- Anna (4/5): Из-за этого недопонимания было достаточно неприятно так как была ночь и мы были уставшие цена высокая для такого отеля е - Хорошее расположение и круглосуточный рецепшн Мы приехали в 3 утра , заранее уточнив три раза если всё хорошо и нас примут в такое время но к сожалению по приезду обнаружили спящего сотрудника который проснулся как будто с испуга и держал нас примерно час не мог найти нашу резервацию а какой-то момент вообще сказал что нам нужен другой отель и мы приехали не туда. мы уставшие с дороги расстроенные пока не доказали ему что все оплатили и всё-таки это тот отель он обнаружил свою ошибку , оказалось что лист с нашей резервацией был распечатан прямо перед его лицом но он упорно искал что-то в компьютере и не мог найти и наконец-то привёл нас в комнату пока показывал комнату открыл дверь в туалет и отвалилось ручка, так что решили что лучше дверь туда не закрывать. Также этот работник дал нам знать часы завтрака но к сожалению когда мы пришли на него утром нам сказали что надо было делать резервацию заранее об этом нас не предупредили

Only one receptionist at the front desk spoke and understood a little English and he was only there for a few hours in the mornings during our stay at the property. The night time staff only spoke spanish. The hotel was extremely filthy. Stained sheets and drapes, dirty bathroom, dirty pool, dusty furniture. It was nothing like what is being advertised on the website. MISREPRESENTATION!! This was MY worst experience at a HOTEL/PROPERTY ever! I have never written a bad review about a property until my experience at this property. I would not recommend that anyone book this property! AVOID!!!

Lack of communication, mildew smell, poor cleaning, we didn't have water from 2pm to 9pm, no solutions presented, no management in the hotel. I had to find another place to stay still haven't heard from the hotel in regard to the whole situation, TV doesn't work, broken bed, bathroom gets flooded when you take a shower. Staff doesn't speak English but try to help as much as they can. Just a horrible experience, not sure how they are rated as good. EVERYTHING!
- Maria (3/5): Stay away from this place - Where do I start...I am so disappointed in my trip, even though it was a significant financial investment for me, and it usually takes a lot for me to sit and write down a bad review. First of all, the airport transfer was never delivered, regardless of my numerous messages and confirmations. So being alone with a toddler at 1 am without a safe taxi driver was a poor beginning surprise. The hotel doesn't provide the most basic appliances, like a boiler to make tea. I had to ask to check me out so I could move somewhere else before they provided me with an old boiler. The location is poor, with a huge and loud construction project just in front, so be ready to contemplate a lot of loud, working men from your window. The breakfast could take an hour to get, just because the person who cooks also serves, and she is very relaxed in life. Finally, I was charged 100 USD more than expected at check-in (at 2 am without any more explanations), and the personal language barrier and their unwillingness to solve my problem left me with nothing to solve this issue. Please, avoid if you don't want to stay completely disappointed. Apparently, the tourists expecting basic good service are way too much for this hotel. It is a very uncomfortable feeling to constantly want to move out in the midst of an already short stay.
- Olga (1/5): Does not match photos – very poor condition - Nada Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this property at all. The accommodation does not match what is shown in the Booking photos. The actual condition of the building and the rooms is very different, with clearly poor maintenance and lack of cleanliness. We arrived late at night and already at reception we had a very bad impression. Once we entered the room, the situation was even worse. There were multiple issues: swollen and worn doors, curtains in poor condition, old and worn grey towels, and very poor cleanliness. There was hair on the floor and in the sink, as well as visible dirt and footprints. The bathroom was in very bad condition. The sink was clogged from the moment we arrived, with dark stains and in a clearly neglected state. The ceiling showed visible humidity damage, with deteriorated areas and peeling paint. We reported these problems immediately at reception, but no proper or immediate solution was offered. The breakfast is very basic and of low quality. In addition, the information is misleading: the description and reviews mention breakfast on a terrace by the sea, but upon arrival we were informed that this belongs to another hotel of the same chain. This is not clearly stated during the booking process. The experience was so negative that, although we had no alternative that night, we only stayed one night and left the next day. We have photographs that clearly reflect the real condition of the room and facilities. In our opinion, this property does not match what is advertised and does not justify the price paid. It would be important for the listing and photos to be reviewed and updated to reflect the actual condition, in order to avoid misleading future guests. We strongly recommend future travelers to consider other options.

