• Joseph (9/5): - I liked the Bavarian theme. Water park was fun and so was the adult pool and whirlpool. Location of hotel was good. Beds were comfortable. It was nice to have a gift shop & restaurant on premises. I liked all the activities like snack bar, arcade etc on premises. We got lost finding some things. There is a $35 resort fee so I guess that is for the water park.

It takes a lot of money to have a facility of that caliber. The food in Oma’s restaurant should have more variety. I have food allergies and only allowed me one thing on the menu I could eat.

Unfortunately our room wasn’t super clean, my little one found a pack of cigarettes on the side of the bed by the wall (I thought okay that’s easy to miss) but then my 1yr old found (what looked like) a nicotine patch on the floor next to the chair in our room and almost put it in his mouth.. so definitely wasn’t vacuumed well if at all because there were a lot of little crumbs on the floor in that area. Other than that everything else was wonderful

• Deanna (9/5): A great memory-making getaway with the family! - Nice! Great options for everyone in the family We are a family of 6, so the family suite was our only option. The pullout couch was very uncomfortable! That is really my only complaint. But it was a rough two nights of sleep

Staff never checked in or waited on us at water park. Breakfast buffet had stale donuts and muffins ( not worth the $20 a person)

• Slayton (5/5): Water park was pretty and big BUT ...... - The water park itself was awesome. The water park staff, I have a 7 year old son with autism and the way he was talked to by a work on the racing slide was just ridiculous and so uncalled for he doesn't understand certain direction. He was in line next to his 19 yr old brother and didn't think he should step onto the slide until it was his turn. The worker said come on don't be shy screaming and then said hello I said come on looked over to strangers on the slide next to us an said where we all including my 7yro son could hear him to complete strangers "I don't know what he doesn't get it's as easy as 1 2 3" My son doesn't understand things like other kids and that's ok. But it completely wrecked our day my son no longer wanted to ride the slides he was very anxious we did the very best we could to keep the day running smoothly but after that Incident our day was wrecked. I could not help myself I was extremely angry about the incident and said something to the water park manager I believe it was the manger. She said she would speak to the other manger and find me . My husband, my 7yro son an myself walked by the station and she walked up and said she spoke to him and he was sorry 😔 WHAT..... My son did NOT get an apology. Just completely unacceptable. Another negative the first day we where there we were in the kiddos pool and there was stuff floating it was 💯 POOP 💩. Myself and 2 other families pointed it out to the Life guard showed her and she said 'ummm... I don't know if it is and the other lady said ya that is definitely 💩. All 4 of the families including myself walked out of the pool because 🤢. And no whistle no having everyone get out to check and make sure it was NOT or WAS. I understand a teenager may not know what baby poop looks like but there was a group telling her that's what it was.

• Charlotte (10/5): - I’ve been to the Bavarian Inn several times it’s one of my favorite hotels. Love that they have so much to do there such as swimming, water slides, putt putt and a variety of options for food all in one place and it’s walking distance into town.

All friendly helpful staff! - We loved the convenience of Rooms to the water park and all the Activities, Also loved the pools and hot tubs that were outside of the water park, so many choices. Our room was nice except our sink clogged a bit, looked like it was old probably could be replaced. Loved the nice size fridge and having a microwave in room! Beds were comfy too

• Darnell (6/5): - The family fun center was great. Destinie Darnell4/53 hours ago on  Google We had a one night stay with 2 rooms booked several months in advance. When booking I requested adjoining rooms and was told none were available. To gain early access to 1 room and the waterpark at 1pm had to pay an additional $150 dollars. When we got to our room there was an adjoining room and we were really happy to get the access to that. But when we went down that wasnt the room we were given. I asked about it and was told they received no notes from Booking.com about wanting the adjoining room and it was nothing they could do about it. The other thing about the room (we had 2 queen bed rooms) the sink was outside the bathroom in an open area and the toilet and tub were crammed into a closet size space. My husband had to really mess with the shower to get it going and then the tub wasnt draining because the lever was stuck. He fixed that too. (The water pressure was amazing though) The layout just made it difficult because you couldn't change in the bathroom you had to do it by the sink but only a short wall separated the area from the rest of the rooms so there was no privacy. The mini fridge kept popping open and made a really bad buzzing noise. The beds just had this weird decoration material wrapped at the foot of the beds and there were no actual comforters just a quilted pad thing in between 2 sheets. You also couldn't control the room temperature and it was really cold over night. The carpet and chairs were clearly soiled and old. The rooms also had very old black and white photos of families of people and it was just kind of creepy

• Straubel (2/5): Won't be using booking.com again - Ask for joining rooms didn't get them. Booked on booking and probably won't go again or book here again . Booking told them 2plus 1 in each room I put 4plus 1 when I booked . Was charged an extra $177 per room on check in 1 room was on the first floor 1 on the second almost across the hotel . Waterpark is busy and like a maze to find it no rhyme or reason . Hotel was clean and friendly staff but everywhere you went it just felt like a money grab. I know its supposed to be but I cant explain the feeling it just felt off all the time . Pools are very cold . The activity pool was closed when we were there . The building itself feels very old and dated .

We appreciated that the waterpark was available until 9 pm the day of check out. The facility is showing it's age. It needs to be refreshed. In our guest room paint was flaking off the ceiling.
