- Verified traveler (2/5): Need credit card. Don’t pay online. - It didn’t state anywhere that we’d need a credit card upon check-in. We paid online and got to the motel and couldn’t even stay. It also didn’t state anywhere that you have to check in at the hotel beside here, the Ramada I think.

- Lloyd (6/5): Good stay - Check in was fine. The room had cigarette burns and there was a centipede on the pillow when i first went into the room after I checked in. The bed was comfortable and the hot water was great.

- Diane (8/5): - It was very nice overall. Friendly staff, lovely breakfast, nice room layout. It however needs safety bars in the bathroom. I fell on the slippery wet floor (missed tge towel i put down as a mat). I was barely able to walk 2 weeks later and had some beautiful bruising. I literally could not get up because it was so slippery, the door opens inward and there just happened to be a fat old lady laying on the floor in the way of getting help. I really needed safety bars. The rooms are good value for a good price. I may have to pay more for the safety bar option from now on.

- Brayden (4/5): - Stayed for one night, no tv and no wifi, hotel did not seem interested in fixing it. Also no sign to say check in is in the Ramada lobby as this hotel does not have a lobby of its own. All and all very disappointed
- Elias (10/5): - This property was a bit of hidden gem, as it's actually run by the Ramada just across the parking lot. So cleaning standards are at that level. I also found that we were able to take advantage of the Ramada's breakfast facilities as well. Was great for an overnight, would repeat. Great value for money.
- Matthew (2/5): Avoid this dump - This hotel was absolutely disgusting. The bathtub was filthy, the sheets were dirty, it looked oike it hadnt been clean in months. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. Two thimbs down.

- Cristina (6/5): - Property improved greatly since last time I visited. Yet, half of the rooms at Chinook are located close to a car wash, and there is a constant flow of vehicles flowing by. There is also limited breakfast choice-- heavy on protein, not that great for vegetarians. Furniture, bath tub, blanket, drapes, etc, show wear and tear, and so are towels. Price I paid/night is high considering.
- April (8/5): - We stayed there last night and went to have a shower was completely plugged full of hair, wrappers and everything we managed to clean it up and try to make it work, but nope, it was still plugged. But besides that it was very clean as I’m a head of housekeeper at my job. I would stay there again!!

- Heloise (8/5): Good value, tidy rooms, great breakfast! - Came to Lethbridge to do a first aid course. Hotel was clean, spacious and tidy. Free morning breakfast was great! Full breakfast with eggs, waffles, sausage or bacon, toast, fruit and yogurt. Good value for both the room and breakfast! Would recommend for a quick overnight stay!

- Alex (10/5): - Traditional old style motel, dated furniture, microwave/smallfridge, flat screen tv and very clean. Bonus was hot breakfast in the Ramada Inn right next to the motel. You have to check in there for your room key.
- Carey (4/5): - We knew this was an older hotel but we were disappointed in our room. There was remnants on the floor of either previous occupants or the door being ajar for an extended period. Grass and feathers were found in bathroom. We had to kill about six flies as soon as we arrived. Fridge was working. Didn’t try microwave. It appears that this motel was purchased by Ramada which is right next door. The main sign for this motel was missing. The room has paper thin walls we could hear TV and in middle of night, we could hear our neighbor snoring. Traffic noise was minimal. Good location. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping and theatre. Check in at Ramada. Signage was poor.

- Taina (4/5): - I’ve stayed at this motel multiple times and usually had no complaints. The breakfast is great for a motel, and the staff has generally been helpful. However, my most recent stay was disappointing. I noticed a strong sewer smell in my room that lasted throughout the day, and when I asked for help from the front desk, the staff seemed annoyed and didn’t offer a real solution other than moving me to a smoking room. The next morning, I was able to move back to a non-smoking room, which was a relief. Later that night, the power in my room went out (except for the air conditioning and alarm clock) after using the microwave. The front desk informed me that maintenance had left for the day and she couldn’t fix the issue or even access the breaker. I spent the entire night without power, and there was no follow-up or apology the next morning when the power finally came back on. I was really disappointed with how the situation was handled and expected better customer service. Hopefully, this was just an off experience, but I feel like this could have been managed better.

- Jaida (2/5): - The receptionist was rude, it was quite hard to find the intake office which is actually another hotel all together. And it's a motel that will not take a cash deposit, debit or any type of payment besides a credit card.

The check in process was a bit slow considering there were no other guests aside from us. We did a very late check in and one would think that they would be ready for us. The light switch was connected with the fan so everytime you turn the lights on this loud fan would be on which is a bit iritating.
- Julie (2/5): - Under both beds in my room had lots of garbage(potato chip bag full of a can & other garbage, bed skirts were dripping of dry stains, fridge didn't work, no place to plug in coffee maker & lamp,provided, 2nd night, lost my parking spot provided with the room as a large truck with a long cargo trailer parked across 5 spots, with the owners up & talking in front of my door starting at 5am until I checked out. The manager did not acknowledge these issues & did not apologize for inconveniences, nor would they compensate any refund.

- David (4/5): - Didn't expect much for the price, but the rooms were "smoking" which I wasn't aware of, and the smell was horrendous. I could not sleep in there. But the staff at their sister hotel next door at least gave me a discount to upgrade to the tower building at a discount. Chinook Motel is the epitome of what you think of with the word "motel".
- Simon (8/5): - This is an old outdated Motel, it doesn't even have its own lobby. But it was clean and I had two excellent nights of sleep. I was worried the commercial car wash in front of my room would be noisy, but no, it was actually very quiet once inside the room. I was pleasantly surprised. Complimentary breakfast was good, Wifi was fast. I recommend for a good night of sleep on a budget.