Desayuno (menos mal que era opcional) era muy pobre - literalmente te decian que tienes derecho a una tostada, un par de huevos, y si querias otra cosa, tenias que quitar la otra. Cafe muy malo. He llegado a las 21 de la hoche y no me dejaban entrar porque no tenian constancia del pago. Luego no me querian enviar la factura. Vamos, chicos de la recepcion muy majos pero tenian poca potestad para actuar y la administracion no se hacia responsable.

- Jona (10/5): Great stay overall - I had a very good stay, everything was comfortable and well organized. From the moment I arrived, I felt at ease and the overall atmosphere was excellent. I’d like to highlight Michael Alfredo at reception, as his service was very good: friendly, efficient, and always with a smile, ready to help. However, the breakfast was quite simple and could be improved, as it felt somewhat limited and lacked variety.
- Javiera (3/5): Mala experiencia - Nada Pésimo , al llegar estuvimos sin agua por casi 4 horas , el personal poco resolutivo , al llegar el agua solo salía fria y sumar que la ducha apuntaba a la pared por lo que era incomodo bañarse. Ademas solo tenian un jabon de pesima calidad. El 2do dia de estancia tambien se cortó el agua por un par de horas , horrible ya que se trata de un servicio básico. Sumado a esto, el wifi no llegaba a mi habitación, por lo que no podía utilizar la televisión ni celular. No me dieron ninguna solución , al personal de recepción al parecer le causaba gracia y solo me decia que como hice la reserva por booking ellos no podian hacer nada, que debia ingresar el reclamo por la app. Hable a alojamiento por la app y tambien escribí a servicio al cliente en booking y no tuve ninguna respuesta. PESIMA EXPERIENCIA
- Cares Figueroa (4/5): Mala experiencia - Instalaciones buenas, habitacion comoda. Lamentablemente no recomendaria el hotel ya que me quede dos noches ahi y las dos noches hubo corte de agua sin aviso previo. El dia de mi llegada llegue temprano hise check in y me guardaron las maletas ya que saldria a hacer el tour de buggies, llegue de vuelta al hotel a las 19hrs aprox. Ingrese a la habitacion directo a bañarme y mi pareja igual ya que estabamos llenos de barro y ropa humeda, y resulta que no habia agua, cuando fuimos a preguntar dijieron que estaban arreglando la bomba de agua que se demorarian 20min y terminaron siendo 3 horas. Durante ese tiempo de espera se fueron a preguntar varias veces que pasaba con el agua y el recepcionista con mala actitud no daba ningun tipo de respuesta y decia que el no podia hacer nada. Al dia siguiente en el mismo horario paso lo mismo pero al menos duro menos tiempo el corte de agua. Ademas la señal de wifi en las habitaciones no es muy buena. En cuanto a precio/ calidad de la estadia realmente no lo recomiendo nada.

- Leach (7/5): Good but not great - The property has everything you need. The staff is helpful. The location is ok. In fact, it's located next door to the best Mexican restaurant in town. The shower has lasting hot water (which is a huge plus for me). Despite all of the above, I don't believe the price is worth $71 per night. That's pretty steep for offering most things that hotels in America offer. I'll also add that El Cortecito Checkin does NOT have shower gel or shampoo in the bathrooms. You have to bring your own. This is something that pretty much every hotel, regardless of location or price, offers.

I guess it was to get you to go to the upstairs dinning. We went to the upstairs dinning on our last day to have breakfast and the attendant did not speak any English. So we went elsewhere to eat.
- Harold (5/5): lastima la falta de limpieza para las habitaciones y el desague del baño tapado por lo de mas bien - buena ubicacion y buen desayuno no hacen limpieza de las habiraciones de 4 noches solo limpiaro 1 dia y por mas que pedimos a diferentes personas la limpieza de la habitacion y toallas pero no fue posible. adicional el desegue de la ducha estaba tapado y se salia el agua por todo el baño

- Dana (5/5): Für eine Nacht OK - Es lag nur ein ein paar Strassen vom Meer entfernt Wir hatten das Zimmer aus der Not heraus gebucht , weil es bei unserer Ankunft Probleme mit dem ursprünglich gebuchten Hotel gab! Für eine Nacht zum schlafen ist es ok, aber sonst gibt es bessere Optionen ! Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen, das Hotel ist allgemein sehr abgewohnt! Das Zimmer was dennoch sauber aber mehr als eine Nacht würde ich hier nicht bleiben wollen !

