Guest Reviews
- Alice (8/5): - This property was easy to find and in a very good area that was walkable to a park and dining and shopping options. The room was a bit outdated and could use some improvements but it was affordable.
- Ken (4/5): - Pool and hot tub not working shower door in my room cracked glass on shower door just taped over for a repair half used shampoo and conditioner in bathroom street to parking lot needs to be finished
- maxine (8/5): - NO ONE AT DESK ALOT OF TIMES
- Sukhmeet (8/5): - Good
- Manuel (6/5): - Old and not up to date at all
- Terry (8/5): - We didn't have housekeeping come to replace our garbage or towels, hung the towels out side, it was great place to stay overall tho.. š we will be back again in the future..
- Catherine (10/5): - Good place
- Julia (10/5): - Staff were very accommodating, rooms were clean and the nice soft bed was fantastic. I would recommend the motel! See you next yearš
- Hassan (2/5): - It had bedbugs
- Brendan (4/5): - The room was not cleaned properly, particularly the bathroom. The cost of the room was far too high for what one received.
- Volodymyr (8/5): - all ok
- Liane (4/5): - It needs some serious renovations. Too much money for what you actually get.
- Susan (8/5): - Would have been really nice to have had a face cloth in bathroom for showering or washing face.
- Jasmine (4/5): - This place is clearly housing for some folks and I was greeted by two very intoxicated residents who had chattel everywhere outside and who slurred nonsense at me every time I left my room. They then had random vehicles pulling through the parking lot through the night and would go chat at the window of that vehicle. They also played music so loudly it shook my floor. Not recommended for a family looking for a decent place to stay.
- Amy (2/5): - The rooms were at all like the photos, there was long term tenants (one of which was drunk and yelling all through the night which then resulted in him getting arrested). The property advertised a pool, it was empty and used for storage, the premises were dirty and run down, it was just an overall BAD experience. We shortened our stay and re-arranged our vacation to accommodate new plans. NOT RECOMMENDED!
- Norma (6/5): - The parking lot was not big enough for the number of rooms. The side walks were broken & rough. I had to go & ask for glasses for the room. There was a coffee maker in the room but not a proper carafe to make it in & no cups or mugs to drink it from. The room was very clean and it was quiet in the room. Microwave & frig were nice to have as well as a table & chairs to sit at to eat. AC worked well. Park and playground across the road would be a plus for families.
- Sarra (6/5): - Expensive for a very simple room. Fridge not working properly. AC making too much noise
- Rene (8/5): - Norml property, not outstanding, when trying to use hideaway bed found it in poor and dirty matress condition so did not use
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Not clean. Broken air conditioner.
- jean (6/5): - Ok
- Michael (8/5): - Great place to stay very clean
- Ronald (2/5): Drive away, quickly. - Worst hotel possible. Supposedly non-smoking but stench everywhere. Very unsafe. Door locks broken, window locks borderline broken. I would sleep in my car if this was the last vacancy in town.
- eric (4/5): Dirty - Dirty bathroom. Did nothing to credit us.
- Robert (8/5): - It was good
- Bonnel (10/5): - Price is right
- Verified traveler (2/5): Filthy - filthy. Stained comforter, used sheets. Moldy shower. Broken/cracked & duct taped shower glass door. Manager does not speak English making communication exceptionally difficult
- Verified traveler (2/5): Filthy - filthy. Stained comforter, used sheets. Moldy shower. Broken/cracked & duct taped shower glass door. Manager does not speak English making communication exceptionally difficult
- Verified traveler (2/5): Disgusting - Disgusting filthy. Stained comforter, used sheets. Moldy shower. Broken/cracked & duct taped shower glass door. Manager does not speak English
- Trudy (8/5): - Great location and affordable price
- Ralyn (4/5): - Dirty chairs...sticky with some kind of stuff. No intercom to contact the office desk ...had to run from the room to the office for needed amenities but no front desk clerk around.
- Rahul (4/5): Not worth the cost - It was terrible stay..no hangers in room. Doors were not maintained. No drinking water available. Not worth for more than $50 per night.
- venan (6/5): - This hotel needs a little Reno down, shower door was broken, we had ripped towels.
- Gary (8/5): - Good value for money. Clean. Good location
- Mel (6/5): - The motel was advertised in the Hotels.com with free breakfast and pool, those 2 are essential to us as our kids love to have them, unfortunately we were told they were not available at that time, it would have been very helpful if we knew that ahead of time and were indicated in the website. Other than that the person in the front desk is very helpful.
- Misty (10/5): - The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful about local attractions.
- Graham (2/5): - Place is terrible. Run down and dirty
No English speaking
Do not stay here
- Anthony (6/5): - Good for the price paid
- Grant (2/5): - Property was dirty, rusting shower door, carpet torn, paint bubbling from walls.
- Alenka (2/5): - It is badbugs there, my body all was bites
- Deci Rose (6/5): - Affordable
- Lauren (6/5): - Room was fine, but if you have loud neighbors you might have trouble sleeping.
