- Renee (9/5): -
- John (9/5): Eazy, clean, and quiet - One of the best breakfasts for my 2 week trip
- R5789PRkimg (8/5): One Night Stay - Stayed one night with my pup ($25 per night fee) and room was fine (older building) with a nice looking pool down the hall. Two floors only. Older style heating system but worked. TV didn’t work at first but Megan from front desk came to help with that. Bathroom area was nice with a bottle of shampoo and conditioner. I would stay again if price reasonable. My normal hotel is Hyatt but their pet fee is $75
- Charlotte (10/5): - The price and service The pool isn't heated and the hidabed was uncomfortable
- Sovandara (10/5): -
- Vasilii (10/5): -
- Jennifer (5/5): -
- Loren (8/5): -
- Jean (4/5): - Location to highway was great. Breakfast was average. Gross bathroom. Sheets with stains. Felt dirty.
- Jacob (5/5): - Our room had moldy window curtains as well as the air handler was moldy in the vent.
I discovered a bloody sputum covered tissue as well as a chewed up laser, the type used for pets to chase that was left in the room. Overall condition and cleanliness of the rooms seem like they could use some improvement.
Otherwise staff were very pleasant and professional.
- Julianna (7/5): We had a pleasant stay. - Breakfast was offered during a broad time range, and the food available was plentiful, diverse, and of reasonable quality. The attendant did an excellent job keeping the dining area clean and supplied. Overall, the service was friendly and competent. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower had adequate hot water and pressure. The swimming pool was also clean. Checking in and out was quick and easy. We had a rather noisy HVAC unit, and I thought we must be near the laundry as we could hear what sounded like a washing machine agitating at various times. The microwave didn't work.
- Tim (3/5): No sleep, due to smoke alarm. Should have been some one there. - Great location The smoke alarm had low battery in the middle of the night. No one was at the front desk.
- Stephen (8/5): -
- Williams (7/5): - Not full of druggies My bookings app screwed me because i only once checked my check indate
- Marie (5/5): We will never choose this type of place to stay. - It was convenient for a funeral we attended. The room was below par. Bathroom was awful. Not sure the carpet was ever shampooed. Microwave was questionable. We just felt AmericInn was quite below par.
- adamson (4/5): The one lady on staff was excellent but the rest of the stay felt like we stayed at a cheep hotel. - The price and location of where we were. The lady that checked us in was very nice and helpful. She got me new sheets after finding semen on them. It seemed like she was the only one there and was holding herself professionally. There was semen on the bed. The sheets were not changed. The toilet was constantly running. The tub was rusted and not clean. Didn't take a chance with a shower.
- Tina (9/5): -
- Tammy (10/5): Facility was very clean quiet and very comfortable stay - Pool room very nice cleaned and very quite NA
- Silvia (8/5): - Nice and clean Location.
Breakfast 😵💫
- Siegmund (10/5): - Nice and quiet
- Mary (6/5): - Didnt use the laundry, but everything in the room was clean & tidy, although I wish that they used better pillows.
- Aric (10/5): - The shower is the hottest I've ever had in a hotel! It's awesome! The only negative is some of the grassy areas have sand burrs and there's a car dealership next to them that takes a lot of the parking spots. Other than that, the breakfast is very good, staff are great, and it's extremely reasonably priced for the product.
- Emily (10/5): - Staff was very friendly. Bed was comfortable, room was clean
- Geri (2/5): - 1st night I checked in TV didn’t work so it was switched out. The 2nd night the new tv didn’t work again so they had to call someone. The knob to turn the shower on had so much rust behind it I was afraid if I pulled the handle it would fall off. There was a slow water stream from the tub faucet that couldn’t be shut off. Was going to use the ironing board but the cover had so many stains on it I was afraid my shirt would be ruined. There was plaster on the wall from holes that were covered. I was definitely not impressed and will not choose this hotel for future trips.
