- Erin (5/5): I don’t recommend - It was close to where I was going It was not clean. There was dust behind the headboard near my head. The floors were black with dirt. The sheets and towels were worn and stained. The door was difficult to lock.
- O’Delia (5/5): - Location was not too bad
- Recordo (6/5): -
- Daniella (4/5): It served its purpose of needing a place to stay for the night - It had a mini fridge and access to netflix There was no screen on the back window of our room and it was open when we arrived, so it was quite chilly. There was no area for a table and chairs to sit at and eat, just a small little desk type area and a random old office chair in the corner. The pillows were very thin and by the time we got back from our event to notice it, the front desk was closed to ask for extra. There were not any extra blankets or pillows in the room either that we could have taken from.
- Shepherd (4/5): - a skunk sprayedand smell came though the ac
- Sherryl (6/5): -
- Steve (6/5): -

- JUN (2/5): - dirty rooms and lining, poor service, should never been there.

- Tina (2/5): - Wouldn't stay here again
- Adil (5/5): -
- Nicole (5/5): I would not stay here again. Nor would I recommend it. - Nice staff. Very friendly. Old and rundown. Stale smokey smell.
Towels were all stained.
Bedspread was stained.
- Elaine (4/5): - First room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, given another room. Smoke detector was malfunctioning and kept going off. Was told if it happened again to just take it down which we had to do.
- Barry (8/5): -
- Jen (4/5): Gross - Staff are friendly, looks clean when you arrive. The beds only have 2 thin pillows. Upon further inspection we found gross blood stains on the pillow covers, burn marks on the mattress covers, duvets along with unknown stains and the tub was dirty. Definitely not worth the money I spent
- Ashley (5/5): To have the room cleaned and take the trash out - Perfect for the location for where we were going to be The room wasn't cleaned during the day after we left for the day
- Gayle (6/5): - Ultra basic room showing its age. No amenities.
- Joanne (8/5): Very good -
- Audrey (6/5): Pleasant - Better than expected based on previous reviews. Our room appears to have had updates fairly recently. Basic but clean. Great bbq restaurant across the road. Good breakfast restaurant next door. Suited our purpose, a place to sleep and grab some dinner before hitting the road again.
- Eva (5/5): Passable -
- Brunno (5/5): Ok for the price… wouldn’t get back unless needed - Honestly is a very expected motel experience. Bathroom sink was clogged and shower hot water was scalding
- Bernie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Micheal (8/5): - Very clean, quiet and can’t beat the price. It’s not luxury but very comfortable for what we were here for. A weekend with family and a place to sleep.
- Douglas (2/5): - Room had an odour, one bed had a third-degree cigarette burn through it whike the other had irange mystery crumbs all over it, implying they dont wash/change the sheets.
Also, they didnt honor the hotels.com price and increased the rate another $20
- Francis (8/5): Very good -
- Jackie (4/5): Sorry but wont be staying here again, barely slept all nite, so uncomfortable. - good location handy to TIms and 3 restaurants very uncomfortable bed, hard, 1 thin pillow, noisy every movement. very very thin towels in bathroom. no coffee maker. fan in bathroom was extremely loud, as was the a/c
- Diane (7/5): The gentleman that checked me in was super fast and efficient. This same gentleman found my Charger in our room and put - Location is amazing! Although right on a main road, it’s set well enough back. I heard NO traffic at night.
- Whothman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jim (9/5): Stayed before, will stay again - Convenient for trip purpose, close to restaurants and fuel
- Denis (7/5): Was great for my solo motorbike ride to port dover for Friday the 13, clean bed, hot shower good price - Great location, beside a good breakfast place and a restaurant across the street. Staff were friendly. Bed and washroom were clean. Great for the price Property lacks maintenance, bad door lock, needs screen in windows, better cleaning hand prints on doors, corners of bathroom.
- Amy (7/5): Good -
- Goldie (9/5): Superb - Very large and comfortable room
- Catalina (6/5): - To begin with, the room was freezing when we checked in. We needed to ask for the heat to be turned on. Next to the AC that was installed on the window was a gap that was filled with an old towel. During the entire night, there was an ice cream truck parked on the grass, within their property, very close to our window and had a motor running all night which made it very noise. Inside the room, the fridge was set as a freezer, which froze my drinks. The glasses in the room were the cheapest plastic glasses possible. When we checked out at 11, nobody was at the reception in order for us to discuss all this.
