Guest Reviews
- Rebecca (10/5): - Great value for the price. Property is old but clean and maintained. There's a lor of streetlight, so bring eye shades. Everything is quite basic, which is what you expect at that pricepoint. Extremely helpful and friendly staff.
- Braden (10/5): - The host at the front desk was next level hospitable- even making dinner for my large family. I’ve never experienced anything like it all our world travel.
- James (8/5): GREAT STAY. Don’t be put off by the star rating. - Great location and really good space for me my partner and 4 young children. Although dated the room and hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Toki was very helpful in making our stay straight forward. We have saved this location and will definitely stay at the atlas hostel again.
- Zahra (4/5): - Stayed there for 2 nights!
- barbara (10/5): - Room was quite functional but if you’re looking for pristine living conditions, you will be disappointed The hostel was very close to the transportation lines and the sightseeing busses, the check in was quite easy and our luggage was transported from the check in place to our hostel. It was great. We weren’t sure what we would be getting when we booked a hostel, not a hotel. The location was near small shops and food vendors. Lots of pleasant surprises I would book there again
- michelle (10/5): - The property is for families wanting to really see London. It’s
Not a cozy place to hangout. It’s exactly what it states, the customer service is good, if you need anything they will adress it and assist you. Just note the guest desk isn’t at same location. Luckily the housekeeping staff was kind to show us the way. Other than that! For the price, location it’s near Paddington square to catch train and very nearby most of the sights just note it’s a lot of walking so the train is a great asset. Everyone is pleasant and very nice! For our family of 6 it was a great place for us. Please note the space is limited but that’s only because our original room was being renovated. Which is out of our control and the property. But truly worked out for us. If handicap, or traveling with an elderly parent etc. ask for a room on 1st floor or main building. Peaceful and worked for our needs.
- Kris (10/5): - Fantastic location! Good price. Room a little small, but with a cute bathroom inside! Shower was nice & hot. Lovely touches: tea, coffee, sugar, plates, cups, utensils, adaptor plug, fridge & microwave. Very clean sheets & towels! The entrance area smelled a little bit like old/stale cigarettes, but not inside room 4. Would highly recommend!
- NICULAE (4/5): - Poor
- Claire (8/5): - Very friendly & attentive. Location excellent, very convenient. Facilities tired but good value.
- AGNES (2/5): - Location is excellent, close to Paddington station, but property needs a lot of work; room was very small, bed small and uncomfortable, bathroom without water during morning hours. This location looks more for hostel.
- Jared (4/5): Get what you pay for - Decent value compared to other nearby hotels, as the location is great (other than the 5min walk to reception) though the room wasn't very good. The shower had varied pressure that just stopped once mid-use and there was a strong smell from the bathroom. It didn't seem like anything was leaking directly into the bathroom but still was unpleasant.
- Sandeep (2/5): - 0 out of 10
- Kevin (8/5): - Great for the price easy and convenient to the west end
- Christopher (8/5): - As advertised. Small clean rooms. Excellent location. Staff easily addressed any problems. Will definitely stay here again. No elevator or front desk at hotel but sister hotel deals with any problems or requests. Nice stay.
- ANTONIO MARCOS GERALDI (6/5): - Too small
- Paola (8/5): - Buena ubicación
- DayTrip44869065438 (6/5): Redirected to a different hotel on arrival - We booked to stay here but a sign on the door told us to go to the nearby Beverley House Hotel instead. Noticed there was a building site close to this property but otherwise the location looked quiet and tidy, close to Paddington Station. Can't say any more as we ultimately didn't get to stay here.
- Maria (6/5): - Staff was very kind and friendly. The property was not too clean, small to cigarette and bathroom was too small.
- Junior (10/5): - Fantastic stay
Fantastic staff
Fantastic vibe
- Geoffrey (8/5): Great location - The staff here was top notch. They were all very helpful and friendly. Taking into consideration that this building is fairly old, the rooms were decent. Beds were alright, not the most comfortable, the pillows were a bit flat but the price was right for 4 adults. We felt safe and the room was clean. The location was excellent and very convenient, a short walk to Paddington Station.
