We liked fireshows and cabaret👍 Thai villa’s living area is very small. I hit my foot twice, and my wife hit her foot once to a mirror stand next to the walking path to bathroom. I would remove that stand as there are two mirrors already in the villa.

- Mr. Fillerup (3/5): - Beach towels Where should I start. Cold food for breakfast. Even though they had provision for keeping the food hot, nobody seemed to have a lighter. The only hot food was the made to order omelet. Rooms were poorly designed. Very dark in the bathroom. Sink not located in the same area as the shower/toilet. No hand towels provided. So if you washed your face or hands you then had to go find a towel to dry yourself. Shower head was 50% blocked.

- Tom (8/5): It was okay once they put us in a different room. - Location Initially they put us in a badly laid out room. When you enter you are in the bathroom area. You have to go up 12 stairs to get to the bedroom. In very inconvenient going to the bathroom at night.

- Gino (6/5): Could be great, but clearly poorly managed. - Location. Beach staff good. Breakfast was ok. Noisy every breakfast, afternoon and evening. One man band singing with a guitar. Same songs, same key, and much louder than the volume of the cabaret and beach background music. Impossible to sleep before 11pm if you are near the beach area. Beach room has a dark floor, and had plenty of sharp edges to stub your toes.

Das Hotel war im allgemeinen sehr laut, ständig war ein Musiker mit Gitarre und beschalte am Tag, manchmal schon zum Frühstück, den Strand mit seinen Songs! Wir haben tatsächlich das Hotel gebucht weil viele Bewertungen mit "ruhig" beschrieben wurden, leider war das nicht der Fall. Das Essen aus dem eigenen Restaurant ließ auch zu wünschen übrig....wir waren enttäuscht!

Mało tego obsługa przy meldowanie mówi ze wszystko w lodówce jest za free, a przy wymeldowaniu każą płacic 500-600bath za wypite napoje ktore byly za darmo, wybrałem najdroższy hotel, myślałem ze bedzie luksusowo, dostaliśmy skandaliczne pokoje, nawet nie bylo gdzie usiąść, gdzie za 2 noce płaciliśmy 19.000bath w restauracji ceny wyssane z palca chodziliśmy jeść obok, piwo jakieś 200-300 bath małe 0.3l, gdzie obok kosztuje 100-120 duże piwo, nigdy wievej tego hotelu lepiej unikać, bylem na tej wyspie 3 razy i 1 raz się zawiodłem. Widok z pokoju na ogród z balkonu, szkoda ze z korytarza wchodziło sie do pokoju i to niby był balkon. Oszuści.

- Daniel (7/5): Great place except split floor room - The location is perfect. In April, plenty of bean bags on the beach. Ordering somtam from beach vendors wasn't a problem. Breakfast buffet is decent. Good Asian options. Staff was very receptive and the noisy air-conditioner got fixed before the 2nd night sleep. I did not like the double room being split to two floors. I didn't notice that when booking and didn't expect it. I hated it. It made for two small rooms rather than one large room. I understand the concept but functionally it is a failure because: 1. it is a long way and a flight of stairs every time you must pee, 2. the AC is on the 2nd floor with the bedroom, so the foyer with the sink & mirror and bathroom below (1st floor) are quite hot and uncomfortable to be in, no fan either. Unfortunately, the bad design concept, in an effort to be trendy or different, is a failure in my opinion and cannot be easily rectified. That said, the hotel and it's staff do their best to accommodate the guest needs whenever possible.

- Stefan (8/5): Ok hotell, men skippa frukosten och ät den i byn istället. - Det var nära till allt, men ändå inte mitt i byn. Fin långgrund strand Bokade upphämtning med båt genom hotellet några dagar innan, men när vi väntade på att bli upphämtade och körda till båten så var vi ändå inte bokade. När vi kom till hotellet, så hittade personalen inte vår rumsbokning så vi fick vänta 30 min. Frukosten var inte så bra, brödet hårt/gammalt och det fanns få pålägg. Fanns ägg, men ingen bacon, inte så mycket frukt att välja på. På stranden fanns det bara stora säckar att sitta på, var en utmaning att resa sig från dem.