- Joe (6/5): - Was clean, outdated. Uncomfortable beds
- NATALIE (10/5): - Smooth
- Parth (8/5): - The rooms are decent. Well maintained. There are some areas that needs improvement and possible renovations.
- Pierre (10/5): - Great value option. Would recommend, and will be staying here again.
- Jason (8/5): - Decent place and price. Did the trick.
- analyn (4/5): - parking is icy, room is dirty and dusty, floor
- Katherin (8/5): - Basic but clean hotel. The front receptionist was friendly. Our room had some updates, so it was nice.
- Ryan (8/5): Dated but nice! - Great for the price! Little outdated but lots of room. Lots of local places within walking distance. Secure room with nice usable kitchen. Would stay again.
- Cameron (2/5): - Would like to post pictures of the room they gave us here but canāt find an option to do so. No mattress covers?? Walls and baseboards filthy. Lino floor with no floor mat in winter? Needed to bring our dogs last minute which we have done before. We were not expecting to stay at the ritz for the price we were paying. I think the mattress with no cover was as old as the hotel or maybe picked up in an ally somewhere. We were also overbilled as our room was down graded when we brought our dogs who never stayed in the room alone and were very well behaved. The dogs have stayed in better and cleaner hotels.
- Walter (6/5): Week day get away at the hot springs - During the winter months they need to turn up the temperature on the day of their guests arrival , we arrived at 4 pm the room was cold all the thermostat were set at 10CI turned the thermostat up to max in every room then went for dinner and then to th Hot springs pool .came back 4 hrs later the rooms were still cool , floor was cold . When I woke up in the morning I could walk in bare feet and the rooms were warm enough that I turrned the thermostats down to 22c
- Grant (8/5): - Nice quiet older motel, adequate for the price. Although rooms are designated non-smoking, ours reeked of old stale tobacco smoke.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Kinda not bad - Everything was ok except the bed had two mattress one on-top of the other without a boxspring so it was not great staff was good and friendly. Also would be cool if the pool was open but its radium so just go to the springs i guess
- Patricia (2/5): - We didn't even stay here, very checked in and then left because all of the windows in the ground floor room were broken and wouldn't lock.
- Naurice (6/5): - Very average.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Enjoyable stay ! - Great day !!
- Silvia (6/5): - Very budget friendly place to stay for one night. Clean enough but some things were in dire need of repair.
- Trevor (10/5): - Great location. Walkable. Went for the car show!
- ken (6/5): - its ok
- Santo (2/5): - Terrible stay
- John (6/5): - .
- Colleen L (10/5): - Horrible
- Sharron (8/5): - This was an older hotel with charm. It was very clean and the staff was warm and friendly.
- Eric (6/5): - Nice bathroom! We were told that our room was on the ground floor but it turned out to be on top floor and we are old and somewhat crippled. The TV is too small. Otherwise the room was adequate
- lily (10/5): - Clean
- Susan (4/5): Don't believe the photos! Overpriced. - People working there were very friendly. However, the place was pretty run down. Outside was dirty, Fridge in our room freezer section was full of frost. Bed mattress was clearly beyond it's useful date. Pool was empty, looked like it had been for a while, yet we were not notified. We booked there because it had a pool. No discount on the price due to the non-functioning pool. Very overpriced for what you got.
- Jacob (4/5): - They seriously need new beds... horrible to sleep on
Breakfast was edible... just had yogurt cups
- Howard (6/5): - Our party found the Radium Park Lodge adequate for our purposes, stayed only one night.
We appreciated the breakfast.
The best a motel can offer is comfortable clean beds, and this we found to be true. Cleanliness is often overlooked, especially bathroom fans.
- Rod (8/5): - The room was dated but clean the area was great close to everything and the free breakfast was amazing
- Gurkirat (10/5): - It was very comfortable and quiet place with best food in breakfast. Staff was very nice too.
- Clayton (2/5): - Not clean, very dated⦠the roof was scary⦠breakfast was awful
- Julieta (2/5): - Advertized with Pool but nothing the aircon was terrible sounds like your in a welding shop. I paid with aircon but i have to turn off as it was terrible sound.Ended up with electric fan I ask the front desk but nothing they can do.No propane for BBQ and no lights from the gazebo i need to request again.Sorry but need to attend your customer. The hotel was pricely too.
- Dmitry (6/5): - Tried to charge me over the rate that I booked at through Expedia. I booked two rooms at the same time and they gave me rooms in separate buildings! The building is a bit dilapidated, poorly kept. Pool was closed for renos.
- Viktor (10/5): - It was a nice place for one day stop.
- Nadine (4/5): - Super old and Run down!! Beds are rock hard in serious need of upgrades not worth the nightly rate!!
- Patrick (8/5): - Very good continental breakfast. Seems to be a lot of renovations going on with a lot of unfinished work very visible which detracts from the surroundings.