- Maria (10/5): - As a woman alone on my own and as I arrived at the hotel where the check ins are being made, I've met a very nice woman named Litza the owner who offered me a nice cup of coffee and offered me some traditional sweets she had from her country, baklava. Then I went to my room which everything was perfect and clean. All the staff was very helpful. During my stay I had an issue one night, I had severe headache and I was out of paracetamol amd every pharmacy and shop was closed at that time nearby, even if I didn't want to bother it was very painful so i went to the reception I called Litsa who helped my by providing me with some paracetamol and she sat with me there offering tea until I was better and went to sleep.
I had an excellent time and of course, I will be back in the future. The owner was, above all a human!
- IOANNIS (10/5): - Easy Check-in. Helpful staff, always there for you to help. Many restaurants nearby and many transport links are available. Right across Hyde Park, some minutes away from Oxford Street and less than about two minutes away from the Paddington station where my train got me and took me back to the airport. The location is very convenient and the kind owner is always there to offer sightseeing advice as well as a hot cup of tea. As for the rooms, they were clean and quiet. The only bad part was that a small park/garden which is exactly in front of the place was closed for gardening so I couldn't have a break there but other than that, because of their down to earth attitude whenever I will be back I will be choosing them and If they are fully booked I'll still be paying a visit to Mrs Litsa, the lovely owner.
- Parvez (10/5): - Very kind staff and we have to go to the Beverley house hotel to do the check-in but staff came along with us and showed the hotel and room. Very safe and quite place. Happy with the overall service
- Melia (2/5): - Truly the most awful experience. please please please do not book, we ended up having to find another hostel after being laughed at for feeling unsafe. the owner or whoever runs this place is the least comforting and helpful person. the energy in the place is creepy and scary. and we experienced awful awful awful things while being there for only a few hours. this place should not be considered a hostel but gives off the vibes of kidnapping and that we were being watched. do not stay
- Stephen (8/5): - Helpful and friendly staff; very convenient; pretty basic, but clean, comfortable, and excellent value for the money. I will certainly go there again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): No frills place to stay for a night or two. - Great location, a few minutes from Paddington Station. Not a luxury hotel by any means, but good, clean and safe place to spend the night when visiting London. There was a mix-up with our reservation and we spent our first night in the "penthouse" (up 82 steps with suitcases!). The second night they moved us to a much nicer room. Bathrooms are tiny, but clean. Staff was very friendly. Check your email for instructions to check in, it's at a location around the corner, not at the hotel. But only a 3 min walk.
- Adam (6/5): Atlàs studios - Very basic room, a tiny toilet/shower cubicle if you can call it that...the decor very old and needs a good refurbishment, along with the carpet on the stairs very old and shabby, i know people say you get what you pay for in london, but i have stayed at a lot better hotels in london for the same price.
- Mrs.Nidhi (8/5): - Quite atmosphere,walkable restaurant, good rooms but no lift.
- Brett (8/5): - I needed a room for 1 night before my Heathrow flight and this hotel provided a very good affordable option. It's in a perfect location with a short walk to Hyde Park and to the Elizabeth Line (at Paddington station) which takes you straight to Heathrow Airport. Check in is actually around the corner at another little hotel but it was very easy and Litsa was great, she emailed me with check-in instructions and then offered me coffee and biscuits when I arrived. The room was very basic but the bathroom looked fairly new and while I only had a bunk bed the room was warm and I slept very well so I have no complaints. Just be aware there is no lift so I had to take my luggage up to the 3rd floor so this will obviously not appeal to everyone.
- jamesdX3623SN (10/5): Nice room and lovely staff!! - We first checked in with Mohammed who greeted us with a smile and made sure to make us feel welcome with lots of sweets and lollipops! He made sure to let us know that we were welcome to come for some tea and biscuits whenever we wanted! Top bloke. The room was pretty nice with a surprising amount of amenities that we weren’t expecting (fridge, tv and a nice modern shower). On the way out we bumped into Toqil too and he was a very friendly guy also. He offered to take our keys so we didn’t have to walk back to reception to drop them off which was nice.
The room was nicer than we were expecting for the cheap price and both the members of staff we met were a testament to their profession!!
