Our room was on the 11th floor and the whole floor (and vaguely our room) smelled of cigarettes even though the room was clearly a non-smoking room. The reason for this (I believe), was the availability of a tiny designated smoking room next to the ice machine & water dispenser room.

The train station is also a few min walk away and some of the yatai are along the road and easy to get to. Their free amenities that you can grab at the lobby are plentiful. Includes skincare, body scrub towel, hair ties, cottons, comb and i even bath salts! The blinds to the bathroom opens from the outside. So if you have kids and likes to fidget on things and you're taking a shower or #2, then you better prepare to put on a show because they can open the blinds and expose you! Haha but other than that. It was great.

- Ameera (8/5): Great location, comfortable facilities but make sure to double or triple check any arrangements made at the front desk t - Location was excellent and very convenient. Some staff especially towards our check out were let’s just say not very helpful and there was miscommunication upon check out. There seems to be no endorsement mechanism since when I asked the staff at checkout about a prior arrangement with another staff member the day before all she said was I wasn’t the one that arranged that so I don’t know. I don’t think that kind of behavior and answer is acceptable as staff members especially at the front desk need to have proper endorsement among themselves.

- YI PING (9/5): - Excellent location and spacious room! The staffs are trying to give help, however sometimes their English is not so good. I suggest them to well use translation app, for international guests to solve problem efficiently is more important than if they could speak the other language well.

- Yen-Chia (9/5): - 飯店的地點很好，去哪都很方便。雖然是每隔一天才提供打掃服務，不過房務人員每天都會提供新的毛巾和備品掛在房門口。加入西鐵飯店會員的話可以享有免費一小時的延遲退房，想再多延長的話價格也不貴，推薦給喜歡悠閒一點的旅客！

- Lee (10/5): Would definitely be back! - It was at a central location and connected (via the Tenjin Underground) to most of the malls within Tenjin area! It was also helpful that the bus express terminal was there which made it perfect for day trips to Yufuin/Beppu/outlet malls. Shame that there isn’t a coin laundry within the building but we were able to find one nearby.
