Guest Reviews
- Paul (8/5): - Roomy comfortable Sliding door to verandah was difficult to open and close and the light coming under door was annoying
- Rachel (7/5): Great comfortable beds, linen exceptionally clean, shower super hot and great flow. - Central A little dusty
- christine (7/5): -
- Ben (6/5): -
- Justin (5/5): -
- Lyn (3/5): -
- Karlita (8/5): -
- nicole (5/5): Not very good value for money but convenient if arriving in town late at night - They allow late check in which is easy to organise There are loud noises and vibrations possibly from the location it’s in early in the morning around 5-6am.
The front door was badly damaged (potentially from previous flooding) but it left me feeling unsafe security wise. The microwave is up too high to safely reach or use and when I climbed on a chair to reach it I found old food left in there. Also the bowls in the cupboard were visibly dirty and I had to wash them before I could use them.
- Kerry (9/5): -
- Sally (6/5): - The first-floor rooms felt very secure with the additional gate locks on the stairs. The linen was clean/crisp, and fresh. Additionally, the toiletries were good quality! Tasty tea/coffee/biscuit options too! Netflix was a great unexpected bonus! The mattresses were uncomfortable; I could feel the springs. Our king bed was two singles pushed together, which is fine, although the crack in the middle of the beds was incredibly noticeable. The bathroom had no ventilation & the extraction fan wasn't working (more towel rails needed)
We were positioned at the roadside of the motel, with everyone on the street being able to see into the room, and we had no options apart from blockout curtains. So we either had to choose natural light and being on display, or privacy with curtains, but zero light. Some sheer/privacy curtains would be awesome to allow in the natural light.
The room is lacking any hanging space/coat hangers for jackets, etc.
- Lyndal (5/5): - Bed good
Shower good but small No milk provided
No sugar
Fridge dirty inside
- Leanne (8/5): -
- Anthony (7/5): Easy and affordable! - The location was perfect. Central in Lismore, just down the street from our workshop that we had to attend. It was right next to the Civic hotel which had a lovely Japanese restaurant. The only complaint I have is the noise when vehicles are coming in and out of the motel carpark, but other than that it was a great stay :)
- Bill (7/5): - no breakfast
- Rathish (9/5): super - location , car park nothing
- Kunal (10/5): Its a great stay ; nice property; highly recommended for staying in Lismore especially with Family. - Its very specious; very convenient location . N/A
- Vanessa (6/5): - It was close to town The balcony door couldn’t lock or close properly
- Kate (7/5): Short stop through - had a good sleep - Comfortable bed and spacious room I had to phone to get access to the key at check in - the lady asked for my credit card details which I didn’t have on hand as I’d paid through Booking.com and only had my card on my iPhone which doesn’t show the full number so I couldn’t read it out to her. She was a bit snippy with me. Luckily my husband had a joint card on hand otherwise it sounded like we would have been turned away at 8pm with kids in tow. The rooms look onto the parking area and it feels a bit dodgy and dated but it’s good enough for the price
- Graham (9/5): -
- Tamara (7/5): The room was nice - Very nice and very close to the street Nothing
- Peter (10/5): Location, facilities and very helpful staff - thanks Trish! - Convenient location, large rooms and friendly helpful staff.
- Erin (7/5): Great location, comfortable, spacious room, good value for money - Great location, the pillows were amazing comfy and very spacious rooms. No bowls or forks in the room that was inconvenient and the toilet wasn’t cleaned very well.
- Terrence (6/5): -
- Tan (8/5): - Communication on arrival had to ring & wait
- Mel (1/5): -
- Lynne (3/5): Unsettling - Not much It was in poor condition
The door locks were broken on main door and balconies
I did not feel safe
I emailed but have not received an answer
- Rebekah (1/5): Feral!! - Absolutely disgusting!! Manager’s attitudes is as dirty as the cockroaches crawling around and on the beds LOL !!
- nicole (4/5): - The staff are always lovely on the phone I’ve been here before in a different room and it was good but this time the room was right over the road so it was super loud from 5am, the vibrations from the road gave me motion sickness and the room wasn’t clean. I had to pick up rubbish off the floor and clean the toilet myself when I arrived. Also there was what sounded like something being dragged through the parking area repeatedly from early hours of the morning.