We would love to come again. :)
- Verified traveler (8/5): Not like the photos but would stay if needed. - Not like the photos! But was an ok stay!
We had the quadruple room, was clean and welcoming.
The only issue top bunk mattress needs reneweing you feel ALL the springs! Bunk beds really squeaky too.
The bathroom is not in the room its a seperate room, mrs didnt feel safe due to other rooms around our rooms.
Would stay here if needed too and for the price it wasnt horrific. But the photos aint what you get.
Shower was terrific tho!
- G4rywalker (10/5): Great value for money. Exceeded what we expected. Fantastic base for our family of 6 to explore London - I’ve seen some negative reviews about this place and clearly people have no understand of a budget hotel. Complaining about this hotel would be like buying a Ford Focus and then moaning about how it’s not a nice or fast as a Porsche.
From the moment we checked in (yes a 2 min walk around the corner to another building but I don’t see how this can be a problem) the owners were more than friendly and extremely helpful.
The room was exactly what we expected and was perfect for 2 adults and 4 children to crash in every evening after a long days sightseeing and exploring.
You will not get a better location for Paddington Train and Tube stations.
Can’t wait to plan out next visit.
- Pauline (2/5): - The whole place needs updating. Kitchen dirty. Only Cup had huge chip on rim. Worse thing was freezing on night I stayed and the heating stopped working during night. Couldn’t sleep due to cold then no hot water in morning so couldn’t shower. Tried to email the address given but said it didn’t exist. Had to go to railway station early to get warm. Very disappointing.
- DarrenP1445 (4/5): Last resort after Hotels.com messed up my original booking - After hotels.com messed up my booking I had to find a nearby and not too expensive hotel nearby - this was probably the only one in walking distance under £200 - looked to be in a nice area . On arriving had to go to another location to get the key - the room was a family room but it was basically a hostel I assume for cheap travelling - biggest complaint was the bedding stunk of weed. Would not recommend if you were travelling on business or with young family or as a couple - ok for maybe stags or student travellers - would say the location is v good - no tv no wifi
- 885jackiee (10/5): Great location - The hotel is in a great location in London. Near a tube station and bus stops for travelling quickly into the west end and other attractions. In a square so quiet outside at night. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Great value for money.
- Verified traveler (6/5): You get what you pay for - Family of 4, traveling with 2 young kids. We needed a place to stay and booked this place the day we needed it. Not the best choice and looked a bit run down.
Pros:
Decently priced
Good location
Trash emptied on daily basis.
Cons:
Bathroom water tank ran noisily 24/7
Weird bathroom tub setup for showers
Part of bathroom ceiling was falling down
- Mary (8/5): - Having to check in and out at Beverley House was inconvenient. A couple of tea or coffee bags and milk at the studio would have been appreciated after a long journey. Staff were helpful.
- William (10/5): Great place, really comfortable - Paddington had issues and all trains canceled. I needed a place to stay as
I wouldn't be too happy staying in Paddington. I have stayed here before, its got everything you need, clean and comfortable and great service.
- Rita (8/5): - The area was very central however, Atlas studios need to upgrade the property. No aircondition , tv etc.
- Anja (8/5): - We had a great time!😊
- FREDERIK (10/5): Super-friendly! - A small studio, but we chose the lower price range and therefore didn't expect any luxury. The lack of space was more than outweighed by the extremely friendly Litsa and her staff. Everything was clean, and the area calm and convenient. A great stay!
- Henry (10/5): - It was affordable.
- Henry (8/5): - I liked the location.
- Stratton_1234 (10/5): Great hosts and location - Myself and a friend visited London for my 21st birthday and the hosts made it very special! Upon arrival, LItsa and her husband bought me a birthday cake, a card and a bottle of prosecco! Our check out time was extended which was great as we had more time to wonder around London whilst leaving our luggage there.
The location is excellent! A 2 minute walk from Paddington station and only 5 minutes to Hyde Park. Wifi was also very speedy. Thank you for our stay, we will definetly be back again!
- Al (10/5): - Litsa is a very friendly, efficient and responsive staff.
