• Stacey (10/5): - We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and only wished we could have stayed longer. Lodge and the surroundings were beautiful. Even had an opportunity to cast a line in the pond and sat outside our room in the evening and watched the wildlife. The restaurant was closed due to a boiler issue but Max was a great host and provided us recommendations for dinner. Close to the airport was another big plus. Hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.
• Brett (8/5): - Stunning property and fairly convenient to downtown Bozeman. Friendly staffand good proactive communication via text. Some of the property features are off limits to guests (fire pit) which was a little off putting. The room we had was nice but not quite up to what I’d expect from the cost. A shade in the only window was broken rendering the window dark.

• Kaitlyn (10/5): - The Hotel was gorgeous and quiet with wildlife around. The staff were friendly and super helpful. And the restaurant attached is truly amazing and very tasty. The only thing I was disappointed by was that they said breakfast was included but it was not a hot meal, it was little breakfast items included in the fridge. But they did give us a good recommendation for a hot breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed the peace of the property while being able to easily access MSU, downtown Bozeman and the ski mountain. Staff here was very friendly and helpful. We ate dinner the first night at the restaurant. The food was excellent, atmosphere conducive to conversation and service responsive. The in room amenities were outstanding as well with nespresso offered and also a basket Filled with solid breakfast items. Their in house granola was excellent. We highly recommend a stay at GRL.

• Karen (10/5): - I was familiar with the property prior to booking. The rooms are very comfortable, and the staff was great. The location for us was great. The restaurant on site was good. Some things people should know is you do have a short drive in on a non- paved road- but the views are worth it. Parking can be a little difficult due to busy resturant and you may have to walk a short distance to your room especially if you are in a back cabin facing the lake, but no more than I have at other large hotels. Breakfast is just a continental they place in your fridge with an apple, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, a pastry and cereal. Coffee and tea in your room. We love the peaceful atmosphere, and would stay here on our next visit to Bozeman

I felt like a queen with all of the luxuries in my room, including a complimentary bottle of champagne. This will always be my first choice when I'm looking for a place to stay near Bozeman.

Due to our schedule, we were unable to dine there, but given the number of people there on a weekday night - it must be very good. There are also XC trails on site for winter visitors.

• Ercihan (10/5): Gallatin River Lodge one of the best in Bozeman. - This is my first experience other than city hotels. The Hotel located in rural area. Quite far from city even you don't see any light of city. In the morning if you wake up early you may have a chance to see some ducks, turkeys and deers. Especially deers may come close to your room. Lastly the restaurant of the hotel really good. And one can must taste Montana Mule and Crème Brûlée.

• Janet (10/5): - The Gallatin River Lodge is a hidden gym. Our stay here was for just one night to get closer to the airport. Just 12 minutes away it's worth the xtra few minutes out of town to stay here. Beautiful clean, comfortable rooms. Breathtaking property and outside patio seating. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. Max at the front desk and Jess seemingly doing "all the things" to make sure things ran smoothly and making people feel welcome were above and beyond with customer service. Our server LW was wonderful and Dinner right here at the Lodge was delicious! No reason to go into town. We drank champagne on the outside patio (with a random 50 degree day in December) while watching the sunset when several deer came out from the woods and were feeding right in front of us. Just a spectacular spot. If ever here in the Bozeman area again this will be our first choice of where to stay! Highly Recommend!
• Dee A (6/5): Very low key stay - Lodge is a beautiful rustic-style building in an open-field setting. Location was just a mile off the highway and convenient to the airport. Bed was comfortable and shower was great. French Doors provided a great view of the open fields and early morning deer sightings. November was probably the wrong choice, a little too "off season" for us after all. Guess I should have paid more attention that breakfast would be cold items in the refrigerator. Had to drive for breakfast and lunch. Restaurant only open 2 nights of our 3-night stay, and in our opinion, a little too pricey and too fancy for this setting. Staff that we did see were pleasant and friendly. Very low key stay.

• Judd (4/5): Disappointing.... - The lodge is one building that includes your room, the restaurant, the bar, and the kitchen. The night we stayed they were hosting a private event so only a limited bar menu was available to guests and it was loud music and people walking on the wood floors downstairs until 11:30 pm. It was not an ideal stay for us for sure. We had an early AM flight the next morning so no true rest till around midnight was not ideal. With the extreme price tag of a one-night stay, we expected so much more. Needless to say, we won't be back and wouldn't recommend it.

I would have liked a carafe to boil water and a more luxurious bed. The mattress seems a little low end. The fireplace was great. Overall a lovely stay, would definitely come back and stay. • Clinton (10/5): Great place to stay outside of downtown - This was a great hotel. There was a slight mixup in the rooms and they just upgraded us to the nicest room in the place at no charge. Very plush and comfy, plus great views from everywhere in the place. We ate breakfast there, very tasty and reasonably priced. They seem to have a lot of business for breakfast and dinner from folks who aren’t even staying there, so that says a lot about he quality of the food. Very helpful staff in every way. Great experience all around.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful lodge with a great Montana feel. - I give this lodge a 5 star rating for comfort, ambiance, staff and overall accommodations. The lodge is located in a meadow area just a short distance from the river. Setting is delightful with nice vies of the surrounding mountains.
• Magdalena (10/5): Enchanting and magical winter treat - This is a phenomenal place; the owners waited for us on Christmas Day and even though kitchen was closed they prepared cheeses, breads and wine so that we can enjoy the evening. The property is magical with deer crossing each morning, magpies and well maintained grounds. Rooms are beautiful, warm, with all amenities. I had massage on call and she was splendid as well. P.J. The manager gave my husband a ride to the airport - the entire staff starts caring from the moment you open your eyes and need a first cup of coffee. The chef is fantastic and menu at the restaurant is natural, light, and beautifully presented; wines are prime. We absolutely loved the property - it is off the main thoroughfare but close enough to Bozeman main square and airport. It is romantic yet modern and has this "feel" of home - a place where you are treated like a friend not a customer. We travel all around the world and this is definitely a top world class place.
• Shantel (10/5): Cozy, Charming and very Montana - Loved staying at this location. I got in late and they had my room warmed (in December), lights on and music playing. It was very welcoming after a long day of driving. Loved that it only had a few units and the rooms were large, modern but very much in a lodge aesthetic. I would loved to have stayed longer.
• Eric (4/5): - Avoid room 102 which is located between the reception desk, public bathrooms and the kitchen. Lots of noise until after 11 pm and before 7 am. Food was over priced.

• Russell (10/5): Very nice, but expensive for what it is. - No specific complaints about the lodge. It was as described. We had room 106 which was on the 1st floor of the lodge and it was very nice and comfortable. I do think, now having seen it, that $535 a night for bed only is very expensive and there's nothing special. We took the all inclusive rate and enjoyed one of the best meals for dinner that we've ever had so I commend the chef on that. The views from the restaurant and very nice.