The owner needs to take care of this property for sure.
- Debbie (8/5): Very friendly staff - Very nice No issues for this
- Guy (4/5): - 2 of the 4 lights in the room did not work. One of the outlets was dead - no power. The fan in the bathroom was very noisy. The sound of the refrigerator was noticeable at night. No AC. The room was clean with little exterior noise being noticeable. The bed was very firm but serviceable.
- Ruby (10/5): - Great place for the money. Definitely not fancy but very practical. Able to park directly outside the motel room (only one story, so no stairs) and roll bikes or skis or luggage in.
- Christopher (2/5): - The filthiest place I've ever stayed...and I've stayed in a lot of places. Grubby and worn out. Dirty, pealing walls and floors, burn marks in the very old 'comforter', no climate controls etc etc. Squalor. Looks like it was last updated a quarter century ago (being generous) and last cleaned the same week. Gross. I won't complain about the noise as that's not really their fault. Avoid
- Sandy (8/5): - It was a nice clean, quiet area.
- Tetiana (6/5): - Good location
- Wendy (6/5): You get what you pay for - I liked the price and location It was so hot and no way to control the heat. Slept with the window open. They did turn the heat down when requested, still ridiculously hot.
As I was checking in, the girl at the front counter told me to “not stain the sheets” what !!!!
When she saw the look on my face, she stated that people sit on the bed & drink coffee.
After getting to my room, there’s no other place to sit but on the bed!
- Dalgarno (3/5): Poor - Run down , when you went into the room chipped furniture . Only a very thin blanket , yellow towels
- Fran (10/5): Cleanliness - Always stay at davidson motel when we travel to paris. The only problem i have is the sheets and the bath floor towel have stains! Very gross!!
- Walt (6/5): Pleasant -
- Fernando (8/5): - Beautiful escape. Nice hideaway nestled in outskirts of picturesque Paris, Ont.
- Deborah (7/5): Good -
- Deborah (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (8/5): - We love going to Paris for the fall fair and Christmas market. It’s really the only motel in the area….and it’s not bad at all. Don’t expect swanky….it’s not. It’s basic and does the trick.
- Dynerowicz (1/5): There was blood on the wall in the kitchen and the beading had cigarette burns on it and there was a big stain. Can’t co - Location Pretty sure the bed in our room is original to the opening of the hotel.
- Edmond (4/5): - Old and grungy
- Kimberley (10/5): - Within walking distance of restaurants. Clean room and friendly service.
- James (1/5): Terrible -
- Sabrina (6/5): Pleasant -
- Huda (8/5): Very good -
- Greg (6/5): - I had no problems other than the final night being extremely hot in the room. Could have been a problem with the heating. The room was clean and quiet.
- Mitchell (7/5): Good - Towels poor quality and they need instructions on how to operate the television .
- Doris (6/5): - Screen door was ripped. TV had to be fixed. Difficulty locking the door when leaving.
- lianne (6/5): - I can’t say I felt entirely safe here. Chairs outside of the rooms, and men sitting outside smoking. Also, my room had a sewage back up in the bathtub> there was some bad smells the last night, but i thought it was because it was a motel. Turns out it was the sewage back up. Couldn’t’ use the bathtub. Also room I stayed 2 nights and the room wasn’t serviced during my stay. Room was pretty dated, and it was pretty clean. Bedding was clean.
- David (6/5): - Just passing through. Basic accomodatiom but the staff was very friendly and helpfull.
- Allan (2/5): - Restaurants right across the road.Good ones.
- Jim (9/5): Superb - Great convenient motel, restaurants across the road. Gas station around the corner, easy access to downtown. Quiet and comfortable.
- Robert (1/5): Terrible - Not much Dirty, ants in the room
- Laurie (1/5): We didn’t stay ! Looked at the room and left - Nothing! It was disgusting!
- Leeann (1/5): TERRIABLE - I didnt like anything everything ,,, not recommending this motel for anyone they need to FUMIGATED for ANTS AND BEDBUGS they were ALL OVER THE WALLS AND on top and inside the mattress pads AND TOWELS . For the money they charge is not worth it . Worse motel IVE ever stayed in
- Laura (8/5): - Great for a weekend away. You get what you pay for. We really enjoyed it.
- Angela (10/5): - This is an old style motel ... very retro. Definitely no frills. But it is clean and the beds are comfortable.
