- Matthias (9/5): - Die Ablage ist im Westerstil sehr schön anzuschauen. Zudem stehen mehrere Pools zur Verfügung. Zimmer sind groß und geräumig. Betten fanden wir bequem. Würden das Hotel wieder buchen und empfehlen. Teilweise veraltete Einrichtung, welche durchaus erneuert werden könnte. Bequemere Stühle bzw Sitzgelegenheiten wären nett gewesen. Ansicht war aber alles vorhanden.

The pool was great for the kids! The saloon was closed, yet the email they sent mentioned it. The overall facility is a little run down (it need a paint job!)

- ALAIN (10/5): Déco et installations au top! - J ai adoré le style de l'hotel, une vraie reproduction d'une ville western dans les moindres détails avec 1 super espace piscine( piscine très chaude et jaccuzzi encore plus) literie confortable.Bravo! Allez y sans hésiter et les sculpture d anza borrego sont juste à côté et géniales. Mon regret c'est d'être parti aussi vite et de pas avoir pris de 2 è nuit ! Seul regret plus de réception après 18h et avant 9h mais tout se fait très bien avec 1 système de boîtier, c'était bien expliqué.

- Michelle Q (9/5): Nice place to stay. - Cute and clean. Staff are very nice and helpful. The main pool has been closed for months. Sparkly, beautiful pool area, padlocked because someone didn't do the permit. (per employees) There is a second pool, but it got crowded.
- ANDREA (5/5): - Bartender was very helpful when front desk closed early. Pool was in really poor shape and kinda green. Not enough towels and no way to get more. Mini fridge was rusty and no coffee pods available. Pretty run down and not up to par for $200 a night.
- schwakes (6/5): Disapointing - Front desk RV check in ponderous, slow, and weird. Old amenities - bar restaurant etc - gone. If you are camped near the grade it will be NOISY all night.
- Olga (10/5): Enjoyed our stay once again! - Second time staying here and loved it again. The staff is always helpful and nice. The main pool was closed for renovations, but we were able to enjoy the secondary pool and spa in the back. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for remodeling, so it’s the second time we missed out, the first time it was out of season. The night we stayed there was a show at the bar/restaurant by local performers, which we enjoyed while having tacos from a taco vendor on site. The restaurant was closed again:(

- J5413GKjennifero (6/5): Cute resort that has potential but is in need of some renovations. - This Resort definitely has potential to be a very cute place but they need to put some money into it. There were some things in our room that needed to be maintained and the exterior paint/wood needs some renovating as can be seen in the pictures below. The RV park pool also needs to be resurfaced. It is very rough and my kids had sores on their feet from playing in the pool. I was a little bummed by the fact that the main pool for the resort was not open and I was not notified of this until after I booked my reservation. The room was a very nice size and you can tell that they have updated some things in the room but they need to continue to update a few things. Overall though our stay was decent.

I will definitely check out its availability next time I visit the - The property is near Anza Borrego state park and almost in the center of the local city. The room is clean and roomy, staff are friendly and efficient. It does not have many trees in the parking lot to provide shades.

The entire hotel experience was fantastic except that the saloon was not open on Sunday, our day of arrival.

An effort had been made to update the decor and the carpets/floor were clean and bathroom was clean. Otherwise a bit dated and need of a refresh. Strong smell of burnt plastic in the room which we finally decided was the smell of the plastic shades heating in the desert sun, tiny crawling bugs all over the sink and counter, dilapidated deck/balcony decking, small stain on one comforter. Working coffee maker, small microwave and refrigerator in the room and plenty of space to move around. Very convenient to Anza-Borrego State Park. Grounds were very well maintained and there were 2 pools; cute resort theming. Best part of the stay was the friendly, kind and helpful staff!

The 2nd floor room with 2 queen beds was spacious and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained; however, the hotel building exterior definitely needs some TLC and paint. The new solar array over the RV sites is incredible although we stayed in the hotel. Very disappointed that the hotel pool was closed. WIFI bandwidth was pathetic.

Price was reasonable for Borrego Springs which only has overpriced rooms in winter. Bed was hard and pillows weren’t great. They only clean and restock room upon request. No restaurant.

We were there off season, only 3 other rooms occupied in our building. Come on management, it’s 2026 and even the restaurants nearby have fiber and 5G. Other than that (and unable to connect to a zoom conference) the room was clean, comfortable and spacious, 3 star vibe, but you are in a remote place so, goes with the territory. 1 mile from “ The Mall” which has a couple restaurants.

- LordofLaMancha (10/5): A very appealing place! - Great place. Good location, reasonable price, pet friendly, very pleasant grounds, very friendly staff. Nothing fancy, but clean and has everything you need. Temperature control in room perfect. Pool and kitchen under repair on this stay (January 2026; should be running again by spring), but on previous visit both were very good. Bar is still open; the burger last spring was excellent. We are repeat customers... can't say better than that

- JB-in-SB (10/5): Not a family-run hotel -- but feels like it! - We stayed at the Palm Canyon Hotel & Rv Resort between Christmas & New Years in 2025. The experience was great -- it isn't a family-run hotel, but it feels like one. So don't expect 24-hr concierge service or high-end amenities, but do look forward to a great atmosphere and genuinely caring staff. One example: At around 10pm our first night a bad fuse knocked out the electricity in our room. The front desk person had already left for the evening, but the guy who was manning the bar got us into a new room & the front desk person came back and had new keys made up for us within half an hour. Unfortunate that it happened, but their response was excellent. We loved (1) sitting with mugs of beer on the outside patio and looking at the stars; (2) eating s'mores out by the hammocks in the back lot (s'more ingredients, skewers & grill all provided by the hotel) and (3) just soaking in the desert mountain landscape from our balcony. We also highly recommend renting eBikes to get around Borrego Springs -- it was great!