- Daryl (9/5): Excellent location on the beach with many other bars and restaurants either side along the beach - Superb location on the beach at Samet Island. We stayed in one of the Thai cabins that faced the beach, was very relaxing and loved the all day music which finished at 11pm each night after which it was very peaceful and allowed a good nights sleep. The cabin had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. All staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and the beach bar done some outstanding food. Fire show each night ant 830pm made the evening. Overall very pleased and will visit again.

- richard (8/5): Great location and friendly staff - We had a wooden style villa pretty much on the beach , very comfy bed , had a great Thai feel about it , being close to beach just near in mind there’s live music and entertainment till 11 o clock every night , for us we loved it but others might not like the noise , breakfast has a good choice but it’s only mediocre The drink prices were very expensive, we saw most people bringing drinks from 7-11 , in the end we done the same

- Hirber (8/5): Jederzeit gerne und sofort wieder, war eine rundherum toller Strandurlaub - Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, der wunderschöne Strand, gute Livemusik, geräumiges Zimmer, viele nette Lokale und Bars in Reichweite,der angebotene Transfer mit dem Speedboot zur Fähre,… Die Preise in der Strandbar sind für thailändische Verhältnisse überhöht, wobei die Qualität der Speisen und Getränke top ist und ja 2x täglich zur Happy Hour geläutet wird. Im Zimmer haben uns die kleinen Handtücher ein bisschen gefehlt .

Garten, dass Tiergeräusche zu hören sind ist eben die Natur. Frühstück vielfältig. Wer sich nichts findet ist selbst schuld. Mopedparkplatz vorhanden. Sehr zentral gelegen Alles bestens. Ein paar Liegen anstatt ausschließlich den Liegesäcken wären anzudenken. Liegen zum Mieten gibt es nur wenige Schritte entfernt (200 Baht pro Tag). Beleuchtung der Klimaanlage erhellt das Zimmer, blaues, sehr helles Licht. Wir haben es mit einem Handtuch abgedeckt.

- lisa (9/5): Fabulous 6 days - Fabulous location, beach is stunning and plenty going on in the evenings. Hotel was so relaxing, set in beautiful neat tidy gardens, full of fairy lights at night. Our room was huge and had everything you’d need, beach towels, beach bag, flip flops etc - felt more like a 4 star hotel. Staff were welcoming and super helpful. Amazing pick up service from the mainland pier, we chose the hotels speed boat service. Breakfast was great we loved the egg chef girls, they were always smiling. Really wonderful 6 days and I highly recommend it. We will be back again. Thank you.

To, ze jsme dostali horsi pokoj nez jsme objednali a zaplatili a teprve po slozitem jednani nas prestehovali do spravneho pokoje ale ty komplikace nam trochu kazili jinak krasne zazitky. Nakonec nam dali i kompenzaci za rozdil cen pokoju, ale booking.com by se mel hotelu optat, jak zachazi s jejich rezervacemi.

- MarioE1979 (2/5): They don’t need me as customer - as I got told by a hotel staff member - I booked Grand View Resort because of its beachfront location, which is honestly the main selling point of this hotel. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and I ended up checking out early. The beach service was the worst I have ever experienced in my life. We spent about six hours on the bean bags and were served only once during that entire time. For a hotel that promotes its beach atmosphere, this level of service is completely unacceptable. When I finally went to the beach bar to address the issue, the bar chef reacted in a way that shocked me. Instead of apologizing or trying to improve the situation, he told me word for word: “I have enough customers and I don’t need you.” This is, without exaggeration, the most disrespectful thing I have ever heard from a leading hotel staff member. At that moment, it became very clear to me that staying longer would only ruin my holiday further. I left the beach bar immediately and decided to check out of the hotel. In my opinion, there are many better places to stay on Koh Samet with staff who understand hospitality and basic respect. If you have other options, I strongly recommend choosing a different hotel.

- Geraldine (8/5): Hotel vid havet och centralt - Bungalows är för små och mörka. Dock bra läge. Rummen i större bygnaden är stora men även där är lite mörka rum. Läget är bra, nära havet och många sittkuddar. Nära 7-11 och andra billiga restauranger. Personaler är snälla och trevliga. Vi hyrde privat speedboat och det var mycket värd priset, blev hämtad från elefant cafe i ban phe och även lämnad där. Mörka rum och bungalows är små för det priset