Hostel location is excellent, near underground tube station and a inter-city train station.
Room is a bit too small too cramp though.
- 824csillan (4/5): London holiday - The Atlas studio was definitely not like on the pictures. The room was small, uncomfortable, dirty. The room very small for 4 persons, and we found two different kind of bugs in the room and the bed. The bathroom and toilet not cleaned properly, bad smell in the bath and the room. The beds are horrible. The location is good and the staff friendly, but we will never return. It was a nightmare our stay in this hotel with two kids in this conditions.
- spaingal4ever (4/5): So-So - Location is really good. I normally only write good reviews but just wanted to write this one so you wouldn’t be as surprised as I was! The room couldn’t be any smaller!! The bathroom was alright, light went off and had to find a switch to “restart” it. The heater is an old fashioned one that radiates heat.
I am NOT picky or high maintenance but... this room was dirty! Dust bunnies EVERYWHERE. Humidity had water running inside the window. This is really a hostel, don’t be confused. The bed was comfortable although small.
Breafast was good.
- 435georgee (10/5): Fantastic location - Good Value - We visited London last week with 17 of our students! What an experience it was! It wouldnt have been the same without Atlas studio rooms!
First of all the location is perfect! Next to shops - supermarkets - restaurants open till very late. Paddington tube station is a 2 min walk and also is full of shops and cafes!
The area is safe and beautiful! Hyde Park is seconds away on foot also!
David, Mrs LItsa and Mr Pantelis were super friendly we couldn’t have asked for better service! Not only did they extend their breakfast times for us - they would also bring extras for my students to their rooms and treat them with cakes and sweets frequently.
They also threw in a fairwell brunch on our last day! That kind of service you don’t get every day! David was always happy to give us advice about what to do in London and organise tours for us! Rooms and toilets were clean and beds were comfortable! WiFi was great also!
Thank you for a great time! We are definitely coming back!
- Czarina (4/5): Too bad for an amazing area. - Super friendly host and a wonderful location but the state of the hotel including the entrance into it was full of recycling dumped high. The room was tiny, dusty, broken furniture, disgusting bathroom and the beds were jammed together to fit in as much as possible. Definitely only a place to sleep at the very end of the day. Comfortable beds.
- George (8/5): - Very comfortable
- Alphia (10/5): Best non family hospitality in London - Our stay was amazing. Litsa and her family were very friendly, kind, caring and helpful, she's a darling. They go all out to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. They immediately try to fix any issue that may arise to ensure your stay is a memorable one.
- Shazia (10/5): - Upon arrival we were greeted by Litsa - lovely lady, warm and welcoming. The location is excellent close to shops, restaurants and tube/ train station.
The accommodation served its purpose, a pleasant place to sleep and rest, with being in the heart of the capital that was all that was required.
I would definitely come here again to stay on our next visit to the capital.
- GidFlorence (2/5): Dirty, stink and unsanitary conditions! Horrible! - Avoid this place! Highly NOT recommended!
Towels are not clean, with black and gray spots. Everything are dirty, balls of somebody's hairs are everywhere. Very stink place. Bed linens are torn and dirty.
The stay in this apartment was like nightmare for me and for my family. I couldn't wait to leave this disgusting hotel! Thanks God we are already far away from this ugly place.
- Bowei (10/5): Brilliant place! - Very nice trip! Great location and excellent service! Highly recommended!
- Karyn (8/5): Good Value - Good stay. Tight space, cozy for family of 4 (all adult sized!). Clean, friendly staff, convenient location 3 minutes walk from Paddington Station. Lots of good places to eat locally.
- Mary-Lou (8/5): Great overnight in Paddington - Atlas was in a fantastic position for our overnight stay. Close to Paddington station for access to and from the airport and a quiet square with a small balcony and green space views. Room was just what we needed for overnight and bed was really comfortable. Lista was lovely when we arrived and offered us a cup of tea and we even got early access to the room which was great. Lots of cafes and restaurants in very close proximity
- LondonSnorkeller (8/5): Amazing location, good value - A simple hotel in a fantastic location with a very friendly owner. You are right in central London but on a peaceful square - a great place to stay if you want to save pennies while seeing all the sights
- Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent location, stayed at Beverley House Hotel - When we arrived at Atlas Studios, we were informed that there was an issue with our room but they have arranged for us to stay at Beverley House Hotel, which was about a block away. The location is excellent. The train and bus are only a few minutes walk away and we felt safe walking in the area late at night.