- Deborah (7/5): Needs an update and some extras in the room. - Clean No hooks for clothes or clock or chair or shampoo.
- David (8/5): I would return again if I am in the area. It was a pleasant stay. - It was nice, quiet and clean. noisy bathroom fan
- Michelle (5/5): Passable - The mattress pad was Extremely dirty and there was a bunch of ants in the room.
- Carole (8/5): - It was convenient for where we had to go, didn't spend much time there, slept good.
- Daniel (2/5): Not worth it - Besides being across the street from Camp31.... Nothing. We were there about 8 years ago. Although it was simple, it was clean. Now it's disgusting. Dirty walls, dirty bed skirts, and a stain on the bedspread that resembled vomit. Showed it to the manager who asked me if I wanted to keep it or have a clean one! Who in the world gives this place 5/5?
- Dwight (2/5): - Would not recommend this property to my worst enemy. It smelt like feces and death wrapped up in one. It was so dirty i had to spend over 100 dollars on cleaning supplies new sheets candles and plug ins. The fridge didnt work and the air conditioner blew hot air. The bed was broken and the pillows had holes in them.
- Vic (9/5): We would go back again for sure. - The staff were very good and had excellent service. NOthing
- Cheryl (1/5): I didn't stay! I had to find a clean hotel at 4:30am!!! - It was disgusting Holes in the wall, dirt and bugs in the bathtub, big gross stains on the sheets. The staff is rude, lives in a room beside the office and got upset because we woke them up to check in.
Then when I complained about the absolutely disgusting state of their motel they told me to leave and they'd call the cops.
Finally, they woke up their Dad and he was even more rude but refunded my card after completely disrespecting us and making me give back the key before assisting me.
Absolutely the WORST place I have ever been to!!!!
- Sharon (6/5): - A low cost option that certainly came across as low cost. Room was poorly cleaned, beds were not comfortable, and the room door did not lock properly. Would not recommend.
- Laura (6/5): - It was a clean room. The breakfast restaurant right beside it was really good and the BBQ restaurant right across the street ….Camp 13 was amazing!! The rooms are what you pay for. Small fridge, weird washroom. But we enjoyed our time there
- Francoise (8/5): Very good - A quiet and clean room, good night of sleep The air conditioner was too loud. It was uncomfortable.
- Evan (4/5): - Its okay for an over night but the bed were uncomfortably hard, we stayed 4 night , no one changed the towels while we were there. There was an ant infestation in the bathroom near the sink. There was a Couple outside arguing too that woke us up threw the night..
- Singh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (10/5): - Quiet, clean nice smelling room. Micro and fridge all clean.grounds pretty. Close by was nice rib restaurant.
- Verified traveler (8/5): You Get What You Pay For - We weren't expecting much as it was the cheapest place around. Check-in was the best part of the experience. The clerk was friendly, processed our registration quickly and gave us the key.
When we entered Room 4, it was stifling. I found the window A/C and turned it on. Pretty noisy unit but it eventually cooled the room down. I later found out that the fridge was set on maximum and was running constantly.
The room and (very) basic furnishings were tidy but I wouldn't say spotless. The bed was quite uncomfortable being hard and springy at the same time. Like the A/C, it was also noisy.
To make a trifecta of noise-makers, the bathroom fan turns on the light switch. My wife says it sounded it sounded like a tractor.
I guess we got what we paid for. We won't be returning but if you're on a budget and a heavy sleeper, this might work for you.
- Michael (8/5): - Ok place to stay!?
- Terry (10/5): Had a great weekend in Paris Ontario. A very beautiful little town. People there just laid back coun - Breakfast place we ate at last year has changed owners has gone up in price very much. Not impressed. Bath tub was small but did the job.
- Tara (1/5): Never again! - I’m sorry the location was great for the venue we were attending. The restaurants across the street were good options to eat at and Uber to the venue. The room itself was disgusting The room needs a deep clean. My husband at first thought he spotted bed bugs but no what we found was mice droppings. Box springs stains are awful. Comforters had multiple cigarette burns. Thank god sheets were clean, towels clean. Cobwebs in bathroom. Clearly not clean thoroughly which is unfortunate bc it could serve its purpose if they gave the rooms some care - new comforters, clean properly. Beds very hard , stained- replace this stuff and you could offer a cute affordable place to stay
