Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything was fab perfect view place was clean plenty room lovely bathrooms and heating was great!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The property is very tired, especially the kitchen which is in a poor state of repair. No welcome tea or coffee which is a basic service for a hotel. Small outdated tv xnd very noisy from outside due to poor secondary glazing. Bedd were comfortable and bathroom facilities were good and parking was secure.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Property was in a great location. They quickly found us a dryer rack for drying our clothes. Parking lot was very tight and room needed a bit of updating.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - abbastanza vicino al centro, portieri 24h molto disponibili, appartamento comodo, bagno pulito ma da ristrutturare
- Katrina (10/5): - Very good experience. Looking forward to staying again.
- Paul (8/5): - Comfortable. Good open space. A bit worn.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Pros: very spacious 2 bed apartment in a convenient part of town. Plenty to do/eateries within walking distance. Enormous main bathroom and perfectly adequate second bathroom. Large windows with views over the city. ( not necessarily all nice views but fine). Easy check in with a concierge and parking on site. Concierge allowed us to park until 2pm on the day of check out which was very useful. Large lounge with tv. We didn’t use the kitchen but it seemed to have the facilities you would need to cook. I loved the memory foam mattress in the main bedroom. Showers were powerful.
Cons: used to be an old office block so a bit soulless and sparse. Could do with a few items to make it more homely such as pictures on the wall, soft furnishings,a comfy chair in the main bedroom etc. The large windows were covered only with blinds. I didn’t find that a problem but my partner said it was a bit light in the early morning, waking him up. The jacuzzi bath did not work. We could not get the tv in the small bedroom to work. The boiler made a ridiculously loud noise when a shower was on. Check in was quite late at 4pm and check out was too early at 10am. Expensive for such a short stay. Later and earlier than most hotels. We were woken by very loud arguing by a group of people in the early hours so not really a quiet area.
However, in spite of all that, I would recommend a short stay there if there are 4 of you, due to the space, convenience and comfy main bed.
- Trevor (8/5): Modern spacious apartment in City centre - The apartment is in a converted office block. Nicely done with big windows. Large rooms and we'll equipped kitchen. Bathroom ample too. Central city position. My room had a view of the back of a historic tennament.
- Diane (8/5): Amazing View and comfortable. - We were greeted by friendly staff. The accommodation had an amazing view of the city. The apartment was comfortable and very clean. It was also very close to the city centre - cafes, shops ,supermarket and cinema are 5 minutes walk. Would stay again.
- Sandra (10/5): Big comfortable apartment in convenient location - We really liked our apartment. We could live here. A very spacious living room with a big open plan kitchen and decent sized bedrooms. A shower room plus a big bathroom with large shower off the main bedroom. Loads of cupboard space and comfortable beds. Everything was clean, and the towels were nice and fluffy. The reception staff were lovely. It's not the most beautiful building, but in a very convenient location as a short walk to Buchanan street and the centre. Some of the decor a little tired, but very good value.
- Verified traveler (8/5): City centre apartments - Central Location with paid parking. Apartment seems rarely used so gave a smell of closed rooms.
- Miriam (8/5): Recomendado - El dpto está muy Bueno y bien ubicado y además dispone de cochera.
- Tracy (10/5): Girly break - We were 3 friends having a regular break away. Usually opt for a self catering country location with facilities but decided on a city break this time. We really enjoyed our stay at The Loft Apartments. amazing views over the city as on 13th floor! Check in was stress free and underground parking a bonus in the city. Apartments are very minimalist (which I like) but quite basic. No complimentary tea or coffee, sugar etc. which is helpful when you arrive. We didn't intend to do much cooking or entertaining but if you had wanted to then I think you would have struggled! Overall we had a great stay, centrally located so can walk most places. Staff very helpful and the use of leisure facilities at nearby Hilton was a bonus too!
- Silvia (10/5): Very big and comfortable appartement - The appartement was well equipped and offered two very spacious bedrooms one of which with its own bathroom. The living area, with the kitchen on one side, was spacious and very well decorated. It was a very pleasant stay.
- Laurie (10/5): Fantastic apartment with amazing view! - This is a fantastic place to stay in Glasgow! I would go back here whenever I could. It was just a beautiful place to stay.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Dobt stay here if you want sleep. - Great people, nice staff. Horrible flat. Floors are so loud you can't walk when someone is sleeping. Can't use toilets when someone is sleeping. Absolutely horrible for noise all night long and trucks smashing unloading gates from 6 in the morning on right outside the windows. Didn't sleep for three days here.
- Amanda (10/5): Fantastic loft! - Amazing views and right next to the main shopping area. Later check out possible for an extra £10 an hour. Perfect spot to stay
- Nicola (8/5): - Very good value but the apartment was quite worn and spoiled by poor finishing including tv cables, the plumbing making a terrific racket and the windows between the living room and one of the bedrooms having come off their tracks. Also the blinds don't keep out any light. However the apartment was nice and spacious, clean and comfortable. And the location is great for the city centre.