The following is for Beverley House Hotel - The room was very small, no room to really open our suitcases. We had a full or queen bed and a bunk bed. The space between top and bottom bunk beds are minimal, cannot sit straight up on the bottom bunk. Cleanliness was ok. Breakfast was basic but ok - toasts, egg, cereal, yogurt, coffee, orange juice. On the day of checkout, they were able to hold our luggage in the morning while we went to explore a little more.
- Roadsidephotographer (10/5): A comfy stay in a clean and roomy hotel. Good location. - Location is great, very close to stations and parks. Owner is very friendly, and welcomed us with hot tea and biscuits. Room is big and with a lot of facilities. You have to walk up a number of floors, a bit difficult for those with heavy lugguages. Suggested to have some help to move lugguges up the floor or add a pulley system to facilitate hanging lugguages to higher floors.
- Michelle (8/5): Great value! - Litza and the staff at Atlas were so kind and welcoming. Atlas is a great value - the rooms are basic but spotless, the location is amazing, and the service is accommodating.
- Lyn (8/5): - .Location is good, quiet, accesible to metro. But not satisfied w/ the cleanliness of kitchen utaensils, should better provide disposables like cups,,plates, spoon n fork.
- Jann4897 (8/5): Good experience - Great location, central, near underground, room small but great to be able to fit a large group in one room. Staff friendly, very affordable, near great food outlets, near shops and off licenses, clean area
- youssra (2/5): Awful experience - Awful experience, they the owners lie and give you the room they want not what you have booked. The pictures look nothing like the rooms. I had high expectations and they seemed nice at first but they can't handle any feedback.
- _mrwyk (2/5): Really poor experience in London. - Don't go if you wish to spend your travel in a small, cramp and dirty place.
The overall cleanness of the room is awful with visible dust and stain all over the blanket and carpet. Floor and the towel provided feels unclean and even smelly in the beginning. Room itself is very basic. No workable internet and TV. The floor is uneven, so is the bed. And we were given a tiny room with no space for a large luggage. Kitchenette is dirty and felt uncleaned since last guests. So is the toilet. I even found a bottle of piss under the sink.
Most importantly, the host will downgrade your room if they have a smaller one. I booked a double bed studio in the first place, but the host gave us a tiny single room that looked completely different from the pictures on their website. The hosts insists she was right when we asked about the matter. Two days later we were told to change room because someone booked the small room.
Overall, don't book unless you're expecting to have a minimum quality.
- Lee (8/5): Clean, welcoming budget hotel - Good, clean budget hotel in a great location. It's no frills, but that goes with the price. Bathroom, bedding and towels were nice and clean and the couple at reception were very friendly and welcoming. Ideal for a short business stay. Great value for money. I would definitely stay again.
- Michael (8/5): great central location and clean - stayed on a business trip. clean, well maintained and very friendly staff. but a little shabby with wear and tear.
- Jac (8/5): - Nice location bit small though but decent for a few nights
- 55Waterloo (4/5): I don't know what to say - very, very,very basic hotel.No internet, no television ,no breakfast
London is becoming more and more expensive so, conclusion:if you want to spend less the 200 pounds you ¡re going to sleep in a hole. This is just to be kind
Paddington ,is a nice central area reasonably close to the majority of the main amenities that the wonderful town offer
- mkbarker (8/5): Great Hostel in an Even Better Location - I really enjoyed my stay at Atlas Hostel. We stayed in a 4 bedroom private and it was everything we needed. We didn't need a big hostel to meet other people so this place was perfect. Room was pretty small but that is to be expected in any London hostel. Ensuite bathroom was clean and had great water pressure. Bunk beds were a little creaky/loud but that was really my only complaint! A great deal for what you pay and in a great location- 3 minute walk to Paddington Station! Litsa and her husband could not have been more nice and accommodating. Highly recommend!
