• Denisse (8/5): - Location was superb, bus stop in front of the hotel and 15 minutes to the mille, no bars or restaurants nearby, although small shopping mal with 2 great supermarkets 3 blocks away,so that was a relief, you.could buy food for a light breakfast o sweet treat. The neighborhood is really beautiful and chic! When they did the bedroom they didn't vacuum the carpet and no toilet paper replaced.

The bus stop is right across the street and it is only a 10=15 min ride to the main area of town. The room was so nice and spacious. Very clean ! We did not find that there were many places nearby for a nice breakfast. We were going into town, so we just ate in the city, but it would have been nice to have someplace closer

El precio era bastante alto, pero hay que tener en cuenta que todos los demás alojamientos en esos días de Pascua estaban más caros.

Cath was a fantastic host with lots of helpful info on transportation and local amenities. The location is really convenient, with a bus stop right outside with service to the city centre and the Royal Mile. (Bonus tip: for 6 pounds you can buy a one day bus-tram pass that gives you unlimited access for the day.) Two thumbs up for the Alba House! N/A

• Celina (10/5): Would recommend to anybody! - Very lovely stay! The room was very spacious and clean and the bathroom was modern. Staff was super friendly as well. Bus stop is right outside the hotel, but we usually just walked into the city, which doesn't take much longer.

• Ivana (8/5): Ottima struttura - Struttura molto curata, pulita e accogliente, la proprietaria gentilissima, ci ha dato diversi consigli. La posizione non è centralissima è ben collegata, con fermate del bus proprio di fronte, si raggiunge il centro in circa 20 minuti e l’aeroporto in un’ora. Unica pecca, si affaccia su una strada molto trafficata quindi di notte si continua a sentire rumore di macchine. Inoltre anche il prezzo è un po’ sproporzionato considerando la posizione, ma abbastanza in linea con gli altri alloggi a Edimburgo.

• Elena (9/5): Giusto compromesso per Edimburgo - Cath è una persona molto gentile e disponibile. La camera e il bagno erano puliti. C'e il boiler per farsi il the in camera. La posizione è ottima, c'è la fermata del bus davanti e ne hai uno ogni 10 minuti circa fino a tarda notte. È vero che la camera che da sulla strada non è cosi isolata, ma non come descritto in certe recensioni. Noi abbiamo dormito bene ugualmente...se avete il sonno leggero portatevi dei tappi per le orecchie!

• Sunshine (8/5): Spotless, welcoming, comfortable lodging just outside of city centre - As others have said, Cath is wonderful. Great Scottish hospitality from the get-go. She offered us a very warm welcome and a quick overview of what to see and do in Edinburgh and how to get around. While the house is a bit outside of the city centre, the bus stops to and from are literally outside/across the street from Alba House. It takes about 10 minutes to get into the city centre. The room was spotless! The bed and linens were comfy and the view from our garden room was nice. Hardly any street noise at all. We loved having quick access to the city without having to be in the midst of the hustle and bustle. For those who require a real cup of coffee to get started, there’s a bit of a mismatch here. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the closest coffee shop (a Costa in the nearby shopping mall). This is a small issue, but something to be aware of. There is instant coffee, but IYKYK what it’s like to not have quick coffee access. :)

• Samanta yañez (10/5): Excelente estadía - Alba House es una excelente opción para hospedarte ya que la casa está muy linda bien cuidada y limpia. Al llegar nos recibieron muy amables y nos explicaron como llegar desde el centro y los lugares turísticos en el centro de la cuidad, también nos dieron recomendaciones de lugares para desayunar cercanos. La casa está algo retirada del centro como 20 min pero tiene una parada de bus literal enfrente con muchos autobuses que van directo al centro por lo que es muy práctico. No se puede hacer check-in si llegas después de las 20:00, pero es entendible dado el tipo de alojamiento :).

La ubicación aunque parezca alejada del centro está muy bien en realidad, tiene una parada de bus en la misma puerta donde paran un montón de buses que te dejan en la Royal Mile en 10 minutos. Este alojamiento es una eleccion perfecta si buscas, calidad, limpeza,ubicación cómoda, hospitalidad y tranquilidad. Tener que irme tan pronto

• Jutta (9/5): Eine schöne Unterkunft fernab der Touristenströme, aber mit ausgezeichneten Verbindungen ins Stadtzentrum. - Das Zimmer in dem geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus war geräumig und komfortabel. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Die Bushaltestelle vor der Tür garantiert eine schnelle Verbindung in das Stadtzentrum.

• Jodie (10/5): - I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, i was staying alone and i felt totally safe, the room had beautiful decor and was lovey and warm. Was welcomed by a bubbly, friendly host who greets you personally and gives you all the information you need, there's a local shopping centre, your on the main road which leads straight down into edinburgh and the bus stop is right outside for you. You are in a great location staying here and will 100% stay again when i return to Edinburgh.

Camera pulita e confortevole. Tutto perfetto. Forse solo la temperatura della stanza potrebbe essere migliorata, faceva un pò freddo nelle fasce orarie senza riscaldamento.

• ΔΑΝΑΗ (9/5): - Η τοποθεσία 10/10, με στάση λεωφορείου ακριβώς απέξω και πάνω από 5 λεωφορεία να σε πηγαίνουν κάθε 3 λεπτά στο κέντρο. Οι οδηγίες και όλες οι πληροφορίες που μας έδωσαν ήταν πολύ βοηθητικές. Το δωμάτιο ήταν υπέροχο, πεντακάθαρο και με πολύ όμορφη αισθητική. Καλύτερο και από τις φωτογραφίες. Θα θέλαμε να υπάρχει ένα έστω μικρό ψυγείο στο χώρο.
