• Heather (8/5): Excellent hotel. Would recommend. - Such a friendly hotel, the staff couldn't do enough for you. The room was comfortable and very clean, so was the bathroom. Free parking was excellent. It is very convenient for the town centre and is on a bus route. Breakfast was lovely. It was a pre order system and freshly cooked. Their restaurant is popular too, which is Lebanese/Indian. The amount of stairs to get to our room. But they carried our baggage for us and gave us a key to access from a different door , which was great.

All pervading smell of curry around the hotel as there is an Indian restaurant on site. We love Indian food, but don't want to smell it quite so much. The room was on the small side but we knew that when we booked it.

• Stephen (8/5): Much improved from a year ago - We stayed a year ago for a night and whilst it was ok wouldn’t have said particularly good. However, stayed one night again this year and very much improved. Room was big and clean (last time there was a toilet smell although bathroom was clean). One thing was there were bread rolls in the bathroom bin so obviously hadn’t been checked and emptied before we got in. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

Poor check-in and no check-out staff available. uncomfortable and creaky beds, no-lift and room upstairs, overlooking noisy pub. Poor standard of decor, breakfast cheap quality cooked food, Terrible overpricing -£182:00 for one night, atrocious. No Invoice for stay , no staff available for check-out. Would not stay again! Very poor standard Hotel.

We thought we had booked a room in a hotel not in an annexe. The room we were initially given was unacceptable beds too low poor decor strange smell curtains pulled together to hide view. • H-V (7/5): - Very comfy bed. Had a room at the front, and the road is very busy, so you do need the provided ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The room has a table and chairs which you don't see often, and made working in the room very comfortable. Wifi reception was excellent. Limited parking. Their Unifi based wifi portal does URL filtering, which won't please some people and requires a VPN to access sites it decides to block. Especially since in my case it blocked access to two sites I had to work on.
• Neve (9/5): We had a lovely stay and would definitely go back. - Breakfast was lovely, our room was on the bottom floor facing a main road, hospital near by so lots of ambulance noise, bathroom we had was fantastic. The noise from the road, we had a front door next to our bedroom which was used a lot.

• Lynsay (7/5): Overall I enjoyed my time in Perth and Grampian Hotel. I will be recommending to friends and family. - The hotel itself is on a main road close to the town centre. Rooms are modernly decorated. Staff are extremely welcoming and attentive. Will go out their way to make you feel comfortable. The bed was so comfy and as someone who doesn't sleep well I slept right through the night! The only thing that lets this hotel down is the lack of access for disabled people. No ramp to access building and no lift to access rooms on upper level. The stairs heading to the upper levels are extremely steep.

When we first got to the hotel we did tell staff that the room was really cold! They said they would sort this! We got back late that night and the room was still freezing cold! The next day we complained that the heating was still not on and that the room was sooo cold! They did have it sorted for our second night! People smoking at entrance to hotel, is very off putting!!!

• balpastef (9/5): - Nice room and helpful staff. I recommend it The room temperature is controlled centrally, so you can't increase the temperature if you feel cold. Also, the breakfast is average.

• jimmH4604QM (10/5): Great value for money, friendly staff and superb restaurant. - The Grampian hotel is great value for money. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have everything you need. At this price point you can't get better. All staff we encountered were very attentive and helpful, breakfast was good quality, although might benefit from a slightly later offering at the weekends. There is an in house restaurant which does indian food and again this is a gem with a large choice and top quality food. If you're ever in Perth I would highly recommend.
