• Carmen (2/5): Dirty, noisy and unkept - Great location, close to cafes and town centre. Very dirty and unclean. Curtains were filthy, power switches filthy. Coffee cups in drawers had lipstick marks on them. Very thin bath towels. Ironing board in cupboard with no cover and in dire need of new microwave. Overall, in desperate need of a good clean, paint and overhaul. Also was very noisy. Workers leaving in groups at 0500 in the morning, talking loudly, starting cars. Also, to top it off there were no bedside power points at all. I have a cpap machine and could not plug it in. We stayed in the pet friendly room and got charged an extra $80 for our 2 small cavaliers. We are currently staying in a more in Mackay which is $100 cheaper, but 100 times better. Worse motel I've ever stayed in.

• Peter (4/5): Would go to Gladstone again, but would not stay in this motel. - Hot showers. The room was not like the pictures you see. The room we had was in the middle of a renovation. Bed was so uncomfortable and needs replacing. Mould on the ceilings and behind the bed.
• Ross (6/5): Average Stay In Gladstone - It was reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. The location was good for us. The staff struggled we the use of the English language and were never at the Reception during the stated opening hours. They had to be rung when we wanted to check in and out and if we needed something. The Reception also had a strong odour from cooking which was very unpleasant.

• brett (1/5): Diss appointment in both Booking and the accommodation for lack of communication - Went to find my booking confirmation via Booking and there was nothing there, as I had booked a while back I couldn’t even remember where I had booked. There was nothing on my Booking portal saying I had a booking so I made other arrangements. Then last night I get a no show email and was paid full rate. No phone call no email nothing telling me my stay was on the day, and no way of tracking my stay.

• Sarsha (7/5): - Customer service was good My request was not answered for early check in, so arrived and nope come back at 2pm after cleaning, extra fee for my sausage dog which was not listed when booked and have never paid before at this accomodation. Payed the extra $40 to walk into the room with fluff and dust all over the floor.( NO WHERE NEAR CLEAN, PLUS NOW MY EXTRA $40 TO CLEAN ROOM) No antenna cord for TV so no connection. Will not be staying at this property again. Receptionist car parked in my car park until reception closed, had to inpack from front of driveway.

• Sherratt (1/5): Unhygienic - Nothing. But was glad i received a refund. The place was unhygienic! Im pregnant and walked into the room. Stains all over the bed & fridge. Floor wasnt even clean. Staff tried to charge an extra $300 for having a dog after i even paid for our accomodation and notified staff we had a dog with us when made booking. Staff did offer another room but the bathroom door didnt close. I didnt feel it was safe for me with cleanliness of the place. Staff did however refund my money with no hassle which i was very greatful for. Location was right in the heart of town. If your wanting a clean room to stay in i would not recommend this place.

• Melissa (4/5): Dirty, avoid. - Location was very central, pet friendly (dogs only) The room was dirty, food splashed on walls, bench tops, kettle, toaster, microwave and floor. Cutlery and cups had not been washed, there was dish soap but no dish cloth or tea towel. Floor hadn't been mopped, as our feet were black. Fridge was rusted, seels broken, and was filthy. Photos are deceptive and for the price we will not stay again. MAY I SUGGEST TO THE MANAGER, HIRE PEOPLE WHO CAN CLEAN CORRECTLY, BECAUSE YOUR STANDARDS ARE PITIFUL.

Was unable to discuss these issues as office had shut and I left before it opened. Bathroom sink flickmixer tap loose and falling off. Walls dirty. Curtains hanging off curtain rod as broken hanging rings.

• Manjit (3/5): Ain't returning to this dump. - The reception staff was a very sad person. No enthusiasm for the job, no smiles. He didn't give me the WIFI password. I could not access the free-to-air TV. The room had plates and cups but no forks/spoons.
• Darren (2/5): - Central location. Have you ever had a shower while sitting on a toilet? Coz, it was raining and the roof leaked into the ceiling and water was raining down inside the bathroom. Pillows were very thin and made it hard to sleep. Toaster tripped out as soon as it was used. Had to go to the office to tell them to reset the fuse.

• Singh (10/5): - I loved the ambience of room it was so good one thing that amazed me was that the room had bathtub in a very reasonable price andl it is located at the perfect location where mostly everything is at walking distance which makes easy to access to anything overall it was wonderful experience staying with them.

The previous occupants had been smoking in the room and hung a sock over the smoke detector, the smoke smell lingered. Old bed linen and towels were left in the cupboard, the kettle was missing as was one of the plates and some cutlery

When I pressed the buzzer I was told I had to pay on line before getting access to the room as it was a Sunday and there were no staff. The property was dirty with rubbish everywhere. The room wasn’t clean. We took one look and left despite losing the room cost through late cancellation

• Smith (1/5): Beware do not book here. - Booked on app.Sent a message of time of arrival. Arrived around 11.30pm. Rang bell,phoned several times,sent messages,knocked.NO reply ,to access to motel so we left after 40 min. Tried to call today no one will answer the phone. They should be taken off bookings.com read all their bad revews today. No custumer service at all . They were hppy to take booking and money ,we did what was asked and they completly ingnored us on arrival .left with no accomodation
