As somebody who checks reviews like crazy (they didn’t even do it, Justice!) and constantly vacations at the Jersey shore for the past 40 years literally (since I was a year old and now it has become a family tradition to take my children every year since they were born) And let me tell you this place is perfect!!! It is definitely a hidden gem. The owners are absolutely fantastic & soo accommodating. It’s quiet yet comfortable & they play some nice music by the pool during the day, but it’s not chaotic. It’s a whole Vibe~ The location is right there at the beach & even though you do have to drive to the boardwalk, It only takes a few minutes and it is so worth it! Location is awesome. The rooms are so clean & New. They are a little on the smaller side but for three of us it was perfect!! when we come back to Wildwood we definitely will be staying here again! Thank you for such an awesome stay!!

nathan (8/5): - Very nice staff, and a cute little hotel, short walk to the beach and in between Cape May and Wildwood, close to good food and fun things to do. Room was clean and spacious, but parking is extremely tight. My passengers had to get out before I parked because there was just enough room to squeeze out one side of the vehicle. Tiny cars fit with less hassle, but there were suv's here that took up more than a single space because the lines are spaced so closely. Not a bad place to stay overall, and less traffic than staying in Wildwood hotels closer to the Boardwalk.

They had grills, a space for entertainment, a very well kept, clean pool with a slide, a good amount of lounge chairs, and a lot of space for people to be spread out. The convenience to the beach and food was very close by too. It was a very relaxing place to take the family for a nights stay. I would definitely go back there again.

They make sure everything is organize and are very friendly they spoke to all the guest. My daughter loved the pool as it has a really cool slide. The beach is down the street. My family and i will definitely be back.

Room was nice and clean, with a full fridge/freezer combo, microwave, and 2 burner stove, you could roll out of bed right into a very nice pool. They got two grills for cooking, an ice cream shop, couple laundry machines for guests, everything was 100% convenient. I thank the owners for a great vacation and I’ll be back to the Pyramid again!

Ann (6/5): Very, very basic place! - This motel is very, very basic. It was clean, close to the beach and the owner was nice. I flew in and then drove to Diamond Beach to meet family who were staying at another property. Other places I have stayed provide what I consider basic things, like coffee for the coffee maker and towels for the pool and this place did not have any of that.

It was only minutes from the wildwood boardwalk and only minutes from Cape May with all the cute shops. Plenty of choices close by for dining.

Naomi (10/5): Lovely retro hotel in Wildwood - Stayed for a short visit, but enjoyed the lovely pool and comfortable room. It’s a family-run place, and they were very friendly. They gave us restaurant recommendations and we had a great dinner at Bandana’s (Mexican food). Our little getaway was relaxing and fun, thanks to Hotel Pyramid.

Sara (10/5): perfect long weekend - Our family of four stayed for a long weekend. We prefer the Crest and this place was perfect. We were on the beach block of a quiet area. The management was super accommodating and friendly. The resort is on the street where the Jitney stops to get rides to the boardwalk and North Wildwood which is super convenient. The room was cleaned everyday and had everything we needed. And the heated pool with slide was a big hit with our kids. We will definitely be back.

Lauren (6/5): Ok for the price - Shortly after I booked, I received an email from the location to bring my own blankets. When we arrived, the hotel staff was not the most friendly. The parking was terrible- the spaces were way too narrow and the lines weren’t striped properly so it was very confusing. There is no smoking or caping on the property- not even outside. You needed to go to outside the perimeter if you wanted to smoke. The room was clean, but only a fitted sheet on the bed. A new blanket for each bed was on the shelf. There was a coffee machine in the room, but no coffee or condiments. Small bars of soap and shampoo were in the bathroom.

