Excellent location on flat part of downtown core. Seniors should request lower level suites if climbing stairs are too demanding.

The family that ran the property were so exceptionally kind and friendly. The room was very comfortable and we loved the pool. However, the owners were really what made this property special. We felt very welcomed! It was all great!

The pool was clean and cool to swim in during the heat of the day. They had outdoor showers to rinse off after the beach. The staff changed our linens half way through our stay upon request which we were very grateful for. If I was returning to Sayulita I would definitely rebook! A little further from the centre of town but very much walkable

La habitaciones son suites grandes, espaciosas y limpias, cuenta con estacionamiento dentro y tiene área de jardín junto a la alberca. No hay televisiones en las habitaciones pero no hacen falta.

• Vargas (5/5): - La chapa estaba dañada desde que ingresamos al cuarto y tuvimos que asumir el pago, y justo viendo los comentarios del lugar, me di cuenta que en ese mismo cuarto a otras personas les pasó lo mismo y tmbn les cobraron, creo que dar un mantenimiento sería mejor, que estar causando inconvenientes a los huéspedes y hacerlos pagar por algo que es responsabilidad el establecimiento

• Toscano (10/5): Escapada de verdadero descanso. - Está, muy bien ubicado, a dos cuadras del centro pero lejos del bullicio, instalaciones con muy buen mantenimiento, personal amable y atento, camas muy cómodas, cocineta equipada con todo lo necesario para hacer un rico desayuno, además está frente a un ministerio, así que si olvidas algo, sólo cruzas la calle a conseguirlo, la alberca a de buen tamaño y en general muy agradable. En realidad nada me disgustó.

• Sandra (10/5): A delightful stay - Everyone was so kind and so merely care about the hotel and the guests staying there. Saying goodbye was like a farewell to new friends. My room was so bright and clean with everything working beautifully. I love the location… close to everything yet not smack in the middle of craziness… a quiet pocket ina bustling town and mi urea from super coffee, food, yoga studios, beach and hiking.

• mark (8/5): - The staff are always on site , super nice and readily available to help with anything you need. They have limited English so have google translate handy and you’re good! The cleaner was great! There are only a 3 parking spots on site so reserve ahead of time. They make room for 2 more but putting them in the driveway then want to keep your keys if they have to move your car to let someone else out. The car & walk in gate are locked every night by 9. They have strict rules which is great but a bit annoying as we had to ask permission or got questioned every time a friend came for lunch or dinner. There was this rule about your guests can’t even use your bathroom and we were told she could be by the pool or use pool bathroom only. She never slept overnight. So kind of annoying that the owners are like this but maybe they had issues in the past? The kitchen was also poorly equipped but the staff got us a few more items to work with and we made do. Our room with 2 balcony’s was very comfortable , a 5 min walk to the beach, market and many restaurants. Also there is a little convenience store right across the street too. It’s only about a 10 min walk to the main square . The flag week festivities were really quite something. Lots of music, horse dancing ect but we were not expecting so much noise , definitely hard to sleep. The fairground was set up for this week and was right below us and quite loud until 1:30 am but the whole town was noisy. Quite the party town that week!
• Richard Stephen (8/5): - For the most part we enjoyed our stay. The location gave quick access to numerous restaurants and services. Staff all very friendly, helpful and efficient. We were pleased with the room layout and the two balconies which gave opportunities for morning and afternoon direct sun. Our upper room also gave us a great view over the town. This was fantastic until the last week of our stay when the carnival was set up on the town baseball field and blasted loud music well into each night. Also, unfortunately the pool was not useable during our 24 day stay from January through February (cold and in shade from the sun). We will check festival dates prior to our next booking!

• Josh (10/5): - What an amazing family that runs this hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our quiet stay and were treated as a member of the family. The staff were so kind and the facilities were very clean and well kept. My only regret was that i couldn't stay longer.
• MARVIN (2/5): - The property has no elevator we had to go up to the 4th floor with 4 bags no elevator definitely an older person can’t do it I don’t recommend this place for anyone who has any heavy item to take to the room no parking available only parking on the street they have only 4 spots inside behind each other where u have to leave you car keys so they can move your car if they have to the hotel staff tried to charge me double the charge because i have reserved the 2 queen beds and should up with my Doughter so total of three and paid for 2 queen beds based on Expedia policy when u reserve 2 queen beds you are allowed to have 4 people anyways do your homework

I was lost trying to find the hotel and she picked me up on a golf cart. Silver also was very kind and loved chatting with him. He is very knowledgeable about Sayulita.

• Paul (9/5): Great place to stay with a kitchen and pool while visiting Sayulita. Easy walk to everything. - Staff were friendly and helpful. A good central location for walking to the beach or anywhere in Sayulita. The room was a decent size and the interior balcony was quite large; good for meals and for the kids to play. The hotel courtyard has a gate for controlled access at night with night staff so felt very secure. The pool was clean and had a good barrier around the shallow end so the younger children could play safely. The initial room cleanliness in the bathroom was poor with toothpaste marks on the walls and pee trails down the toilet base. The kitchen cupboard handles were sticky and there was grease spatter on the tile backsplash. The microwave and top of fridge were greasy and dusty. All issues were easily visible at a glance or just by touching any of the cupboard handles. Basically the cleaning focused on the floors but didn't cover the level of cleaning between guests that would be expected. The bed mattresses were quite hard and made it difficult to sleep. The town of Sayulita itself is quite noisy with motorcycles and vehicles with no mufflers racing down the streets at all hours of the night. Mobile vendors (bakery, propane exchange, metal recycling, etc.) drive around starting early in the morning blaring taped advertisements at high volume which disrupts all conversation and lacks any class. Disappointing disruptions to an otherwise enjoyable destination and nice people.

