• Verified traveler (6/5): Expectations were not fulfilled - We didn't get the room we expected from the photos. Receptionist never got back to us with a solution as she promised. The decor was shabby and there was damage on walls. Too bad in such a great space. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel. We made the best of it and had a good stay. Location is close to the city center, a parking house, and good restaurants which was what we wanted, but this convenience came with very loud city noise due to its central location.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Its a great starting point for a city break. The room was clean, the kitchen needs a quick refresh, but is ok to prepare your morning coffee or tea. The shower in our room was not really useful, but they provided clean towels daily. It was a great value in Copenhagen Center. I would recommend for short term visits, got the perfect location for a city break.
• Allan (10/5): Fint budget hotel - Mere et bed and breakfast sted med noget begrænset åbningstid i receptionen, fint fælles køkken (lidt hostel agtigt), men gode, praktiske og behagelig værelser, fin service når der er åben.
• Jes (8/5): Overraskende oplevelse - Jeg er handicappet, som jeg også oplyste ved reservation. Så da jeg ankommer receptionen ved 13.00 tiden og der er lukket selvom der står den åbner kl. 10.00. Der er et telefonnummer, men der bliver ikke svaret. En beboer fortæller at der er et te-køkken hvor jeg kan vente. Der er elevator, men den stopper mellem etagerne, så enten skal man gå en trappe op eller ned for at komme til sin etage. Lidt besværligt når man skal slæbe både sin bagage og en rollator. Der er fælles bad og toilet, men jeg fik en etage for mig selv, så jeg skulle ikke vente på nogen. Personalet (der alle havde været oppe på femte sal) er meget søde og hjælpsomme. Hotellet er meget rent. Sengene sover man helt fantastisk i. Neden under hotellet er der en kaffebar der hedder Flexitar, her kan man få lækker gourmet kaffe. Deres cappuccino er nærmest et kunstværk. Virkelig et besøg værd.
• Jimmy (6/5): Average and ok! - + Comfy bed if you like a bit harder bed + Great location, close to everything + Nice staff - Ice cold floor in bathroom - Bathroom door had the locking mechanism on the outside only on the bathroom door. (No lock from the inside) Nice failure when building the room I guess? - We heard everyone walking and talking in the stairs and some club music that goes on to 24:00. - No shampoo in the shower. Overall it's a cosy and ok hotel where you can rest before going out again, it's good for sleeping after (24:00) but you don't stick around for that long, but that's what hotels are for in my opinion.

• David (8/5): I don’t want to write a review. - The hotel is on a major street and a prime spot for walking around. Great value for money. Bed a little stiff, and I could see the single bathroom on the floor being an issue for some. Staff weren’t hostile but not entirely welcoming either, which is also fine. Basically it’s a cheap hotel and you get what you pay for, so just be sure you’re paying for something you want.

Rakennus on vanha ja hieman rapistunut. Jos saa huoneen halvalla eikä tarvitse muuta kuin paikan nukkua, tämä hotelli on ihan ok.

Baderummene var en håndbruser uden nogen form for tryk. Det havde været hurtigere at løbe op og ned fra 5. Etage med et krus og hente vand. Der stod en håndsæbe, intet andet. Der var ikke engang en klud eller svaber, så man i det mindste kunne tørre op efter sig. Hotellet er dejligt central... men gudskelov jeg kun skulle overnatte een nat.

Men sengen på værelset var elendig - det føltes som at ligge på 20 fyldte indkøbsposer, Stort set ingen service, ingen sæbe, ingen glas på værelset, intet tv, et badeværelse som ligner en brusekabine med indbygget håndvask og toilet. Hotellet tilbyder ikke morgenmad men henviste til en morgenmadsbuffet i stueetagen som var både dårlig og dyr. Udvalget bestod af skyr, chiagrød, uappetitlig slatten frugt, franskbrød, ost og en halvfærdig omgang scrambled eggs der var blandet 50/50 op med oregano på stængel ... Dertil en kop kaffe og et glas vand. Ingen marmelade, honning, forskellige oste, pålæg, musli, havregryn, cornflakes, rugbrød, rundstykker, fisk, grøntsager etc etc. Jeg fik at vide, at der var et åbningstilbud med rabat på 50%. og gav således 97,50 kr for en portion skyr, en ostemad, en lille portion eggs som jeg ikke magtede at spise op, en kop kaffe og et glas vand. Jeg overnatter ofte i Kbh og prisen på en morgenmadsbuffet er aldrig over 120 kr på de billigste hoteller. Hvis det normalt skal koste 195 kr holder denne "restaurant" ikke måneden ud.