- Brian (6/5): - It is an older building. The AC sort of worked. It was clean, and quiet. The decor definitely needs to be updated, like the bathrooms have been. I would stay there again.
- Amanda (2/5): - Stayed at this property last night August 3. Was in room 32 building B and was awoken to being bitten by BED BUGS! Do not stay here this place is DISGUSTING.
No one to speak with at the front desk, so went to my truck to sleep. Manager never called, after being told I would get a call. DISAPPOINTED
- Deidra (10/5): - The staff were friendly and the breaks was great!
- Christie (8/5): - Staff was great!!!
- Gordon (2/5): - This property is very poorly kept. Lots of junk and trash outside and around the property. Unkept reception area. Rooms are barely passable and the airconditioning is massively noisy, making it almost impossible to sleep. Would definitely not recommend this property nor stay again without huge changes and upgrades.
- Justin (10/5): - Outdoor bbq area and common patio. Very nice for making a meal after travelling
- Naomi (2/5): - Zero stars. Dirty. Dead bugs. Pet hair. We donāt have a pet. Couldnāt use the pull out couch. The mattress was stained. Had cigarette burns. Just donāt stay here. Pool is also closed, but we were not informed
- Loreen (4/5): - There was no housekeeping during our 4 day stay. Floors didnāt feel clean. Pool was out of service. Had to go and get replacements for anything you used (towels, coffee). There were holes in the walls and the windows didnāt shut properly. Bathroom door would not shut.
On a good note the breakfast was good and tasty.
For a ārenovated ā property it still needs a lot of maintenance.
- Lourdes (8/5): - nothing
- almira (8/5): - Breakfast was great!
- Riley (10/5): - Stayed in the king room with jacuzzi tub. Recently renovated and well cleaned with almost everything needed within walking distance. Price was great compared to other hotels in the area. Only down side was that the king bed was quite firm and didn't provide the best sleep. Would stay again in the future.
- Sarah (8/5): - .
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not even trying - No pool, no hot tub, no bolt or chain lock on door.
- Rhea (4/5): - For the price, it was disappointing. No mattress box cover, old dirty pillow. Kitchen table was dirty, just old and dirty.
- Tom (8/5): - Bueatiful place
- Kenneth (6/5): - We have a decent stay. The room was clean, just outdated a bit. The AC kept the room from getting hot, but not cool.
- Frederick (2/5): - This was by far one of the worst motels i have ever stayed in. Upon our arrival there was junk everywhere around the check in area of the lodge. The girl at the front desk couldn't be bothered to explain where our room was and pointed at the map and told us to figure it out. This motel still uses physical keys and couldn't provide us with a second one. When we opened the door, the room stunk of old smokers. The bed was BARELY a bed, with sheets that didn't even cover the entire mattress. The mattress was exceptionally uncomfortable.
This motel was not worth what we were charged, it was overpriced for the quality of the bed, the furniture, and even the few amenities. I would've rather slept in my car.
RPL, please do some renovations or sell parts of this motel to a company that has the desire to provide proper service and room quality.
- Andrea (2/5): - clutter in lobby , hoader, junk stashed everywhee. reno cheap plastic drain stopper in tub . one sheet no mattress pad very dirty floors edges had to clean tub before using smelled
- Myra (6/5): - Staff were great/ the room is in need of a good cleaning.Blood on bathroom door /floors were dirty. They have a no smoking sign outside but certainly do not enforce it. Quests were outside in front of my room smoking. If you don't like the smell of cig. smoke /stay away from this Motel. I do believe most of the quests are permanent or long term. Will not book here again.
- Donna (6/5): - The air conditioner was sooo low to the ground it was cooling the side of the boxspring of the bed in front of it the room was hot and not good
- Maelaine (10/5): - Amazing stay super clean and friendly staff.
- Samantha (8/5): - I was worried to book here after reading the reviews however was pleasantly surprised. We arrived late and only needed for a stop over. Room was clean, lady at desk was helpful and check in was simple. Would recommend if you just need a place to stay for the night
- James (8/5): What happened to the pool and hot tub? - WE booked into the Radium Park Lodge through Hotels.com
Booking went well except that we have a small dog, and when booking on-line there is no place to indicate that a pet friendly room is required.
Fortunately for us, when we arrived at the Park Lodge, they had lots of room.
On the Park Lodge website it shows a that it has a pool and a hot tub.
Both of those have not been working for years now.
We were disappointed.
These hotels should have to update this type of information on a regular bases.
Other than that, rooms we ok.
- William (4/5): - It was almost the least expensive, but they are new owners, renovations in progress, but no mention of this until we were at check in.
Family of four. But only two towels in āfamily suiteā
This was my third poor experience here.
They did give two adult passes to Radium Pools.
But there were four of us.
We picked this place because of the pool, and hot tub, and continental breakfast as advertised, as it was a bit pricey than the other family suite i had looked at, but thought the kids could pool it when we were not at the hot springs.
The owner lady was definately trying, and her english is definitely E for effort!
