Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room was clean. Very old facility. If all you need is a bed, tv and a shower this is it.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This is a motel where people live in the rooms. It was sketchy at best and im glad my motorcycle was still there in the morning. On a good note the air conditioner did work awesome!
- Tamara (6/5): - Very run down. Poor quality pillows sheets bed spread. The bedding was so old that the pillows were battered and in poor shape. Towels were stained but clean.
- Alissa (10/5): - It was nice and clean.
- thomas lloyd (4/5): - The bedding seemed very worn and thin. The room heat was on a timer so I could only run it for a few minutes at a time, then it would go to a default setting that was most likely in the low 50's. I spent a cold night on a worn out bed. I did not get much sleep.
- Stacy (2/5): Joke - Nothing but a party hotel ppl being very loud no towels or washcloths no soaps etc won't be staying here again
- Tracy (8/5): - Close to where I went
- Joseph (8/5): - It looks like the property is in newer management that has really done a lot to clean the place up. I was VERY HAPPY WITH THE CONDITION AND CLEANLYNESS OF THE ROOM. I inspect my rooms with a black light to see if any bugs or filth are present....I SEEN NOTHING. Restaurant nearby is really good.
- Sharon (6/5): - Very quiet and clean
- Brenda (10/5): - Nice place to sleep. Clean, friendly.
- Roslyn (4/5): - Staff - amazing. Room - what we expected for what we paid. Towels thread bare. - destroyed review of property.
- David (10/5): - For 50 some a night, this was not a bad hotel. The bed was a little bit stiff but hey it was within my budget and the hotel room was really clean. I did enjoy my stay and I definitely will be back if I'm through that area.
- john (10/5): - It was great for the price. No frills kinda place but what you do expect for $65. Went on a Friday night and it was quiet and clean.
- Josette (2/5): - Lock on door not working, lots of people walking past window, dirty
- Craig (10/5): - I gladly give this business a 5-star rating; In my travels I look for basic, "no-frills" lodging at a reasonable price. My room at the Huntington Inn was clean and comfortable; the location was extremely quiet and convenient to my travel route. The young man working the desk was extremely courteous. I'm not sure if he was being trained, as there was an older man standing behind him watching everything he did. It would have been courteous if the older man would have explained the reason he was watching the younger one so closely.
- Aileen (8/5): - Food close by
- Angela (10/5): - The room was very clean, it was nice and warm & it's very quiet here . Very pleasant I
- Daniel (10/5): I’ll stay again - Great stay I was actually very impressed with the cleanliness of the room. And staff was awesome
- JUDY (8/5): - Our room was pleasantly clean for the price. Our room was next door to the laundry facilities, and it was rather noisy with a woman and her routy kids. The kids were up all night long running up and down the walkway in front of the rooms and were pretty loud. Other than the disrespectful family, our stay at the Inn was pleasing.
- Edward (8/5): - I would have given it five stars but the ad said free breakfast and there wasn't any, but at least it was immaculately clean.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - the people were friendly.
- Alan (6/5): - did not like seasonal bugs drawn to outside door light.
- James (8/5): - It was a nice place to stay...
- sara (10/5): - The bathroom was clean and the room was very well decorated and the layout made sense, The room was amazing and clean. Very good and friendly staffs. We will stay again
- Antron (2/5): - Very disgusting...they have bed bugs me an my family was very uncomfortable
- Eric (2/5): Sucks! - This place sucked so hard it is not even funny. Checked in to the room. It smelled really bad. So bad there was no way we were gonug to stay there. We took our things and left and found another hotel down the road. Even though we spent money on that room there was no way we could stay there. Just completely awful and just horrible, Don't reserve a room hers.
- Bobbi (6/5): - There was a mousehole behind the door, the floors didnt look like they've been vacuumed in ages. Dead gnats and insects in frig. Dead fly in bathtub. Wall paper peeling. The lamp stand was thick with dust. Dirty sock in the bed. The room smelled all but pleasant.
I won't stay at Huntington inn again 😕
- Kathy (10/5): - The motel was very clean and there is a very nice restaurant next to it.
- Richard (2/5): - The room very dirty no garbage can no nightstand by the bed the walls have dirt on filth on them the bathroom was dirty the tub was dirty I would recommend taking this hotel off your list
- Shannon (8/5): - Room was clean, comes with fridge and microwave.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The staff was wonderful but the first room was completely filthy with food on the floor and dirty sheets as well as bathroom being filthy and uncleaned. Also very thin walls in first room. Asked for a different room, given with no issues but again bathroom wasn’t really cleaned thoroughly nor did the air conditioner/heat stay working all night. One night so suffered through but won’t be staying again
- Cory (10/5): - Always been good
- Thomas (4/5): - dirty
- Rebecca (2/5): - we literally left after being in the room for less than 5 minutes. there were giant spiders everywhere, burn holes in the bedding, and just an overall gross ness to the room. they also don’t offer refunds so that sucked. we did check in pretty late but the clerk just seemed so annoyed by us when we were being super polite. we slept in the back of a car in a gas station because it was better than that motel room. it’s super cheap for a reason.