• Desiree (2/5): Mai piu - Hotel Loven sembra un hostello ma senza le cose carine di un hostello. Un hotel molto anonimo, pavimento di linoleum, le stanze sono spartane e i mobili che ci sono, sono di basso livello, che non e un problema, ma non hanno gusto. Sul mio commento che l'internet non funziona, la risposta era; succede. In piu il costo di 153 euro per una stanza di questo livello e inaccetabile.
• Louise (4/5): Finns bättre - Extremt varma rum, kyl som låter, minst två kyrkor i närheten som ringer väldigt högt varje morgon vid 8, dvs sovmorgon var inget alternativ. Hotellet var gammalt och slitet och det fanns inget positivt överraskande. Personalen trevlig och bra städ varje dag. Inte värt priset man betalade

• Dirk (6/5): Good price for quality relation - Except for the odd nightly speeding police car, the place was very quiet. We slept well, and enjoyed the lively environment. Yes, the place could use a drop of paint, and perhaps a new painting or a cool lamp. But there was definitely nothing wrong with the place. It was clean and affordable, and what more can you want....

The location is very good and the double room that we stayed in was a good size, like a tiny, tiny apartment. It wasn’t very clean and the toilet couldn’t barely flush. But if u want a good location for one-two nights, then it’s OK.

• Lanette (6/5): - Knowing it’s was over/next to a nightclub would have been good information to know. The noise was UNBELIEVABLE!!! People screaming, fighting, engines reving, but the worst was the massive amounts of fire crackers being lit. By the time I was finally able to get to sleep it was nearly time to get up.

Vi havde ikke så høje forventninger, men hovedpuden var så knyttet at det var som at ligge på småsten, det var varmt og under taget, vinduet kunne lukkes op , men der var ikke noget til at holde det åbent, hen på natten var der mere end varmt/ tæt luft, så jeg satte håndklædet i vinduet så det ikke kunne blæse helt i. Vi fik udleveret nøgle derudover var der ingen service af nogen art

• Ron (2/5): Very Disappointed. - We were very disappointed in Hotel Loeven. First, it is situated right over a nightclub, so there is noise all night long. Second, their site does not mention that there are rooms without an en-suite bathroom, which we were given. Third, there is no TV and the rooms are extremely plain. Fourth, when I paid the bill, they charged me an extra 15% because they don’t accept credit cards that are issued out of the EU. Yes, this hotel is in a good location and it is clean.

Very conveniently located, lot of good places to eat around, some attractions are also close by..(City itself can be covered by foot), bit of shopping can also be found. Bit more on the price for the basic facilities offered, atleast toiletries can be provided(found only handwash in bathroom), wifi was very bad during our stay, rooms are not sound proof(you can hear every single person walking on the stairs if you are in 1st floor, can't say about other rooms...otherwise rest is good, friendly staff, self catering kitchen with free Tea & Coffee. I would definitely recommend this place, if you don't mind spending a bit, actually that compensates what you spend on transport and saves time for travel too.

• Philip (8/5): - I had very bad experience. Peter the manager told me my card payment had not clear so I had to exchange another in Denmark currency. When I returned to hotel he later confirmed the payment had through. Peter (manager) promised to returned the card payment so I paid cash equivalent to him. Unfortunately he has not returned the card payment. I feel they have defrauded me.

• Linda (10/5): Great small family hotel - This is a small family-run hotel, not like the chains in any way. Quaint and full of character. Staff was very helpful with our travel reservations, where to shop, getting us a taxi, and it fit in well with the character of Copenhagen. Loved it!

