Guest Reviews
- Tony (10/5): -
- Sybil (2/5): Terrible experience, stiff bed, cold room. I was freezing every night and had kinks in my neck - There was a mini fridge and microwave The room has minimal outlets that are hard to find it was called in the heater. Only worked for one night, the toilet and bathroom cabinet or shorter than average I had to bend down to look in the mirror the band was very stiff and uncomfortable. The blankets poorly kept me barely warm specially since the heater didn’t work the price of the room was increased because of the busy weekend was not worth what I paid.
- Cervantes (7/5): -
- Alan Warburton (6/5): - Comfortable bed and pillows Close to a major junction, can be noisy in room
- Jennifer (8/5): Great value. Will stay again! - The location is very central. Room near the stairwell was a little noisy late at night.
- Rivera (6/5): - I like that it's affordable to overnight when you're traveling from Washington State down to Southern Oregon it's a good halfway point it's near the ocean it was clean It's on a busy Street so it's loud during the day but it quiets down in the evening so you can sleep
- Dawn (6/5): Dogs are In ! People mmmm not so much! - I liked the location of the property. I was told I could not have a bottom floor room because those all were reserved for people with dogs!
That did not make me too happy having to lug 2 bug suitcases and all my junk up the stairs by myself.
When I woke up the next morning at 7 am there were approximately 6 cars total in the parking lot .
I was the ONLY person on the top floor.
I had just stopped in Florence after leaving Eugene for a Surgical appointment for my back and thought maybe I could get a room on the ground floor.
I was thankful when leaving one of the maids helped me down the stairs with my suitcases at least . That was very thoughtful of her.
I told her I was told I was not allowed to rent bottom floor room because of their policies for dogs only.
Hopefully no one else has to go tru this if they don’t have animals.
- Anderson (7/5): - Just not like that the room was so bad
- Robert (4/5): ok - the location was good. There were towels for only one person, when we asked for more, we received only bath towels.
- Kolodziezak (4/5): Dont go here - No warm water, no heat. Cold OR Night. $80+
Terrible tv channel coverage
- Theodore (4/5): Ok but cold hearted hospitality - Location Extremely poor personality hospitality Robotic response to questions such as "Where is the laundry?" Terse cold responses from manager stayed four nights but did not service the room even for one night. Complimentary coffee offered but the one day I asked for it she said "I didn't make coffee today." Cold terse attitude
- Jonathan (10/5): -
- Ruben (10/5): -
- Giese (10/5): - location and cleanliness
- Irmgard (7/5): - Good location, friendly staff, clean room older building
- Cynthia (5/5): It was OK, when I booked I didn’t realize it was on the corner of a main intersection, bad tv. - The location was fine, and they didn’t offer a breakfast. The TV, most the channels are unavailable or infomercials, a better cable or even one streaming would have been better.
- Lurenda (5/5): - The room was clean and comfortable Noise level was loud and no coffee in room
- Stacy (5/5): -
- Brandi (8/5): - The only down side was the crazy loud street noise from being by the intersection.
- Tammy (7/5): -
- Keith (8/5): -
- Jane (7/5): Convenient location, very clean, efficient staff. I hope to return to stay again. -
- Rebecca (3/5): - Great spot, close to stores, gas, and food. Bare minimum, tried to take a bath, a bunch of brown grime and weird white stuff came up out of the drain into the water, so gross. They only had shampoo packets which were hard to open. Heater in the room was insanely loud. Very outdated which wasn't so bad mostly the water drain. Oh and all the mirrors were way high and in awkward positions to actually get full view, strange.
- David (7/5): -
- Eugenea (6/5): - It was clean. It smelled like burning plastic. They charged me $25.00 extra for my dog. This was a surprise.
- Dylan (5/5): -
- Ruben (9/5): I’ll return - Downtown Ants gathered around my food when left out on the counter.
- Jonathan (8/5): - Pulizia e posizione. Tipico motel americano. Avrei preferito ci fosse la lavanderia a gettoni interna
- Rebecca (7/5): - It was cozy and quiet.
- Gunther (10/5): -
- Martinsen (10/5): Gtr place comfortable grt staff ty -
- Robinson (5/5): - The location and price. But you get what you paid for. The room was too small for 2 queen beds. I has to squeeze my way between the bed and the fridge that was back in the closet. I ask for 2 more towels. The person on duty said you have 4. I assured her there were only 2 for 3 people in the room. She acted like I was asking for a free room or something. It a very old motel so there is some wear an tear. Like I said you get what you pay for. I will pay more next time to stay in a better room. And the pillows were thin and hard. Definitely require 2 pillows under my head.
