Zwei Handtücher pro Person, Wasserkocher, Trinkwasser, Duschgel, Shampoo und co. Die Dachterrasse ist wunderbar, hat einen tollen Blick und ist recht gemütlich. Zudem ist das Essen prima und das Personal echt super nett und der Chef schaut regelmässig die Runde, ob alles okay ist. Der Transfer vom Parkplatz erfolgt per Moped, oder man nimmt sich ein Tuktuk läuft ganz einfach 😀 Unkomplizierte Zahlung per Karte möglich. Nichts, es war alles prima

• Laura (10/5): A gem of a place! - An incredibly pleasant stay! The view from the terrace where meals are served alone would be worth staying here already. But besides this the room is very nice and clean and the staff so helpful. As I was there for Holi and I had already checked out, they were so nice as to give me a place where to shower and give me a lift to the parking by motorbike as there were no tuk tuks available. I would love to stay here again in the future! Absolutely nothing.

The room had beautiful views over the city, and the rooftop restaurant offered breathtaking sunrise and night views. The atmosphere is charming, and the hot water was surprisingly plentiful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to fully experience the fort. ジャイサルメールフォートの素晴らしさを体感できる宿。 歴史ある建物にインドらしかと可愛らしさあり内装。 張り出し窓からは街が一望でき、朝日も見え、暑い中バルコニーより雰囲気もあってむしろ良いです。 トイレの窓からも同じ絶景が(笑・ちゃんとカーテンあります) 降って下から窓を眺めるとまさにフォートに泊まっていた感を味わえて感動しました。 屋上レストランからは街とフォートの両方の景色が楽しめ、もちろん朝日も夜景も素晴らしい。 チキンカレーも美味しかったです。 こんな場所なのにお湯は申し訳ないほどふんだに出ました。 フォートは広くはないですが、パレスまでもすぐです。 フォート内にはバイクしか上がれないため入り口まではトゥクトゥク、そこからはバイクで迎えてくれました。 良くない点は思いつかない。

• joanne (10/5): Excellent historic Haveli in the walls of Jaisalmer Fort. - Genuine historic Haveli (Merchants House) right in the heart of Jaisalmer Fort. Accommodation was in a fantastic location actually in the Fort walls, fabulous terrace with wonderful views, some of the best in town. Extremely friendly, happy and helpful staff. Excellent home cooked food, tasty and generous portions. Such good value for money and we really felt at home. We were met outside the fort and our bags were taken up to the room on the back of their motorcycle and we walked up to the hotel as no tuk tuks are allowed within the fort during the day. Jaisalmer was our favourite place in Rajasthan, a butter coloured fairytale fortress with medieval narrow streets bustling with life. It is definitely for the more adventurous type and you need to be able to walk well as there are many steps, inclines and uneven surfaces throughout the town and as it is a very old building, the accommodation has no lift. We had 4 brilliant days there and would recommend staying at least 3 days to get to know the town, chill out and go with the flow. The town is off the beaten track for foreign tourists and takes time to get there, it is very popular with locals and gets busy and crowded after 1100 so try to visit the fort before this. Take warm clothes if visiting in winter (high) season as it gets cold in the evening and early morning- best to wear layers rather than thick jumpers. room was a bit cold but it was colder than usual in January when we stayed

• Alasdair (9/5): Great views, convenient location to explore the fort. - The Hotel is an old haveli positioned on the walls high up in Jaisalmer Fort, this means great views throughout the hotel but an uphill walk to reach the property. Cars are no allowed into the fort so our driver phoned the hotel at the entrance to the fort and staff came and transported our luggage to the hotel. Our spacious room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast could be taken inside the restaurant or on the terrace, it was prepared to order and there were plenty of options and freshly squeezed orange juice and fruit plates. The restaurant is open all day and serves good reasonably priced food. The property efficiently booked us a desert tour and onward travel. The doorway to our ensuite was low (which was pointed out to us) which resulted in a couple of sore heads. There was loud music at night coming from the town below at the weekend (probably a wedding?) no fault of the hotel and the other hotels would have been similarly affected