- Tara (8/5): Early check in and lowest price in town. - Let us check in early without charge. Lowest price in Huntington for a hotel. Good experience. Thank you!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Cold shower and dirty room - The first room we were put in was the dirtiest hotel hoom I've ever stayed in. The shower looked disgusting. I slept on top of the covers in my clothes. It smelled like mold and mildew. We spoke to the people at the front desk and they moved us the next day (5 night trip). This room was a lot cleaner, still very old and outdated but I expected that. But the shower was luke warm at best.
- Tara (8/5): - Just average
- Justin (8/5): - The beds were comfortable. But we did not have a microwave or refrigerator in our room.
- Justin (8/5): - Room was good area was quiet no microwave or refrigerator in room
- Janet (4/5): BAD EXPERIENCE - This palce was totally run down and the person we spoke with was not ver friendly and acted as of what ever she had doing was more important than checking us in. We got to room and it was freezing in the room. It was 30 degrees outside and NO heat on in room and when we turned it on it was blowing cold air. After 30 min we went to office and they told us to give time. We sat for 2 hours and it finally was a little warmer. We left to go eat and when we got back it was warmer in room. It never got comfortable until after 1:30 a.m. and bathroom was still VERY cool. Never complain about rooms but this is definitely a WILL NEVER STAY again!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The carpet in our room was spotted and stained, bathroom floor looked like it had not been cleaned, the sink had dried toothpaste still in it, smelled funny.
- Kristy (4/5): - When i got there i went to check in i had to call the hotel i believe she was sleeping .. and i said hi im here at the front and she said what do u want? a room? then there wasnt any shampoo in the room- everything was unplugged, the middle lamp had a broken plug in.. just since i work at a hotel as a front desk clerk. Customer service should be nicer. considering i never stayed there before .
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I appreciated how well priced it was. It helps when we were on a budget.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The "Breakfast Room" was filthy. The refrigerator had obviously not been cleaned in a long time, and the tongs intended for use in removing the donuts from the box were coated with the residue of a different type of donut. Truly disgusting!!! The room itself was okay, though definitely in need of an update. When I checked in, there was no toilet paper in the room.
- Robert (8/5): Good budget stay - Was looking for a reasonable priced place to sleep and shower while attending a local event. Definitely fit the bill. Not a high end place, but definitely adequate for what I was needing.
- Tim (6/5): - It was ok - nothing great. The first room we went in - which was supposedly non-smoking - smelled very much of cigarette smoke. We asked to be moved and they put us in a room that wasn't bad - just nothing special.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Horrible! Don't stay there. Run for your life!!!!!#
- DavidMitchell (2/5): - It was 28 degree outside and no heater on in room ! I had to keep my coat on in room for 4 hrs until it reached 65 in my room ! There was mold in the shower, dirty soap dish , smoke alarm taken off ceiling ! The lady in office listened to my complaints and did/said nothing. “Complimentary breakfast” was a box of Cheerios, and a coffee machine ! No fruit, juice machine was out of order! When checking out, no one in office, a glass jar to drop room key in ! I should have stayed in a Rest Area ! So very very disappointing! David Mitchell
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The nearby restaurant was the ONLY redeeming feature about this place. The sink water only came out as a dribble, and the water never got hot ( I left it running for ten minutes). There was no GFI receptacle near the sink. Don't drop the hair dryer unless you want to get electrocuted! I had to turn the heater up to 84 degrees before the the room felt warm. There was a silverfish in my ice bucket, and numerous spiders to deal with. The room was dirty, and none of the lamps worked properly. I only needed to get a few hours sleep because I was traveling, or else I would have never spent the night. I slept with the lights on due to the fear of what else might have been residing in the room.
- Lisa (4/5): - Wonderful people, they were doing upgrades to their hotel, but the room's were filthy, smelled of smoke, ashes & paint chips on the floor. Plus there were flies in the room. I had my service dog with me and they charged me extra which was fine, but i felt like charging them extra because my dog needed another bath when we returned. Again, lovely man in front but the rooms needed work!
- Mike (10/5): - A clean and comfortable room in a quiet setting. All reasonably priced.
- hatty (4/5): not a good hotel - dirty room, no pool, no breakfast. had trouble paying with my bank card even though I had the money in my bank to cover it.
- Verified traveler (6/5): close to the university - our room had a strong smell. we kept the fan on and it helped out.
- Sara (10/5): - Nice room. Quiet location. Comfortable with a nice Pleasing,
The hotel very clean. Room was clean. Bed was amazing. Staff was friendly.Great value, very comfortable room. no complaints either. Great room for the money.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Budget Hotel - No thrills hotel in the middle of nowhere. May need to remind the staff about breakfast