- Leah (6/5): - The room had an unusual odor initially, opened the windows for a bit and resolved. Very basic as expected for the low price. No fan in the bathroom, bed very hard but manageable. Staff nice at check in.
- Fuchs (7/5): Pleasant. - Vailability of morning coffee right down the stairs.
- Judith (10/5): - Property is close to the highway and accessible. There is free parking. Check in only u til 2200.
- Joanne (10/5): -
- Lana (6/5): - Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Parking convenient. Traffic noise was very loud and constant. Difficult to sleep through the automobile noise.
- Daniel (10/5): - Very nice location. Convenient to everything. Parking lot felt safe.
- Kyla (6/5): Takes care of your basic needs at a decent location and good rate. - Did request and receive a ground floor room. I was traveling with dogs. Pictures did not show that pet rooms have no carpeting. That's okay but would have been nice to know, one dog doesn't like slick floors. Room was stuffy, was able to open a window, glad I had a fan with me. A lot of traffic noise when window was open. With window closed the traffic noise wasn't bad, even though right on the highway. Other guests were quiet, and you couldn't hear activity (such as toilets flushing) in neighboring rooms. Okay place to potty the dogs behind the motel with lights from neighboring business helping a bit to see. No outlet near the table. Since I had to leave so early in the morning, I didn't get a chance to tell them that the light on the nightstand didn't work well (unless it was only meant as a night light?). The tub didn't drain well. Would have been nice to know pet rooms don't have carpet, but was very happy to be able to have my dogs with me at $20 per dog per night.
- Chavez (7/5): -
- Annika (10/5): - Best hotel in Florence!
- Ramona (10/5): - Even though this was on the main drag and at a junction, it was very quiet. Might not be so much in the summertime, but it was this time that I stayed at the end of September. Most people are up late anyway in the summertime😁
- MELINDA (4/5): - Convenient location, but I didn't receive the bottom floor as requested, and had to return three times to the office for room type and key problems.
- Carole (8/5): - I stayed here because it is near the casino. Room was clean and comfortable. I wish the lighting was better. It was difficult for me to fix my hair and apply makeup because of the lack of good lighting. It is an older motel so does not have many of the more modern features like a counter top around the bathroom sink. Otherwise I was very happy with my stay.
- Jeremy (8/5): -
- John (6/5): - We had an odd problem checking in that I suspect will never recur.
- becky (10/5): -
- Yuxin (7/5): -
- TIm (5/5): -
- Joe (9/5): Villa West in Florence Oregon - Very clean. Good location on Hwy 101. Bed was hard. Walls are not sound proof so you hear the neighbors every move.
- Michael (8/5): - Decent motel - did all the basics well. Right by a crossroads on the way into or out of town. Lots of roaring engines every time the lights went green!
- sara (6/5): - Easy on site parking close enough to walk to the waterfront
- Betsy (4/5): -
- Tiller (7/5): -
- Elizabeth (10/5): - It’s a simple hotel. Perfect for a place to sleep when traveling and near restaurants and gas stations. It has its only parking lot. The hotel room was clean and the bed was comfortable
- Jared (9/5): - It was a convenient location
- Mary (10/5): - Clean. Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable bed.
- becky (10/5): -
- Melody (10/5): - Room was comfortable and clean, hot water was limited, left for dinner and returned to find no parking available had to park on the street.
- Jason (2/5): - Place is a wreck loud noises all night looks like drifters standing around outside just not good
- John (4/5): Dangerous and dirty - There were police around c P nstantly for drug dealers in area
Great Thai restaurant next door Bedbugs and shower pressure sucked
- MICAELA (7/5): -
- Jason (10/5): Clean roadside motel. Staff are always friendly -
- michele (8/5): - We liked that there was no carpet
Bed felt new and firm
- melissa (2/5): - Very rude and Unfriendly staff and traffic is loud all night and day.
- NIKHITHA (6/5): - The room was hot, no air conditioning but it got better later in the night when we kept the window open for few hours. Calm and neat.
- LaVonne (4/5): -
- Rosario S. (3/5): - I'm very disappointed with this place. Only good thing about this place is that it's close to alot of shopping places. That's it. The room, how dirty it was. There's no Ac, no fan. Sheets were dirty. Bathroom had a funky smell to it.
- Sommer (4/5): hot and loud - If you love the sound of diesel trucks racing at the light right out your window, you will love it. Shower head was so low that me, 5'4" had to squat down to wash the top of my head.
- Richard (2/5): Not coming back - The neighbors were drunk and loud until 2:30 in the morning, no air conditioning, so the room is hot as hell, and when I told the manager about it, they destroyed his shoulders and said oh
Tampoco proporcionan ventiladores.