- Raelea (8/5): Overall it was ok - Location was good.
Room was nice and bed comfy. After hours check in could be improved.
- Kerri-Anne (10/5): - Great location. Central to everything.
- Desley (8/5): Centrally located property - The location was great
- susanto (1/5): -
- Andrew (1/5): Filthy - The floor and bathroom was very dirty Needed to be cleaned before we arrived. Floors were disgusting and the sink in the bathroom was dirty.
- Kerri (7/5): -
- Cremin (8/5): -
- Scott (10/5): - Very comfortable and quiet stay. The staff were lovely and the location was perfect — close to everything we needed
- Michael M (4/5): - Noisy inconsiderate guests .
No sleep as cars outside windows all hours coming and going.
- Nicola (10/5): -
- Michael (8/5): overall it was a good stay. just what we needed for the night. - the staff were extremely friendly - facilities good.
- Yves (4/5): - The heavy metal concert next door kept us up until midnight. Not cool!
- Wendy (1/5): Very disappointing - The location was good and as expected The building structure was very run down, dirty, untidy and basically falling apart. I realise that there has been flooding in Lismore and that the downtown area got badly damaged, but that was 3 years ago and this motel has not been repaired properly and yet is charging high room prices. If there had been any other accommodation available in town we would not have stayed here.
- Christine (4/5): - Far too expensive for this accommodation. Air conditioning was not working properly.
- Ryan (10/5): -
- Ann (7/5): -
- pettrina (10/5): -
- Mohammed (8/5): - It would have been better to have carpet on the floor instead of tiles, especially in winter.
- Roxane (9/5): -
- Allison (7/5): -
- Christine (7/5): - The property was very clean and the bed was comfortable..very close to where we wanted to be.
- Sarah (9/5): Good - How close the shops were The showers were loud and you could hear others going
- Alexander (8/5): Comfortable and affordable - Spacious and good location Dirty room, needed to wipe down the table surfaces and vacuum the floors. I understand that the cleaners were understaffed. The cleaners seemed very helpful but overworked
- Kyra (3/5): Poor - The room was very dirty, hadn’t even been vacuumed.
- Nicholas (6/5): Very clean bed was comfortable handy to town - Handy location room was clean and well laid out No outdoor area to sit - the hotel next door was very loud and finally stopped it music at 11pm
No complimentary milk
- Pecala (10/5): Exceptional - Mattress was so comfortable. The room was spacious. The fridge was to small
- Krysten (8/5): Great for visiting and baseball, great location, close to everything you need. - The location to the baseball fields, shops and everything we needed. Had a washer and dryer. Very dated. The rooms had been cleaned but it could do with a deep clean. Quite expensive for what you got
- Pecala (10/5): Exceptional - I liked that it was close to shops and pubs. The bed was so comfortable. Next time when we travel to Lismore would be staying here again for sure. The fridge was too small
- Peter (4/5): - The mattress was horrible woke with a sore back every morning. There was dust and fluff under the beds that looked like it had been there for months.
- Denise (10/5): Amazing staff and great location - Trish was super helpful and full of knowledge. She went out of her way to look after me and make sure I could find my way around, I was comfortable and had everything I need. The location was perfect as it's right across the road from the transit centre so I was able to catch buses to my destination easily.
- Brett (8/5): Good location , very clean room - Good location , very clean room
- Antonio (7/5): Good - The shower The aircon, the bed, the TV, and it look so untidy and not welcoming
- Margaret (7/5): Satisfied - Convenience to town. Our room was abit dark. Bathroom needed updating
- Sherri (8/5): A clean beautiful place to stay - It was very clean and well set out. The king size bed was comfortable It was beside a pub and loud music till 11pm it was lovely after the pub closed
- Luke (3/5): Poor -
- Nick (4/5): Disappointing - Common area hallway had garbage left outside rooms and mud on floor for four days without collecting. The guests smoked cigarettes and the smoke came into my room at night.
