- Falk (10/5): - Die Unterkunft liegt sehr schön, direkt am Kernriver. Man kann von der Terrasse aus sehr schön auf den Fluss sehen. Ein wunderbarer Ort, um zu entspannen und runterzukommen. Offensichtlich ist der Ort bei Anon sehr beliebt das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet. Leider hat es uns unsere Reiseplanung nicht erlaubt, längere Zeit hier zu verbringen.

- 48ed5df7155c714b69af5a6aab75ed78 (10/5): We had a wonderful, relaxing stay and truly enjoyed the cozy cabin atmosphere and beautiful river views. - We absolutely loved this property! It has such a beautiful, cozy cabin vacation feel that made our stay really relaxing. One of our favorite features was the rocking chairs where you can sit and take in the peaceful river view—it was honestly one of the best parts of our stay. We also loved how easy it was to access the river with just a short walk down the stairs, which gave my husband the chance to enjoy some gold panning. The details inside the cabin were also adorable, especially the sheets—they were so cute and added such a nice, cozy touch to the whole experience. Overall, it was a really charming and enjoyable place to stay. The only downside we experienced was limited cell service throughout the area. There are quite a few dead zones where you don’t get signal, so you do have to rely on Wi-Fi. Even with Wi-Fi, we mainly had to use Wi-Fi calling or FaceTime audio to communicate. It wasn’t a huge issue for us, but it’s definitely something to be aware of if you need consistent cell service.

- 609ilonaa (10/5): Our Favorite Place in Kernville - Our favorite place to stay in Kernville. Right on the river, quiet, with outdoor picnic tables, private beach, cozy atmosphere in the evenings. The rooms are big, comfortable and always clean. The kitchenette has a small table for 4. The staff is very friendly and helpful. and accommodating. We had a room with a view of the river and it was perfect! There's a deli across the street with great food and a small market. Prices for rooms are always reasonable, we've stayed here in all seasons.

Every moment was handled carefully and professionalism. The staff went above and beyond, not only making me feel welcome, but also offering fantastic recommendations on places to visit that truly enhance my experience, Jeremiah and his wife are the greatest and made my son who has recently became a paraplegic and blind have a wonderful experience and great conversation. Also the thoughtful gesture of the mailing back the blanket I had left behind was incredibly kind and speaks volume on their commitment to guest satisfaction. Thank you both for making our stay memorable🤗.

The bathroom also smelled very bad - I had to keep the door closed to avoid the urine smell! I had stayed there a year ago and it was reasonable but this time it was ridiculous! Then in the morning I was unable to get out of my room and the bolt jammed when locked ... I kept calling the front office who never picked up the phone! It took an hour to get someone attention who contacted the office for me. The area is great but find another place to stay ...

- Marni (10/5): It was the most relaxing trip ever..very peaceful..and i loved the grounds were kept clean.. - We loved the room, the area was always clean and getting to the river was easy and the view from sitting in the chairs was amazing and peaceful..the clerk was super nice and I loved the old style room keys..it was a very very relaxing weekend..next time we plan on bringing our dogs..that's a nice plus you allow dogs..oh, and the beds were super comfy!! The parking was tight, we drove our truck..but we liked the fact we had our own parking spot and didn't have to drive around looking for one..and the shower was a bit small..and im 5'3 113lbs..so it was a bit cramped..but it didn't deter us from having a beautiful time..

- Deeona (8/5): - We had the premier room for our short stay, and being our first time booking at Sequoia Lodge, we are glad we did. The room had the best views, with a small patio and easy access to the River. It was very quiet because we booked a Sunday/Monday night stay, and it was at the beginning of the Fall, so the place was pretty empty. We chose this Lodge because it was pet-friendly, so we could bring our beloved pet. We loved the room, but it could have been cleaned a little better. Lack of dusting and disinfecting was the major problem. There were also cob webs all over the outside lamp. The rooms were well-equipped, but the beds were not comfortable. It felt like we were sleeping on springs, and the wheels on the bed frame were broken. All the staff were very attentive and friendly. We would go back. Thank you.
- Joni (8/5): - The staff were wonderful, check in was a breeze, they were able and willing to accomodate our dog at the last minute and we are so grateful for that; location was good with a very nice deli/general store right across the street (super convenient and good food); being right on the river was really nice too. Property shows it's age a bit, but what can you do but say yay! They're here and they're operating in this lovely location and we are thankful for them! We definitely recommend Sequoia Lodge!

- Celia (9/5): Kernville is a cool lil' town. - Stayed in room 17. Loved it! View of the river. Nice and roomy. Very clean, comfy bed. Kitchenette was a plus. Stairs to access the river. Very quiet. Close to restaurants. General store across the street that also serves food. I would definitely stay here again ! On our second night, the power went out. We had to relocate to another hotel. It was really warm weather and I have medical devices that need power. Unfortunately, the owner of the property would not give a refund for the night.

- Luciano (10/5): Nel luogo sbagliato ma con bella sorpresa. - Il Sequoia Lodge è una struttura molto particolare: minimalista nella reception ma molto ben attrezzata nelle camere. Si trova nel Sequoia National Forest (da non confondere con il Sequoia National Park come a noi capitato) vicina al fiume Kern. Luogo molto ameno. Quando ho prenotato avevo cercato una sistemazione vicino al Sequoia National Park. In realtà la struttura si trova a ca, 3 ore di auto su strade non troppo agevoli. Il luogo è molto bello ma fate attenzione alla localizzazione.

- Linda (10/5): Great. Lived up to expectations. Very nice room. Good weather. River frontage. Quiet at nice. N - The staff Robyn and Jeremiah were exceptional. I had a booking problem and Jeremiah stepped right in to assist me. Robyn was very friendly and I recognized her from previous stays. Room was great size...fridge, sink, microwave, two queen size beds and very clean. Quiet at night. Outdoor sitting area overlooking river is so relaxing and stairs down to river a very nice addition. There is a barbque area which we did not use but others were enjoying it in the wonderful weather. The one thing that I find universal in all motels/hotels is the craziness of the remote control. They are different in every setting and quite frankly a pain in the ass. It would be helpful to have some sort of instruction in writing to help those of us who are not tech inclined. But this is in most rooms we encounter in our travels and certainly did not take anything away from our trip.

Room well kept and very clean. We had a warm and friendly welcome at reception plus helpful advice about the best route to get to Sequoia National Park when we left. Very pleased with our choice!

There’s a microwave and small fridge with coffeemaker. Odd thing is there isn’t a fork, knife or plate, so bring your own. The cleaning service could be better.
