- Yu (9/5): A good place to relax. - A tranquil place with delicious food and good service.
- jacques (9/5): -
- Abu-bakr (9/5): Stunning getaway in a remote location with all the amenities needed. Definitely keen to go back again! - Beautiful location, clean, comfy and great service from everyone working there. Super friendly and helpful… and the food was delicious! Nothing at all.

- ANNA (10/5): - WOW !! Nature lovers Dream location with a lot of charm & fine finishing touches at this Lodge👌❤️. Exceptional Welcoming, Helpfull & Friendly staff. Stayed in Cobbles nr 6 with all & more than you need for a comfortable & relax stay. Pine trees at your doorstep, river gushing in the not to far distance & a nostalgic train occasionally moving slowly over the tracks with a "hoot" or 2. Enjoyed deliciously prepared breakfasts (more than enough food on your plate at an additional charge) at the Main House veranda as the weather allowed it. Was spoiled with two freshly baked muffins on morning of departure☺️. Premises are bordered by a river & you can take a slow relaxing scenic walk all along the riverside with plenty of beautiful spots & surprisingly stops. Trout fishing is allowed from two of the premises own dams. Truly a Gem 💎 in this area overing guests an Awesome, Peaceful & Amazing stay. Thank you to everyone at Stonecutters whom made my stay Memorable✨🌟✨with the hope to return soon.

- Courtney (10/5): A relaxing comfortable getaway destination - The property is 30min outside of Dullstroom in a serene location with lovely views and trout dams
- Melissa R (8/5): - The views were beautiful and the property is well kept. People are friendly and helpful+- The site said there is a pool on bookings.com but there was no pool.
- Zenobia (9/5): Peaceful stay with pretty views - The hosts were super friendly and the dinner we had was delicious. Property is beautiful and perfect for a relaxing weekend. Our accommodation was comfortable and had a very pretty view from the deck. The water pressure was a bit low in the shower and the beds we slept on were slightly creaky and worn. But none the less still a good visit and enjoyable stay.
- Louise (10/5): - Stonecutters Lodge was a haven. We spent a wonderful, relaxing weekend here, only wished it could have been longer. Nothing not to like.

- Nicky (9/5): Superb -
- Dominique (6/5): I perfonally wouldn't visit Stonecutters again. - The venue is peaceful and everything was provided for, eg. fire wood, kitchen facilities, hot water bottles etc. My husband was happy with the fishing facilities. I felt like the reviews overated Stonecutters. There is not a lot to do at the venue and the kitchen facilities are old and in need of a revamp. I mentioned to the cleaning lady that the dishwasher was not cleaning the dishes properly and the sink was leaking. We battled to get the wifi to work and had to figure it out by ourselves. The venue is very average but I felt like we were charged a premium rate so I do not feel that the weekend was value for money.

- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Nomfundo (10/5): The experience was everything I wanted. - The peace of the place, it’s beauty. I like how the staff wanted me to have a good experience while there. A balcony view of the dam :(
I can’t comment on the meals as I was completely self catering.

- Ashley (6/5): The stay was okay - The property is pretty, the beds are great, underfloor heating is a nice touch. We arrived early without having lunch and they made an accommodation for us which was appreciated. The self-catering facilities aren’t really well-equipped as advertised in terms of cooking pots/pans/crockery
The generator was running morning and evening, so it was extremely noisy and not peaceful like expected. I understand wanting to be environmentally conscious and the weather wasn’t in favour of the sun, however as a “serene” environment not having a dual grid system for non-loadshedding times doesn’t make sense to me.
The breakfast was nice but way overpriced.
- Des (9/5): relaxed an friendly staff and accommodation - perfect location - homely vibe was a cold weekend - rooms could have been warmed up before we arrived - had been informed of our arrival time
- Farai (8/5): Lovely stay at Stonecutter’s Lodge - We had a wonderful stay at Stonecutter’s lodge. The chalets are beautiful, clean and have everything needed for a wonderful stay. The chalets are well secured and nestled within a forest-like setting. The breakfast cost is ridiculously high and doesn’t include all aspects that a buffet breakfast should have.
- Sonja (7/5): Country retreat - Spacious rooms and comfortable beds.
Availability of meals as an extra on site.
Tranquil environment. Access road in poor condition. Dams not well stocked with trout as advertised.. Meals on site expensive.
- Glen (10/5): Thank you for our chilaxed stay - Comfortable accommodation, dams well stocked with trout.
Hosts were amazing, accommodated our every needs. Entertained the rugby at early hours.

- Felihle (10/5): perfect, cosy weekend stay - not applicable it was a cold weekend
- Uwe (10/5): Great fishing on dams and river, with beautiful accommodation in a picturesque setting. - Went for a quick weekend fishing trip, and got so much more. Great setting and accommodation made for a perfect weekend. The Studio was an ideal size for the 2 of us, kitchenette with everything we needed, nice comfy bed and lounge area, patio with a beautiful view and an easy to use gas braai. The fishing was top notch in the well stocked dams, and for wild trout on the river with some good catches. Attentive host and great value for money - we will be back.
- Alewyn (10/5): Serene, peaceful, beautiful - The whole breakaway was very pleasant, the tranquility you get from the scenery is unmatched. Nothing
- Tsireledzo (9/5): Beautiful and lovely stay - The customer service was incredible, everyone from the host to the cleaning crew was very accommodating. The fish trout dinner was exceptional, and the breakfast basket was filling and adequate. I had a great time walking along the river and taking pictures. The scenery there is so beautiful. Load shedding was a bit of a bummer, however, the host managed to brief me early enough so that i was in the loop. The DSTV did not have a network, and the signal was very bad, only SABC channels were available.

- Michelle (8/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were well taken care off. - Ours was self-catering. We liked the room and view. Fishing dams were beautiful and a lovely experience. Comfortable beds and easy to use braai facilities. It is very close to the road so you do hear cars driving past. Fishing gear that we rented was a little old and one of the reels didn't work properly.
- Andrea (9/5): Superb - Our stay was wonderful, the staff were great and the fishing was everything we hoped for.

- Smith (10/5): Stonecutters Lodge is absolutely perfect - Everything and everyone. The place is absolutely gorgeous, and the people are beyond helpful and friendly. I was on a solo vacation a woman, and they made me feel right at home and safe and sound. The views, the area, the walks, and the meals (braai basket was my favourite). I have fallen in love with this place and hope to be back very soon! Nothing
