- Caitriona (4/5): - The bed was comfortable. Room was decent size. Decor was very dated. Food in the restaurant was presented not as described on the menu. I had paid extra for breakfast but couldn't stay for breakfast on the 1st morning but I asked for a latte to go and was told I couldn't have one because the machine hadn't been turned on. The other 2 with me got breakfast that morning. Overall just felt not very accommodating. Dead Earwig on the bedroom floor from night 1. Told receptionist on check out.

Our room was at the back of hotel with window out onto a busy pathway leading to what looked like a large meeting room where alot of people were walking by, up and down the steps past our window, very noisy even with window closed.

It was my birthday weekend so i was there to relax and its was lovely and peaceful exactly what expected. Thank you We got totally different room than the one we booked.reported at the reception, she wanted to change our room but couldn’t as there was people at it already. (Booked family room With bunk beds) Got money refunded for it, issue resolved but two not very satisfied daughters who was hoping to sleep at bunk beds. But its not a big issue. Room 268 very slow shower. Get that sorted please.

I found the room very clean and with a beautiful view out onto the river Brosna. I also used the leisure center. The gym was of a good standard, the sauna and steam room were great. Finished off with the cold plunge. Very good stay.

- judeslawRules (10/5): Tranquility. - Got sent down here with Work Role,recently for local factory.I usually stay at The Great National,but opted for this little spot instead ,In truth it was more enjoyable,I was surprised ,with the quality of the accomodation,& the service in the bar areas,&the warm Reception on arrival & Departure was sublime.Beautiful River /Waterfall on view from breakfast room,made it very relaxing .Leisure Centre was extremely pleasant &well laid out.Well worth a visit.

Grubby and needs resealing all round shower. Hand rail rusty. Grouting around tiles filty. Rooms were way to warm. No thermostat to turn down heating and only one small window that could be opened . Should reception needed to be contacted phone located in hallway.

Beautiful views of the river and sunset from Frogs Diner. The family movie night was also quite delightful. Would definitely stay again. Great value for money.

The leisure club rarely had a person on the reception. The hotel pass key didn't allow access to the building. Sometimes waiting for 5 mins to gain access to the Gym / pool area.

Jacuzzi wasn’t working Changing room/ bathroom wasn’t clean As we booked this for a spa weekend away was so disappointed 😞 We arrived for breakfast for 9:20 ish food was cold Glasses for juice had lipstick marks Picked up 3 different plates it was dirty Asked for a nice view got a view looking at a wall 🤷♀️
- Peter (8/5): - Staff, food quality, bed, ambience. Bathroom was poor design in places. No toilet roll holders, too cramped, inadequate towel storage, wet shower cubicle didn't work and bathroom floor got very wet. All this little points spoiled an otherwise good room and hotel.

- sharonlQ2352NX (10/5): Lovely place for family - Beautiful location. We booked a family garden view room for one night, and the room was spacious and clean. We had water, tea & coffee, toiletries, extra towels, hairdryer and bedding. Mattresses and pillows were firm and very comfortable. Complimentary Newspaper and access to the leisure centre next door (with towels provided) which we enjoyed. Great kids pool with pool noodles etc available and attentive water safety staff on duty. Very quiet garden view room. Hot water and great water pressure. Good wi-fi. Hotel was lovely, staff were friendly and great atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. We had dinner in the Frog Dining, and it was beautiful. The kids menu is lovely, and the salmon and burgers were gorgeous. Our meal was great value and the staff were prompt and friendly (shout-out to Hanna and Sean). The man (with the great hair!) on reception was friendly, welcoming and warm. Breakfast was self serve and everyone could find something they wanted, excellent choice of hot and cold food and drinks. Music in the bar, lots of areas to sit and relax with a book. We loved it. The single thing I could complain about was that the room was too hot, but we turned the heat down and it cooled down fast. A lovely place.
- Moothoo (4/5): Disappointed 😞 - The swimming pool was amazing. The staff were very good and courteous. The breakfast was not great. Not a full complimentary continental breakfast. The kitchen closes too early. Had kind of leftovers for breakfast on monday . The restaurant closes at 1000 and we reached at 0915 and it was almost finished. Nothing was available when asked to staffs. Room kind of full of dust.
- CarolM1833 (4/5): Awful meal - Didn't stay at hotel but went for food. Mothers day menu. It was awful. Starters was nice goats cheese and red onion tartlet ,mains were dreadful. Not hot. Advertised stuffed pork loin with apple sauce and crackling. No apple sauce and no crackling . Pork came with string wrapped around it instead. The mash potato was inedible because it was so salty. Broccoli had some sort of cheese sauce but it was burned. Plus not enough sauce and wasn't even hot. Choice of desserts. Pavlova was awful. Meringue was runny not crispy. The brownie and banoffe pie were ok Its ashame really because you have lost 5 customers at least. We certainly won't be back. Waiter wasn't very nice either. The young girl serving drinks was lovely. Very friendly.

- Amy (8/5): Housekeeping needs to knock first , wait for a response before entering a room. - Beds where comfortable and room was spacious. Sitting in the room and the door just opened , without knocking , a man proceeded to walk on in . A young women by herself in the room, and this man walked on in without warning or knocking. Very bad behaviour leaving me feeling uncomfortable to stay again.

Very poor breakfast service ( had to wait for 5 min for bread other items came in dribs and drabs, showers in swimming pool not working (not told and no explanation given), horrible smell in lobby (night time)

- N1530IWhannaht (2/5): Ipas centre, smelly room needs updated - AVOID THIS IPAS CENTRE. You are not made awarw its an ipas centre upon booking. It needs updated , after 20 mins of checking in we left and went to a different hotel this was after been give a room with 1 bed for 4 people which was corrected our second room smelled really bad hence why they had the window left open when we walked in. I lay on top of the bed and started getting blotches on my leg that was the final straw . We had 2 small kids and definitley did not feel safe staying here at all. The lady on reception was friendly is the only positive i have

- mhomes (10/5): Very welcoming staff - The staff at the Twin Trees Hotel were very welcoming and friendly. They made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Shoutout to Anna, Christine, and Melinda at the reception desk, Tanya and Sean along with their staff members Amelia and Hannah in the dining room and bar/restaurant! Along with the housekeeping staff, they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. (Thank you also to everyone else behind the scenes—and sorry if I misspelled any name.) The hotel is within walking distance of town for shopping and other restaurants. There is plenty of parking. The Brusna Falls Leisure Center is located next door and includes a pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and gym and is open to hotel guests. I highly recommend this hotel! Thank you for all you do for your guests!

- Dazeb (8/5): - Breakfast was very good. A small selection but pretty much everything we needed as a family. Also had a selction of Glueton Free Bread for guests. There also a small leisure club within the grounds of the hotel with easy access. The staff were excellant nice, polite and alway made you feel they there were there to help you The hotel is a little dated and shows it age in certain parts. But there was nothing bad and it was very clean.