• Darryn (6/5): I would have a chat with the owners and tell them to spend some money on the inside of the rooms - Great location. It has such a beautiful courtyard. It’s a shame that these older units are in such poor condition on the inside. The Staff were very accommodating and polite and nice. 😊 The Beds are extremely old they need to updated. The shower was filthy. Shower glass needs to be cleaned and re-caulked. The toilet was leaking where it attaches to the floor filthy. Kitchen lightbulb was burnt out the hood fan lightbulb was burnt out and falling apart. Fridge was very noisy when it started up. The ceiling in the bathroom was black mold, needs to be cleaned and painted.
• Dorothy (9/5): Bright comfortable hotel close to beach and amenities. - We loved the private spacious deck that looked out over the pool. We enjoyed our morning, coffee, and meals, there, and after being out adventuring it was a great place to enjoy the gentle breeze blowing in and play a game and visit. It is close to all amenities. A great French bakery across the street. Wonderful restaurants close by, and a short walk to our favourite part of the beach. The staff were gracious and accommodating. There was maintenance going on while we were there. It speaks to the care that they take with their resort which is good, but the pool and hot tub were not heated which was disappointing.

• Lia (10/5): Great Stay - This boutique hotel is in a great party of town. It is super close to an amazing beach but also close to the main town…. but just far away so that it is quiet at night. It has everything you require for a vacation with a nice balcony and kitchen if required. The beds are firm and comfortable with a very nice view of the city from the front balcony. There is also several little grocery stores around and extremely walkable area. The little golf karts are not really needed.
• Louise (8/5): All in all, I was quite happy with my stay and enjoyed myself very much. Staff were very friendly. - I absolutely loved the two balconies. Sit in the morning on one to have coffee and watch the sun rise and sit in the evening on the other one to watch the sun set. The room was set out great, like the newer modern appliances and large shower area. I liked that the hotel was close to the beach, had a grocery store and Farmacia right next door. A bakery and a meat market across the street, and bus depot only a block away. A little disappointed in the pool area, since there was no where to put the lounge chairs to lay in the sun. Only chairs where available to sit in sun, unless you wanted to lay on cement right next to pool. My room did not have any bottled water, I had to purchase from the store. Some rooms had a ceramic water holder and there was one by the front desk but only had glasses to use. Mattress was firmer than I like.
• Val (9/5): Superb - Great location to get around everywhere in Sayulita. Very nice, quiet, safe hotel. Two utdoor balconies were nice. Shade on 1 side, sun on other. Noisier on street but could look out, quiet side enjoying the nice view of the pool and trees. For me, the bed was hard. Would have liked larger inside space, sofa to sit on with small table. But was as advertised, two beds. Outdoor chairs were worn. Worried they might break when sitting, thankfully they didn't.

• jose ramon (6/5): Mal servicio - El hotel muy bien, pero el servicio muy malo, me quede 3 noches pero solo 2 me hicieron el aseo, no me cambiaron las toallas, ni me Dejaron papel higiénico, tuvimos q comprar uno en tienda, al día siguiente reclame con la encargada y solo me dijo q no llego el personal. Q había dejado indicaciones de q me avisaran y nos entregarán papel y toallas limpias, lo cual nunca pasó, pésimo servicio.

Cuenta con un estacionamiento dentro de las instalaciones que es muy pequeño. Mi única queja fue la habitación que nos asignaron, está en la planta baja a un lado de la recepción; por lo que por las mañanas desde temprano se escucha mucho ruido, de la calle y el tráfico, pero sobre todo de las personas que están en la recepción. La habitación es muy pequeña, encerrada, con la ventaja que tiene aire acondicionado.

• Tom (4/5): Grossed out in Sayulita - We reserved the last room available to meet a friend staying there over Christmas. The room description said no view, but we didn’t realize it would be a dark box with a couple porthole style openings high on the wall only. There was only one overhead light on the fan and no lamps in the room period. The room had only one electrical outlet and none in the bathroom which was also very dark with poor lighting. Across the narrow street was one building under construction and a rundown hostel. The nomads in the hostil gathered on the little paved road and partied playing soccer, hakisack & skateboarding till all hours keeping us awake. The whole town was dusty with not so cute awkward cobblestone half paved dusty streets. The beach was dirty and smelly as the towns sewer system was not adequate and the streams flowing into the bay were filthy with waste. We were lucky and found flights to get us out early and were happy to leave our paid in advance accommodations and escape this unsavory town.

• Verified traveler (6/5): ok hotel close to everything - we chose this hotel as it had a pool. we checked in, paid our balance and were then told the pool was not working. we were there for 3 days and never got to use the pool. we weren't offered anything for our disappointment. the room was small and dark. I assume clean but then again, there wasn't any light in the room. the toilet was backed up when we arrived and I had to plunge it myself. there was no hot water either. on the last day the owner did give us a ride to our next hotel, very nice. I liked the quaintness of this hotel but if were to stay there again I would make sure to find out if the pool were open first.
