• colin (7/5): San Gimignano has to be seen and by - A good location in a historic building within the city walls. The hostess is charming and the space ample. Although the check in times are not generous we were welcomed early and luggage storage was offered on departure. Needs a little investment to justify the price. The postage stamp sized tv is a joke. Twin mattress on the bed not really comfortable. Lighting poor. Not even a bottle of water provided without charge. The furniture is old but not antique or stylish. Small changes would alter the perception that you are just another tourist being squeezed a bit too much. Reinvesting a little of the income would help greatly.

• Stephanie (8/5): Great location to explore San Gimignano - Great location, rustic room in old converted palace. Brunella, hostess, super friendly, and you can take your dog (not that I had one🙃) Smallish shower with a shower curtain that constantly wants to stick to you.

Ambienti puliti e attrezzati. La location si trova in una posizione comoda per raggiungere i maggiori punti di interesse e ristoranti. Possibilità di parcheggio, sia a pagamento che gratuito a pochi passi dalla struttura. Nulla.

• Andrew (9/5): A comfortsble and clean room in a historic building in the town centre run by a charming owner. - Right in the heart of the town, the room was extremely comfortable and clean, even though not so big. Brunella the owner was delightful and very helpful. She gave a list of restaurant recommendations, one of which we chose and is was excellent.

• Leia (10/5): Exceptional - Brunella was a wonderful host and provided us with loads of info and recommendations, she was super communicative and allowed me to stow my bag after check out so that I could look around San Gimignano whilst awaiting the bus to Monteriggioni. We had a lovely stay despite it being only one night long and would certainly come back in the future!

• Graham (10/5): Our stay in Gimignano - Due to rain, we arrived very early. We asked if we could leave our backpacks there until the check in time. Brunella, our host said “Come now”. Wonderful surprise. This accommodation was perfect for us. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Nothing to dislike.

• Everdina (9/5): Absolutely beautiful hotel! - It was an incredibly beautiful room! There was a microwave, a fridge, an automatic espresso maker, and a water boiler. Coffee and tea were provided. There was also a selection of water, juices, pop, beer and wine available in the room for very reasonable prices. I was able to check in a little earlier. The location right off the main street in the old city centre was very good! Absolutely lovely hotel! What I thought was a little surprising in an old Palazzo is that you can hear the conversation in the room next-door. I thought the walls would’ve been thicker. The towels need some upgrading, but that’s all. It really is a very nice hotel.

• Ian (8/5): Very good - A beautiful apartment within the city walls with a comfortable bed and a surprisingly large bathroom. Tea-making facilties, a microwave and cutlery were very convenient. Our host provided a space on the ground floor to park our bikes securely The apartment looks across the street to another old building which we liked but there are no views of the surroundings. The room is compact but completely adequate with beautiful features

No street noise with windows closed, but also enjoyed listening to the bustle with windows open and drinking wine in the evening. Good place for those traveling on the lighter side.

Location was perfect, close to the main sights of San Gimignano with many restaurants and bars close by. The apartment was in an historical building and very charming and like going back to medieval times. Bathroom was clean and spacious and there were extra bed covers available if needed. My host was very helpful and provided information of local historical buildings and recommended various restaurants. All in all a pleasant experience and I would highly recommend to stay there a couple of nights.

• Gabriel (8/5): Very good - The location was great, inside the medieval city, in a historical building. Signora Brunella was very nice and provided us some information, such as tourist attractions and places to eat. The room had a cosy atmosphere, with a nice sized bathroom. Unfortunately, the beds were a bit small and not confortable for us, and I'd consider changig the mattresses as a good sleep gives you a good mood for the next day.

Brunella is a terrific host who gave us lots of information about the best places to eat in the city. We followed her recommendations and loved it. I know some people might be concerned about no air conditioning but we were just fine with fan inside room and breeze coming through open windows

All while staying down to earth. The host was extremely welcoming, flexible and nice :) Even some snacks and drinks available in the room at cost. A fantastic place in San Gimignano if you are looking for authentic over luxury - but still pretty luxurious! Nothing.

Our host gave us a map of the city, explaining the history of our building and marking her favorite places to eat and the best sites to visit. A great stay with incredible accomodations. No air conditioning, but with the large windows (with great views) and the fan, it was very comfortable.

• Daniela (10/5): Authentic tuscan house in San Gimignano. - This was the best place we've stayed during our trip to Italy so far. The appartment was very confortable, clean and had everything we needed for our stay in San Gimignano. The location is extraordinary, right on the historic city. It has plenty of natural light and the decoration is very well thought out, giving the guests the feeling of being in an authentic tuscan house. The communication with Brunella was efficient and she is a very nice host. I would definetly stay there again. I have nothing bad to report, I really enjoyed everything.
