From the moment we arrived, he went above - Our stay at By the Sea Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of exceptional. The property itself is incredibly clean and quaint, with charming details that make it feel like a true coastal retreat. Its location right on the beach is unbeatable—just steps from the sand, with ocean views that instantly put you at ease. It is a private beach with a lovely room for breakfast looking at the water. Breakfast food is excellent. Fine sand and comfortable seating. It is not possible for anyone to sleep on the sofa bed. Two metal bars are prominent and blankets under them do not help. It is old and worn out. The WIFI signal is marginal and frustrating.

- May (7/5): The hotel is very comfortable with all the essential amenities including laundry and breakfast. Excellent location, righ - The hotel is located in Dennis Port right on the beach with its own small private strip of beach. This is great during a busy July 4th weekend as the public beach next door was very packed. We didn’t have problem finding parking. We stayed in the suite and it was spacious with a full size kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator, a small dishwasher. There were just enough cooking supplies and dishes. The room next to us has a balcony that look into our bedroom. So we had to keep our shades drawn and didn’t get to enjoy the ocean view. And our neighbors were hanging out on the balcony talking into the evening.

The shower pressure was a bit unfortunate. Many of the umbrellas on the beach did not work properly. The AC in my room kicking on & off was very loud, so I had to sleep with AC off & the fan setting on, thankfully it wasn't too warm.

- Tracey (10/5): Simply, the staff made the entire experience worth the cost. The proximity to the ocean, although there are others, did - The property was well-maintained and very close proximity to the ocean by way of their private beach. I stayed 5 days / 4 nights and even though it rained 3 of these days, I still encountered the attributes of being by the ocean thanks to the large veranda that extending to the private beach with a full view and full sound of the ocean waves. I loved that you could open any/all of the windows and still take in the salt air and majestic sounds of the great blue. The story and history of this B&B (brought over from Nantucket by way of an iceberg), is fascinating. Nothing stands out that I disliked about the property. Fairly new owners working hard and making every effort to shore things up by updating hardware and handy-man shortcuts to keep things in good working order.

- Lisa (7/5): Enjoyed being all together with the family - That my whole family could stay there. It was close to the beach The backyard was like our own little private secluded beach. It had an out door shower with warm water. I like the open concept. There were a lot of remotes with dead batteries and you didn’t know what one went to what TV. Even the clock hanging on the wall had dead batteries. There were a lot of blown light bulbs. The step going off the back deck was a little too steep for my old knees. And my 2 year old grandson’s little legs. In fact poor little guy fell on nose dived into the cement stepping stone. He ended up the a skinned up forehead and nose There are no keys to unlock the bedroom doors. A lady had to come and unlock one for us.

- Xiaomei (10/5): Lab Day weekend beach trip - The room was clean and service was very good. The breakfast was made freshly every morning. Both check-in and check-out process were simple and convenient. We would like to come back in the future.

- Diana (6/5): Enjoyed our stay. - On the ocean. Beds were comfortable. Accomodiated our party of 13. No restaurants or convenience stores within walking distance from there. Breakfast wasn’t included for the suites.
- Mary (6/5): Pleasant - The location was beautiful. The staff at breakfast were outstanding very nice. The room was way to small. It made it uncomfortable to move around. Its just big enough to fit the double bed. To cramped for anyone.
- Morris (2/5): Above- not good - I never received an email back by the owners today. Almost $600/night was twice what the place was worth, but buyer beware. I was charged a cleaning fee for each day I was there, but was never once told that I was being charged each day AND I was never once offered that service. That is called a theft of service. I manage a site with 50 3 bedroom Townhomes at a ski resort- I am very familiar with the rules and laws. We left everything very nice, left early, left a housekeeper’s tip, only property feature I tried to take advantage of was the free coffee 24 hours a day- 2 of the 4 mornings, that area was locked w lights off- just the point, when we pay for 1 thing & get another Parking was a HUGE issue. No one monitored whom was there- if 1 car per rental policy was enforced. 1 of the 4 nights we got a spot in a corner so tight- sure enough, car doors got dinged up. All other days & nights, we had to park 2.5 blocks away and walk back! For $600/night! I took pictures of the cars with no tags on mirrors and showing how few spots there were- less spots than units
- Diane (9/5): Wonderful stay, liked the size of the suite and the small kitchen and stove. Loved the location! - Location was perfect really enjoyed their beach, complimentary towels, and availabilty of beach chairs and umbrellas.
- Sylvia (10/5): overall it was a great experience and I would definitely come back. - The property is very cozy and right by the beach. Beach towels are provided. Parking was not a problem, enough space available. The stuff is very nice and welcoming. Breakfast is included but very simple, Omelette, Pancakes and French Toast. Fridge is in the room, and Microwave is available for everyone to use. I’d very much recommend that place. Good restaurants in walking distance for dinner. Our room was very small, literally the size of the bed. For $400 a night I would have expected a bigger room.

- Danielle (7/5): Good location - Great location The doorstop on our front door kept getting stuck down so closing the door was a nightmare. Told staff and they taped it, but tape didn’t hold.
- Anonymous (10/5): Quaint Bed and Breakfast enjoyable stay - Very quaint bed and breakfast. Staff was very friendly. Our room was very nice. Air conditioning was really good. Breakfast was awesome. Freshly made every morning. The beach area was okay. The water had so much seaweed in it I couldn’t enjoy it.

Our view was beautiful. Our room was very clean. It was close to restaurants and mini golf and ice cream. I did not like the parking. They ran out of parking passes (it’s next door to a public beach) and was told to come back the next day (Saturday). We waited almost 2 hours for someone to come in (10AM) only to be told they still didn’t have any. We were afraid of being towed. We went out for the day and at 3PM they gave us a parking pass. I was annoyed because I wanted to start my day earlier than 10AM.