- RITESH (6/5): - not cleaned room or changed towels
- James (7/5): -
- William (10/5): - Shopping options? In Branson? Way more than we were interested in.
- Jakob (8/5): - Had what we needed, especially for the price. Room was a bit warm but cooled down quickly.
- John (10/5): - Clean quiet room.
- Jeannine (10/5): - Room was great and bed comfortable. Breakfast was varied…the best options I’ve ever encountered in a motel. The area around the hotel was clean and well maintained. I will book this chain again based on my stay last night!
- Kevin (6/5): - This hotel was barely okay. The a/c was not turned on so our room was very hot when we arrived. It took a while for it to get comfortable. Our room had many maintenance issues. The pocket door didn't work so it was impossible to get ready in the morning without waking someone else. The toilet/bath area was the smallest space I've seen in a room considered a "suite". The shower rod was bent down so the shower curtain only stayed in the middle of the tub getting everything wet outside the shower. Also the shower plumbing squealed very loud. Between the water damaged refrigerator cabinet and peeling paint on the wall, it doesn't appear the owners of this hotel are concerned with upkeep. Breakfast was a standard continental meal but the small dining area was too crowded for us to get anything without waiting in line, so we opted to eat elsewhere.
- Vahidin (6/5): - Rooms are clean but hotel is old and pool has mold around drainage. Overall is good value for the money.
- Malaki (8/5): - It was a great overnight stay for the price. Good value!
- Ramiza (10/5): - Okay
- Esad (10/5): - Rooms are clean and bathroom, did not like smell inside and outside. Kids says pool is nice.
- Kenneth (8/5): - Breakfast room was well attended. Not a huge spread but acceptable for this level of accommodations. Pool was OK. Nice big TV with some movie channels.
- Richard (8/5): - I wish you would install handicap toilet in all your rooms. This would save common folks of trying to get their butts off the toilet when it sits so close to the floor.
I hadto extend my stay, so I reserved an accessible room with a walkin shower since I'm in a locked leg brace. This way, I don not have to bend my leg to try to shower in a tub and the tub/shower combos aren't at all big enough for a larger person.
- Richard (10/5): - Staff was very helpful
- Nicole (6/5): - Nice employees. Better breakfast than expected for the price. Room was a bit dusty and the shower dripped. It it didn’t disturb my sleep and quick stay.
- Aaron (8/5): -
- Kassidy (10/5): - Stayed here unexpectedly for 2 weeks and a few days. Staff were super nice and helpful. Can’t beat the suite I had for the price I was paying either. 1015 Clinton Ave
- Judith (10/5): - Very close and convenient to I-80
- Daniel (10/5): - Very friendly staff, quiet location.
- Mary (10/5): - First time at an American and very impressed. Will return and continue to use them in the future.
- Cambri (8/5): - Decent hotel for the price, in some areas the hotel room was a bit dirty could use a deep clean. I did not realize beforehand that it is a pet friendly hotel so there was a bit of barking. The breakfast was pretty standard.
- lisette (10/5): - close to i80, nice pool, decent breakfast, friendly staff
- Randy (9/5): - was just what I needed for a quick in and out stay, worked well for me. price was good.
- Matthew (10/5): - Beds are comfortable, continental breakfast is a good variety, staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, great water pressure in the showers, zero complaints, great stay, thank you.
- King (8/5): I got what I expected, and I was satisfied. -
- Kathy (8/5): - This was a basic hotel with basic amenaties, but it was clean, the pool was nice, and the bed was comfortable!
- rodney (10/5): - Everything was nice
- Neil (2/5): - I was treated rudely. I needed WiFi for my studies, but they seem completely unconcerned about making sure it works. The staff treated me as if I were being unreasonable for expecting them to do something other than just stare at me blankly. Clearly, they knew the WiFi was down and have learned to dismiss customer needs, acting as if I’m the only one who has ever had an issue with it. When I mentioned my complaint, the staff member claimed no one had ever complained before. I told her I was complaining now, but all I received in response was that familiar blank stare. At this point, all I can do is leave a bad review, which I doubt will make any difference.