Verified traveler (8/5): Very small room - The room was clean VERY clean, but it was SMALL And had a funky smell- like a combo of being damp and the cleaner they use. I’m talking nowhere to put anything small. We were stashing stuff wherever we could find room. No hooks, no towel racks, no hand towels. No blankets or quilts. Just a top sheet. We used our beach towels as blankets. Our second night, the owner put a blanket in our room- which we were thankful for- because the air conditioning until is literally a foot away from the bed and was blowing on my husband all night. The location is great. The pool was nice. The female owner was very personable. Their children were polite and well behaved and very sweet! We managed for two nights but a longer stay wouldn’t work for us.

The room was meant to sleep 4 people. We were 2 people and crowed. Parking was super tight , a larger person would not be able to get out of the car. All that said , if you are looking for a place to crash for a quick weekend , it was ok just don’t expect to much . I personally probably won’t return.

Jon (4/5): - The property was extremely loud for no reason. Asked a parent nicely to ask their kids to quiet down. Instead they went to the owners and lied that we yelled at them and their kids. Because they were friends with the owners or regulers the owners treated us like we were criminals. All we wanted was so our 5.5 year old could go to sleep without kids screaming and playing like animals right outside our door. The same kids stole things we left outside our door to dry. The floors inside the room were filthy. The kitchen area wasnt very clean. Can't recomend after the owners treated us with extreme disrespect when their friends or regulars need to be parente to their kids.

Micheli (10/5): - Room was cool and very clean when we arrived. It's a motel looks like every other motel in Wildwood & Wildwood Crest - but clean. Room was big enough for the four of us. Pool area was very nice and pool was a good size as well, the slide on the pool was a great plus. The downside: towels were very small, parking spots were small and no coffee in the room (there were keurig cups for purchase to use with the machine inside the room) Overall it was a nice and quiet stay.

Manager was very nice - Had to ask for blankets, no clock, no iron, soap the size of a credit card, parking spaces tiny, towels were dingy and thin as a Kleenex, plastic forks and spoons, no coffee cups, no coffee! Floors were dirty that my socks turned black, should I go on? It was very expensive and had no amenities at all.

I was pleasantly surprised to have housekeeping come in several times when I was out of the room-haven’t seen that much since Covid. Kitchenette with full size fridge very convenient and perfect size.

Mario (8/5): Vacances 2023 - Cette hôtel est bien propre et très bien situé. Le matelas était bien confortable comme chez moi.Une courte marche pour se rendre à la plage. La piscine est très bien organisée et sécuritaire. Seul petit bémol, la cuisinette était mal organisée Pas de hôte pour évacuer la fumée , pas de poêle, pas toaster, ustensiles en plastique seulement. Mais pour le reste ce fut pour moi un bel endroit pour un séjour de 5 jours je le recommande vraiment

No smoking (which changed from last year) which is fantastic for our young kids. Extremely close walk to the beach. No complaints, can’t wait to go back!

Beslira (10/5): - We have been staying at the Pyramid Resort for a couple of years and it has been a wonderful experience. The property is convenient and a 2 minute walk to the beach. The owners are very friendly and attentive and are constantly walking around to make sure everyone is comfortable. The rooms are also very clean and tidy.
Christopher (8/5): Clean rooms and friendly owners. - The rooms are clean and in good shape. It has a heated pool and a small ice cream and treat store on site. Location is on a beach block. And best of all, the owners live on the premise and are very nice. We will be coming back to stay again.

On the same block from the beach and 5 minute drive from the boardwalk. Great place to stay if you want some peace but also a short drive into some chaos . We plan to return again in August with some close friends and family .

Robert (10/5): - First off, the owners are on-site. Great people with a great attitude about what's happening around them. The room was very clean and well kept, as was the property in general. Wish I'd have known about the availability of the BBQ grills (completely my fault as my wife said they were available) as the food coming off from them smelled so good. The only reason I left a 4 star was for the pool. We had no problem with it but others may. It is probably due for a rehab. There is nothing I can slight the owners for as they are fairly new at this and raising a family to boot. All in all I'd stay again with no hesitation. The neighbors on the 4th of July look even happier if that's possible. Maybe it's because they live there? That's my guess, it's a great place to be! Never got the name of the owners, even though we talked, but I wish them the best.