- petermccombs (10/5): British Summer Time concerts Hyde Park - Spent 3 nights in one of 3 places owner has. Owner extremely helpful and loaned us use of an iron. Continental breakfast included where we stayed also invited to other hotels where we were offered cooked breakfast. We stayed next to the classic hotel Suffolk gardens 15 minutes walk to Hyde Park Room small cleaned daily with very small on suite shower and toilet. Great price for central London stay and would recommend and will book their again
- esther_2211 (8/5): A pleasant stay with a great host - The host (Litsa) was very friendly and hospitable. She texted me when I touched down to check my estimated time of arrival and provided directions, which was very helpful. Key collection was fuss free as Litsa was expecting our arrival.
The bedding was cosy and comfortable, even without air condition - we opened the window to let the cool air in, and a little fan was provided for us. It was within walking distance to Paddington station where we can connect to anywhere in the city. Lots of power outlets in the room for our use. A kettle, oven, TV, clean towels, fridge, handwash, hand towels, hair dryer were all made available in the room.
Litsa also offered us in-house breakfast at GBP4/pax if we wanted but we decided to head out for breakfast. Sussex Fish Bar (good fish & chips place) and Mimo's Cafe (where we had local English breakfast) are just round the corner towards Paddington station.
The room was a little cramp for us as we had 3 big luggages (London was our last leg of our trip), but we managed well ! Note that there is no lift in this property, so be sure to ask for a room on the lower/lowest floors if you have big luggages like us!
- 34assafm (2/5): Make sure you don’t get the room without bathroom - We were a family with 3 children, and we were not told in advanced about the fact that beside the very small room without night lamp, closet or window everything is in shared spaces. The breakfast table, the kitchen and even the shower and toilets. You have no privacy and unless you lock your own room door you have no safety.
The location is great and the owner seem like a nice person but she was not honest enough to tell us this when we booked or mention it in the description of this property, instead she called me on the day we arrived to tell me this.
We had to leave this place immediately to find another place to stay and it made us loose our first day of our vacation in London.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good for just sleep - Friendly counter staff but just that room at the top floor and we are family of 5 with many heavy luggages but no elevator. Have to climb many staircases
- Kathryn (4/5): Not the best place - Was not at all impressed with Atlas studios. We were on the fourth floor, beds were OK, but the room was filthy. Mold on the bathroom walls and ceiling, Raty towels, but at least they were clean. Our room was fairly inexpensive, and the positive things I could say about it is it was dark at night and quiet, and fairly close to the undetground. But, honestly we would not stay at this hotel ever again.
- Saatchi (8/5): Great hostel close to Paddington - 3 adults, 1 child in a bunk room. The room was very clean & comfortable although the bunks were metal & creaked a little. The 6 year old child slept in a top bunk for the first time as enclosed sides. Need to take your own toiletries. The owners & staff were wonderful & very nice... nothing was too much for them to help.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The owners are very pleasant and the location is great.
- Chris (8/5): Great Location - It’s a hostel, you get what you expect. The woman running the place is very nice and accommodating.
- amy (6/5): Nice location - Nice location, near to Paddington station. The room was a bit small and limited space. Overall is okay and don't mind to stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Love It - Enjoyed very much n friendly staff super helpful. Definitely will come back again. Highly recommended
- Geoffrey (8/5): Litsa,a - Litsa was a lovely host, very warm and welcoming. We enjoyed 4 wonderful days.
The price was very good for that area..
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great location and good access to the rest of London and England. Overall a good choice for those looking for inexpensive lodgings and value for their money.