- Gary D (8/5): -
- Stacey (6/5): - Very outdated-water pressure in shower was absolutely terrible
- barb (6/5): So so hotel - Ok hotel, the tv didn’t work had to get maintenance, the thermostat was not accurate. Missing one of the 2 entry doors to hotel. Good location
- Kevin (10/5): - Very friendly and clean. No waffles though 😕
- Mary (10/5): Highly Recommend - The woman that checked us in was amazing! Friendly, helpful, accommodating and so funny! Our room was spotless and comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good! Highly recommend and so reasonable!
- Lynn (4/5): Not so great - The Wi-Fi did not work. The room smelled like a smoker's room. The room needs an overall update in cleaning, painting, caulking, etc. I slept well.
- Jennifer (7/5): - Front desk staff was friendly The shower was very stained and in need of updates.
- Kalen (10/5): - We had a gr
- Jeff (10/5): - Close to where we needed to be
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good value for the money - Clean room, service was good, it was exactly what I was looking for, a clean safe place to stay.
- Juhnida (8/5): - Room was clean and nice .Breakfast was great
- Shaji (5/5): Fair stay experience - Location and price Comfort and facilities
- Sandra (6/5): - The room had a musty smell to it. Several biscuits had mold on them. Reported to management and the whole tray was removed and dumped in trash. Excuse was fridge wasn’t cold enough. Old and dated. Room smelt musty
- Shaji (5/5): Overall fair stay! - Location and price was good Rooms are not maintained… Desk chairs seat covers are peeling off. No shower towels were kept and got it on request
- Kassidy (10/5): Great spot for a nights stay! - The rooms here are really super nice actually! They come with plenty of space and nice furniture. The bed is super comfy. The hot breakfast in the morning is really good and provides lots of options. We love staying here when we need a room for the night. The price is good and the quality of the room is well worth it. My only complaint would be the shower. It was a struggle to find the hot water with the handle and I never did find find it. I found warm enough water that I was able to complete the task of showering but it wasn’t very enjoyable. Then my water struggled to completely drain. Not deal breaker things but ya know, room for improvement. Staff is friendly enough and hotel itself is clean and well maintained. Solid place to stay!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Needs more parking! Other wise good stay!!!
- Thankful Kymberleigh (9/5): Great for what we needed - It was pet friendly
- Mike and Laura Kline (8/5): Great location, comfortable, friendly staff! - We liked the online check in process. We liked the friendly staff at check in. We liked the breakfast offerings. The room was comfortable.
- Nova (8/5): We stay here often and they have a great breakfast and great location - We stay here quite often. Our room was clean and the temperature was good and it was very quiet. The Internet was spotty
- Yasmany (8/5): - Todo bien
- Allyn (6/5): - Dated and disrepair.
- Susie (6/5): - Nice beds. Pet friendly. Bathroom needed maintenance. Breakfast ran out of most items early.
- Katie (2/5): - Had to request towels at beginning of stay. Tub didn't drain. Window didn't lock on first floor. Not enough parking.
- Douglas (4/5): - Common areas were dirty
- Hannah (10/5): - I liked the pool
- Rude (5/5): It was okay. Staff helpful. - Breakfast was okay. Crowded. In our first room, sheets were dirty and they moved us. 2nd room, no iron board cover. They got us one. Overall, stay not bad, just not as good as we had hoped.
- Pam (8/5): - This was a great location to stay in preparation for my flight the next morning.
- Steve (10/5): - Would appreciate a breakfast that starts at 5 or 530am.
- Brittney (10/5): - Great stay! Will be back to this location.