- James (8/5): - The room i stayed in, (#12) had no A/C or fan at the time so i has to have my own fan and leave windows open. The room was newly remodeled, but lots of glue was left on the floor between planks, the hanger rod in the room wasn't secure and fell constantly.
The room was clean, the bed was clean and nice, not too noisy except i had to have my windows open all the time. Pet friendly and not to large a fee. Best word to describe it was adequate.
- Patrece (8/5): - Convenient location on the corner of hwy 101 and 26 but as to be expected, traffic was constant. Earplugs a must-have. A no frills basic room. Comfortable, clean and relatively inexpensive.
- Timothy (8/5): - In room AC would have been better
- Cabadaj (7/5): -
- Larry (8/5): - Fine
- Zumbrun (10/5): -
- Amanda (4/5): Oregon resident. Not my first time in Florence but definitely my last. - Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Location is convenient but that’s about it. It’s very loud both from traffic and other guests. It is right at a major intersection and you will hear traffic 24/7. You can both hear and feel when any door to another room shuts. If you’re a light sleeper I highly suggest earplugs. I brought them plus a box fan for white noise (and also if read the rooms are not air conditioned and I cannot sleep hot. I came here to get away from the PDX heatwave). Thank goodness I brought both or I would not have slept at all. WiFi is spotty at best so if you’re trying to work from here, don’t. Curtains don’t close all the way and as a woman traveling alone that was placed on the ground floor, I didn’t like this. I always travel with a hair claw clip for this reason (to clip the curtains closed fully). Honestly, Florence doesn’t have much to offer.
- Raymond R (4/5): - Loud road noise and no AC or fan. Not possible to sleep with a window open to get more air flow.
- sebrina (3/5): Not comfy or relaxing - In the center of everything. The sheets were itchy, smelly, and the fire alarm fell on my foot and wasn't attached to the wall.
Super noisy
by semi truck noises not relaxing at all.
No coffee maker or coffee available.
- Michelle (4/5): - Upon arriving I realized why the other reviewers said the place is noisy. It is at a large main intersection. Lots of big rigs and loud vehicles and motorcycles constantly stopping and going. It does quiet down around 10:30. We didn't know that if you have a pet you have to stay on the bottom floor. Good to know - people above us stomped around until late at night. The condition of the room seemed clean-ish, but the construction and painting are poor. It's like someone had their kids paint and spackle the walls and said "eh, good enough." The staff is standoffishly friendly. My partner hated the bed, but I actually slept really well. If you just need to crash here for one night and you don't want to pay a ton of money, it's really not all that bad so long as you don't mind the noise, mostly.
- NOEL (10/5): -
- Janivah (4/5): Cheap - The room was pretty basic, with no bathtub only shower. No AC. Left window open for cool air at night and the streets were very noisy/busy at all hours.
- Luke (5/5): Interested to see what it could become with investment from ownership. - Has potential and service met expectations. Location next to highway. Rooms were clean but have seen a lot. Dents in door like it had been kicked in at some point.
- Giovanni (8/5): -
- donna (8/5): - The hotel was ok the room was clean the bed were comfortable. It was very noisy. The hotel is on the corner of hwy 101and hwy 126 traffic coming and going big time. If you can handl e the noise it is ok for the price
- Carissa (10/5): - The room was clean and easy to get to.
- T (10/5): -
- Bonnie (6/5): - Staff was friendly and the room was clean. It's located on a very loud and busy intersection. There's no AC or fan in the room. There wasn't a coffee maker either. We ended up having to pay more for our room then originally was quoted by expedia. Luckily, we didn't spend much time in our room on this trip!
- David (4/5): I will book somewhere else next time - I slept The room is so small that the fridge and micro were crammed into the previous niche for the closet.
The bed was too firm and pillows were flat
The parking lot was jammed with cars vying for a place to squeeze in to park
Not good lighting in the room
- Dalila (7/5): -
- Thao (5/5): - Good location The bathroom was not clean!
- Gilliam (9/5): - Very clean rooms. Nothing really.
- Irene (10/5): - The people are so nice and the rooms are very clean. I have stayed here before and love it. Close to all I need
- Irina (10/5): -
- Linda (7/5): Was what expected for the price. - The location for sightseeing was handy.
Bed was good.
Refrigerator and micro.
Clean. Very noisy, on corner of busy intersection.
But we managed.
Could use a little update in bathroom.
- Jacek (4/5): - Roman was very small , out date , new
- Liang (5/5): Basic price for basic services. - Location - very convenient. Faire price - Ok if you just want to have a place to rest/sleep.
- Gwen (9/5): Wonderful. Would definitely stay again. - Close to everything No air conditioning
- Paul (6/5): - I would recommend this place unless you're desperate
