• Tina (9/5): Ci ritornerei solo per la vista mare e posizione - Posizione ottima, camera molto carina e pulita, vista mare meravigliosa. La colazione era misera e non efficiente. Poteva essere fatta entro le 10 ma alle 9.30 quando siamo scesi avevano già tolto tutto quindi abbiamo dovuto chiedere.

• Crystal (9/5): Great location! - Fantastic location! We only had a short stay as we needed somewhere between the Malta ferry and Agrigento to break up our travel. The staff were very helpful and even stayed on site for our very late checkin. Beachfront location is perfect! We booked 3 rooms. Oceanview room was lovely, other 2 rooms were fine. Bathrooms were outdated but it was good value for money.

(La ragazza alla reception ci ha fornito 2mini sedioline e un piccolo ombrellone)posteggio inesistente.Non è un hotel bensì un B&B perché di hotel non ha nulla.Camera piccola,interna e un bagno deludente sia come é rifinito,muffe e sporcizia ovunque, che come accessori (solo un dispenser per mani scadente)uno scovolino water sporco. La pulizia lascia molto a desiderare. Una ventola di aspirazione che fa un rumore assordante,camera non insonorizzata(vari rumori del vicino di stanza). Pessima esperienza Non mi é piaciuto nulla.da dimenticare

Personale molto gentile, mettono a disposizione pure ombrelloni e sedioline per poter andare in spiaggia. Ho apprezzato particolarmente che durante la colazione è presente sempre qualcuno dello staff pronto a fare ottimi caffè e cappuccino con la macchina professionale, già inclusi nel prezzo della colazione. Come qualità prezzo sono molto soddisfatta. Torneremo sicuramente!

Però l'hotel con la terrazza sulla pioggia compensa tutto. Solo la colazione potrebbero mettere qualche cosa in più, per il resto va benissimo.

• Curran (7/5): A lovely small 3 star hotel ideal to visit Punta Secco if you want to see “ Inspector Montalbano” house near the sea. Th - The location of the hotel is right on the beach which is beautiful, the picture of the rooms only reflect the rooms over looking the sea. Our room which was modern tastefully decorated clean with a wonderful hot power shower ; it was located down steps with window facing a wall which I suppose reflected the budget price and the fact we only stayed one night. The continental breakfast which was adequate and included 1 American Coffee and decaf available. The host was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The 2 pillows were of poor quality with one extra one if needed. The shower head needed attention. It was clean but calcified. I would recommend they replace plastic cups with proper glasses and better quality juices .

• Tim (8/5): A comfortable one night stay in a great location - The location was brilliant, so close to the beach so able to hear the sea all night long! The time of our visit was at the end of the season so it was quiet. We had a friendly greeting and introduction to our rooms. We were there for one night only and were specifically interested in locations of the Inspector Montalbano series. A 20 minute walk along the beach and quiet roads took us to Punta Secca for the evening and to see what we searched for. To our knowledge there were no overnight staff on the premises

• Quizkid (10/5): My favorite place on our trip - This hotel was my favorite place on our trip. Not because it's luxurious (it isn't), but because of the gorgeous beach location. The town is famous for being one of the locations where the popular "Inspector Montalbano" TV series is filmed. You need a car to get here. The hotel is right on the beach. The manager, Orazio, is very friendly and helpful. We had a beach-facing room with a lovely balcony where we could just sit and enjoy the view (and dry our laundry). We were there in May, which was apparently the off-season, so the water was a little chilly, but still swimmable. We were almost the only guests at the hotel, and there was hardly anyone on the beach. The hotel gave us beach chairs, but bring your own beach towel. It's a windy place, and we enjoyed watching the kite surfers do amazing acrobatics out in the water. The hotel breakfast was good, and we sat in a lovely patio next to the beach. Clearly, this place gets a lot more crowded in the summer, since there were plenty more tables in the breakfast area. For dinner, we drove a couple of kilometers into town and had two of the best dinners of our entire trip at Enzo al Mare. This hotel was the most relaxing place we stayed on our 5-week trip, and one of our favorites.

• Carmelo (8/5): Bello B&B sul mare....!!! - Facile da raggiungere e direttamente su un mare SPLENDIDO...!!! A parte qualche piccolo inconveniente, subito risolto dal Personale, per il resto tutto come lo immaginavamo. RELAX. Personale attento e camere sempre molto pulite e silenziose. Confortevoli anche le camere senza vista mare. Abbiamo trascorso 14 giorni bellissimi e che speriamo di riuscire a ripetere il prima possibile, anche se la distanza da dove viviamo è notevole (Modena). Un Caloroso saluto a tutto lo Staff. Ci hanno dato una camera piccola con vista sulla strada e casa di fronte. prezzo alto per la bassa stagione Posizione buona fronte spiaggia ma niente di più Personale non qualificato: hanno litigato durante la colazione sui turni da fare e siamo in bassa stagione! Non disponibili a discutere e proporre : potevano tranquillamente darci la camerca con vista mare ma hanno chiesto 22 euro aggiuntive. Non professionali.
• Marie-Françoise (8/5): Agréable hôtel au bord de l'eau - Agréable hôtel au bord d'une plage de sable. La première chambre proposée était au sous-sol et déplaisante. On nous en a donné une autre plus lumineuse et avec balcon. Le buffet du petit déjeuner était moyen. Pas de wi-fi dans les chambres et une connexion insuffisante dans les espaces communs.
• vinxonline (8/5): One step from the beach - This little tiny hotel is a little bit more than a B&B with very helpful staff at your disposal, confortable rooms with all the basics available (TV, air conditioning, large shower) but the most interesting things are the LOCATION (10 meters, yes 10 meters, from the beach) with a private hotel shower right next to the parking and hotel entrance. Given this, it's just perfect to stay 1-2 nights and enjoy the checkout day until the evening being possible to quickly shower sand away before getting in the car. I strongly suggest for families: kids are just astonished by the location and possibility to stay out the entire day.
• LisaFitzgerald16 (10/5): Amazing location! - Clean and friendly little place right on the beautiful beach.You do need to be prepared to walk along the beach into town to get anything to eat or have a car as there is nothing near the hotel. Breakfast is served in an open front area but as it poured with rain when we were there we didn't get the benefit of it. Also, as you are technically outside, smoking is allowed here so we ate breakfast with two Italians chain smoking throughout which was a bit off. Staff are friendly and helpful but there is no bar or facilities at all.

The hotel: the property is a bit old and somewhat "botched"; our room was in a sort of basement with a French door that led on a low wall and (at the top of it) to the street; between the door and the little wall there was a small table with a chair, just in front of the air conditioning unit (!); the room was very humid, so that in one wall there were obvious signs of saltpetre and crumbled plaster. Weak and intermittent WiFi in the breakfast area only. The beach: the hotel overlooks a public beach and, alas, countless cars parked almost on the beach itself; at the beginning of the beach there were two small snack bars which pumped up music constantly; beautiful sea, but without distinctive notes. Caucana: the hotel area is literally besieged by cars, so moving (either by car or by scooter or by bike or on foot) is not easy; the many roads that create a giant chessboard are almost devoid of sidewalks; traffic is totally chaotic and signage is almost the same. In a nutshell, the only positive note is the staff's attention, cooperation and kindness, Marzia's above all.