So getting to the room with baggage and leaving was a bit challenging. But the staff were excellent and they picked up our baggage and us on motorcycles
• Jonathan (9/5): So lovely to return to Gagh Jaisal after many years - it is still magical 😊 - Perfectly situated IN the wall of the fort, with rooftop terrace and restaurant looking across to the Royal Palace, it is literally at the centre of the action. The staff are delightful, and the food delicious and inexpensive. We were on the ground floor, and it was necessary to cover the sink plug-hole and shower drain-away to prevent the smell of the drain in the bathroom.
• Jackie (10/5): Prefect! - This hotel is exceptional - the location, the rooms, the staff, the food, were all perfect. We stayed in the Opium Room which has a specatcular view over the fort. Breakfast was really tasty and plentiful and we ate in the restaurant most nights. They have a great chef! The staff were friendly and so helpful, as was everyone in the close surroundings of the hotel. We loved it here and didn't want to leave. Thank you to every single member of staff. You all helped make our holiday perfect. There is nothing to dislike here!

• Ainara (10/5): Best hotel of our trip in India - We loved our stay at Hotel Garh Jaisal Haveli in Jaisalmer. The owner was incredibly kind and even came to pick us up on motorbikes when our driver couldn’t find the nearest parking. The haveli is beautifully preserved, charming, and offers stunning views from the rooftop terrace. Our room was spotless, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We truly feel it’s the best hotel in Jaisalmer and highly recommend it. Nothing
• Elizabeth (10/5): Charming - Fantastic location in the Fort itself with views over the town. Lovely dining area on the roof with shade and sunshine to suit. Good food and excellent service. Everyone was very welcoming and supportive with useful introductions to guides etc. the hotel is small but nicely furnished in keeping with the haveli feel and location. Thoroughly enjoyed both the hotel and Jaisalmer. Restrictions on vehicular access can be difficult with luggage as suitcases with wheels don’t cope well with the stone roads. However this was solved with cheerfully provided help.

The cook was super friendly and was happy to show me his kitchen. Our room, Opium , had a gorgeous window seat with a beautiful view. No complaints about anything

• Martha (10/5): - We stayed for two nights at Hotel Garh Jaisal either side of a desert safari. Tarun was so helpful, providing us with a room when we arrived on the early train, storing our luggage while we went to the desert and helping is when my partner thought he'd lost his phone! The room was comfortable and clean. But the really special thing about thos property is the rooftop. We spent 2 afternoons reading and people watching the comings and goings of Jaisalmer fort, and both breakfast and dinner were really good! Nothing!
• Sarah Keene (10/5): Magnificent heritage experience - Anit, the manager, and his team are terrific, making me feel at home. The haveli has a gorgeous and quiet location. The room was beautiful with historic texile wall hangings. The built in balcony niche for sitting was overlooking the fort battlements and the town below. Meals, delicious, were on the scenic rooftop looking toward the palace and town below... I hope to return next year!

This hotel is run by the loveliest group of people and they made our stay really special. It was my husbands birthday and they really went above and beyond to make it the most special day. Estuve en la habitación Scarlet y en la Sky blue, ambas son preciosas. Está muy bien ubicado, dentro del fuerte, y tiene una terraza con unas vistas increíbles. Aunque lo mejor, sin duda, es la amabilidad del personal. Tarun me ayudó con el transporte, check in y gestiones varias, es muy atento y considerado. También gracias a los cocineros Ransid y Osoid, por la comida tan deliciosa y por ser tan atentos y simpáticos. Y gracias a todo el personal, me he sentido muy cuidada y atendida en cada detalle.

• Serenity (10/5): - Gorgeous building in the centre of the fort. Architecture was breathtaking and the rooftop had stunning views. Lovely breakfast aswell
• ALBA (9/5): Habitación preciosa - Ubicación dentro de la fortaleza. Habitación preciosa con vistas a la ciudad. Personal simpático y amable.

• Flavia (10/5): Jaisalmer da sogno - La struttura si trova nel forte di Jaisalmer, ideale per visitare la città. Si arriva in tuk facilmente. Il ristorante è ottimo ed economico. Il personale gentilissimo è sempre disponibile. Consigliatissimo. La stanza era spaziosa ed abbastanza pulita anche se migliorabile. È capitato che mancasse la luce ma l’hotel ha dei generatori di emergenza e comunque è qualcosa che accade in tutta l’India e non dipende da loro.