- Donna (9/5): -
- Tina (4/5): - The room was quiet is the only thing I can say was nice. We were unable to adjust the air conditioner, there were stains on the couch ( I would not let my husband even sit on it! ). The desk had an old beat up computer chair and the plate was off the wall where the phone jack connects. When we went down for breakfast it was okay food, but the area was so hot I finally took my breakfast back to the room. Would never stay there again, or recommend to anyone.
- Nancy (10/5): - Everything was good or better than expected.
- Christina (4/5): - 5/10
- Vickie (8/5): - When I first walked in to check in, I immediately smelled a musty smell that I am not a fan of. I was worried if it would be bad in the morning for breakfast, and hoped the room wouldn't stink as well. Happy to report, no further musty smells! The woman who checked me in was very kind, funny, and friendly!
This place is fine for the price. It looks like it's been remodeled at some point but could always use a refresher. My only really complaint about the room was the chair was full of stains and looked gross. Clean it or pitch it!
The breakfast area is very small and consists of the usual complimentary breakfast items. It's enough to get a little sustenance for the road so it worked for me.
- Cheryl (10/5): economical - Nice bed, quiet, good breakfast and nice for an overnight stay. Easy check in
- Gail (4/5): Prefer to sleep in the car - The couch and chair were absolutely filthy. The carpet may have been new in the 90’s. We kept our shoes on entire time we were in the room.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - No bath towels in room. Room smelled bad and was humid the entire time. Pillows were small and uncomfortable.Tub had lots of rust.
- Randy (4/5): - Room had no hair dryer and was very small for a suite. You almost didn't have room to turn around in the bathroom.
- Nicole (6/5): - They had so much laundry piled up, had no shower towels, was offered pool towels. The breakfast wasnt anything great, but atleast it was something. Had issues with a bathroom light that took me asking twice before it was fixed. When it rains the light fixtures get water in them. The pool hasmold everywhere, vents are covered in soot. I found a turd in the hall. Its a hotel that is just ok if your strictly there to sleep.
- Elizabeth (1/5): Not Family Friendly - Free breakfast The hotel was not very accommodating for families traveling with small children. It was falsely advertised that there were cribs available for infants. And when we try to get our money back because of the false advertisement the staff refused to let us cancel our booking, so we had to go out and buy our own pack and play. Also, at breakfast, there were no high chairs available. They said there was one, but they could not find it and didn't bother looking. The room itself was very small, very dusty, especially on the fire sprinkler above the bed. There were cobwebs in every corner and the floor was very dirty.
- Janet (8/5): - The breakfast was good but very small sitting area.
- G8292XQjanetg (8/5): Pretty good - Place is a little old feeling but people were very nice. The check in staff was amazing. The room was very old school with the old register and small tv.
- janedS7873XX (8/5): Good. Some details need attention. - Nice room.
Need new mattresses.
Good breakfast.
Need to place eating utensils with the head into the container so people don’t touch the part that people put in their mouth. We mentioned this to the staff and even flipped the forks and spoons over so their heads were in the can, but the staff person turned the back again. It is not sanitary.
- Angela (4/5): Not great - Staff were friendly and helpful. However our bathroom was dirty, especially the exterior of the toilet. And there were no towels or washcloths in our room, we had to ask for them. You can hear everything in the rooms next to you, especially when they run water.
- Richard (8/5): - The room had some baseboard coming off and a metal plate by the light switch in the sink area kept hurting my fingers. The room wasn't totally cleaned beforehand, we saw chocolate candy on the floor. I was wondering why there wasn't a hair dryer.
- Jen (6/5): - There was no air conditioning in the hallways or lobby. Temperatures were close 100 degrees this week. The air conditioning units in the rooms were shut off. It was extremely damp and hard for ac to catch up. Mold on ceiling and in bathrooms. Wood was chipped, tub faucet leaking, chair stained. Hotel needs some attention to completing some room touch ups. Building doors are not secure. Anyone can come in. No blow dryer provided. Parking very inadequate.