- Simon-watterson (10/5): Exceptional - It was amazing stay here all of the above great
- timmR1774JS (2/5): Customer beware - First hard task was checking in, took quite a while on the phone, the man couldn't even tell us where to find out room over the phone so had to walk around for 5 minutes searching. Finally found our room, the floor has black sticky marks all over it, empty water bottles on the floor, toilet was dirty, I dared to look under the bed 🫣 found dead cockroaches, a cigarette butt, cd and more rubbish. Called them back straight away, got a lady who put me on hold. Came back and said that she could call the cleaner but she's half an hour drive away, that she could come in and HELP me clean. Absolute joke. I asked for another room instead, was refused. Paid $320 for this room and I will never ever be back, please be aware this is not a family friendly motel. A disappointment to the comfort inn chain.
- Stacey (8/5): - Perfect the beds are huge
- Umair (7/5): Good -
- Rini (8/5): - ❤️
- Natalie (9/5): Superb - Location
- Nina (7/5): Good - Decent for a motel
- Kleio (5/5): Good location, not the nicest - Good location and they took a last minute booking which was needed for us. It was clean-ish. There was people cooking food in the rooms a few doors down. It felt a bit dodgy. But overall passable
- Kristy (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Neville (8/5): Very good - Great location for our needs Didn't like checking in over the phone having to give card details with other people waiting to check in behind you.
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (7/5): Good - Access and parking were perfect, comfort of room was quite good. Pricing was good also, happy to stay there again. Having the garbage emptied at 3am on a Saturday morning was far from ideal, I think timing needs to be visited with the business that provides this service.
- Paul (7/5): Clean and functional - perfect for tradies - Clean and functional. Perfect as a clean sleep and leave motel but if you are looking for even a slightly romantic getaway DON"T even bother. Hot water tap in shower fell off. Not the first time and cleaners would have noticed but ratrher than fixing the problem, just put it back on the spindle and say nothing. Don't get m,e wrong - very clean and functional but better suited to tradies transiting rather than a destination.
- Dane (8/5): Very good -
- Kevin (1/5): Bad -
- Courtney (2/5): Read ur fine print - I booked the room and paid for it and when i arrived and called to remotely check in they slapped with with a security bond to the same total of the room and refused me entry until i drove around for 30 minutes looking for a combank to deposit the bond .. after that and me explaining i had just drove and needed to sleep they continued to make me.hold for a further 25 minutes until they took the money and the bond i finally got the key .... the room was very basic and the mini fridge was defrosted and water under it ... the apprent king bed was two singles pushed together to which separated and i fell through the two beds the shower was cold after running it for 20 minutes i was frustrated the front desk lady refused to acknowledge my concerns and sent me off with chocolates after i requested a refund
- Rebecca (6/5): Lismore - It was convenient location and catered well to a family, it is older and some of the beds were not that clean
- Paul (6/5): Booked last minute, easy after hours check in process - Location is great Our room was mostly clean, kitchen a little dirty
- Helen (8/5): Very good -
- Joan (3/5): Disappointing. - The location was good but the overall The room stay was poor value for money. The room lacked a window, no basic amenties like plates, bowls, cutlery for 2, no hairdryer. Poor quality furniture.
- Elise (8/5): Very good -
- Ronald (9/5): Just great -
- Beth (6/5): Pleasant -
- David (9/5): Very well laid out comfortable - Location to transit centre , shopping facilities and food outlets Wouldn’t say didn’t like , but bed covering was stained as was the mattress cover , think the reception could be manned a bit longer after hrs , tried calling number on the door , for some reason call would not go through
- Robert (6/5): - Even though the unit has been recently been refurbished,it was very basic. There was no hair dryer, microwave, toaster or coffee maker. There were no towel rails in the bathroom.
Reception was closed from midday. Entry was negotiated over the phone.
It certainly was not worth the money.
- Kent (8/5): Very good -
- Jessica (9/5): Superb -
- Cheryl (8/5): We had a lovely stay. It’s been 3 yrs since the flood and the motel is gradually getting back to normal, we were very gl - It was clean, close to everything The chairs around the table were not strong enough to sit on they were split. There was no where to hang your towels in the bathroom and the soap’s dispenser was so high you can’t reach it.
- Ishan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (4/5): Pest control is needed badly - Not a lot The roaches
- Whitehouse (8/5): Very good -
- Dening (7/5): Good -