- Andy (10/5): Nice - Room was large, hotel is overall tidy. Generally the furniture is on the older side but at this price range it does exactly what I expected it to. Great location near the beach too, however if you plan to chill in your room during the day, there's a busy road right under the windows and it gets very loud. It gets quieter after sunset.

La aplicación nos daba un precio y el alojamiento nos cobró otro precio superior. Desde luego tuvimos que pagar porque no tuvimos ninguna opción. Nuestra habitación duró inundada y sin mantenimiento durante los tres días de la estancia.
- Gabriele (1/5): Not great. - Good position Before arrivel the Hotel asked me to pay in advance through a link outside booking, I refused. They gave us 2 rooms, First cleaning was done after 3 days upon request. I did not get a carpet and they gave me a dirty one. One room was without electricity and warm water. In the end rain came and one room was full of water as windows are not closing properly. In the end they gave us another room finally. Breakfast is very poor and very slow. Nobody speaks English, and I mean nobody.

The last picture is a Word en frame that cell on my head. - The location is wonderful, they need the personnel with a better smiling actitudes. Lots of kids running around the rooms & moving fornituras, security went to tell them something but it keep t happening. Breakfast was so so in taste & staff where the kitchen not with a smile. NO cable TV ir wifi.

Appena arrivati abbiamo trovato peli pubici nel bagno, la camera era sporca in una struttura fatiscente, ha piovuto e si è allagata la camera, il wc completamente incrostato, lenzuola sporche e bagno impraticabile. Avevamo già pagato prima dell'arrivo e ci hanno fatto aspettare 45 minuti dopo 1 giorno di viaggio per fare il check in. Andate altrove Non mi è piaciuto niente. Hotel al limite della decenza

- Manuel (2/5): - Wir hatten das letzte Zimmer gebucht und bestätigt bekommen, als wir jedoch dort angekommen sind wollten die uns das Zimmer nicht geben weil es ja ein größeres Zimmer war und angeblich viel teurer war. Tatsächlich wie bei der Buchung angezeigt war es tatsächlich das letzte Zimmer wir hatten es aber gebucht zu dem Preis und Konditionen die gebucht und bestätigt worden sind. Wir hatten das Gefühl dass man uns einfach nur abzocken wollte.

- Rafael (8/5): good - Large and spacious bed, very good linens, very good cleanliness, working elevator. It's about 1km from the beach and has several restaurants with live music nearby, at reasonable prices in dollars, and you can eat well. A meal costs around 750 to 1500 pesos. There's also a karaoke bar reasonably close by, and a casino as well. The bathroom gets flooded... the water didn't get hot on the first day, but it worked very well afterwards. The bathroom water seems to have pressure that periodically sends a very strong jet of water, which floods the bathroom. There's no shampoo and it gives a slight feeling that the water isn't clean.

- Orlando (5/5): HOTEL ACEPTABLE PARA PASAR UNA NOCHE EN PUNTA CANA - Ubicación, habitación amplia y completa. Ofrece un desayuno aceptable (pago) con algunas opciones diferentes. No funciona el wifi en la habitación (Solo funciona en las zonas cercanas a la recepción). Al no funcionar el wifi en la habitación, no funciona el TV, porque únicamente se conecta por wifi. Afortunadamente solo nos alojamos una noche. El hotel podría irle mejor en la calificación si no es por el tema del wifi. En pleno año 2025 no es una excusa no contar con ese servicio para los huespedes.

- Luchi Josefina (7/5): I can always count on this hotel to a short stay - The staff. They have elevator so we can easily get the bags to the upper floors. The bedroom is big and the beds are comfortable. Very good air conditioning. The toilet was clogged. The TV didn’t work. The breakfast wasn’t what they said in the Menu, didn’t have Mangu, only bread.