• CYNTHIA (2/5): Don't stay here!!! - This hotel was over priced at $150 a night plus extra charges. There was no bath soap, just a bottle of hand soap for all uses. No wash cloths and while they offered extra towels, they were never delivered. Shower floods the entire bathroom, so you have to be careful not to slip after a shower. The area is central but a lot of road construction. When I checked Hotels.com they advised that the construction had ended, not so. Elevator stops between floors so useless when carrying luggage. The bed was a few inches larger than a twin, although booked as a double. Area had a lot of shops where to eat and probably better hotels. Shop around, don't stay here. Sleeping outdoors is only slightly worse than staying here. What a rip off!
• Charles (6/5): Centrally located, no luxury for a bit too much - Easy to walk to from the main station, lots of good restaurants close by, room is clean with bare necessities, no formal reception, no lounge, but common area kitchen that is not clean and not really pleasant with cheap quality free tea (did not try the coffee offered), still there is the possibility of cooking with fridge to keep stuff ( the collection of half full boxes of cereal on top of the fridge is a bit of a put off) as no breakfast included, no shampoo/conditioner/skin cream offered only liquid soap, small bathroom with weak vent, bathroom is shower so wet all over after showering, bed comfortable, clean, warm comforter, one towel/person (no hand towel), no closet/open wardrobe with minimum # of hangers, no iron/ironing bd, no laundry bag, no coffee in room, old time windows open to let in fresh air but also street/bar noise though quiet deep into the night. • Linda (4/5): Bad service - They lied and said credit card use in Denmark applies a 10% surcharge on all transactions. Not true but they do. Expect extra charges. Staff is very rude and not helpful. Cleanliness is a B-.
• Bill M (6/5): CPH Overniter - Hotel was very disappointing especially with the price paid. Room was a step above a hostel. Bed was uncomfortable with a paper thin mattress. Shower had no separation so water was all over the floor. Construction was going on outside and it was a major street so it was extremely noisy.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Good choice! - Even better than the description. Spacious rooms, nice people, close to old city and many attractions, good atmosphere. Tourist Office is right around the corner, too. We had the free coffee and tea in the kitchen, and could even make our own breakfast there with stuff we bought from Lidl's across the street. Everything was convenient. We'd go back!
• Eileen (8/5): You get what you pay for! - Get what you pay for, a bed for the night! Basic but clean and relatively cheap by Copenhagen standards. Would have been good to know in advance about 3.75% surcharge for foreign credit cards. May have been somewhere in small print but..... Reception only open 10 00am to midnight, bit strange and a bit worrying should there be a problem eg locked out! Access to hotel is via locked door for which key is provided but should it be lost or eg accidentally left in room, no emergency contact details are available. Room clean but needs new mattresses badly, no support. Other than shared self service kitchen and fridge in room no amenities. Location good. Only a few minutes walk from central station and another few to city centre. Like I say, you get what you pay for and it was adequate.

• Neelam (10/5): - My stay at hotel Loeven was very nice! I was pleased at how comfortable and cozy the room was. The owner is extremely friendly and wants your experience to be as comfortable as possible. She, herself, said that she wanted her guests to feel like at home, which is exactly how I felt. The location is right in the city, conveniently located close to many of the main attractions. I would most definitely stay here again!
• Charlie (10/5): This is a Great Deal! - Love this hotel. It is spotlessly clean and only 2 blocks from the train station. Now if you expect an American style 'over the top' bathroom...it's not for you because it has the European style Water Closet/Shower/Toilet. But I have used those before so it was fine with me. Beds are super soft and it has a small Fridge in every room. This is a great hotel for visiting the City...but it doesn't include a TV but you should get out an enjoy the sites and don't worry about what's on TV. Also, community kitchen on 1st floor with free coffee. And again when I said 'spotlessly' clean...it really is. Loved it for the price! Would recommend to anyone...
• Traveler (4/5): bare comfort - the hotel gives you on towel and liquid soap. there is no shampoo in bathroom or bar soap. let me put it this way - you more or less get a bed. for $100 that's quite disappointing.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Great price, convenient location - The hotel is an honest, straight-forward choice for budget conscious travelers. The room was spacious, light, and clean, the beds comfortable and the staff accommodating and helpful. The only downside was our room's location right above a restaurant specializing in french fries, which made for a persistent fried fat odor.
• Mary (8/5): Basic, but clean, hotel in good location. - Very noisy traffic outside. Hard to stay asleep at night. Bathroom is a joke. Bathroom floor IS the shower. Messy and wet when you finish showering. Hotel staff is not properly trained. I got completely wrong information regarding use of the WI-FI.
• Jeff (2/5): This a boarding house, not a hotel - We left after less than two hours. This is not actually a hotel but a rooming or boarding house with a kitchen available to all residents. There is no hotel desk, staff or any amenities that one associates with a hotel. There was no hot water either. So we left for a real hotel.
• Ruth (4/5): Hotel convienent area of Copenhagen - The elevator only stopped between floors. I am using a Wheelchair and we had to carry the wheelchair up or down 6 or 7 stairs every time we left or returned. I would Not reccomend this hotel to anyone. Office staff not good.
• Jaime (8/5): - The staff at the Hotel Loeven was amazing. They were very accommodating, informative and friendly. The room was pretty comfortable, although the shower was a little strange as the water from the shower went all over the bathroom. There was no bottom ridge to keep the water in the shower. The neighborhood is very close to the train station and other local sites. The downside is that the neighborhood is very loud on a weekend night due to the bars or other nightlife. Not ideal for a family with young kids.
• Ralph and Liz (8/5): Good welcome from very pleasant receptionist - Very clean room. Comfortable beds. Good location, fairly close to town centre. Close to railway station. Loved walking around Copenhagen which one of Europe's nicest cities. Danes were very friendly.
