• Liisa (5/5): muy arriba, personal ignorante, limpieza regular - pesima relacion precio calidad - Barrio tranquila, zona residencial, buena vista tanto hacia montaña como hacia la ciudad. En un dia claro se ve el Illimani. Lejos del centro montearriba, un esfuerzo para llegar a pie. Atencion del personal casi inexistente, no estan a la altura de la tarea. Estuve seis noches, hicieron limpieza una vez. Lo peor fue que escogi este hotel porque supuestamente se podia pagar con tarjeta pero luego resulto imposible y tuve que pagar en efectivo. Inacceptable. Yo soy viajera, otros "huespedes" eran parejas que venian pasar la noche. No recomiendo para familias.

• Patricio (10/5): Nunca defrauda, BUENA OPCIÓN - El hotel está en una zona muy tranquila, ofrece parking gratis muy amplio. El departamento cómodo y limpio, la cocina trae lo necesario para que puedas cocinarte algo rápido, los cuartos son calientes en la noche, tienen estufa, igualmente hay muchas cobijas por si las requieres. El baño se ve algo gastado y el lavamanos tiene partes cubiertas con silicona, después de eso todo perfecto, un lugar interesante. Eso sí, es algo alejado del centro.

• Floor (7/5): Good and spacious hotel with good breakfast, but the wifi is really bad - Hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms. I arrived very early on a nightbus and I could already check in at 8.30 in the morning. Shower is very good. Breakfast buffet is also good. The wifi is really, really bad, something I would not expect from a 4 star hotel.
• Nur (6/5): Comfortable for short stay - The room was comfortable for a short stay. And there was a room heater which helped. The shower had hot water and also a bathtub however I didn’t get to use the tub. The staff were really friendly. It states on the booking that the kitchen had a lot of additional things such as a coffee machine but there was none. Just very basic things and no bowls. The wifi is not good.

• Angelika (7/5): Good - Hotel was ok, stuff very helpful, it's spacious and has the kitchen. The apartment is cleaned everyday. Comfortable beds. It's a little far away. The breakfast is not so good, not even basic one, mostly cookies, once they cleaned it before the official breakfast time.

• Rsnghn (7/5): Good location and amenities for a short stay in La Paz. - The location was ideal for when we first arrived to La Paz. Because we were suffering a bit from the altitude it was great to be in an apartment rather than a hotel room. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. The first night we had to sleep with all of the windows and internal doors open within the apartment as there was a strong smell of petrol throughout the entire building. We reported this to the staff at the reception who were not interested at all and claimed they couldn't smell anything... after a while they offered us another apartment on a different floor but the issue was the same. After a lot of questioning etc. it seems they had sprayed some kind of spray (still no idea what it was - I am assuming something related to covid) that somehow smelt like petrol (again, don't know), throughout the whole building. The next day the smell was gone and there was no other issue but this part of the stay was quite annoying/frustrating. No soap provided in the bathroom for washing hands.

• AP (10/5): Best value in the area - First time at this hotel in La Paz, we were pleasantly surprised by size of our apartment (#601), its decorations, comfort and the stunning views. Our apartment had 3 rooms, 2 of them with queen size beeds and one Jacuzzi, 2 full bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, dinning room and living room. Flat TVs in every room. Breakfast is not the best but will do. You are plenty of dinning options within walking distance but thew streets to these locations are very steep, be prepared and warned: easy walk down but you may want to take a taxi back at the hotel for Bs10. In any case, La Paz is just this way everywhere you go.

• HARRY (8/5): First class hotel - This is a very good hotel that I would have no hesitation to recommend to anyone visiting La Paz. It is in a suburb that is accessible by the cable car system. A short taxi ride away is the tourist hub. I had two rooms on two visits. Both were very spacious with all the amenities one would expect from a hotel of this standard. The staff were extremely helpful. There is also a travel office at the hotel which I used for a two day tour of Copacobana on lake Titicaca and the surrounding area. My room had cooking facilities as I believe all rooms have.

Situated in a probably posh residential area, no shops nearby, only houses. Room is comfy, but got quite a lot of ants at the bathroom. Room is quite cold. Staff's English is just ok, but very helpful.

Pros: super comfy, great view, apartments are lovely and spacious, big breakfast, staff are super nice and kind and welcoming, internet was good in most rooms and I could complete all work I needed to. Cons: heaters didn't work in all rooms, so a bit chilly; breakfast didn't actually start at 7:00 so not always ready before morning meetings, and I found a used condom wrapper in my bedroom, so that was gross. Tips: hotel forgot to send shuttle to pick me up at the airport at 1:30 a.m. The next time, I sent them a reminder email and someone came and was right on time. Make sure to send a reminder email!

• Verified traveler (10/5): Comfy beds - This hotel is amazing. We got upgraded to the three bedroom apartment and it was HUGE. The beds were super comfortable and the staff were very helpful. We ended up staying three more nights because it was so comfortable.

