotel.

- Fareena (4/5): Cheap but a little dirty - We went into the room and found the bedsheets to be dirty with shoe marks (like someone walked on it with shoes on). The room also had some dead bugs on the floor. Bathroom towels provided but looked dirty. Not the clean white fresh linen that hotels normally provide. Breakfast was not too bad.