- Rebecca (6/5): Cheap enough but not the cleanest or quietest! - On first appearances this seemed like a lovely apartment, however the longer you spent in it the more you noticed the grubbiness. There was a broken socket in the main hallway with wires sticking out, the extractor hood was filthy with thick dust, thick dust on all the window ledges too. There was a ruined floorboard by the window in the main bedroom too, which I tripped over. This was all superficial however the noise made by the pipes every time the toilet, shower or taps were used was absurd!! And there are multiple nightclubs right outside so if it's a quiet night you want, I don't recommend it!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good nights stay - Great apartment. Good location and parking. Friendly staff. Down sides - Twin room door was off its runners so couldn't be closed. Ensuite shower wasn't very good at holding steady temperature.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great space, good service - Great stay
- 3 mums (8/5): Centrally located - Rooms clean, plenty of space in main living areas and main bedroom. Little neat in twin room, however, offered exactly what we needed for our overnight visit to Glasgow. Only problem was heating and would advise checking this if here in winter, ours didn't work.
- Julie (8/5): Spacious apartment in city center - We spent two nights here. City center location convenient to train stations, shopping, restaurants. Two bedrooms and two baths. Nice en suite has large tub and walk-in shower. Lots of storage. Combo lounge, dining, kitchen with wall of windows. Floor-to-ceiling windows both bedrooms. Apartment overlooks Renfrew Street and city center. Typical city noises can be muted by closing the windows. Efficient washer/dryer. Comfy beds. Some minor sprucing up in the apartment would be nice, but the location and spaciousness make this a good apartment. Building has 24 hour concierge and several lifts. Staff excellent.
- Melody (10/5): - This place was awesome!! Would highly recommend. The staff was so friendly and helpful
- Claire (8/5): spacious and comfortable - Apartment very spacious and comfortable with good facilities.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Apartment stay - Great for friends going to gigs, big living area , kitchen , dining open plan. Maybe getting a bit dated and showers could do with a clean round the base. Not good if you want to invite a friend to your room, only named guests allowed. Would use again
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very helpful staff - Was on a work trip, there was some mixup by hotel.com app but staff was very helpful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location and comfortable for a Glasgow stay - Maybe some shampoo etc and tea, coffee, milk would have been good.
- Fran (8/5): Flexible accommodation close to centre of Glasgow - Glasgow Lofts offers apartment-style accommodation so you can do your own catering if you prefer (with good kitchen/dining facilities). We did just that one evening as we needed to eat before leaving at 6.15 one evening for the theatre.
We hadn't actually intended staying in a self-catering place but it was the only (just) affordable place we could get that was in central Glasgow and available for our dates.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Great apartment and nicely furnished. However, could not access wifi at all and ended up having to pay for BT Openzone - not ideal when you're on a business trip. Also disappointed by "luxury" toiletries being a soap dispenser over the bath on bed 1 but nothing in the shower! For a luxury penthouse they could also stretch to glass or ceramic tumblers at the sink instead of cheap throwaway plastic!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel - I stayed just one night with a friend because we went to a gig and would be late to come back home. The hotel is nice, comfortable, clean, however it was not easy to turn on the heating and the warm shower.
- Carol J (10/5): Glascow apt. - though difficult to find because the 3 in the address 134 was missing, upon arrival the concierge was friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is perfect for going to concerts, visiting the Glasgow School of Art and Kelvingrove Museum. The room has a stunning view and comfy bed. Very nice!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect - What a fantastic find. We stayed in a lovely apartment on a high floor with a fantastic view of Glasgow. Very hand to the shops. Mary on the front desk is a gem, so helpful. We look forwrad to staying again
- mkj (8/5): Nice with a spectacular view - Rooms had great view, were comfortable, and spacious. Having a kitchen was a huge plus!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Lovely rooms - fatastic value , good location , good secure parking for a low price
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice apartment with a beautiful view. - It was a really good stay, and there were all the facilities needed, however the only down fall is that you are not allowed any guests up in the apartment which ruined my birthday surrprise.
- Bryan D. (8/5): Great location incredible views definitely stay again - Really great spot ideal to Dave friends visit and have dinner. Central to everything shops stores and amenities great
- VMCK (10/5): WONDERFUL APARTMENTS - I loved every second I stayed here. Everything was just right from the cleanliness of the rooms to having all the utilities you could need. Staff were friendly and helpful
- Etwells (8/5): Great Location, very roomy - Large apartments with windows ceiling to floor. We had 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms, large open kitchen dining and lounge room. The apartments need some maintenance work but this didn't hinder with our stay. Great location close to transport, shops, pubs etc.
- whydoIneedthis (6/5): Glasgow lofts - Great modern interior. However the doors shut heavily. Location is good though it is facing the back of the grocery store with early morning deliveries. The staff sure needs that special something, I mean customer orientation.
- North East Traveller (8/5): A weekend break - Very convenient and reception staff helpful (including findinfg second bedroom!). Experience would have been improved with a welcome pack of some milk and coffee, although it is quite handy for Tesco metro.
- Anonymous (10/5): Conveniently located;Car parking - Conveniently located;Car parking a problem, having to ask for and return a key on every entry/exit. Hole in wardrobe door, light switches pushed in, scratched flooring.Iron did not work, borrowed one from neighbouring appt.Oven difficult to figure out.Pleasant concierge, helpful.
