- Vina (10/5): Better than a hotel - I stayed a week with my family of two elementary school boys. Very comfortable stay, clean, fresh toiletries, caring hosts. Location was very convenient and plenty of delicious food shops nearby. To avoid noise from traffic, chose the rooms facing the back alley. Daily breakfast provided by coupons and ordered it from the food shop three doors away. May need a Chinese-English translator for the menu though. Hosts and food staff all very friendly and helpful. 7-11 around the corner.

- YI (10/5): Nice stay in Hualien with low cost - Litho is a very nice home stay. The room is comfortable and silent ,and there is a breakfast coupon included so that you can have breakfast in the breakfast restaurant nearby. Anyway, It is a nice place to stay with low cost.

- Verified traveler (10/5): 房間擺設很美，但清潔度一般 - 民宿地點座落在同一老闆開的珠寶店內，入住當天只要致電老闆到達花蓮火車站的時間，就有人來接送我們了。 民宿隔離的食肆只做早午市，有一間711, 若要到自強夜市，約15至20分鐘人行路程，尚可，但自強夜市規模不是很大，若想到較熱鬧的地方，就是中山路中華路一帶，距離民宿約35分鐘人行路程，建議坐的士。 早餐可在民宿地下隔壁的餐廳享用，每人有一張50元的餐券，各式其式，幾好。 今次住3樓的二人房，擺設日式，看上去其實感覺好舒服好好，但床舖應該不太乾淨，因為睡醒後發現，我手都有被蚤咬的點點，腫了，似乎很毒。 連住兩天，沒有人來簡單打掃，但原來打掃需要我們主動致電老闆，這點要注意了。因為在房間有份民宿的溫馨提示，只寫了1100至1600為打掃時間，所以一心以為有人來打掃，第一個無奈。 二樓有雪櫃，我們第一天喝剩了果汁放了在內，第二天卻沒有了，原來老闆誤會是之前客人留下的，所以已扔了，第二個無奈。 另外，三樓的wifi剛巧壞了，第三個無奈。 離開前一天問問接送我們的阿姨可否接送我們往火車站，但因為她有貨要送，所以只給了我們的士電話，不過，我們離開民宿時，她給了我們100元作為乘的士之用，說是老闆給予的。 後來我再上hotels.com看看民宿詳情，其實是沒有火車站來回接送的，所以可接送真的是bonus, 感謝老闆。
- VORN (8/5): Family run guesthouse in Hualien - I based myself in Hualien to access Taroko Gorge and found the Litho to be a very good place to stay. It is a family-run business located above the jewellery store and opposite the Tzu Chi Buddhist University and hosptial.
