• Guest (7/5): - Room was clean and nicely rustic. Room was small and I wish there was a mini fridge and coffee pot. The community room was nice to have for relaxing and morning coffee.

• Guest (9/5): Comfortable and clean - would stay again - Clean and comfortable room. We ate in the Great Room and out back at the picnic tables. Staff was kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Not sure which building to check in as there were many buildings but the staff was helpful.

• Heather (10/5): - Lovely lodge feel to the rooms. Very clean, housekeeping staff are tremendous! Quiet location with amazing dining right across the street. We had a great time and have already recommended it to friends.
• Carole (3/5): Cute doesn't override safety - Cute as a button, clean small Electric went out at night. No emergency provisions. Called main property. No one on site to assist. Following morning..no manager on duty. Left written note to manager..asked for written reply. 7 days later someone called. Also emailed manager at main site. 2x no one has ever responded. Oh..there was no hot water in shower..sink did have hot water. I went there after working an event for 2 days..looking forward to just relaxing....never happened. I have traveled most y entire life and have never had such a poor experience. As I said, cute as a button...better they should have a trained staff with tools in their toolbox, for emergency issues. Safety issues were also present. And for this? It wasn't inexpensive. You may contact me if you wish. I have NEVER written to a booking company or hotel before.. Carole Mackler

• Julie (10/5): - We loved our stay, the room was beautifully decorated, the bed was comfortable, the room was very clean. The price was reasonable unlike the sister hotel cost at Mirabeau. We ate at Rosalies right across the street which was phenomenal. I would recommend this place to friends and family and will definitely return!

• Joe (10/5): - My wife and I stayed at the Finger Lakes Lodging for 4 nights. We booked a room with king size bed. We loved the comfort of the bad and room furnishings. It was very quiet and a 3 minute drive to downtown Skaneateles and the lake. There is a back porch with Adirondack style chairs. The shower had great water pressure. We would definitely stay here again!
• Raymond (3/5): Photos of this motel don't show its poor condition and, therefore, it is way overpriced. - Packing up and leaving Building and grounds were in poor/dirty condition. No reception, no in-room coffee. tiny bathroom. This facility is begging to be torn down and I would guess that this is the plan envisioned by the owners. This is a vacant lot waiting to happen.

• Aime (8/5): - I didn’t like the way it was decorated and the property had nothing to do and nothing to it except some Adirondack chairs. Despite being a sister property to Mirbeau you were not able to obtain a day pass to the facility to use the hot tub area. Would not stay again.

• Margaret and William (10/5): Adorable Adirondack Retreat Minutes from Skaneatles - Loved the proximity to the village of Skaneateles. Loved the Adirondack inspired decor! Enjoyed mornings with coffee, bird songs, and a book on the incredibly lovely back deck. Loved the Mirbeau Inspire bath amenities a such luxurious spa products. Would have loved a mini fridge in our room but as we were next door to the great room we could pop over there. An ice machine would have been nice. And even a vending machine for juices and seltzers, etc, as there’s just a gas station with a mini market. Also info about treatments, facilities and menus at Mirbeau would have been welcome.

• Ron (8/5): Decent affordable option in swanky resort town - The rooms were clean, affordable and located fairly close to Skanateales. Staff handled a problem we had fairly well. We had to change rooms as the bathroom door abruptly split making impossible to close. The staff handled it with ease and moved us. Check in is a bit awkward as its at a much nicer resort just up the road. Its like staying at EconoLodge but checking in at the W.

• Danby12 (6/5): Could have done better. - The owners, the Mirbeau Spa I believe, were going for an Adirondack or Maine woods look, but they didn't quite carry it off. I was disappointed by the room for a number of reasons. The room is very small, and felt cramped. We were in a room with 2 double beds that were covered with large oversize quilts with lots of moose, and woodsy sorts of things with pillows with shams of the same design. This made a very small room feel too busy, over decorated, and more crowded visually. I would have preferred a more restful look of white bedding to go with the kitsch.The back porch was nice with Adirondack chairs and a pretty view of a field. The bathroom didn't feel too cramped but as one reviewer reported it could use some more places to put personal stuff. When the bathroom light comes on so does the ceiling fan. Very loudly! Management should invest in a nice nite light and avoid waking people up. The AC and the dehumidifier (which is necessary) are also quite loud. All of these are easily fixable. I felt it was overpriced for what we got.

• Butryn (8/5): The accommodations were just right for our Finger Lakes getaway - It was very clean and we loved the Adirondack theme Rooms were small, but we utilized the Great Room which was real nice

Very expensive for a tiny room. - Clean and comfy The room was so tiny and some of the furniture so large that there was barely room for our suitcase. Also there was no refrigerator and not even enough room to use our mini kuerig for coffee.

Our two queen-bed room was OK - as clean as a rustic room like that can be. Our chief complaint was that we felt that neither bed was very comfortable - the mattresses were very soft.

• James (8/5): Liked the location, style and furnishings, convenience, and coziness. Will stay there again. - Really liked the Adirondack-style structure and decor. The room was very cozy, and furnished with Adirondack rustic furniture and decorations. There was even a gas fireplace that we used. In the center of the facility is a "Great Room" with a high ceiling, and an Adirondack canoe hanging from it, along with plenty of Adirondack style furnishings, and a stone fireplace. Our room didn't have a microwave or mini-fridge, although the Great Room had both, along with a fancy coffee machine.