- Aaron (10/5): Excellent place to stay in London! - It was a very enjoyable and unforgettable stay. All the staffs and owner were very friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. The location was very convenient to the Metro (Tube) and was surrounded by restaurants and shops. The area was also very safe and quiet. The room was clean and spacious for 2 person. The owner fulfilled our needs when we requested a hot water kettle and new towels and most importantly made us feel like home throughout our trip. Definitely recommend this to future visitors and we would surely stay again.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Greeks are good people. - Stay good except no phone messages given by hotel owners?? Just one message when someone called to locate us was NOT to forwarded to us. It took us all day to use call box to find if friends were looking for us-no cell phones on us. Thumbs down on that.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Fair price, but too small - The cheapest price we found on this particular location. But there are too many beds in the room. Not much space. The bathroom is so small that you have no place to stand.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Lovely couple runs this hotel - The hotel is in a great location. Easy access to the tube and gardens, and the Marble arch. Litsa and her husband were so wonderful, and offered us coffee and cookies that they made themselves. They were also so kind as to let us stow our luggage before check-in and after check-out to allow us to see the city more. They were going through some renovations when we stayed which affected the condition a little but there was no noise or dust or inconvenience.
- ana (8/5): Very nice hotel close to train and tube station - We had a very comfortable room for two persons with a little fridge and microwave oven. It also had some plates and silverware. It takes about three minutes to walk to the train station, from there you can go anywhere in London. The lady in charge is very nice and helpful. We had a very nice stay at this hostal.
- Cleo (10/5): Excellent service - Had a wonderful stay here, the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, fantastic service that really enhanced our stay in London. Thank you so much!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The hostel was clean. Contact with staff was very easy, towels and adapter were provided by the owner
- Faridullah (6/5): conventional - Hotel stay was comfortable except the heating in night was too high and no control to reduce it
- Hiu To (8/5): Convenient hotel - The staffs are very friendly. Litsa gave us some drinks and cookies when we arrived and show us around the hostel.
In this hotel, I have choosen to stay in 10beds room, it is quiet comfort, as the roommates are also friendly.
And the most important thing is the hostel is near the Paddington station, which is so convenient!!!
- Denise (2/5): - Absolutely terrible! I booked a single room with a double but upon my arrival they tried to put two people in a single bed. No refund was awarded for two nights we couldn't use!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The staffs were nice and friendly. But the cleanliness was bad and not comfortable.
- Steven (8/5): good value great location - Nice people comfortable bed
- Valerii (10/5): Great hostel near Paddington train station and tub - We are arrived in Heathrow and go via metro to Puddington. Just one line change and we at place. Several minuts from tube station and we meet a nice garden. You can choose Heathrow express, it more comfotable and faster.
We came little early before check-in(I wrote an email what we will be early). Our room was ready and we get in without any delay. Litsa are a hostess in this hostel. She make a tea with coockies for us :-) It was very helpfull after a long flight.
We took a room 8 for two peoples with one double bed.
What we have: affable hostess, keys from room and enterence door, FreeWiFi, shower and toilet in the room, table, stool, little wardrobe, two power socket(even with universal power adapter), hairdryer, five free towels, a lot of toilet paper, TV and FreeWiFi. Room was clean, warm and cozy. And we have even an balcony in this room and 4 pillows! Litsa say us about what we can meet nearby.
During a week when we meets with Lista she asks us "It's all Ok? May be you need something else?". And she offered us coffy and tea for us :-)
At morning we make an check-out and leave a luggage at a hostel till evening.
It was great vacation at great hostel!
P.S.: it was UE water tap there!) You can find several cafe and pubs at same building.
- jpbferrer (8/5): Great location & cheap rates - The staff are friendly, the rates the so affordable even if the room we've chosen has a kitchen & own toilet. The location is very near Underground stations.
- kevin (8/5): - The owners were very nice and friendly.
- SH (6/5): No staircase - This guesthouse/hostel is located near to the Paddington Station (~ 3 mins walk) and is convenient for those who needs to catch the Heathrow Express to the airport or to Kensington Palace, Natural History Museum, Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly, Tower Bridge etc.
However, there is no staircase and you need to drag your luggage along the narrow stairs (~3 feet wide) all the way up to the 3rd/4th floor. We stayed for 3 nights in the double room, but the owner moved us to another guesthouse at the corner on our last night due to overbooking. We are pretty upset (but did not complaint to the owner) about it as we need to need to pack/unpack and again went up the narrow stairs up to the top floor with our luggages. During check out at the other guesthouse, we are asked to pay for the 1 night stay as there seems to be no communication between the guesthouse staff, but it was sorted out promptly.