We, a family of six people, stayed in a three bedroom two bathroom apartment, which was THE MOST amazing accomodation in this one month of South American trip. Spotless rooms, spacious living room and kitchen..... above all, staffs there was fantastic. They even tried very hard to find us an accomodation in Uyuni when it was almost fully booked due to Dakar Ralley. Special thanks to Don Jose and his wife who remembered my words and gave us nice saltenas when we are leaving. It was very touching. The only weak point of this hotel is its remoteness from the center, but the million dollar view(esp.in the night) from the hotel makes up for it more than 150%. Just stay there, you will never regret.
• Wonjung (10/5): The most fantastic place!! - 죽이는 야경, 친절한 직원들, 중심가에서 떨어진 불편함을 덮고도 남는 곳! Fantastic view of the city, spotless and spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen...perfect for family travlers. All staffs were very kind. They even made numerous phone calls to help me find out a place to stay in Uyuni when there were few vacancy dur to Dakar rally. Special thanks to Don Jose and his wife who even gave us Saltenas for lunch when we leave. Even this place is far away from most of touristic places, but the view itself is worth to stay here. I highly recommend this place.

• Chandramouli (10/5): Wonderful Trip to La Paz - Ryan the manager was very helpful. He speaks good English. On our day trip to Copacabana he gave us some breakfast before the Chef came in. In the night (Dec 25th) everything was closed and he gave us some bread and banana cake. The hotel also arrages the pick up and drop off to the airport.
• Stuart (10/5): On the hillside but a cheap taxi gets you in - The stay at Almudena was faultless from start to finish. The complementary taxi got me to the hotel where the english speaking receptionists were quick to offer refreshments while the paperwork was completed. The hotel is away from the tourist central area but the suite I booked made up for that, with views across the city, cable tv, two bedrooms a kitchen and lounge. One small complaint there is heating in only one oof the bedrooms and depending on the season, La Paz can be cold.There are shops nearby for the basics, dial up Pizza can be delivered but for a restaurant meal you will need a taxi, 15 to 20 BOB should get you to the city centre, get the restaurant to call a cab to get you back, hailing one in the street may be a bit harder. All in all a great stay but streets are steep so take things slowly.

The airport transit was confirmed in no time and hassle-free! The breakfast was great! The room was super spacious and clean! Brayan at the front desk pointed me to great restaurants and on several occasions helped me through any challenges that I encountered.

• Clare (8/5): Awesome - We arrived to a lovely welcome. We were taken to our room which was spacious and comfortable. It was a little cold but we were given a blow heater which was perfect. Bed was super comfortable. We liked it so much we rebooked when we came back from our trip to the Salt Flats and the warm shower and bed was a real treat. They upgraded us to a 3 bed apart which even had a jacuzzi bath. Wonderful! Staff go out of their way to help, very polite and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel! In fact we will be back again after an Amazon tour!
• Verified traveler (10/5): awesome apathotel with exceptional service - I spent a week at the hotel and would highly recommend it to travelers. It is a few minutes outside of the main tourist district which is nice. Quieter and also allows for the chance to engage in the local community. I spent each morning in the park that is a 2 minute walk from the hotel and was able to meet and spend time with many of the community people. In general the people of Bolivia were the friendliest of any country I have been to which is most of the world. The hotel itself is awesome, clean, and the room well set up. Internet was incredibly fast which is not the case for other places i stayed in La Paz. Best of all is the staff including the owner who is on property every day. They all go way out of their way to make sure your needs are met and not only willing but anxious to help you with even the smallest of details. I got sick and they arranged for a Dr to come right to my room...he not only diagnosed the issues but also had the meds delivered to my room. The room was very clean and had everything one would want. I would highly recommend Almundena to anyone looking for a value hotel in La Paz.
• Hugo (10/5): Great hotel, great staff - We first book for one night but we were so happy with the hotel condition and even more with the staff that we decide to book for two more date after our salt flat tour. The staff at Almudena Hotel were so friendly. They arrange for us lots of shuttles to different location in La Paz. The rooms were neat,very clean and confy. I would definitly recommand this hotel.

• K (10/5): Great new apartment-type of hotel - Loved this apartment-type hotel. Opened only six months ago. So everything was new and clean. I wish I could have stayed with the whole family. The room (or I should say, "the unit") was that large. Two bedrooms (a total of three beds), living room, kitchen, and a bathroom. Fully-furnished with TV and everything and all the kitchen utensils equipped. It was a pity that my stay was only for one night - I would love to stay there for months! Great value for money. The hotel is located in a safe and quiet place so I was able to have a good night sleep. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel also provides a free airport pick-up (but your way back to the airport, you need to get a taxi) so it's a plus. I booked the hotel on the day I stayed but the hotel staff confirmed the service of the airport pick-up by e-mail (I sent a separate e-mail to the hotel just to be on a safe side) and sure enough, a driver was waiting for me at the airport. But be prepared for the altitude sickness - but I can't blame the hotel for it of course!!
• Adolfo (10/5): Great Staff Hotel. - I stayed 2 nights with them, they have pick up service from the airport, make sure you get it or ask for directions prior to your arrival, the Hotel is located in a residential area, is very quiet, only 20 minutes from El Alto international airport, they have a great staff that go out of their way to help, very clean, the apartments are spacious and everything inside is brand new, they opened in December 2014.
• Tim (10/5): - Staff were excellent. Breakfast ok. The place is new and has great views of the city.
